Father to father

Jessica asked for a oneshot of (only one request at a time so I chose this one ;) ) *6b spoilers!*…read and see. I hope you don't mind me keeping him awake, only he seems to have spent a lot of time asleep lately! I'm pretty confident most of these are one person (that's why lots got deleted), why is someone so obsessed with seeing Charming knocked out?! :L

This was killing Charming. Emma was meant to fight some final battle, and she was meant to do it alone? No, surely that couldn't be right. He was her father. She had suffered enough in life. Surely there had to be something he could do to stop this. If nothing else, he had to try. Charming's first place to try, was Rumplestiltskin. He was a father too. He too had lost a child. Surely he would understand where Charming was coming from? So Charming made his way to the pawn shop to talk to the man, father to father.

"If you've come to ask me where Gideon is again, let me stop you right there." Rumplestiltskin said coldly as soon as he saw Charming. "We're never going to get anywhere with that conversation."

"I've not come to ask where Gideon is. It's you I want to talk to." Charming said, approaching the counter. "I want to ask for your help." Rumple scoffed.

"Go on, amuse me." He said. Charming didn't see the funny side of this. Their children's lives were at stake.

"You're Gideon's father." Charming began. "Surely if anyone can make him see sense and stop helping the Black Fairy hurt Emma it's you?" Charming asked. Rumple's eyes narrowed. He didn't like where this was going. "Please, surely you understand? I'm Emma's father. I've got to protect her. If you can't stop him, who can? I need to keep Emma safe. If that means taking out Gideon myself, I will. But I wanted to give you a chance to save him first." That was the last straw for Rumple. Nobody threatened his son. He didn't even respond. He just flicked his wrist. In an instant, he and Charming had vanished from his shop into a windowless room with no door. No means of escape.

"Nobody is going to hurt my son." Rumple snarled. With that, he vanished, leaving Charming alone in the room.

"Rumplestiltskin!" Charming bellowed, pounding on the walls. Emma was out there. She had to be warned. Charming had to keep her safe. He had to find a way out of here.
