Author's Note: So I wanna apologize first of all. I know this is supposed to be a World Tour, but the first three episodes are set in the US. There was actually a fourth one in canon, but I changed it to another place it could reasonably be located. Anyway, I hope you enjoy today's episode.

TRIGGER WARNING: Past physical abuse toward minors mentioned in this chapter

Disclaimer: I don't own Total Drama, the shuffled concept or the (most of) the characters.

And to answer some reviews:

BaseballCapClyde: Thanks. It's weird to think I'm eight seasons into this little project. Rebecca was an obvious first boot, but those are to be expected in season like this. Funny thing about Scott, in an early draft of the season, he actually was meant to be here as the first boot. A mistake from canon All-Stars was the mostly unlikable cast. I wanted to avoid that in both of my versions. No joke, Topher is this season's big bad.

OmniUIShaggyOverexaggerated: Glad you liked Rebecca's back-to-back karma. I think I've come up with a very good way of villainy for Topher, remains to be seen however. Yeah, Olivia is crushing on Contessa hard. As for whether Contessa's open to a relationship, you'll see.

Irrelevant User: The Race isn't postponed, it's just not recieving regular updates. And yes, it's going to be odd writing two versions of Geoff, because as you can tell he's very different here than he is in the Race. Well I did kinda set up the teams from day one. And Geoff's Captain Hollywood persona isn't gonna last the whole season, he'll come back to his senses soon. You know, I'm actually having a hard time deciding who's more unlikable between Rebecca and Matthew. If you're that curious about Topher's methods, I talk about it in the post script. It may be a little similar to what others have done but there's honestly only so many ways you get get people eliminated in this game. When I say they're surpringly complex, I was talking about the trauma they've suffered. It's gonna be hard balancing that with the fact that this is supposed to be a light-hearted show, and that I can't let their plot overtake the whole story. But still be done in a way that's hopefully not offensive. So it's complicated purely from my perspective I guess.

Derick Lindsey: All the non all-stars expect for two Danger Island cast members will return fro Redemption. Glad you liked Rebecc'as Chris bucks gag. I figured Chris would give all the losers something to replace the non all-stars picking them up thing. In truth, I was planning on Dawn/Contessa and Olivia/Justin, but another reviewer made me rethink that and I realized that those two relationships were kinda stale. And since the comment was about Olivia's sudden ability to be nice to Contessa, and the ideas just coming nonstop, I changed the plan. I have some, what I think, pretty good ideas for Topher. You're gonna love him as much as you hate him. I wasn't gonna not do Ozzy, it's my second favorite Owen pairing after Kitten. Geoff will eventually get his head straight, but it won't have anything to so with Chris. I noticed a few reviewers thinking Dave and Britney would be in this season, which is why I said that. Ugh, don't remind me that I missed out on Dave and Owen friendship. Easily the biggest missed opportunity in the Shuffledverse. As for who goes next, only one way to find out.

TheChrisanthemum: Well if I remember correctly, you weren't the only one who thought Dave and or Britney would be in this season. And I'm glad you liked Rebecca as the first boot.

Crosshot: I'm still writing the Race, it's just not going to have regular updates. I can't help but feel like I've read a story where Topher was the big bad, but that may just be the Mandela Effect at work. I briefly wanted her to last long enough to cause some more trouble for Olivia, but I literally could not think of a better first boot. I think you won't be dissapointed by the Olivessa plot this season. And Sky's last name is Blacksmith in this story.

Zevoros: The casts are fitting together a lot better than I expected actually. Thanks for your input on Olivessa. And don't worry, I'm not great at reviews either. Heck I'm actually kinda bad at answering them.

Gucci Mane LaFlare: Those three the big ones who I want to 'fix' from canon. And to be fair Courtney agreed with B begrudgingly. So it's totally in character.

KittyCat: Welcome to the reviews! Okay, I'm going crazy. I know there's at least one fic of Topher being the main bad guy but I can't remember it to save my life. All I can say about the teams is to remember these are the best players from the past two seasons. I can promise a happily ever after for Olivessa. I'm not gonna break someone twice.

LazloVader9943: I noticed not a lot of people like Rebecca. I wonder why that is..? And this isn't the last we'll see of her. There's the finale for the season and the final season which is nothing but people who reached the Final Two. And she's not gonna team up with Matthew. She wanna kill anyone, maim perhaps or seriously injure, but certainly not kill.

That British Guy: Thanks for your input :)

Guest: You're one of the few people who consider that a shocking first boot. I can't help but feel I'm not the first person to make Topher the main baddie. But I can't remember where else I've seen it. Well, I just took the top eigth places from both seasons and put them in here. I'd be more surprised if you got some wrong. Well, even if I did misinterpret your comment, I'm glad you made it. My previous plan for those two I see now would not have worked. I still can't think of anyway to do the Dawn/Contessa relationship I had planned originally without it being .. not good.

Guest#2: Thanks. I never really saw Rebecca's elimination is a surprising. I have many good ideas and plans for Topher's villainy. There's equal excitement when it comes to Gatie and Olivessa. It's just Olivessa relies a lot on backstory and I've never done that before. You'll see what I mean going forward.

Remaining All-Stars:

Heroic Horses: B, Brick, Contessa, Dawn, Izzy, Jasmine, Mitch, Owen

Villainous Vipers: Courtney, Geoff, Justin, Katie, Olivia, Terrance, Topher

Lights! Camera! All-Stars!

Episode 02: Fifteen Minutes of Shame

"Last time, on Total Drama!" Chris opened, the series' capstone theme opening up over a shot of the Jumbo Jet in flight. "I welcomed the All-Stars to the newly rebuilt Total Drama Jumbo Jet," the host said, the recap montage starting off a montage of the all-stars reintroductions.

