I have seen the musical episode! WOW!

"You have to take them." Snow said, placing Neal in his blanket in Charming's arms. "Take the children to the wardrobe.

"Snow-"

"We have to believe that they'll come back for us." Snow told him. She leaned over and kissed Neal's head. She then held her eldest close to her for just a second. "Go with daddy, Emma." Snow said, trying to be strong for her. "He needs you to help look after your baby brother." Emma shook her head. She didn't like the loud sounds all around her. Snow's heart broke doing it, as much as it broke saying goodbye to her newborn son, but she had to keep her children safe, but she forceably moved Emma's arms off of her. Charming quickly wrapped an arm around Emma's middle picking her up.

"Mommy!" Emma screamed, but Snow could not go after her. Instead, she wept.

It pained Charming just as much as he brought Emma and Neal to Neal's new nursery. He hated hearing Emma cry like that.

"Hey princess." He said soothingly as he placed her in the wardrobe. "It's all gonna be ok. You'll see us again…it's just gonna be a while"

"I don't wanna go!" Emma screamed. Charming knew she didn't, but this was the only way to keep her safe. He placed Neal on her lap.

"Protect your baby brother Em. Keep both of you safe." Charming pressed a kiss against both his children's foreheads. With that, he closed the wardrobe, and left his children to the unknown.

Now.

"So, what now?" Grumpy asked them. Now that the curse was broken, Regina was no longer their leader still, surely? Snow and Charming had been their rulers before the curse broke, surely it went back to them?

"Now," Snow said, smiling up at Charming with her eyes sparkling. "Now we find our children."

"So it's true." Came a gruff voice from behind them. Snow and Charming felt their hearts stop for a moment. They had been here. Their children had been here for months, and they hadn't even known. Slowly, they approached them. Snow couldn't believe this man was her baby boy. Slowly, she reached her hand out to his face. She looked closely into his eyes. They hadn't changed at all. Yes, this was her Neal. Without warning, Snow wrapped her arms around him.

"You found us." She said, voice filled with emotion. Charming slowly joined the group hug. Emma stood back, tears in her eyes. She would let her parents have this moment with her brother. However Neal found it all too much. He struggled out of the hug.

"I need some air." He announced, more to Emma than their parents.

"Neal, wait…" Emma called after him, but it was all too much for the man. Emma went to follow after him, but she felt someone take hold of her hand.

"Let me go." Charming said gently. He kissed the top of Emma's head. He hadn't been able to do that in twenty-eight years. "You can stay here and explain to your mother how you thought getting yourself put under a sleeping curse was an excellent plan." Charming told her with a disapproving look. Emma smiled sheepishly at him. It had worked, after all.

Charming then hurtled after Neal. He had lost twenty-eight years with him, he wasn't losing another second. Charming quickly caught up with him, hiding down an alleyway.

"It's a lot, huh?" Charming said gently, slowly approaching his son.

"I'll say." Neal grumbled in response. "Emma always told me when we were growing up that we were from the Enchanted Forest, and that our parents were Snow White and Prince Charming. I always thought she was making it up. That she never dealt with us being put into the system." Neal admitted. He looked at his dad apologetically. "Now hearing that such a ludicrous sounding story is true…it's a lot to take in. I'm sorry, I'm not meaning to be rude." He admitted. Charming nodded in understanding. He could see how a child raised in the land without magic would feel this was such an unbelievable story.

"I think I'd feel the same, if I were in your shoes." Charming told him. "Nobody thinks you're being rude, Neal. We think you're having an understandable reaction to finding out something very difficult. I'm glad Emma raised you with the truth, but that doesn't make it much easier. I get that." Neal smiled.

"She told me tonnes of stories about you two." Neal said. "She fought so hard. Every time we moved home, there was a risk of us being separated. She fought tooth and nail to keep us together. Eventually, when she was sixteen and I was eleven, she pulled herself out the system and made herself my legal guardian." Neal told him. Charming hated the fact his kids had such a rough life so far. He placed a comforting hand on Neal's back.

"Well nobody is going to separate you two ever again." Charming promised him. "Nobody is separating any of us…I'm so proud of you both, you know. Emma raising you. You, breaking the curse and reuniting us all. I couldn't have asked for better children." Neal smiled, but didn't really know what to say. He was happy they had found each other, but that didn't mean they would go straight to being a happy little family. That was going to take time. Charming understood that as well, he just hoped Neal would give them a chance to be the parents he deserved.
