Two mothers

On with day 4 of May Muses! My idea for today: *6x18 spoilers!* I really wanted to see Snow and Zelena having a bit of a face off over Zelena's rashness. After all, the Black Fairy didn't only threaten Zelena'a daughter.

"So where do we look?" Snow asked. Zelena couldn't stand this any longer. The heroes were all standing around debating this like some business meeting. Not her, she was going to take action and defeat the Black Fairy once and for all.

"I'm not waiting around for some piece of wand." She hissed. "The only reason I didn't blast that noir coloured nit out of existence is because of Robin. So if one of you would be kind enough to watch her for a minute, I'll do what I intended and go and take care of this!" The group all looked amongst themselves. Regina knew it had to be her.

"Well hold on! You can't just go down there alone and confront her." She said, hoping to knock some sense into her sister.

"Why not?" Zelena asked. "What? You think I can't defeat her? I'm more powerful than you!"

"Is that why I had to rip out my own heart to save you? Believe what you want, you're not going down there…"

"Ok, enough." Snow said calmly. Both Regina and Zelena turned to look at her. "Zelena, Regina is right. We cannot go down there without a plan. The Black Fairy is dangerous and we need to be very careful when dealing with her." Zelena snarled.

"She threatened my daughter. Excuse me for actually doing something about it, unlike you." Snow's eyes narrowed, that was a low blow. She tried to step forward to show Zelena just what Snow could do when someone brought her children into things. Charming placed his hand around Snow's middle, looking pleadingly at Regina. Charming didn't want to have to let Snow go because if she made another remark about their parenting, he would.

"Zelena." Regina hissed.

"What? Just because the rest of you are too frightened to say it. Unlike the pair of you, I'm going to actually confront the person threatening my daughter and stop her before she gets the chance to hurt her. I'm not going to sit back and wait for the Black Fairy to come true with her word."

"You don't think I wouldn't confront the Black Fairy if I thought that would help my daughter?" Snow snapped. "If I thought I could protect Emma by going down there right now and shooting an arrow through her eye, I would. But here's the thing, Zelena, she's two steps ahead of us right now. You going down there all guns blazing isn't going to protect your daughter and I have a funny feeling it isn't going to do mine much good either. So if you do decide to go down there, and you somehow make things worse for Emma, I will go through you. Do you hear me? You think you're powerful enough to fight the Black Fairy? See if you're powerful enough to fight me if you put my daughter in danger." Snow warned her. Zelena couldn't deny she was a bit taken aback by Snow's boldness, but it didn't put her off the plan. She could still take down the Black Fairy. Zelena turned on her heel and stormed out. Charming let go of Snow.

"Want me to get your bow?" He asked her. Snow shook her head.

"No, if she does mess this up, I'll be happier doing this with my bare hands." She explained. Charming, Regina and Emma all shared a look. Killian took a couple of steps back from her.