"Then, it was Heroes versus Villains," the sixteen teens were shown in the common area, then standing with their new teammates – first the Horses, then the Vipers, "scouring the shores and jungles of Hawaii," Dawn, Izzy, and Owen then Courtney, Katie, and Geoff were shown looking for lava rocks, "to create a suitable sacrifice," Justin and Rebecca, and Mitch, Jasmine, and B were shown hunting boars, "to toss into an active volcano in order to win first class!" The first class cabin was shown.

"Thanks to Rebecca," the rebel was shown arguing silently mocking Contessa, "we learned that Contessa still isn't over her previous humiliation." The hopeless romantic was shown crying in a bush, then being comforted by Olivia. "Unsurprisingly, the Villains butted heads the entire challenge," Courtney and Rebecca were shown arguing, followed by Courtney confronting Geoff, and Terrance's mild annoyance at Olivia. "Which led to Brick and the Heroic Horses claiming victory," Chris finished as the cadet tossed his teams sacrifice into the lava, followed by the rest of the Heroes celebrating.

"And so it was no surprise that the Villainous Vipers bid farewell to their most heartless member," Katie was shown receiving the final marshmallow of the night to Rebecca's shock and fury, "via our latest and legally-enforced method of elimination!" The recap cut to the rebel being grabbed by Chef, then tossed out of the plane, and Rebecca being beaned in the head with a silver briefcase. "The Toss of Shame!"

"Who will be next to recieve an escort from Sargent Hatchet?" the host asked the camera after the montage cut away to him and Chef in the cockpit of the plane, the two men wearing their pilots' uniforms from third season. "Find out, right now, on Total! Drama! All-Stars! 2!"

[The sequence opens exactly as it did in season three, with a tilted shot of a stagelight swinging up and turning on in front of an airport control tower, followed by another light popping out of an overhead compartment along with a pair of oxygen masks; then a camera forcibly ejecting a raccoon from a wing engine and another camera bursting out of a suitcase, sending undergarments flying. A pair of white-skinned arms clap a film slate in front of the camera, which then flies down the aisle of first class seats. It passes a drink cart, then forces Chris McLean to jump to the side as the camera flies into the cockpit.]

Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doin' fine;

[Chef Hatchet is piloting the plane in its cockpit, bobbleheads of himself and the host sitting on the control panel. For a single frame he turns his head and glares at the camera before it passes through the windshield and out onto the runway, the silhouette of the CN Tower visible in the distance as the camera flies over and through several baggage tugs.]

You guys are on my mind!

[Fading through the whiteness of a baggage cart, the camera emerges close to the CN Tower. The camera flies up along it, the sun shining bright at its peak. The scene arcs downward towards a lake, and speeds forward into it with a splash.]

Ya asked me what I wanted to be,

[The bubbles from the splash fade to show Owen floating underwater seemingly naked. He notices his swim trunks float past him and covers his crotch with a blush on his face, and the camera pans up to the surface.]

And now I think the answer is plain to see!

[On the roof of the cabin of a boat woven from reeds, Dawn is meditating in lotus position.]

I wanna be...famous!

[The camera pans down and to the right to where Olivia is frantically paddling the boat as crocodiles leap out of the water on either side and snap their jaws. The boat leaves the screen, and on 'be' one of the reptiles winces; the camera moves back to the boat, revealing that it had crashed into an inflatable raft that Contessa was standing on. The raft begins to sink, and Olivia quickly grabs her into a fierce hug. The two girls blush and separate just as quickly.]

I wanna live close to the sun!

[The camera flashes to the a snow-capped mountain, immediately cutting to the top it as Brick climbs up from the side, then wipes the sweat from his brow as he helps Courtney reach the summit.]

Well pack your bags, 'cause I've already won!

[The couple stop with shock on their faces as Izzy suddenly runs past. The wildcard blindly runs straight into Jasmine, and the two tumble off the other side of the mountain.]

Everythin' to prove,

[The camera quick-pans to Mitch standing in an open field on Pahkitew Island. He catches Jasmine in his amrs and gently sets her down, and she kisses him on the cheek as Izzy lands on the ground behind them.]

Nothin' in my way; I'll get there one day.

[Another pan to the right shows Topher watching with a devious expression. He rubs his hands in anticipation, only for a furry paw to quickly tap him on the shoulder. The camera pans to Scuba Bear glaring at the instigator, who promptly runs away. On the bear's other side, Terrance begins to laugh...]

'Cause I wanna be...famous!

[...Scuba Bear then turns to glare at Terrance instead, even roaring at the boy and chasing him off. The camera zooms in on a mountain in the background, and flashes over to Geoff and Katie walking down the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The party dude turns to the right and screams and the two run away, a large number of fans chasing them away.]

(Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa)

[Justin and B were next, the genius driving a speedboat and the model waterskiing behind him. They speed up and out of frame and the camera shakes for a moment. The shot pans to the right to show that the boys had ran into another speedboat driven by Sasquatchanakwa, Justin now face-down in his and B's boat. The yeti makes a hand gesture that had to be censored and the camera pans up to the sky.]

I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous! (Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa)

[The jet flies right past a Mayan pyramid, causing whole structure to fall apart; the jet flies over Cristo Redentor in Rio de Janero, startling a priest into crossing himself; the jet flies trough the air and the camera pans down.]

I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous! (Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa)

[The pan ends on a zoomed out shot of the swim-dressed all-stars lined up on eight platforms according to their teams – the villains holding red dueling sticks on the left of each platform, the heroes holding gold dueling sticks on the right. The camera zooms in and moves between them as they clash – smirking Courtney against smirking Brick; smug Topher being shoved in the water by a smiling Mitch; vain Justin holding off a confused Owen with one hand as he admired his own reflection in a hand mirror; Geoff thrusting eagerly but being easily blocked by an unimpressed Jasmine; Katie smirking darkly as she easily knocked Dawn into the water; Olivia being knocked away by a maniacally grinning Izzy; Terrance evenly matched with B, both boys smirking competitively; and Rebecca evilly smirking as she slammed her stick against a terrified Contessa, the top pieces of the padding suddenly catching fire and making both girls look up in surprise.]

