Back to the future or stay with the boys? 2

After the Wellington vampires met Nick and Stu again in Santa Carla, the group returned to the Santa Carla vampire cave.

In the near future, nine vampires, like four humans, will have to get along there.

Jenny, Ann, and Pat will soon have to decide whether they want to travel back to their world, if that is possible at all, or whether they prefer to fulfill their dream and stay with the vampires.

Chapter

The girls were happy when they got back to the cave with the vampires. They liked Nick and Stu. The two were friends of the Wellington Vampires. They had appeared on the beach during the time the group had spent in town.

Nick was a vampire and Stu was a human.

The group had had a lot of fun at the boardwalk and later at the beach. They finally had to get back to the cave because the sun would rise soon and the vampires had to sleep.

The Wellington Vampires and the Lost Boys had been very generous and made sure that their human guests had enough food and drinks available. Paul had gotten some bills from David and went to the supermarket with Viago.

Stu and the women had to choose what they wanted to have. After discussing a few things, Paul and Viago knew what they were going to buy. The women were asking for some sweets and some fruits. Stu was very happy with this selection.

David also suggested that Marko and Dwayne could get a case of bottled water at that time. Ann and Pat also made a point of insisting that the vampires be sure to bring coffee and cone-shaped paper coffee filter as well as a filter cone. The vampires shook their heads in disbelief, but eventually put the items on their shopping list. The women were able to use the kitchen in the Wellington Vampire's mansion to prepare the coffee after all.

Jenny, Ann, and Pat were eager to accompany the two vampires, but Paul just laughed it off. " Although I'd love it if you accompanied us," he explained, "we don't have that much time left, and we'll definitely finish faster on our own. We might as well go there together next time."

The four people also were given the opportunity to use the toilet and the shower in the villa.

The Lost Boys made sure to inspect the villa carefully before they went to sleep themselves. They wished to be sure that their guests would have everything they needed.

Paul didn't have any desire to enter the bathroom at first, because he still remembered very well what the women had told him about his demise.

Eventually, however, the women were able to convince him that this bath was completely safe for him.

Jenny simply took his hand and dragged him into the bathroom when she noticed his hesitation.

"Nothing bad will harm you here," she assured him. "Come with me, I'll prove it to you!"

The Wellington Vampires accompanied the Lost Boys as they surveyed each room.

"This is my room," Viago explained. "You see, over there is my coffin. Vladislav's room is on the other side of the hallway."

Deacon opened the door to the closet. "This is where I sleep," he declared proudly. He clung with his feet to the iron bar that was placed there. "I prefer to sleep upside down, just like you," he remarked.

David grinned. "That's pretty small, though," he joked. Deacon raised his hands defensively. "It's perfectly fine with me," he grumbled.

After seeing everything, the Lost Boys finally settled down to sleep.

Dwayne refused to let go of Ann's hand. "I'd much rather sleep with you," he said with a smile. "I truly hope you'll decide to stay with us!"

Paul had a similar feeling. "Hey, babe, if I would be sure that no amount of sunlight would penetrate your room, I actually would just choose to spend the night with you right now!"

David glared impatiently at the both of them. "We all know what you two have in mind," he dropped in. "But it will have to wait! I'm sure the three of them have a lot to talk about!"

David nodded once more to everyone present, then disappeared into the back of the cave. Dwayne and Paul said goodbye to their wives with a kiss and followed David and Marko.

The Wellington vampires stood in the main room of the cave, undecided for a moment. Petyr smiled at Pat, then took her hand and carefully pressed a kiss on it, he didn't want to hurt her at all.

A special relationship was developing between the two of them, and Petyr didn't want to risk it. There was absolutely nothing sexual between Petyr and Pat, but the two were soul mates.

The women had decided to share a room. It was a bit scary in the cave and none of the three could imagine being alone in one of the rooms.

Stu had considered sleeping on the sofa in the mansion for a moment, but he felt much the same way as the women, he didn't want to be left alone.

So much had been going on in the past few hours that he couldn't figure out. He just needed the company of other people to keep from going insane.

