Back to the future or stay with the boys?

I've decided to write another chapter for Ann and Jenny.

The three women now have to decide whether to accept David's offer. Would you like to stay with the Lost Boys in the future, or is there something in your life that will keep women away?

And anyway, when the three women suddenly appeared in the cave, Michael, Star, and Laddie have disappeared. Where did they go?

And with Viago, Petyr, Deacon, and Vladislav there are four other protagonists in the Lost Boys, but who took their place in Wellington?

Chapter

Jenny, Ann, and Pat heard David's words and looked uncertain at each other. They knew and loved the movie through being for so many years. And all three had often wished they were part of David's family. The women loved the four unusual vampires.

Well, and Pat had lost her heart to the four vampires from Wellington some time ago, especially Petyr had won her heart. This vampire was not handsome and compared to Paul, downright ugly if any living creature could be called ugly at all.

Petyr was bald, which Pat didn't like at all, and the teeth in his upper front jaw had become fangs when he turned into a vampire. The teeth covered his lower lip, which looked very repulsive.

The only way to tell the Lost Boys were vampires was when they got angry or wanted to drink human blood. Otherwise, they looked like humans. It was different with the Wellington vampires. Their fangs were always visible, and that was all that made them outwardly different from humans.

And now David just expected the three women to make a decision. It looked like he was very sure that the women would like to stay with the vampires. It never occurred to the Lost Boys that the women might have any concerns.

In fact, David's offer made the three women very thoughtful. Each of them had a life in their old world.

Jenny had her horses and the chickens at home. Who would take care of the animals if she didn't return?

Ann had only just taken in a dog. What should become of the poor animal without its owner?

Well, and Pat had a daughter. Sure, Tamara was a grown woman and meanwhile married herself, but she and Pat had a close relationship and Pat could not and would not imagine a life without her daughter.

Quite apart from that, each of the three women had a partner, what would become of the men? Wouldn't it be a betrayal of their love if women just stayed with the vampires? In addition, each of the women had family and friends. What would Pat's siblings think if their little sister suddenly just wasn't there anymore?

Pat looked around. "So, David, wait a minute," she said, taking the bottle from Dwayne's hand before he had a chance to pass it on to Ann.

David looked at Pat with raised eyebrows, then grinned. "Look at this, guys. But someone is a bit impatient! "The Lost Boys laughed, the Wellington Vampires didn't. They were friends with Stu, after all, and he was human. The four knew that Pat was not impatient but instead waited for their objections.

Petyr smiled at her and took the ornate bottle as a precaution, let David pass the cap, and put the cork into the bottle. Petyr was 8,000 years old and it was immediately clear to him that the three women would not readily accept David's ultimatum. These were, after all, seasoned women and no longer teenagers who could be impressed with a few stupid sayings.

Even Deacon, who at 186 years of age was the baby of the Wellington Vampires, recognized this. He went over to Petyr and took the bottle. Then he stood up in front of David and put the bottle into the Lost Boys leader's hand.

"I still remember very well how I became a vampire myself," he explained to the astonished David. "I was on my way to sell my wares when I passed an eerie old castle. Back then I thought to myself, 'It's scary and old'. Suddenly I was torn up by a creature. The creature took me to its dark, cold dungeon, sank its teeth into my throat, and drank my blood. Then this creature forced me to drink its putrid blood. The creature hovered over me laughing and said: "You are a vampire now!". It was Petyr and we're still good friends.

"David grinned. "And why should I care?" He asked. Deacon smiled. "I think you could give the women some time to think twice about what they want to do now. At least you could give the one or two more nights to think everything over."

Pat smiled at Petyr and Deacon. Then she got up and went over to David. "Aren't you curious about what happens to you in your film? Because that should really interest you! Well, and something very unpleasant happens to you too," she explained and looked sadly at Petyr.

David finally got up from his throne and put the bottle back in its place. Then he turned back and looked around.

"What should happen to us?" He asked. "This town is ours."

Ann and Jenny jumped up from the sofa, annoyed, and took up position next to Pat. "You four are going to die," Jenny cried out.

The Lost Boys started laughing. "Who should be able to harm us?", Marko wondered.

"Oh you are so cute," Paul stated amused. "We can't be killed so easily! But it is heartening that you are worried about us."

"It's very sad," Ann supported her friends, "but both of them are right. And we know what you have to do to survive. You need us. So you can't just kill us!"

Pat looked helplessly at Paul, Dwayne, and Marko. "Damn it, you can't be that stupid. We don't lie to you. You will die at the hands of children. Well, and by a dog."

Pat went back to Petyr. "You die in your film too, but I know how you can prevent that!"

Now Viago was alarmed. "What," he yelled angrily. "Sweet Petyr is going to die? What do we have to do?"

The three women breathed a sigh of relief. Pat looked around. "All right then. Maybe we can sit down first and the three of us will tell you everything, "she said, appeasing the annoyed vampires. "Well, I'm a little embarrassed, but I would also like something to eat right now."