[The lyrics end and a guitar is strummed as the camera zooms in on the two flames as they flare together, and the last few whistling notes play. The fires peter out to show the cast lined up and most of them smiling at the camera, the jet behind them. Mitch is on the far left end; to the right are Jasmine, B, Owen, Terrance, Geoff, Justin, Topher and Rebecca. In front of them are Dawn, Olivia, Contessa, Katie, Courtney, and Brick. Rebecca has her back turned to the camera as the song ends, spray-painting a '2' at the end of the 'Total Drama All-Stars' logo on the side of the jet, then turns and winks at the camera.]

XXXX

A short, dull note opened the episode as the camera followed the jumbo jet as it flew through the air. The scene cut inside to show Terrance stretching his arms and sitting up on the bench along the left wall, then crack his back and rub it in irritation. "Ugh, I hate loser class," he complained. "This dump makes me miss the cabins last season!"

"At least you got real beds," Justin chimed in, the camera panning to the left to show him sitting next to Terrance. "I thought we had it bad on Pahkitew, but knowing there's a luxury cabin we could've been staying in just makes it worse."

"Today, we're winning no matter what," Terrance said, slamming his fist against the bench. The small amount of force was just enough to send the whole bench crashing against the floor, and the camera zoomed out to show Topher and Geoff were sitting there as well.

"And there goes any chance we had of sleeping in," Topher sighed as he and the other boys extracted themselves from the wreckage.

"Bummer dudes," Geoff sighed as he looked at the wrecked bench.

The camera panned to the right to the other side of the cabin, where Katie and Courtney were sitting. Oddly, Olivia was nowhere to be seen.

"I should've known Chris would cheap out of essential needs," Courtney said with a roll of her eyes.

"Okay guys," Katie told her present team members. "We had a bad start, but I'm sure we can turn this around if we just work together like Geoff was talking about yesterday. So who's ready to try again?"

"I'm perfectly willing to work as a team," Courtney replied, crossing her arms with a haughty look on her face, "as long as I'm the leader."

"Whatever," Geoff scoffed as he stormed out, "I'm going to get some chow."

Katie watched him leave, then sighed.

XXX

"I only agreed to come back so I could have another shot with Geoff," Katie said before her sad look morphed into something irritated, "...and because of my contract, but mostly Geoff," she said sadly. "But he hates pretty much anything villainous and some fansites call me our season's main villain!"

She sighed again. "I made a mistake and got lost. Why should I have to keep being punished for it?"

XXX

"Just...give him some time..." Courtney suggested as the camera followed them to the dining area. "I'm sure he'll come around." They sat down at one of the tables and she asked Geoff, "So what's for breakfast?"

"Dry cereal," the party dude told her as he took aother spoonful of his breakfast.

"Well at least we get food this time," Courtney sighed as she and Katie started eating. With a sharp spike in the music, she widened her eyes and spat out her spoonful. "It's stale! We've got to win the next challenge and get into first class!"

\

The scene cut to the first class cabin as the opening bars of a classy and classical music piece began to play. "Now this is some good grub," Mitch said in delight from his spot at the meeting table. Off to the left side was banquet table bearing several large fruits and other breakfast foods. "Probably the best I've had in years!" the cowboy said after swallowing another of his sausages.

"Did you guys catch the in-flight movie?" Izzy asked eagerly, the shot focusing in on her and her tall stack of syrup-covered pancakes. "Explosive Space War VII is the best in the series, I can't believe I haven't seen it yet."

"Yeah, I heard that one was banned in Canada on account of all those folks losin' their hearin'," Mitch said, the camera cutting back to him as an attractive tan-skinned flight attendant laid another plate filled with sausages and fruit on the table in front of the chair next to him. "But as long as we keep winnin', we'll have all the good food and movies we can ask for! That bein' said, we can't afford to get lazy," he said, taking a sip of orange juice and nodding knowingly as Jasmine sat down next to him. "The moment we think we're safe is the moment we're in the most danger. Right, Jas?" he asked his girlfriend.

"Huh?" the girl said in a distracted tone, looking up at her boyfriend. "Oh, yeah, right. Can't get too comfortable."

"Somethin' wrong Sugarcube?" Mitch asked, raising a brow.

Jasmine murmured vaguely. "I'm just thinking about how Contessa's doing, that's all."

\

The camera cut to the cargo hold, and panned across the myriad of boxes as a sad tune and a soft crying filled the air. The camera stopped on a corner and zoomed in to show Contessa hiding behind a large box, the source of the crying.

She sighed and slammed her fist against the box. "What's wrong with me?" she asked to herself. "Why am I still crying all the time? Why can't she just get out of my head?"

She sighed again and slumped to the ground, and was immediately startled by another voice. "Is everything okay?" Olivia asked, stepping back when Contessa shrieked and stood up. "Sorry," she said sheepishly. "I just heard someone crying and thought it might be you and-"

"Because I'm so pathetic I have to be the source of any crying on this plane?" Contessa interrupted, her arms crossed in offence.

"No!" Olivia said suddenly. "I just remembered you said you weren't over what happened last year and I wanted to help." She held her hands up in a platating gesture. "I swear!"

Contessa sighed and dropped her arms, then narrowed her eyes in suspicion. "Wait a minute, I hid pretty deep in the hold. So how did you manage to hear me?"

Her only response was a look of sheer panic.

\

"I'm just concerned that Rebecca affected her more than she let on," Jasmine said, the scene cutting from Olivia's panicked expression to the amazon skewering a sausage with her fork. "I hate to say it, but it could make her a liability to us. Plus I wouldn't feel right keeping her here with all the reminders of what happened."

"I wouldn't worry about it," Owen told her from his seat next to Izzy. "Contessa's a strong-willed person. She's not gonna let that witch mess with her shot at the money."