"It's good if you stay with us," Pat encouraged him. "Because there's something you definitely need to know. You may sleep on the sofa over there."

Ann and Jenny were nodding as they remembered Stu being turned into a werewolf in the movie. Now that he was in the cavern, maybe that could be prevented.

"All right, I'd like to stay with the Lost Boys on the one hand," Jenny finally opened the conversation. "I've known the boys since I was nine years old, and Paul is all I ever wanted. I can't just leave him!"

Pat smiled at her. "You know, Petyr may not be handsome, but he's a really lovable guy. I'd like to spend my life here, too," she agreed with Jenny. "I realize that we have to leave loved ones and animals, but we don't even know if there's any way to get back there! So what do we have to lose?"

Ann looked thoughtfully at the floor. "I think you're both right," she said. "And Stu, you should think about joining us, too. I know you're a vegetarian, but you're going to turn into a werewolf. So I don't know how you guys feel about it, but I'd prefer to become a vampire!"

Stu smiled at the women. "I just got to know the vampires from this town," he explained. "But they seem to be okay. And as for the Wellington Vampires, they are really great. They are like my family and I can't imagine life without them anymore.

Pat grinned. "Well, they seem pretty nice for vampires," she noted. "I also don't think David is as tough as he claims to be. He definitely wants us to stay, I'm sure of it. We are his soft spot. He doesn't want to admit that because he's concerned that if he does, the guys probably won't take him seriously."

At that, Ann and Jenny started giggling. "I suspected something like that," Ann confessed. Pat's face suddenly became very serious. "I think we should be on guard around Marko," she recommended. "As long as we're not vampires, he doesn't trust us. I don't want to make him appear evil, but I don't trust him either."

Jenny looked thoughtfully at the floor. "Well, you're right," she explained. "I love Marko, but he will only really trust us when we are actually vampires ourselves."

Ann nodded. "He's watched Star test David's patience for too long. She stubbornly refused to kill her first victim. I understand Marko won't tolerate that," she said. "As long as she remained a half-vampire, she remained a danger to the Lost Boys! And now it is the same with us."

"A half-vampire?", Stu wanted to know now. "What's that? If you drink the blood of the Wellington vampires after they've bitten you, you're a real vampire right away. That's how Nick explained the matter to me."

"Well, Star wasn't bitten," Pat assured. "She drank the blood of the head vampire. He doesn't live in this cave. His name is Max and he's trying to get a mother and her sons into the family. His efforts fail, however, and in the end, the Santa Carla vampires are destroyed. I'm sure you understand that we can't let that happen."

Stu nodded. "That sounds bad," he said. "I can understand that you're trying to prevent that. I really hope Nick takes your warning seriously, Pat. Petyr may look scary, but he's a cool guy. Nick asked him not to turn me into a vampire, since I'm a vegetarian. Petyr always respected that and never harmed a hair on my head. I'm not sure but maybe I should make friends with the idea of becoming a vampire too. It doesn't look like a smart idea to be the only human now. "

Pat nodded and looked curiously at Stu. "Tell me, does Petyr ever talk? I mean, I've seen that movie where you guys are all the main characters so many times, but I can't remember Petyr saying anything," she wanted to know. "I heard his voice in my head before we went into town, but otherwise I never heard him speak."

Stu shrugged his shoulders. "Imagine you had teeth like Petyr," he explained. "He can actually talk, but he lisps, and he doesn't like that. Nick explained that to me. Deacon must have made fun of Petyr's teeth at first. You can imagine how much it hurt Petyr. After all, they are both Friends. Petyr has this telepathic ability, it's his way of communicating with others."

"Okay," said Pat. "I understand that very well. I just wanted to know. After all, Petyr is already 8,000 years old. He's seen a lot and is certainly intelligent and wise. And as for Nick, he was very concerned when I explained to him that his stupid behavior would kill Petyr. He will certainly hold back and not tell anyone that he is a vampire. "

The four humans went on talking for a while. It was almost midday when they finally fell asleep.

