It was early summer on Sodor, and Tidmouth Town Square was planning to host the annual pony show, known as the Gymkhana. It was a parade that would be showing graceful ponies for the children to watch riding around in the field, and jumping over show jumps. Many children were excited for this show to come and were most eager to see it all happen.

When the day of the parade came, the sun was rising with a welcoming warmth in the air, and the Fat Controller was on his way to Crovan's Gate to see Molly and tell her about the arrangements that had to be made for the show. When he arrived, he saw Molly coming out of her shed, having just woke up with a yawn until she saw him come.

"Oh. Good morning, sir. What is my share of work today?" she asked.

"Good morning, Molly," said the Fat Controller. "Today is the Gymkhana parade at Tidmouth Town Square, and I'd like you to take part in it later today. First, I'd like you to deliver some tar wagons to Vicarstown. After that, well, it's much merrier. After your run to Vicarstown, I would like you to collect the equipment that will arrive here later today for the Gymkhana show jumping. I have arranged with Mr. Percival to have Sir Handel collect the equipment from Rheneas Station and bring it here for you."

Molly was delighted. She knew what Gymkhana entailed and would gladly take part in such a delightful gathering of ponies for the children to enjoy.

"I'd be most happy to do such merry work, sir!" she smiled happily. "The children will love it so much!"

"Yes. And Stephen and Bridget are especially excited," said the Fat Controller as he turned to leave.

As soon as Molly's crew arrived and prepared her fire, she whistled and made her way toward Crovan's Gate platform to start her day. She knew Sir Handel would be here this morning with some trucks and was eager to share the news with him.

At the station, Sir Handel was indeed at the platform, but he was in a rather bad temper, having to deal with trucks again. Rather like Gordon, he despised anything to do with trucks and many years ago, he had gone so far as to derail himself just to get out of such work. Although he had learned not to pull such a stunt again, Sir Handel was still grumbling dreadfully today.

"Come now, Sir Handel," said his driver. "We have a schedule to keep today. We have to collect the equipment for the Gymkhana parade today."

"Bah! Trucks! TRUCKS! Why can't Peter Sam do it?!" Sir Handel grouched. "He likes managing trucks well enough, and it would give me more time to be with much cleaner, proper coaches!"

"You will do as you are told," came the blunt reply. "Mr. Percival chose YOU for these trucks. NOT Peter Sam."

At that moment, Molly arrived to fetch her tar wagons from the station's siding.

"Good morning, Sir Handel!" she greeted warmly. "Today's the Gymkhana parade at Tidmouth Town Square! You must be excited about it! Such lovely ponies! The Fat Controller says you are to..."

But Sir Handel was in too much of a bad mood to listen. He was still fuming dreadfully over pulling trucks and spoke back rather rudely.

"Cut the sweet, sunny speech already! I know what to do!" And he fussed out of the station before Molly could finish.

"Hmph! That little grump Sir Handel! 'Special wheels' indeed! Of all the cheek!" she wheeshed as she went on her way with her tar wagons.

Further down the narrow line, Sir Handel was still fuming and grumbling badly as he huffed hastily and unevenly along the line with his trucks rattling and shaking behind him. He was in such a tizzy that he wasn't thinking very clearly. What was more, the lady delivering the equipment for the Gymkhana parade was supposed to meet him at Rheneas Station, but she was running late. As such, from both sides of the matter, there would be a little mix-up for the parade so many children were excited to see.

Some time later, when Sir Handel looked up and saw Rheneas Station ahead, he didn't see anyone waiting for him at the platform. There was not a person in sight.

"Hm. There's no one here. Perhaps that precious equipment is further on!" he wheeshed, and he ran right on past the station without stopping.

Sometime later, he came to Lakeside Station. Sir Handel found a group of men with a great pile of boxes standing between the rails and the harbour quayside. Sir Handel stopped hastily and spoke up at once, thinking this was the equipment he needed to collect.