"Well if she is still upset," Brick countered, the camera panning to the left of Jasmine to show the cadet eating a plate of steak and bacon, "then it's our duty as her teammates to help her."

"I guess," Jasmine sighed, swallowing her own mouth full of food. "It's just, last season I let my personal feelings about someone's situation get in the way of the game and we all paid for it. Contessa kinda reminds me of that right now, and that makes it hard to trust her."

"Her aura does have a lot of blue in it," Dawn spoke up, startling her team as she enjoyed a fruit salad from her spot on the other side of Owen. B sent her a concerned glance from his spot next to her and she continued. "But I don't think it will affect her performance in challenges."

"Can we not talk about this?" Owen asked right before shoveling food into his mouth at a pace that made the Jasmine and Dawn smile awkwardly.

"Besides it doesn't matter if we can keep winning," Dawn told her teammates.

"Fair point ma'am," Mitch nodded.

"I suppose...," Jasmine said uncertainly.

\

The scene cut back to the cargo hold, Olivia still looking panicked while Contessa had crossed her arms and was tapping her foot impatiently.

"Are you gonna answer me anytime soon?" Contessa asked.

Olivia sighed. "Fine," she said. "I was looking for a place to do something where my teammates wouldn't bother me."

"Which is...?" the hopeless romantic asked. "I mean don't get me wrong, I get the need to be alone, but what you almost kinda seemed scared. What could possibly freak you out?"

"Well the thing is..." Olivia started. "I need to apply this," she handed Contessa a tube of disinfecting cream. "And if the other Villains see it, then suddenly I'm a liability and I'll get voted off. That can't happen again."

"Uhh, okay?" Contessa said hesitantly. "But what d-OH MY GOD!" she jumped back in shock as the actress turned around and lifted up her sweater. Her back was covered in bruises and nasty scars in various states of healing.

"Would you be quiet?!" Olivia hissed as she let her sweater down and turned to face Contessa. "Do you want the whole plane to see us together in here?"

"No...," the hopeless romantic said, still taken aback. "But I dont- What happened to you?"

"Daddy wasn't happy I came home without the million," the actress explained. "So I got punished."

"Your dad did this to you?!" Contessa exclaimed again. "Where was you mom in all this?"

"Holding me down so I couldn't get away," Olivia explained simply.

To her surprise, Contessa launched herself around the actress and could be heard sniffling. "I'm so sorry you have to go through this..." she said as the camera cut to a close-up of her face, her eyes were clenched shut but a few tears still escaped.

"It's fine," Olivia said as the camera cut to her close-up, showing her looking shocked with a furious blush on her face. "I'm used to it..."

"That's the problem," Contessa was heard saying. "You shouldn't have to be used to it. I swear I'm gonna help you any way I can..."

XXX

"I hate telling people about my parents," Olivia told the confessional. "Anytime a hint of it comes out all I get is pity and people walking on eggshells so they don't upset me." Her face softened. "But Contessa promised to help me, and I actually believe her." She sighed and smiled. "She really is amazing..."

XXX

"I can't believe how selfish I've been," Contessa confessed. "Here I am going on and on about being dumped and Olivia's been through so much worse!" She gave the camera a fierce glare. "I don't care if we are on different teams, I'm going to help her... as soon as I figure out how to actually do that..."

"Maybe I should give her more hugs," she suggested. "'Cause that one didn't feel horrible actually," she said with a guilty smile.

XXX

"Attention, all-stars!" Chris announced over the plane's intercom. "We're beginning our decent into our next destination!" The shot cut back to the girls. "Get your hineys to the elimination chamber, pronto!" Olivia and Contessa separated from each other slightly and frowned.

"Well, guess we better get going," Contessa said.

"Yeah," Olivia said, awkwardly rubbing the back of her neck. Contessa finally let go of her and left the shot, and the camera lingered on Olivia as she sighed.

\

The shot cut to the season's world map, the airplane symbol flying from Hawaii towards the Southwestern coast of the United States, to a tense tune playing.

\

The music turned glitzy and grandiose as the footage cut to the Hollywood sign, then flashed to the top of an art-deco style skyscraper. The shot panned down to the cast in front of the building's entrance: the Horses on the left, the Vipers on the right, and Chris in the middle.

"Welcome to Los Angeles!" Chris told the cast with a grand gesture, the team symbols floating into place above them. "This place is the second most prolific creator of movies in the entire world. Which is why your challenges today will feature the three sides of movie productions."

The camera cut to the Villains as Olivia and Topher shared a look. "Uh, I grew up here and I'm pretty sure there's only two sides to movie making," the actress spoke up.

"Nope," Chris said, "There's the actors, the producers and directors, and the assistants whose job is to make life easier for the other two! Now, follow me to the location of today's first challenge!"

The host walked off to the right, and the camera lingered as the cast just stood there. Brick shrugged and walked after the host, followed by the rest of the Heroes, then Courtney, then the rest of the Villains.

\

"Okay," Chris said quickly as the footage cut the inside of what looked like a high-end coffee shop. "Today's first challenge is all about the assistants who work tirelessly to keep a movie production running smoothly," He smiled and walked over to two tables, one had a small picture frame with the headshot of each of the Villains and the other eight drinks of various types

"Since a large part of being an assistant is getting drinks for people you don't like," he said as the cast was shown in front of the cash resister separated by teams. To their right were two more tables one with seven drinks of various types on it and the other with pictures of the Heroes, "your challenge is to match the favorite drink to the all-star on the opposite team!"

"What's the catch?" Mitch asked.

"None this time," Chris answered. "Just put the drink in front of the photo of the person you think considers it their favorite. Once you think you have the right set-up just tell me and Ill confirm if you've got it. First team to finish gets an advantage in the second challenge."

"And here I thought he'd add some insane twist," Terrance said in a deadpan tone.

"Shut up," Courtney ordered. "Don't give him any ideas."

"Plus we don't know what the other challenge even is," Katie said.

