Emma in the middle- part 6
Marymargaret asked for a oneshot of a 6th instalment continuing on from Ch2456 "Emma in the middle- part 5" where Emma goes to Snow and they have some mother/daughter time.
Snow sat looking out of her window, watching as the birds twittered in the trees. She hated being cooped up on lovely days like this. Her time as a bandit had really taught her that she was most definitely an outdoor girl. Snow jumped when she heard a knock at her door.
"Sorry, sorry," she said, looking down at her paper and beginning to scribble furiously. "I know you're wanting to send it off. I'll be done in just a few minutes."
"Uh, it's me." Snow looked up. She smiled. "Hey Em." She said lovingly. "You ok?" Emma nodded shyly.
"You're busy, I'll come back another time…"
"No Emma wait." Snow said quickly She jumped out her seat and ran to the door. She gently grabbed hold of Emma's wrist. Emma never came to Snow's office during the day. This was a massive step forward. "What is it, honey?" Emma was going pink.
"Well, I finished my lessons for the day and I just wanted to know if you wanted to go out to the meadow together." Emma explained. "But I can see you're busy. It's fine. We can do it another time."
"No, we can do it right now." Snow said firmly. She wasn't missing the opportunity. She knew fine well that if she let Emma go, she would never come back and ask again.
"But you just said someone wants that paperwork sent away today." Emma reminded her.
"Well they can wait until tomorrow." Snow told her. "I am the queen, and if I want to put it off to spend the day with my girl, then I will." Snow said firmly. Emma went pink, and Snow pretended not to notice. She understood that this meant Emma was at a better place with their relationship. She wasn't going to risk that over some poxy paperwork.