"Alright, gentlemen! I've come to collect everything for the show, and I mustn't be late! Be good fellows and load up my trucks!"

The men were confused. "Load all this? For what show?" said one of them.

"I thought this was all being loaded onboard the boat for the Mainland," said another one. "I was sure of it."

But in the end, they shrugged their shoulders and got to work, loading Sir Handel's trucks quickly, not knowing how to feel about all this. Sir Handel merely sighed and waited until he was ready to keep going. Soon enough, the loading was done, and Sir Handel dashed off again to make his way back to Crovan's Gate to leave his load for Molly to pick up.

Meanwhile, Molly had been working steadily with her load of tar wagons and reached Vicarstown in good time. She left her wagons in their siding when she suddenly heard her favourite whistle. James had arrived with his own set of trucks.

When Molly saw him, she felt a sudden wave of joy rush through her boiler. She had not seen James for a long while. Not since they reignited their spark of passion almost an entire year ago, two springs past. This gave her another wave of hope that perhaps she could spend another night with him if all went well for the parade. As she fondly remembered that passionate night, Molly whistled with fervor as she huffed right up alongside James.

"Hello again, Jimmy!" she smiled. "How have you been doing...since our amazing spark two springs past?"

James looked and saw Molly's shy, but lovely face and lit up immediately. "Oh, Molly. Hello! So lovely seeing you again...I've been doing fairly enough since our last ritual. Now, you look like you're in a very sunny mood, my Shining Sun. What's making you shine so brightly today?"

"Oh, James! It's simply wonderful today. Tidmouth Town Square is hosting the Gymkhana parade for the ponies to give a show for the children. Now that I've finished by tar wagon run to here, I'm to return to Crovan's gate and collect the equipment needed for the parade. Sir Handel will bring it up from Rheneas Station. But, oh, James! Isn't it lovely just to think of those lovely ponies?"

James usually didn't think much of such things, but he was still very happy to see Molly again, and knowing that she would have a hand in all of this made him feel very good about her. He even had his own involvement with this parade.

"Well, Molly. I am very happy to hear you have a hand in this parade," he remarked. "I'm actually taking part in it too. I have to fetch my special train, bringing guests and visitors to the parade."

"Are you? Well, that means we'll see each other at the parade," Molly smiled.

"Yes, we will," said James. "In fact, after another long wave of time that has gone by...that may just give us another chance...tonight. Don't you think?"

Molly's cheeks went a little red, remembering their reignited spark. "Oh, my! I would love that, James. If all goes well, of course you can join me!"

"And so I shall!" James whistled as he set off again to fetch his special train.

"See you at the parade, James!" Molly whistled back as she made her way back to Crovan's Gate.

When Molly returned, she looked and saw some empty trucks to make her delivery to Town Square. When she approached Crovan's Gate platform, she saw a steady pile of boxes for her trucks to be loaded up. But she did not yet know what had happened earlier with Sir Handel. A few workmen came by, ready to load Molly's trucks.

"So. This is the gymkhana equipment," she remarked.

"Yes. So it is," said one of the workmen as they got to work.

Soon, Molly's trucks were loaded and set to go. With a whistle of departure, she set off for Tidmouth Town Square, feeling even more excited. When she arrived at Town Square, she saw the Gymkhana organizer waiting for her. Molly was on time, and the workmen got to work unloading the boxes and setting them up across the fields. With that, Molly set off once more until she could come back and watch the parade whenever it started.

At Knapford Station, the Fat Controller had been in his office for the past hour, checking the timetable and looking at his watch. It seemed that everything was going smoothly, until a few minutes later, when his telephone suddenly rang.

"Hello?" he answered. To his surprise and sudden mild concern, it was the organizer of the Gymkhana parade.

"Sir Topham! What on earth is going on?!" she complained. "What good are potted plants for show jumping?! Ponies don't jump over plants!"

The Fat Controller was initially confused and thought for a moment. "Potted plants? Show jumping? Oh...well, I will attend to the matter immediately...although I think I have a rough idea of what could have happened. Goodbye."