The camera quick-panned back down to the host as the background music began to build. "On your marks!" Chris called through his megaphone, the Villains making a mad dash to the table with the eight drinks. "Get set! Go!" Courtney picked up orange and milky in one hand and a white placard in the other, while Owen and Izzy of the Horses were also seen making a dash to pick something up.

"Wait!" Brick commanded immediately, the shot changing to show him standing between his seven teammates and the table containing the Villains' drinks, the remaining Horses freezing in their tracks.

"We need a plan," their unofficial leader quickly explained. "Let's work together to figure out each drink one at a time. That'll lessen the chances of us messing up and we can win the challenge. Everyone agree?"

The two tallest Heroes exchanged a look and Mitch shrugged, "Sure as heck beats runnin' around like a chicken with its head cut off," he said.

"Wait, that's a real thing?" Izzy asked the cowboy. "That is so awesome!"

"And more than a little disgusting," Contessa added with a grimace.

B nodded his agreement.

"Guys," Jasmine interrupted. "Focus. The drinks?"

"Got it!" Owen nodded, grabbing a cup that looked like it came from a popular chain of coffee houses.

"Right!" Izzy added, running over to Owen and picking up the placard.

Jasmine nodded as she watched them go off, then joined the rest of her team in crowding the redhead and optimist.

\

The scene flashed over to Terrance and Courtney, who were at the end of the table with Heroes' drinks. "So what exactly is the strategy here, Noble Leader?" the basketballer asked mockingly. Behind them, Katie could be seen arguing with Justin and forcing a placard in his hand, Topher tasted something from a white mug and promptly spat it out, while Olivia stood and glanced around at the table and Geoff looked at them all while rolling his eyes.

"Let's just get the drinks to the other table first," the prep answered, "then we can worry about matching them."

\

A skip forward showed the Villains having placed the opposing team's drinks in a cluster in front of Owen's picture, then panned to the right to show Jasmine holding up the cup Owen had earlier. Courtney smirked to herself before turning her attention back to her team.

"First up we have this weird stuff that kinda tastes like flowers," Geoff said as Courtney rejoined the Vipers.

"What does the placard say?" Courtney asked.

"Jasmine Tea," Katie said. "But I don't even know what that is, let alone who would drink it."

"It's probably either Dawn, because she seems like a flower child," Topher spoke up, "or Mitch because the name reminds him of Jasmine."

"Could it actually be Jasmine?" Geoff asked.

"Nah," Terrance waved him off. "Girl's not enough of a narcissist for that. I'm bankin' on Dawn myself."

"Then put it in front of Dawn's picture and let's keep going," Courtney ordered.

"Despite a slow start," Chris announced via voice-over, "it looks like the Vipers have taken the lead. If they can get those drinks sorted out quick enough, they'll win!"

\

"Hey what about this one?" Izzy asked as the camera cut to her bringing her team's attention to a cup filled with an ominously bubbling murky liquid.

"The card says it's a mix of Red Ram energy drink, Mutant Energy Drink, and Jumpstart energy drink," Jasmine read with a wince. "Okay so no one should try-" she looked up to see that Izzy had taken a big gulp of the mixture, "NOOOO!"

The Heroes all stopped in their tracks to carefully watch Izzy, who'd been unresponsive after drinking. Her pupils shrink to the size of a pin point and she started vibrating.

"We may want..." Dawn said slowly, "to step back..." The rest of the team followed her instructions.

The camera cut to Izzy as she continued to vibrate, and steam came out of her ears as the music got hectic and quirky. "OhmygoshthatwassogoodIcan'tbelieveanyonewouldthinkofthisImayneedtorethinkmyfavoritedrinkTHISISTHEBESTHINGEVER!" she said quickly, raising her arms up for the last bit.

"Uh Izzy..." Owen said slowly. "You okay?"

"Yep!" Izzy said quickly. "In fact, I feel like I can go on for-" she promptly passed out and hit the ground with a painful sounding thud that made her teammates wince.

"So..." Contessa asked. "Do we keep going or..."

"I think that would be best," Dawn answered. "Also, I'm confident in claiming that that drink belongs to Geoff."

XXX

"She called that a drink?" Mitch scoffed. "That seemed more like a heart attack in a glass to me."

XXX

The background music switched between quirky and hectic to just hectic as the focus went from the Horses to the Vipers and then back again. The Vipers, despite their hustle, seemed to be losing morale as they – rather unsurprisingly– continued to argue among themselves as they tried to complete the challenge.

Despite one of their members being out of commission, the Horses seemed to having a much easier time of their challenge. The camera cut to Jasmine as she handed off a coffee cup to Owen, a brown frothy drink to B, a fizzy pink beverage to Brick, a dark red drink to Dawn, a clear cup filled with something light brown and covered in whipped cream to Contessa, before taking the energy drink mixture over herself.

"Done!" Jasmine turned around in shock after hearing Courtney's voice.

"So are we!" Contessa called out.

"Let me check the villains first since they called out first," Chris said as the Vipers began to cheer. "Let's see..." He glanced at the placards in front of the drinks in front of the photos, then shook his head. "You've got all but two right."

"What?!" Courtney asked in outrage.

The host ignored her and walked over to the Heroes, inspecting their drinks as well. "You've got..." he paused to draw out the tension. "Seven out of seven. Which means the Heroic Horses take the first challenge!"

The Horses celebrated their victor and the camera cut to the Vipers all groaning and complaining about their defeat.

"Will Izzy recover from epic crash?" the host asked the camera as the capstone theme played in the background. "Or will the Heroic Horses be forced to go on without her? And honestly," he chuckled, "will it even matter if they will? Find out how the villains manage to botch another challenge, after the break." He winked at the camera.

