Hello. I'm sorry that it took a little while. If you're a writer on here or even if it you aren't, you may have noticed that there have been some technical problems going on that have unfortunately hindered some of us. I've also been experiencing some health problems that I won't go into detail on. I did want to say that I originally planned for this to be the final chapter, but I didn't want to just come back from out of nowhere and end it, so I'm going to write an extra chapter after this one. I hope that all of you enjoy it and I'd just like to say that it's good to be back.
Disclaimer: I do not own My Hero Academia or any of the characters.
It was another night like any other at the dorms.
It had been a few days since Kyoka and Izuku's relationship was revealed and after awhile things had seemed to calm down.
Mina and Yaoyorozu were still determined to have a wedding take place, with Yaoyorozu already planning it out and even offering to pay for the event while Mina was begging to be the maid of honor.
Kyoka rolled her eyes and groaned, in annoyance.
"I'm not getting married." Kyoka said.
"Yet." Tsuyu punted out.
"Yes, but it will still be a long time before I make that choice." Kyoka said.
"We're still training to be heroes and while my relationship with Izuku means more to me than anything else, that's still a big step that neither of us are ready to take." Kyoka said.
Kyoka turned her gaze towards Yaoyorozu and Mina, slightly glaring at them.
"Is that understood?" Kyoka questioned.
"Yes, sorry that we got a little carried away, we're just so happy for you." Mina said.
"I know and I appreciate it." Kyoka said.
Kyoka walked over to them and wrapped her arms around them, bringing them in for a hug, which they gladly accepted.
As Kyoka let go, she started walking away, yawning as she did so.
"So, are you spending another night with your fiancé?" Toru said, teasingly.
Kyoka looked back, seeing that the rest of the girls were either trying not to laugh or looking at her with knowing grins on their faces.
"I'm sorry, I meant your boyfriend, you just said you weren't ready for that." Toru said, as she kept the joke going.
Kyoka blushed at the insinuation that Toru was making.
"It isn't like that and all of you know it." Kyoka exclaimed.
"Yeah, we do, but it's still fun to see that cute expression on your face." Tsuyu said.
Kyoka pouted and walked away, making her way to Izuku's room.
"So much for maintaining my composure." Kyoka thought.
Izuku's door opened and Izuku stepped out of his room, smiling as he saw Kyoka.
"Hey, how did your day go?" Izuku asked.
"It went alright, until the girls started talking about us." Kyoka said, with a slightly embarrassed tone.
"Don't worry, I'm sure that they mean well and think of it this way, once they start dating, you can tease them as much as you want." Izuku told her.
"I'm starting to think that I've become a bad influence on you." Kyoka said, with a smirk.
Izuku smiled and walked over to Kyoka, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her closer towards him.
"What gave it away?" Izuku asked.
With that, Izuku leaned in and captured her lips with his own, kissing her passionately without any other care in the world.
Kyoka was enjoying every second of it, astonished by the sudden bold act.
"I could get used to this." Kyoka thought, blissfully.
Kyoka broke the kiss, only for a moment to speak.
"Not that I'm complaining but when did you get so bold?" Kyoka asked, with a loving smile.
"I remembered the other day when I stood up to Kaminari and Mineta and how you reacted to it, I guess I just wanted to act a bit more suave, composed and intense because I realized something." Izuku told her.
"What did you realize?" Kyoka asked.
"That I can't get enough of you and I'll do whatever it takes to show you how much I care about you." Izuku said.
"Well I definitely approve of your methods, mostly because I just want you to kiss me like that again." Kyoka said, with a little laugh.
"Just don't forget that I still like your awkward side too." Kyoka said.
With that said, Kyoka kissed him before leaping into his arms for him to carry her into his room.
As Izuku put her down onto the bed, he looked down at her before leaning down and kissing her.
The kiss was different this time, it was gentle and kind, but still with just as much love nonetheless.
Izuku laid down next to her, holding her closely as he gazed into her eyes.
As her eyes started to close, he leaned in closer.
"I love you." Izuku whispered.
Kyoka smiled and rested her head against his chest.
"I love you too." Kyoka whispered.
That night, the two of them rested peacefully, eagerly awaiting the morning where they would wake up in each other's embrace and every morning and night together to come.
As Kyoka slept, she dreamt of the day Izuku had first approached her to help him with his confidence.
She was so happy that she had accepted, because if she hadn't, she wouldn't have come to truly know the man that she would fall in love with.
In her mind, only one question remained.
"Where will we be after we graduate?" Kyoka thought.