And as he hung up, he frowned to himself as he began to put the pieces together...

Meanwhile, the Thin Controller was in his own office at Blue Mountain Quarry, wondering how Sir Handel might have been doing, when his telephone rang too.

"Hello?" he answered. It was the owner of a garden centre.

"Mr. Percival! Our shipment of special potted plants haven't arrived for the flower show on the Mainland! The boat arrived, and none of our plants were on board!"

"Oh! I...I see," said the Thin Controller. "Well, sir. I'll look into the matter right away."

But no sooner had the Thin Controller hung up when his phone rang again. This time, it was the Fat Controller.

"Hello? Mr. Percival?"

"Oh! Sir Topham," said the Thin Controller. "What brings you to call here?"

"I've just finished a call from the Gymkhana organizer," said the Fat Controller. "And it appears that Sir Handel brought the wrong goods to Molly. Instead of the gymkhana equipment, Molly delivered potted plants!"

The Thin Controller was shocked and he immediately realized what this all meant. The goods that Sir Handel delivered to Tidmouth were the Mainland's potted plants for the Mainland...and the proper equipment was still at Rheneas Station.

"Oh! This is a disaster!" he exclaimed. "We must get cracking to solve this at once!"

The Fat Controller agreed and hung up. He then ran out of his office to his car and drove off for Town Square, while the Thin Controller left with haste to find Molly and Sir Handel.

On the Main Line, Molly had been making her way back to Crovan's Gate to stand by until the parade would begin. She was just approaching Kildane Station, when she saw the Thin Controller waving her down at the platform, which made her stop.

"Molly!" he called. "There's been a mistake today. I'm afraid there's been a mix-up in the train you took to Town Square."

"What do you mean, sir?" asked Molly. "I came back and found the gymkhana equipment waiting in boxes for me."

"No, Molly. That wasn't the Gymkhana equipment...Sir Handel had collected potted plants that were supposed to go to the Mainland...and that's what was delivered to Town Square! He must have gone up to Lakeside since the lady delivering the equipment ran a little late for Rheneas Station. Sir Handel should have waited!"

"What?!" Molly gasped. "That little grouch! He was hissing off so badly about pulling trucks, he didn't care to listen to me this morning!"

"We must find him at once!" snapped the Thin Controller as he climbed aboard Molly, who began thinking a few more things to herself.

Molly rushed the rest of the way back to Crovan's Gate and looked around. She couldn't see Sir Handel at the station or in the yards. Then she approached the sheds. Beside her own shed was the Narrow Gauge shed...and inside was Sir Handel, who had been resting there for quite a while now. She huffed right alongside the shed and hissed steam loudly. Sir Handel looked up.

"There you are, you little mischief-maker!" Molly hissed. "You've been very careless today, Sir Handel! You picked up the wrong delivery for me to take to Town Square!"

"What are you talking about, Molly?" asked Sir Handel. "The equipment wasn't at Rheneas Station. It was at Lakeside Harbour! I saw the workmen waiting for me, and I brought that load back here for you to deliver!"

Then the Thin Controller stepped down from Molly, crossing his arms. "I think you'll find that the Gymkhana equipment was at Rheneas Station, Sir Handel, and it still is! But since you were too hasty this morning, you didn't stop at the right place, and the potted plants for the Mainland went to the Gymkhana by mistake!"

In that moment, Sir Handel was flustered and staggered. He had made a silly mistake, and now there wasn't time to sort it all at once.

"W-w-wh-what?! WHAT? How-but-I...WHAT?!" he sputtered. "What do we do now? What do we do?"

Molly sighed, rather annoyed. "Hmph! There's no time to collect the equipment in time! The show will start very soon now! YOUR silly delivery means we'll miss the start of the show if we're not quick. Although...those potted plants have given me an idea. Please excuse me, Mr. Percival."

And off she steamed. The Thin Controller watched her leave, then turned to Sir Handel with a brief and blunt message.