The episode returned to a shot a a nondescript film studio. "It's time to make a movie!" Chris announced as the camera zoomed in on one of the buildings. The scene cut to the top, where the host himself stood in front of the Heroic Horses and a fully-constructed set of what looked like a classroom – a large wooden desk stood in front of a black board and about ten smaller desks in rows of five filled the rest of the set. "And what we have here," Chris continued, "is the set for a high school romance. Starring, two best friends who are secretly in love with each other but are afraid to confess!"

"Great," Contessa said to herself in an irritated tone. "Nothing I love more than a good romance."

Jasmine didn't say anything, but the raised eyebrow implied she'd heard the remark.

"Well there went our chances of winning," Courtney said from in front of a red-curtained window, her eyes fixed on the Heroes.

"Um hello?" Olivia objected, the camera zooming out slightly to show her standing near a green armchair. "I'm a professional actress."

The shot changed to show Chris' back as he faced the Vipers, who were on a set of their own – with a desk set in front of the window and armchair and a maroon couch on the righthand wall, the fake room had a darker and more masculine feel to it. "You'll be making a feature about a private investigator," the host told them, "who just found out his client is the culprit." The camera angle switched, showing the handsome man directly as he spoke to the team of seven, then focusing back on the Vipers themselves, looking largely unimpressed.

"How...unoriginal..." Topher said dryly.

"Never thought I'd hear the day where you insulted McLean," Terrance said.

XXX

"Last year I pulled off one of the season's better schemes and got Scott sent home," Topher told the camera. "But I was a bit.. preoccupied with my other goals. Not this time," he declared. "It's time to show these folks just how villainous I can be," he said with a dark and oddly charming grin.

XXX

"Remember, both teams will be responsible for writing, filming and editing their films," Chris said as the footage cut back, showing the host and Chef standing in between the two sets, Brick and Courtney standing nearby at the edge of their respective sets. "Chef!" the host said with a grin as he turned to his assistant, who held a pair of large manilla envelopes in his hands. "Give the teams their instructions!"

The hulking man shoved one of the envelopes into Brick's arms, and he opened it with an uncertain look. "Uhh, okay, so we're gonna need a male and female lead," he said, pulling a sheet of paper halfway out and reading it. The camera panned over to the seven other Horses, with Izzy, Dawn, and Jasmine as the central focus, the former of which was smiling.

"Acting isn't really one of my skills," Jasmine said immediately.

"I...do not think I can act," Dawn added in a close-up. "Sorry."

"Oooooh," Izzy said, jumping up and down in excitement, "You guys should totally let me do it! I've been reincarnated like hundreds of tims and I'm sure one of them had to be an actor!"

"Well, I guess if nobody has any objections," Brick said brightly, smiling after he received no complaints. "Now all we need is another lead."

"Owen," Contessa said immediately. "We know he and Izzy hit it off yesterday."

"Uh..." the optimist said hesitantly. "If you guys are sure..."

"Me an' Sugarcube can work with the lighting," Mitch volunteered. "Unless you have any objections ma'am," he looked to Jasmine.

"No, that fits our strengths," she chuckled, gesturing up to emphasize their great heights.

"B will work with the sound," Dawn said, "and Brick can be our make-up artist."

"Now Contessa just needs to write the script and were good," Brick said.

"That's not gonna happen," the girl in question said immediately. "I've given up on romance. Let me do the editing and Dawn can write."

Jasmine scowled as the hopeless romantic walked away, but the Heroes offered no objections.

\

"Based on our set, I'd say this is a forties' era piece," Courtney as she looked from her team's papers to the set, Olivia and Katie standing nearby. "Also it notes that this doesn't end with the couple together."

"Sounds like we need a tough guy then. So... I guess we go with whoever is toughest?" Katie asked before the camera panned over to Justin, Topher, Geoff, and Terrance.

"Well count me out," the basketballer said. "If this is set in the forties I can't really be a PI." He made a show of gesturing to the back of his hand.

"Are you implying black people hadn't been invented yet?" Justin asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Plus, you're the toughest guy on the team," Topher added.

"I sure as heck couldn't do it," Geoff chimed in.

Terrance opened his mouth, then shrugged. "Good points. Guess I'm the lead, who's the other one?"

"Olivia's the best choice," Courtney said, causing the actress to look smug. "Like she constantly reminds us, she used to do this for a living." Olivia huffed and Courtney smirked as the actress snatched the envelope away from her.

"Alright," Chris announced through his megaphone, "get started on your films! Whichever team Chef likes best wins the challenge."

Chef sat down in one of the chairs and put a pair of headphones on, then took out a book. As soon as the host stopped talking, he leaned in close to the camera that was on him, shrugging and reading the tome.

\

The footage skipped ahead, showing Mitch and Jasmine adjusting one of the stagelights on top of the set. The camera panned down and to the right, briefly catching a glimpse of B holding a boom mic before the shot stabilized on Izzy and Owen, the latter watching over the girl as she held her script and and looked at ehr companion with a blush.

"So..." the optimist said awkwardly. "Have you read the script yet?"

"Uh-huh," Izzy said shyly. "It's uh, really sweet and we're supposed to-"

"How's the lightning?" Owen asked suddenly, looking up at Mitch.

"It's bein' stubborn as a mule!" the cowboy replied as he adjusted the same lamp he and his girlfriend had been working on earlier. "But we just about got it!"

Izzy looked back at Owen and hid her face away from him, "So... make-up should be here soon..."

"Yep..." Owen said.

Izzy hummed a tune to herself, still trying to keep from looking at her co-star.

The camera cut over to the left, where Contessa was sighing and crossing her arms. "This isn't gonna work," she told the camera watching her, "There's no chemistry between them!"

B and Dawn were shown exchanging a worried look as they stood behind a soundboard; the genius wearing a pair of headphones.

Izzy opened her mouth for another awkward statement before Dawn slid up between them, holding her arms out to separate them.

"Friends, please," she said, "you must put aside your anxiety! I know that you both want this more than you care to admit, Owen," she looked at the boy, "your kind nature makes you a perfect fit for our male lead! And Izzy," she turned her head to the girl, "your limitless energy is your greatest strength! If you two stop thinking so much, we are certain to succeed!"