That amused the eight vampires. David sighed and sent Marko to get something to eat and some drinks for everyone. Paul accompanied his friend. He didn't want to at first, but Jenny and Pat assured the tall, blonde vampire that they would still be there when he'd be back.

David stared challengingly into the faces of the three women. "Didn't you want to tell us something?" He asked impatiently.

The three women looked at each other and Ann wanted to say something, but Pat cut her off. "Sorry David, I know that you are impatient for usual," she replied. "But you know what, I can't think very well when I'm hungry. And besides, I think we should wait for Paul and Marko because that affects them too!"

David looked at her annoyed and then looked a little helplessly at Dwayne, but he just shrugged his shoulders. He was very concerned about everything the women had explained yet. He didn't like that all the Santa Carla vampires would be destroyed. That didn't suit him, he loved this existence. He didn't always like having to kill to survive, but there was nothing he could do about that.

However, David did not stand back so quickly. "Do you really think you are in a position to ask for something?", he asked in the dangerous tone that the women were very familiar with.

Now Jenny and Ann plucked up their courage. "Yes, we are," both shouted at the same time. "You don't have to behave like this towards us, because we are not your enemies, not even now after you threatened to kill us if we refuse to drink your blood!"

David raised his eyebrows and sat down on Viago's antique couch. He looked over at Dwayne one more time and noticed he grinned satisfied while he pulled Ann onto his lap.

Viago watched David's every move and shook his head. The vampires from this town were younger, as Deacon. Unfortunately, they didn't behave particularly grown-up either. Viago wondered how old these young guys had to get to realize that they sometimes could be wrong.

Vladislav felt the same way. He looked suspiciously from Dwayne to David. He looked like he had something to say, but he didn't.

"Dinner time," Marko shouted when he appeared with Paul at the entrance to the cave. Jenny, Ann, and Pat watched as the two vampires put the carton with the takeout from a Chinese fast food on the chest, which the Lost Boys usually used as a table. All three women rolled their eyes. Chinese food? Was Marko really serious about that?

David of course immediately jumped on it and all vampires were grinning now. They watched how the three women would react. David picked up a portion of fried rice. "Chinese, good choice," he said.

The three women shook their heads in annoyance. "Guests first," David said, handing Pat the rice, with a grin. She looked at her friends and shrugged her shoulders. Well, if David wanted to play games, he could have that.

She caught the fork that Marko had thrown her and put some of the rice in her mouth. David tried to put on his usual show, but the women knew exactly what was on David's mind.

"The maggots are really delicious," Ann said, without grimacing. David stared at Ann. He raised his eyebrows and watched Jenny and Pat grinning as they looked into their food.

Jenny was eating noodles. "The worms are also very tasty," she said. The Lost Boys weren't at all happy that the women knew their tricks.

"They watched the movie you are from," remarked Deacon. "Have you already forgotten?" He looked at the Santa Carla vampires in disbelief. 'They're a bit simple-minded,' he thought to himself. 'No wonder they are being destroyed by children.' Deacon grinned. 'With a little help from a dog.'

Confused David pulled some Noodles into his mouth. "I wouldn't eat that," Vladislav suggested. David looked at him astonished. "Are you just telling me, that you are not able to eat human food?", he asked.

Deacon looked at David as if he would have two heads. "We're vampires. We don't eat human food," he explained. Viago watched the conversation between David and Deacon. "Well," he remarked. "It seems, some vampires do!"

While the Lost Boys finally understood that their tricks couldn't impress the three women, Nick and Stu stood at the entrance to the boardwalk, rather confused. They watched the people walking around there. The two friends had no idea what had happened to them.

In fact, they had just got to their friends' house. They planned to go to the "Unholy Masquerade" with Petyr, Viago, Deacon, and Vladislav. This was the big event for the undead community that was held once a year in Wellington. Everyone had been looking forward to it for months.

Nick had just turned the handle on the garden gate to the villa when there was a bang. Stu and Nick were catapulted off somehow, to somewhere. Both of them lost consciousness for a moment, and when they woke up again they were lying on a beach.

It took them a while to find out they were in Santa Carla, California. The two couldn't understand what had happened, but neither could they change it. They ended up doing what they always did. They made the best of the incomprehensible situation. Nick and Stu explored the city and found their way to the boardwalk. Stu was human. He needed something to eat.

Everyone in the cave had finished eating. David was quite annoyed because it was now crowded in the cave. Eight vampires and three humans were initially forced to live there together. That would bring a lot of tension. There was tension in every flating-situation

Ann got up from the sofa at some point. Like Pat and Jenny, she was a little tipsy. "Tell me, do we really want to stay here all night now?", she asked and looked challengingly around the group. Jenny and Pat nodded. "Jenny is the only one of us who has ever been to Santa Carla," Pat explained. "I would also like to visit the Boardwalk."

Jenny looked into Paul's eyes with a smile. "Oh please," she flirted with him. "We have to stay here anyway, why not make an evening of it!"