"I shall talk to you. LATER."

Molly hurried all she could back along the line. Before she knew it, she was back at Tidmouth Town Square. There, she saw the Fat Controller and the Gymkhana organizer hotly arguing on the platform over the mix-up and potential delay and even worse, cancellation of the parade. The Fat Controller tried to remain calm while the organizer ranted over the irresponsibility of Sir Handel, and the looming disappointment the children would feel when James brought them here.

"Excuse me. Sir? Ma'am?" Molly tried to speak.

But both people kept quarreling, getting louder and more intense every few moments. Then suddenly, Molly's whistle split the air, then her shrill voice followed.

"QUIET!" she yelled.

Both the Fat Controller and the Gymkhana organizer froze, then looked curiously at Molly. Molly curled her lip inward and turned a little red, feeling a little surprised even by herself. Then she spoke.

"Well then. To business," she said a little feebly. "Now, sir...and ma'am. I know that there's been a mix-up, no thanks to Sir Handel. There was supposed to be gymkhana equipment. Not potted plants...but I have an idea to still make this parade work. I've been thinking about it ever since Mr. Percival told me about the mix-up. These plants can still be put to good use...ma'am, what if we lined up two potted plants in a row...and put a garden rake across them for the ponies to jump over? Perhaps we could invite the garden owner to the parade and he could sell these plants after the show?"

The Gymkhana organizer had heard everything Molly said, and she thought this was a brilliant choice.

"Well, Molly. That does sound like a fine piece of ingenuity. I fully agree with you. It just might work. I'll arrange this plan immediately."

Molly whistled happily and the Fat Controller smiled.

"Well, the ponies, children, visitors and guests should be arriving in one hour now," he said. "We'd best get to arranging this potted Gymkhana. I, meanwhile shale reach out to the garden owner and see if he can come."

While the Fat Controller drove off to get in touch with the garden manager, Molly watched with a smile as the field was brought to life with her little plan. The Gymkhana organizer and the workmen layed the potted plants throughout the field and set up garden rakes above the plants. It was indeed a lovely sight to watch. But Molly knew it would become even better when the visitors and guests arrived.

About an hour later, everything was ready for the parade, and the Fat Controller's car drove up beside Town Square. Then he, the Thin Controller and the owner of the garden centre came out of the car and approached Molly.

"Hello, Molly," said the garden owner. "Sir Topham Hatt called me and asked if I could come by and see this parade. Caitlin dropped me off at Vicarstown and Sir Topham drove me all the way here. I was disappointed to learn these plants didn't come to my garden. But now...I must say, this is a rather interesting setup for Gymkhana."

And then, just a few minutes later, Percy and Emily arrived, smiling dearly for the coming parade. Emily had brought the children along, and Percy had a flatbed carrying Sir Handel, who looked to the field and saw the setup Molly must have been talking about earlier, feeling a little ashamed of himself for causing the mix-up.

"Look at this, Emily," said Percy. "This parade seems a little different than others that have included ponies."

"I see, Percy," said Emily. "Potted plants and garden rakes. It's different, but I think it looks lovely all the same."

Molly blushed to herself, feeling proud. Then she heard James' whistle. She looked, and there he was with his special train of visitors and guests. He smiled steadily when he saw Molly right there in front of him. He stopped at the platform and let everyone off while he held his gaze to Molly. But then he looked to the field and saw the setup. It was not quite what he would have expected.

"Molly, what's all this?" he asked. "This doesn't look like Gymkhana to me."

"Well, you see, James...Sir Handel had caused a little problem," said Molly. "He was so grumpy about pulling trucks, he didn't stop to collect the equipment. He went to Lakeside and collected potted plants...that were supposed to be for a garden show on the Mainland!"

James jumped and shot a look to Sir Handel on Percy's flatbed.

"No doubt he got you in trouble for all that!" James huffed.

"No he didn't, James," said Molly. "See how those plants are set up with those garden rakes? I thought that up so the ponies can still do show jumps. What do you think?"