Izzy sighed and smile . "Yeah, I guess you're right..."

"Good point," Owen admitted. The two looked each other in the eyes and shot out a hand.

The music turned slightly romantic as they shook hands, the camera cutting to a close-up of a blushing Izzy, then to a blushing Owen.

"That's better," Contessa sighed in relief.

\

The scene flashed over to the Vipers, Terrance and Olivia reading over their lines while Courntey fiddled with a cord running across the stage nearby. Katie and Topher were adjusting the lights above, and Justin was practicing moving the boom mic around.

"I got some comments," the basketballer said. "These lines don't make any sense. What the heck are 'gams' anyway?"

"It's an old slang term for legs," Courtney told him, setting the cord down and standing up to look at him, "And it's not your job to question the script, just remember your lines and don't screw up. I don't have to tell you who'll take the blame if we lose."

Terrance smirked. "I'm guessing the girl who appointed herself as our leader and wrote the script?"

"Yo dudes, can I get a sound check?" Geoff asked suddenly from their team's soundboard, holding the headphones up to his ear.

"Finally," Olivia huffed. "Justin, the mic."

"Huh?" the model said, looking up as he fiddled with the boom mike cord. "Oh yeah." He swung the microphone around, but due to the way he was holding it the thing knocked into Terrance's forehead. The basketballer winced in pain, and the feedback from the impact earned a cringe from Geoff as well.

\

The scene flashed to Contessa sitting in a directors chair, B holding a camera next to her. "Aaaaaaand," she held a hand up, "action!"

The scene cut to Owen looking panicked as Izzy stormed onto the set. "What was your problem back there!" she yelled.

Owen's panicked looked quickly turned irritated. "Well excuse me if I don't feel like being third wheel to you and Derek!"

\

Another flash took the scene to the Vipers as Terrance adjusted the tie to his costume. He wore a simple grey suit with a fedora hat, his sweatband gone for the time being. "How do I look?" Olivia's voice caught his attention and he and the camera turned to see her dressed in a khaki dress that could almost be mistaken for a too short trench coat. Her hair was done up in a messy ponytail and she was wearing a fedora herself.

Terrance whistled appreciatively. "I'd make a very lecherous comment if I wasn't sure you'd slap the taste out of my mouth."

"Good call," Olivia smirked, earning a careless shrug in return.

\

The camera cut to Owen and Izzy about to lock lips when Contessa yelled out "Cut!" The two actors were stunned and awkwardly smiled at one another and the camera cut to Contessa smirking. "That's a wrap everyone!"

"Contessa," Jasmine said as she walked over, "What are you doing? Dawn wrote a kiss to end the scene."

"Yeah I know," the hopeless romantic said. "But the only instructions were for the couple to confess and get together, which was expressly stated in the script. Having it end on a kiss would have ruined the resolution."

XXX

"That and I didn't want their first kiss forced on them for a challenge," she explained. "Just because I've given up hope of finding love doesn't mean I want someone else's first kiss to be stolen..." she sighed. "That's one of the worst things you can do to a person..."

XXX

"You have five minutes left to film your scene," Chris announced from off-screen as the camera cut back to the Horses. "And thirty minutes to edit. Heroes get an extra ten."

\

"And that's a wrap!" Courtney said happily as the scene cut back to the Villains. Olivia and Terrance sighed and sat on the desk in their set.

"Alright," Topher told the others, "just leave it to me. I'll get this edited in no time."

"Thanks, dude," Geoff told him, giving him a pat on the shoulder as he walked past; other members of the team smiling confidently.

\

The camera cut to Contessa walking through an archway, stopping when she came across Topher blocking her path. "Could you maybe get out of the way?" she asked him.

The camera zoomed in on Topher's face as he grinned and cut back out as Contessa backed away. "So you're gay?"

"Uh yeah," she said, getting irritated. "You realize you're wasting time you could be editing right?"

"You ever think maybe you just haven't met the right guy yet?" he asked, leaning in.

"Yeah, I'm not unsure," she said, now visibly angry. "Look, I have no time for you or your insulting questions. Now get outta my way!"

She shoved him out of the doorway and stormed off, and the camera followed her until she walked into B.

"Sorry for slamming into you," she told him, "but I just had to get away from Topher. He was asking all sorts of questions and-" Her eyes widened and she palmed her face. "And I forgot the memory card with our film on it!" She looked up and the genius. "Do you think you could-"

He interrupted her by placing a hand on her shoulder, then nodded and walked off.

XXX

"For the record," Topher told the confessional. "I do not think Contessa's sexuality is something I can change. I just needed to keep her away from the editing booth for a while so I could make some... changes to their final product."

XXX

Topher was shown typing away at a computer, only to be startled by a tap on his shoulder. He turned around and B was standing behind him and crossing his arms with a disapproving glare.

"Alright," the instigator said. "You got me," he admitted. "I've already finished my team's film so you can go ahead and undo the stuff I did to yours," he sighed and trudged away, and B watched him leave with pursed lips before sitting down at the computer.

The footage skipped ahead to show B leaving the editing room with a grin, and the music turned ominous as Topher leaned out from behind the door and subtly slipped his hand in the genius's coat. After B left, Topher held up a memory card with a smirk.

\

The scene flashed back a large room with a movie screen sized television, the camera panning across the Heroes and the Villains as they stood together in wait.

"What took you so long?" Courtney asked Topher as the latter walked up.

"Relax!" the instigator said, ignoring the peculiar look Terrance was giving him. "I had to double check everything to make sure it was perfect."

"Well it better be good," the prep said.

"Alright," Chris said as he walked up to the front of the room, "now that you're done filming it's time to see if your hard work has paid off. Chef?"

The shot panned over to the hulking man as he pointed a remote towards an unseen projector.

"First up," the host said, "The Villainous Vipers!"