David finally got up and nodded. "Okay, are you ready to explore the city with us?", he asked. "Come on guys, you will probably stay here for a while, so it makes sense if you know your way around here!"

Vladislav blinked. "Actually, we wanted to go to the Unholy Masquerade with our friends Nick and Stu," he noted. "Well, there is nothing we can do about the situation anyway. Come on, get up, and let's go. David's suggestion is better than sitting here all night. Is there a club here where you go dancing?"

The Lost Boys stared blankly at Vladislav. Dancing? Did he mean that seriously? Marko stopped briefly at the entrance to the cave.

"By the way, you still haven't told us what happened to us in the film," he grumbled. "You can't keep it to yourself any longer. Later on, we'll have a nice campfire on the beach, and then you'll finally tell everything, get it? None of you is named Sheherazade, and we're not in a fairy tale either!

"Jenny, Ann and Pat grinned after Marko. They were vampires and could have drained the women of all of their blood long ago, but somehow they were men too. It had been very easy to wrap them around your finger.

The Wellington Vampires seemed to be much more prudent than the Lost Boys. Well, they generally lived differently and weren't so impatient.

Ann, Pat, and Jenny were still not sure if they wanted to go back to their old life or if they wanted to stay with the vampires. It really wasn't a decision they wanted to would like to make without thinking about it. Quite apart from what the women wanted, they didn't really know how to return to their old life. They were thrown to Santa Carla by an earthquake, would they need another earthquake to get back?

It was a little sad, but Petyr was so noticeable because of his teeth that he couldn't go into town. Deacon offered to stay in the cave as well, but Petyr didn't want that. Pat had asked David if he couldn't manipulate people so that Petyr would look normal to the people of the city, but David just laughed. "You really trust me a lot," he said, amused. "I'm sorry, but I'm not that powerful."

Pat looked at Petyr, startled when she suddenly heard his voice in her head. "You don't need to be sad," he assured her. "I never go into town at home either. I don't like to be with so many people. It's too loud and hectic for me. Now go with the others. My friends take good care of you. I'll have a look around at this wonderful place while you are gone."

Then Petyr turned and disappeared into the back of the cave. Pat watched him go for a moment and followed the others when Ann tugged impatiently at the sweatshirt Pat was wearing.

The Lost Boys had previously searched the cave for suitable clothing for their female guests and found something for each of the women. Jenny, Ann, and Pat couldn't walk around town in their pajamas.

When the rides on the Boardwalk closed for the night, the group headed down to the beach as advertised. Marko, Paul, and Dwayne started a fire in a quiet corner. "So tell me," ordered Dwayne. "Now we finally want to know what's going to happen." Vladislav sat next to Dwayne and nodded. "How can we prevent Petyr from dying?"

First, the women explained what would happen to the Lost Boys. All three were constantly talking at one another with excitement and it was difficult for the vampires to follow their report. In the end, however, they knew the essential details. It was very quiet when the women had told everything.

"The dog is pushing me into a tub full of garlic and holy water?", Paul broke the silence in disbelief.

"They come into our cave while we sleep and kill Marko?", David asked, horrified. "We'll get ahead of them!"

Dwayne said nothing. He stared into the sea. Ann took his hand. You're not going to die, I would never let that happen" she said confidently. "First of all, you've gained some time because Star, Michael, and Laddie are no longer there."

"That's exactly how it is," agreed Pat with her friend. "Listen, all you have to do is not take Michael into your family. Don't listen to Max. He's looking for a new family."

Jenny smiled at everyone. "They're both right," she assured them. "If you let Star go, and you say that she drank Max's blood and not David's, then nothing will happen to you. You just have to tell her!" The Lost Boys nodded.

Suddenly two male figures approached the fire. Deacon recognized the men and jumped up in delight. "Stu, you're here too, how did you get here?" At first, he ignored Nick. Pat smiled at the two newcomers.

"This is Nick and the other guy is Stu," Deacon introduced the men to the Lost Boys. "Stu is still human. We agreed that we won't eat Stu. We want you to follow our agreement."

The Lost Boys shrugged their shoulders. "Whatever," Marko said. The Wellington Vampires filled Nick and Stu in about everything that had happened to them during the night.

Pat looked at Nick thoughtfully. "Nick," she spoke up. "I see you already are a vampire. There is something very important that I have to tell you." She explained every little detail to Nick and Stu. "If you tell anybody in Wellington that you are a vampire, Petyr will die."

Nick looked at her thoughtfully. "Are you sure?"

Pat nodded. "Petyr is in the cave which is the Lost Boys' home. He wanted to explore the cave," she told Nick and Stu. "Oh David, where do we girls sleep?"

David smiled. He started to like the women. There was no way he would eat them. He really wished them to stay. "Don't worry Princess, there are still some rooms in the cave where you will find a comfortable bed. And just in case you won't like to sleep in the cave, I'm sure in their house will be a nice room where you will sleep!"

The women nodded satisfied. "Take your time to make a decision about your future," David added. "We will talk about it in a few days!"