James took another look and thought. Then he smiled right at Molly.

"Oh, Molly. Such a thoughtful lady you are," he said. "I don't think I would have come up with something like this. I think you saved the parade for the children."

"You thought this up, Molly? It looks lovely indeed," said Emily.

"Thank you," Molly replied. "And look, everyone! Here come the children...and, oh! The ponies!"

Molly was right. The children came out of Emily's coaches and gasped at the beautiful sight in the field. Then Toby arrived with two cattle trucks carrying all the ponies. Soon, they were all unloaded, and the children cheered happily before they all walked toward the field with their ponies.

The Gymkhana organizer then made an announcement.

"Welcome, ladies, gentlemen and engines. I now present to you this year's Gymkhana parade. As you can see, our setup is a little different than it has been in the past, due to a little confusion...but all the same, we're all here, and with the unexpected helping hand from Molly, this parade is also quite a flourish, I must say. I hereby declare this year's Gymkhana parade open!"

All the guests and visitors took their seats, and the parade began.

There were lovely potted plants standing in rows throughout the field, with garden rakes above the plants to make show jumps for the ponies. The children rode their ponies every which way, jumping over show jumps and having a wonderful time. Pots of conifer were layed out in a lovely fashion for everyone to play various Gymkhana games. The Sodor Times newspaper photographers soon arrived and were all taking photographs for the day.

Molly took absolute delight in everything she saw, watching the ponies trot and jump, while the children cheered and laughed all the way. She could see her little idea worked beautifully, and it made her rather proud. Even James found himself enjoying the parade, particularly since it brought such a smile to Molly's face. He could tell that her plan had made this parade turn out to be a major success, and he couldn't wait to meet up with her alone later that evening.

Finally, after the games and riding were done for the day, the owner of the garden centre presented the children with rosettes and various prizes. The children were all happy with the parade. After the rosettes and prizes were given out, the garden owner spoke next.

"Now, I'd like to make one more offer," he said. "These potted plants were supposed to be for the Mainland...but now, seeing as they've done this parade such a fine, and flourishing service, I would like to sell these plants to whoever may want one for their own."

Stephen and Bridget Hatt had come along with the children, and they offered to help the garden owner set up a stall so he could sell the plants.

"Please, sir. May we help you with these plants?" asked Stephen.

"This was such a fun parade, and we'd like to take part ourselves if we can," said Bridget.

"Of course you may help me," said the garden owner. "Just help me gather the potted plants together, and I'll find some workmen to set up a stall, where you can help me sell these very fine plants."

Stephen and Bridget smiled and got right to it. Before long, lots of people were lined up at the stall, each buying a plant of their very own, while Stephen and Bridget helped the owner however they could, which made the Fat Controller smile dearly for his grandchildren.

Neither James, nor Molly noticed, but James' driver slipped into the lineup and got a plant of his own...then hid it in James' cab for later.

Eventually, the stall was empty, except for one plant left. The garden owner just turned to check the plant, when a hungry pony suddenly trotted by and ate the plant up. Stephen turned around too and saw the empty pot.

"Oh. Well, it seems even one of the ponies wanted a plant of his own too," joked the Fat Controller.

Some of the visitors laughed. Altogether, the Gymkhana parade was a great success. Soon, the children returned to Emily's coaches. The guests and visitors returned to James' coaches and they both set off on their separate ways to bring them home. Then while Toby and Percy took the ponies and Sir Handel home and back to the Blue Mountain Quarry, the Gymkhana organizer was very pleased as she shook the Fat Controller's hand.

"Thank you, Sir Topham, for bringing this parade to such flourishing life. This will be a day to remember."

"Excellent turnout today, Sir Topham!" said the garden owner. "I think I've sold more plants today than I ever would have at the Mainland's flower show!"

The Fat Controller shook his hand too, then he turned to the Shining Sun of the rails.

"Well done, Molly, and thank you! You have been really useful indeed today!" the Fat Controller smiled.