When the four humans entered the main room of the cave the next evening, David and Viago were engaged in a heated argument. " I really can't understand what your problem is," Viago complained. "I know that this room is not very big, but there are enough rooms in the back to give us enough space. And besides, we still have our villa."

When the two of them Realized that the humans entered the room they stopped the conversation. David asked the humans to take a seat with a wink of his hand.

"Well, we're just talking about you, ladies. I'm happy you finally keep us company," David stated. "Did you sleep well? Have you finally made a decision? Will you stay with us or do you want to try to get back into your other life if that is possible? And what about you,Stu?"

Jenny looked uncertainly at David. "Well, to be honest, The possibility of living here is fascinating.," she admitted. "But what will happen to everything that I leave behind? I would abandon my partner and my animals, it is not so easy for me. I know that Ann and Pat feel the same way."

Ann and Pat nodded. "I'm not sure," said Pat thoughtfully. "Who knows if we even exist in our real world now that we got here. And besides, even if I wanted to, I have no idea how to go back!"

Dwayne went to Ann and took her hand."Did you sleep well?" he asked smiling."I missed you. I dreamed about you again. But this time you have already been one of us."

Ann smiled at Dwayne. "I missed you too," she answered and kissed him. "I slept well, like a stone."

"Hey, babe," Paul shouted happily when he noticed Jenny. "Come over and sit with me!" He pulled the woman onto his lap and kissed her when she did as he wanted. "Just don't think I'll do everything you want," she told him. Paul grinned and kissed her once more.

At one point Vladislav cleared his throat. "I was thinking about the strange events of last night," he announced." I can imagine how it's possible that we're all here. Therefore, I also know that there is a possibility to return to our real life!"

He stood in the middle of the room and asked the others to sit around him.

When everyone finally found a place, it looked like you were in a school class, and Vladislav was the teacher.

"Pauline, my ex-girlfriend, is friends with a witch," he began his lesson. "At some point, she explained to us that it is very well possible to do something like a journey through time."

The Lost Boys laughed out loud. "Yes, of course, a time travel," exclaimed Marko, amused. "We secretly hid a time machine here and conjured up the women like that!"

"That is not the point," Vladislav said annoyed. "These women always wanted to meet you instead of only watching you in this film, and obviously they wanted to get to know us too. We feel honored by that. As long as each of them had been on their own, it didn't work, because we are talking about the power of the imagination."

David and Dwayne shook their heads, grinning, but Petyr stared solemnly at them. So both of them shrugged their shoulders and went on listening carefully to Vladislav instead of making a stupid remark. Maybe they could learn something useful for the future from Vladislav.

"Thank you Petyr," Vladislav said. "It wasn't until the three of the women met that they joined the forces of their thoughts without knowing it. What I try to explain is that they had the wish to get here on their mind at the same time. They expressed their wish to become part of this family, and that has come true now. If you would wish to get back home into your world at the same time, then you could get back there!"

Pat raised her hand because she had to say something. "But the boys said something about an earthquake," she told Vladislav when he stopped talking.

Petyr tapped Pat on the shoulder to get her attention. 'That's right,' he said into the minds of everyone. "You..." he pointed to the women. "You triggered this tremor with the power of your thoughts."

The Lost Boys were now staring at Petyr as if he had two heads. " You really think this is possible?", Marko asked and flipped Petyr the bird. Petyr stared Marko down and shook his head. These vampires were still young. There was a lot they still needed to learn.

Dwayne watched Petyr fascinated. "I thought telepathy only worked within a family or with humans. You must be very powerful," Dwayne stated admiringly.

Petyr smiled. 'That's right, I'm more powerful than all of you,' he admitted. 'But power doesn't really interest me anymore, and it doesn't matter right now. The ladies are supposed to make a decision, and they have to be aware that there are different options for them."

He turned around and looked at the women. "I can also assure you that you don't have to feel guilty if you choose to stay with us. "It will then be as if you had never been in your world."

"But then my daughter is not alive at all," Pat exclaimed in horror.
Petyr smiled, 'Yes, she is part of your old world,' he assured, 'since she is already living in your world!'

