Who stole the cookies- part 2
Lolly asked for a oneshot ofa sequel to Ch89 "Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar" where Emma isn't quite ready to let her parents off the hook and decides to be slightly petty and give them the silent treatment.
Snow and Charming weren't sure what more they could do. They had apologised, Emma appeared to have accepted their apology, but apparently not. She only spoke to them with one word answered. Even then, it was only when they directly addressed her and when she couldn't get out of responding in some other way. They knew they'd goofed up with the whole cookie incident, but how much longer was she going to drag this out? It had been two weeks! It hadn't been that big a deal, had it? Well, clearly to Emma, it was.
"Well, we just got blown off again." Snow grumbled. "She ignored my call and got back to me with a rather curt text." Snow explained. "She's not letting this go any time soon, is she?" Charming shook his head sadly.
"I think not." He agreed. "Although there's not much more we can do. We apologised. We made it clear that we don't favour Neal over her. If Emma wants to continue being huffy over it, that's her problem. She'll come round eventually. Maybe us not trying so hard will encourage her."
"Yeah." Snow agreed, she had been thinking that for a few days. "I just don't want her to think we're giving up on her. She's had enough of that in her life."
"I understand." Charming said, kissing her forehead. "But I don't think she will. Emma knows she's just being stubborn. A reminder that just because we were in the wrong doesn't mean we're pushovers." Snow nodded, leaning her head against his chest. Charming wrapped his arms comfortingly around her. They would get through this. Emma would come round.