"Hm-hm! Thank you, sir," Molly chuckled. "But really, it was only because Sir Handel was a really careless one! At least it helped me make the parade quite lovely, and so many people got a potted plant of their own!"

"Exactly, Molly," said the garden owner. "You have indeed made this parade special."

"And for that, I think you deserve a night with James," said the Fat Controller. "He'll surely be waiting for you at Crovan's Gate after he brings the visitors home."

Molly whistled happily and went right on her way, feeling even happier about her whole day. She couldn't wait to see James next.

Later that evening, Percy left Sir Handel at the Blue Mountain Quarry and went on his way home. Sir Handel returned to his shed and saw the Thin Controller looking disappointed, with crossed arms as the small blue engine with special wheels backed into his shed, then stopped.

"Well, Sir Handel. I must say, it's very fortunate that the parade still turned out very nicely, thanks to Molly's little plan, but all the same, you've been a very naughty engine! There is nothing wrong with pulling trucks and being patient! They are both of utmost importance! I hope I can trust you to behave when you next come out of this shed!"

After hearing that, all Sir Handel could do was sit and think in complete silence and stillness.

By the time the sun disappeared and the stars began to appear through the sky, Molly made her way back to Crovan's Gate...and to her delight, James was right there waiting for her outside her shed. He looked very pleased to be here again with her. Molly came closer until she buffered up to her Radiant Ruby.

"Good evening, James. My Radiant Ruby," she beamed.

"Good evening to you, Molly, my Shining Sun," James replied. "So. We both took part in today's Gymkhana...and you practically saved it after Sir Handel almost ruined it. Oh, Molly, I absolutely adore your ingenuity!"

"Thank you, James," said Molly. "I'm also happy to have spent that parade with you. It's been quite a while since our previous encounter, and seeing you at Vicarstown really made me feel wonderful!"

"It did?" asked James.

"Of course, James," said Molly. "I didn't know you'd be part of the parade, and it came as such a welcome surprise for me."

"Well, you're always a welcome surprise for me, Molly," James said with a wink.

"Actually, that reminds me," said James' driver. "James actually has something here for you, Molly."

James looked back, puzzled. "I...I do?"

"Oh? What might this be?" Molly asked eagerly.

"Close your eyes, Molly," said James' driver. "James will take you inside."

Molly closed her eyes and waited. James was still wondering what this was about, but he proceeded to buffer to Molly. He was coupled up and he gently pulled her inside her shed. Once they were settled inside, James saw his driver walk beside him. He showed James what he had in his hands, and James fought to hold back a gasp. But he smiled immensely as his driver approached Molly. Molly felt as though something was being held up to her.

"Open your eyes, Molly," she heard the driver say.

She did so...then gasped happily.

"Happy Gymkhana, Molly," said James' driver.

Molly's eyes glimmered and widened. James' driver had a potted plant from the parade in his hands and he placed it right on the window sill of her shed where she could see it.

"Oh...oh, James!" she gasped. "How?"

"I went and got a potted plant myself," said James' driver. "James and I thought that perhaps you should have one for your little idea after Sir Handel's mix-up."

And he turned to James and winked. James then figured it out and smiled.

"Yes...we did," he said, winking to his driver. "What do you think, Molly?"

"I love it, James! Thank you!" Molly whistled happily.

"Well, Molly," said James. "I'm very delighted to see everything work out so well for you, and for the parade. You're such a special engine to me."

"I know, James," said Molly. "The Fat Controller said I was really useful today...but I think I know as to why I was really useful."

"Why, Molly?" asked James.

"Only because Sir Handel was a very careless one!" Molly giggled.

James smiled even more at this...then decided to tell Molly a joke to help her along with the subject.

"Well, Molly. Maybe Sir Handel should take this bit of advice. How does a steam engine get so good at his or her job?"

Molly thought to herself, then looked at James again.

"By...training!" James gloated.