Vladislav smiled. "So you are completely free in your decision," he encouraged the women.

A glimmer of joy crossed Ann's face, but then she smiled sadly. "But I know the things I leave behind are there," she whispered. "I will miss that."

Viago got up and went to Vladislav in the center of the circle. "You know, it will be different as you may think it will be at the moment," he explained to the women. "At first you will remember many things from your old life, but as it happens to every vampire, this memory will fade over time. There will be things you will remember while others will be completely erased from your memory. You will certainly never regret it if you join us. I'm sure every vampire in this room will confirm that. "

The vampires nodded. "Come on girls," Paul called. "It would be so nice to have female company. At the moment this is one big sausage factory!"

That was just Paul. He always knew exactly how to make everyone laugh.

When everyone had calmed down again, Pat spoke up again. "That all sounds very good to me, too good, actually. There is, however, one more problem. We are not murderers. I don't like that I will have to rely on killing people so that I can survive!"

David cleared his throat and looked around, somewhat embarrassed. "We didn't tell Star the whole truth back then," he admitted. "I could have made it a lot easier for her, but I didn't find it particularly useful. In fact, it is enough if you kill your first victim. In theory, with our help, you could manage to drink from other victims, but without killing them."

"Sure," Marko shouted angrily. "And at some point, our manipulation doesn't quite work with a victim and they will hunt us down. Really, great idea, David!"

David looked annoyed into Marko's eyes. "You know I would do anything to protect this family," he grumbled. "But I think there is a need to open up new options when it comes to the ladies' over there. That doesn't mean you have to go without something, you crank!"

Marko just shook his head and chewed his thumbnail. Maybe David was right. It would probably not be so easy for women to control their thirst for blood so quickly anyway. So what was he upset about?

Jenny, Ann, and Pat looked at each other for a moment. Then the women nodded. "All right," Jenny said finally. "Count me in."

Pat and Ann nodded. "At least we know what to expect," Ann admitted.

"Exactly," agreed Pat. "You fooled Star, and you wanted to fool Michael too. But the three of us know what to expect. So where is the bottle?"

"But I want to be changed by Paul's blood," Jenny suddenly shouted, a little angry.

Marko sighed. "I knew it," he hissed. "Do you have any other wishes?"

Pat and Ann grinned at each other. "Dwayne," Ann answered at last.

Pat jumped up from her seat and went to Jenny and Paul. "Paul," she said. "I would like Paul's blood and Petyr's!"

Dwayne, Paul, and Petyr giggled as they registered Marko and David's angry faces.

David stared at the three women, then shook his head. "Whatever," he said. "Get something to put your damn blood in and let's get it done! What about him?" David pointed to Stu.

"He will be turned by Vladislav," Viago declared. "The two of them had been talking about it just now, and Pat said that Stu will become a werewolf in the movie, so now is the time for him to join us. The Lost Boys nodded and patted Stu on the shoulder encouragingly.

After the women and Stu took the first step and were half-vampires, the Lost Boys were not willing to waste another night before the half-vampires would kill their first victim.

Since the group was now quite large, they split up. David accompanied Petyr, Pat, Vladislav, and Stu. Paul and Jenny went out with Viago and Nick. Dwayne and Ann teamed up with Marko and Deacon.

David didn't need to worry. After all, his boys knew their way around. They would make sure that the first kill would not be hard for the half-vampires. Petyr took Pat's hand at one point and disappeared into the woods with her. He had heard a scream of a woman. Petyr was sure that something evil was happening there. He was right. At a clearing, a man was trying to rape a young woman. Petyr looked at Pat. 'What do you think?', he asked. Pat looked at him scared, but he smiled. "Okay, this man is a perfect match," Pat finally said.

Petyr nodded. 'I want you to go over to them and help the woman,' he ordered. 'I know you can do it. If you need my help, I will know and come over too.'

