It felt like they'd been aboard the Jolly Roger for hours. There was no way of telling how quickly time was passing. They were below deck, so they couldn't even see the positioning of the sun. Charming had been trying so hard to undo the knots that tied his hands together that his hands were bleeding. He just wanted to get Emma off of this ship. They were tied too tightly though, and before Charming was even close to getting them off, he heard someone's feet coming down the stairs towards the room they were being held in. It was Emma facing the door, so it was Emma that saw Captain Hook enter the room.

"Good news, mates. There's been a change of plan." He said, swaggering up to them. As he approached, he tutted at the state of Charming's hands, dripping blood onto the floor. "Well, that's going to leave a stain." He commented.

"What do you want?" Charming growled at him. Hook grinned back.

"Now is that anyway to talk to the kind captor who is letting you go?" Hook asked sarcastically. That took Emma and Charming by surprise.

"Why would you let us go?" Emma quizzed him. Hook smiled directly at her.

"Wouldn't you like to know." He said with a cheeky wink. Charming didn't like that one bit.

"It's a trap, Emma." He insisted. "I don't know where he's planning on taking us, but I don't think it's anywhere good. I warn you now, pirate, if you put your filthy hands anywhere near my daughter again I'll have you with my sword." Charming growled. Hook laughed.

"Funny, I was thinking a similar thing about your daughter."

"Untie me and say that you vile pig!" Charming barked. If he got his hands on Hook, he would never see the light of day again. Hook sighed.

"This is going to be easier with you asleep, mate." He said. He placed a cloth against Charming's face. He struggled, but ultimately there was nothing he could do. Once again, he fell asleep.

"Dad!" Emma asked, panicking. "What have you done to him?!"

"He'll be fine, he's just rather noisy for me." Hook said, using his Hook to cut Charming free and place him on the ground. "I meant what I said, I'm letting you both go. Greg and Tamara don't play nice. They double-crossed me. So I think it's only fair I re-balance the scales by releasing you two." Hook explained. He got closer than was probably necessary as he untied Emma too. Emma rubbed her wrists, glowering at him. "A thank you wouldn't go amiss, love." Hook said with a wink as he got up again. Emma rolled her eyes, ignoring him. "Your father should wake up in a few minutes." Hook told her, heading for the stairs. "I trust we'll be seeing each other again?" Emma just watched him go, sitting by her dad. She couldn't quite work the pirate out. She wasn't quite sure what she thought about him, and she wasn't sure she wanted to know.