This made Molly laugh. She remembered the sense of humour she and James carried back when they first met, exchanging funny faces to each other. To hear James make a joke like this was simple but effective. Soon, she stopped laughing and sighed contently. Then, in that moment, she got an idea. After a slightly jumbled experience with Sir Handel, the parade had gone very well...and now that Molly was back with James again, she decided to put her reignited spark back into some session.

"Well...Jimmy. That sounds like fair advice for Sir Handel...but as for you...I trust you've had plenty of...training with me on some occasions. Would you mind if I explored your...training a little tonight? Just between us?"

James felt his heart jump as Molly's eyes narrowed and her smile grew.

"What are you suggesting, Molly?" he asked.

"Well, I did say we could spend the night here together if everything worked well...and in the end, it did. Before I explore you how I please, don't you want to...play with my lovely cheeks? Maybe tease me just a little?"

"M-Molly...I..." James uttered, not sure what else to say.

Molly leaned in and batted her eyelashes. "Go on, James. Have fun...and satisfy your lovely, yellow, steamy beauty."

James gleefully took his position and leaned in and brought his lips toward Molly's cheek, watching her smile even more. Then, very gently and surely, he brushed his lips over her skin. He started at the center of her cheek and gently traced his lips along her warm skin, feeling it become even warmer as she blushed and cooed quietly and excitedly. Then he stopped in the middle of her cheek again and began kissing her slowly, but purely. James felt such a lifting sense of pleasure as his lips became warm against Molly's soft cheek. With every kiss he placed on her cheek, she kept uttering little remarks that only drove James' jiggles in his heart further.

"Oh...Uhh...Oh, James...James...oh, that feels so nice..."

But James then changed his position and went for something else.

"Those...ooh...are those little nibbles you're giving me on my nose? Yes...oh, yes, James...play with me just like that...oh, James..."

"Yes, Molly...feel me teasing you...just the way you please," James whispered.

He then eagerly continued his intimate game with Molly. He then began to nibble the tips of her cheeks as lightly as he could, which made Molly begin to quiver a little, then she quivered more steadily as James nibbled the tip of her nose.

"Oh, Jimmy...that feels so tickly...he-he-he...oh, that tickles," she giggled and chortled away. "Tickle me, James...ooh! Ahh!"

James began to giggle a little himself as he heard Molly giggle to how his nurtures tickled her nose and cheeks. She was such a shy, dainty engine, but that's what James loved so much about her. Then he suddenly gave Molly another surprise.

"Ohh! James! Ahh!" Molly squealed as James began to lick her cheek very gently, tasting her lovely, sweet skin.

"You're so sweet, Molly," he murmured. "Do you like it?"

"Hah...ahh..." Molly breathed heavily. "James...please don't stop."

James had no thoughts at all of stopping now. He gently licked Molly's other cheek as gently as she pleased, which earned him more happy, blissful whimpers and squeals from her pretty little lips. After two minutes, Molly spoke again, shakily, but passionately.

"J-James...I...I think I'm gonna..."

"Let off steam, my Shining Sun?" James asked. "If it's your wish, let it come true, Molly."

And with that, he leaned down a little and gave Molly's chin a few quick nibbles, then a long, steady kiss. That was all she needed.

"Ooh...here I go, James!" Molly cooed as her steam hissed steadily from her wheels and she let out a big, happy sigh.

"Well, Molly...how did I do? Has my 'training' held on since our last spell together?" James asked.

Molly shut her eyes and panted a little before she looked again.

"Oh, James. Quite a while has passed...but I think you're just as lovely as you always are with me!"

And with that, she pressed her face to his and rubbed her nose with him, making him exclaim and laugh while she did. After that, she withdrew a little and they both exchanged a smile to each other for a few minutes more...until Molly changed her expression again.

"Well...you did a divine job tonight so far...it looks like it's my turn...to explore you," she said seductively.

James looked up and turned a little red in the face. "Molly...I...I feel a little..."

"Tingly? Jittery? Maybe...excited?" Molly asked sweetly.

"Well...Y-yes...I..." said James.