Pat realized she had to get over it. She knew she had to do this on her own. When the man finally noticed Pat he became very angry. Instead of leaving immediately, he pulled out a knife. The man threatened Pat with the knife. That was a big mistake. While Pat drained the man, Petyr hypnotized the woman. 'You don't see anything out of the ordinary! You won't remember anything!'

At the same time, Viago and Nick witnessed Jenny killing her first victim. Paul had chosen the man for her. He had been watching the guy for a long time. The guy was a dealer and wasn't afraid to sell his drugs to teenagers.

Paul took Jenny's hand and went over to the dealer with her. "Hey, are you throwing kids into addiction again?", Paul asked, while Jenny waited what would happen next. The dealer didn't take Paul seriously. "Want some of my stuff?", he asked.

Paul laughed at the man. "Oh yes," he stated. "The lady wants some of your stuff!" The guy pulled a small sachet out of his pocket. He wanted to hand it to Jenny. She took it, opened it, and trickled the contents to the ground. "Sorry, but that is not the stuff I want," she told the man. When he noticed that she had changed into a vampire, he tried to get away. Of course, Jenny was faster. She drained him. Paul plopped down next to her. He looked at her proudly. "You made it," he said with a smile. "You are finally one of us now. We need to have a party later. I am curious to learn about how your friends are doing." With a scream of joy he took Jenny's hand and pulled her into the air to fly home.

Ann chose her own victim, watching a woman in the garden of a house just outside the city. The child was perhaps ten years old and had dropped a glass when it helped his mother set the table. The child stumbled upon a toy lying on the floor and the glass fell out of his hand. The mother became very angry and she slapped the child. The child's head then crashed into a wall and the child began to cry, but instead of comforting the little girl, the mother cursed and send the kid into its room. Ann could not miss this opportunity. 'Incompetent bitch! ", She thought and pounced on the woman after the child had disappeared into the house. Dwayne watched her with a smile. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her deeply.

It was just after midnight when the whole group got back to the cave. "What about the party? We've been waiting for it all night," Marko cried impatiently pointing to Deacon.

"For someone who is immortal, you can sure be very impatient," David chided.

"A celebration?", the women questioned at once.

Paul got over to them. "Yeah, it's your birthday as vampires," he told them with a smile. They figured they were very lucky that they didn't have neighbors. The music was very loud and everybody was dancing and having fun.

The vampires only ended the party shortly before the sun rose again. Paul, Dwayne, and Petyr retired with their soulmates. As Viago had explained, there were enough rooms in the cave. During the party, the women had already talked about the fact that each of them would like to furnish and decorate a room according to their own taste. Each of the women had chosen one of the rooms. David had gladly allowed them to do whatever they wanted there. In the long run, however, they would have to put up with the fact that he insisted that the whole family sleep upside down on the iron bar. That would be safer for everyone.

Stu decided to clean up Petyrs room and sleep in there. As long as they would stay in Santa Carla Petyr wouldn't need it. He would stay with Pat in her room.

Epilog

There was something that nobody knew, not even Vladislav. It was not for nothing that he called his ex-girlfriend Pauline "the beast".

She was a beast sometimes. She had told Vladislav that time travel, or trips to different worlds, were possible if there was enough thought power, but she hadn't told him everything.

Pauline had concealed from him that in exchange for every person who traveled to another world, a person was torn out of this world.

So Edgar and Alan Frog were in Wellington to replace Stu and Nick. Viago, Petyr, Deacon, and Vladislav have been replaced by Lucy, Sam, the grandfather, and Max.

Edgar and Alan were still relatively lucky because they ended up where the villa of the four Wellington vampires had previously been.

The two boys were totally confused but eventually found their way around. They were used to taking care of themselves and began to follow the traces of the rest of the vampires that, besides Viago, Petyr, Deacon, and Vladislav, lived in Wellington.

But they shouldn't have done that. Because they ended in the "Church of Dispair", where the "Unholy Masquerade" was taking place.

Before the vampires who were presently pounced on the two boys killed them, Edgar and Alan realized that Sam, Lucy, and the grandfather were in the same situation as them.

Max had tried to protect the mortals, but he had no chance against the angry vampire pack led by Pauline.