"Shh. Shh..." Molly soothed as she puckered her lips and pressed them softly to James' cheek and kissed it.

"You just relax, Jimmy. Let Molly make you feel as radiant as can be," she whispered.

Molly puckered her lips again, closing her eyes as she did. Then she pressed her lips to James' cheek again and began to kiss it slowly, smooching her lips nosily as she went. This made James jump and groan sharply, but passionately. Every time Molly's soft, almost fluffy lips touched his cheek and kissed it, James shook feebly as he felt the gentle, soft, flower-like sensation on his cheek. She was so gentle and feathery with how she kissed him, and somehow, that made him feel even jollier. But a few moments later, it got better.

"Ohh!" James uttered.

He could hear a light sucking sound from Molly's lips. He looked and saw she was sucking on his cheek very gently and softly with her eyes still shut. It felt amazing to James, and he had not felt anything like it for two whole springs. It was almost mind-blowing.

"M-Molly! My...my goodness!" he groaned as his eyes rolled back into his head then shut tight. Molly giggled and looked up at him.

"Is that nice and tickly, my dear?" she asked soothingly.

"Y-yes! Yes, Molly!" James whispered loudly.

"Aww, you're very sweet," she giggled. "And does this feel nice, Jimmy?"

She slowly opened her mouth and began to lick his cheek up and down. James groaned loudly again and leaned upward a little, which made Molly's tongue trail further along his cheek, which she loved dearly. She then leaned to his other cheek and licked it too, which sent such a warm, wet and intoxicating sensation into James' funnel.

"M-Molly...I love you...I l-love you...oh!" he groaned.

Molly continued to lick and suck on his cheeks for a few minutes more, which made James' face turn almost as red as his paintwork, until Molly finally stopped to let him rest. It was almost too much for James, but he didn't mind. As long as it would be spent with Molly, that was perfect enough for him.

"Did you like that, James? Did you like having me explore you a little?" Molly asked sweetly.

"Ohh...Molly...I loved every instant of it," he uttered. "But you're what I love above all else, and I always will."

"I love you, James," she whispered as she kissed him on his cheek again.

"I love you too, Molly," he whispered back, pecking her cheek with a kiss too.

And with that, they both gazed even deeper into each other's eyes. They pressed their faces together and let their lips collide into a deep, deep kiss. Their lips moved and writhed warmly together, sending a jolt of warmth and tingle through both their boilers, feeling their hearts beat heavily together and their minds slipping only into each other and nothing else. James and Molly knew in their deepening kiss that their reignited passion still lingered on, no matter how long they were apart from each other, and as their kiss became a little more fiery, feeling their tongues begin to dance and worship each other, nothing could ruin their time together now.

At last, about an hour later, James and Molly's kissing slowed down and they gazed into each other's eyes, feeling happily spent after all they had done after another long time apart from each other. Their boilers felt lovely and warm as they basked in the afterglow of their lovemaking this evening, and they would continue to spend it together until the following morning.

James leaned in and touched his face to Molly's.

"Happy Gymkhana, Molly," he murmured. "I loved every moment tonight."

"Thank you, James," Molly replied sweetly. "I loved tonight infinitely...and I love you too...so much, my Radiant Ruby."

"Just as I love you, my Shining Sun," James replied. "Sweet dreams, Molly."

"Sweet dreams, Jimmy," Molly yawned.

And with that, James and Molly kissed once more and fell into another night's slumber together. It was such a lovely time for the two of them, and through whatever times they spent together, they would make the absolute best out of every moment there would be.

Another James and Molly story, based on the annual story "Edward Saves the Day" only giving Molly the spotlight instead of Edward. Also, this story takes place when Thomas is in Brazil in Series 23, hence why he's not in this story. Next time we're FINALLY after almost three years going to doing another Percy and Gina story for Valentine's Day, the first of multiple Percy and Gina stories for this year. Until then, tell us what you thought of this story, and we'll see you next time. Stay safe.