XXX

The grainy film began with a close-up of Terrance leaning over his desk when the sound of a door slamming caught his attention. He scowled and the camera cut to Olivia as she stormed in, looking desperate. "Oh Mister Tracy," she said near tears, "please tell me you have information about what happened to my husband. I just don't feel safe anymore."

The shot changed to show Terrance sneering at his client. "Yeah lady," he said in a stereotypical mobster voice, "I know who bumped off your husband."

"You do," Olivia asked as the music became tenser. "Was it the bootleggers?"

"You know," Terrance said. "There's nothin' I hate more than a broad that thinks I'm just some dumb gumshoe." He smirked as Olivia looked panicked. "Oh there was quite a bit pointin' to the bootleggers, too much in fact. Almost as if someone was tryin' to throw me off the trail."

Olivia dropped her persona and smirked. "So you figured me out huh? Who else have you told?" She asked as she reached into her purse.

"No one yet, but I've got a file on you that a number of people know to release if I get bumped off," Olivia huffed and took her hand out of her bag.

"Don't suppose I can convince you to forget this and let me walk free then," she said next, walking over to him seductively and tapping his shoulder.

"I'm not the type of man that gets swayed by a pretty dame with nice gams lady," he told her, pushing her away. "Now based on what I saw about your husband, I'd say you did a public service. Let the bootleggers take the fall, and get outta town." He looked at her. "You got one week before I show my evidence to the cops."

"Thank you," she said seriously, walking over and grabbing him again. "My husband was a cruel man and... it's good to finally be free."

"Just go before I change my mind," he said as he looked away. The camera cut in close, and when he looked back, she was gone.

\

The scene rippled to a nice looking community center, an elderly version of Terrance's character on screen looking out the window wistfully. "Mister Tracy?" he turned around and the camera cut to an elderly version of Olivia's character and back to a smirking Terrance.

"Well if it isn't the dame with the nice gams..." he chuckled.

XXX

"That was perfect!" Topher declared in excitement as the footage cut back to him and his teammates in the viewing room.

"Of course it was," Olivia scoffed as she crossed her arms. "I was in it."

"Settle down Vipers," Chris interjected with a scowl, "Next up, the Heroic Horses!"

"You're gonna love it," Contessa said as the camera cut to the eight members of the team, all smiling confidently.

Chris raised an eyebrow at them, then turned to the screen as it cut to static.

XXX

For some reason, the video started already in-progress with a shaky shot of a single Owen as he said "...not like you care anyway."

There was a bout of static, and an off screen Izzy shouted "...you! You Idiot!" as part of her arm raised out entered the shot.

Another abrupt scene change put the focus on Izzy's face as it softened from a glare, she moved her mouth, but no sound came out.

The last shot of the video was Izzy and Owen's almost kiss just as Contessa's voice yelled out "Cut!"

XXX

"Yeah," Chris told Team Chris with an unamused look on his face, "I definitely didn't love it."

"What was that?!" Jasmine hissed in disbelief at Contessa as the rest of their team gaped – as did most of the Villains.

"I don't know!" Contessa answered with panic and confusion in her voice. "That's not what I edited. Maybe B dropped the card and the file got corrupted?"

B frantically shook his head in denial.

"Save the excuses," Chris told him before looking at his assistant. "Well, Chef? Who bit the biggest?"

"Uhh," Chef said with a contemplative glare, "those guys." He pointed at the Heroes, who hung their heads in shame. "Your editing was terrible. You lose!" he declared with a fierce expression as ominous chanting music welled up in the background. "You're sending someone home! Tonight!"

"Aww man," Owen sighed as the rest of his team voiced their disappointment.

"First class is ours!" Courtney cried in triumph as the camera cut to the Villains celebrating the win.

\

The scene faded forward to nightfall, the elimination theme opening up over the a shot of the jumbo jet on the runway of an average looking airport, the Hollywood sign visible in the distance. "Welcome Horses!" Chris greeted the losers, the shot cutting to the eight all-stars sitting in the bleachers - Izzy, Owen, and Contessa in the bottom row and Dawn, B, Mitch, Jasmine, and Brick in the top. "After managing to snag defeat from the jaws of victory," he turned as a deep note struck, "it's time for you to vote off your first Hero."

XXX

Jasmine huffed. "I knew Contessa wasn't focused on the game. I don't like it, but we have to vote her out."

XXX

"I'm voting for B," Contessa said. "I know I didn't mess up the editing. So he had to have done something when he went to get the card."

XXX

"The following players are safe for another day," Chris announced as the static cut away to a shot of him holding the tray of marshmallows behind the podium, Chef by his side dressed as a security guard. The camera zoomed in on Chris, and he tossed the marshmallows to...

"Owen. Jasmine. Brick. Dawn. Mitch. Aaaand Izzy." One by one the six in question were shown receiving their prizes. "Contessa and B, you're both on the chopping block for your mishap with the editing."

"It wasn't me," the hopeless romantic groaned. B just huffed and rolled his eyes.

"And tonight's final marshmallow goes to...," Chris said, the bottom two looking nervous as the music became tense and trilling. The shot moved to the host's bland smile, to B biting his lip, to Contessa closing her eyes tightly, to the final marshmallow, and back to Chris as he announced he was giving the final treat to...

"Contessa!"

The young woman in question sighed in relief, then looked at B apologetically as the somber farewell theme began to play.

The Strong Silent Genius stood up with a frown that turned into a look of shock as Chef grabbed him by the shoulder. The camera cut to the runway as B was thrown out of the plane, yelling in shock and gunting in pain as he slid along the gravel on his face.

"You might wanna take these," Chris told him as the shot briefly cut to him holding a bandanna and sunglasses. The shot cut back to B as he caught the items with a confused frown, and Chris slammed the door to the plane.

\

"Looks like Topher's really getting into the spirit of competition," Chris, in his pilot's uniform, said from the cockpit. "Where will our next destination take us, and what will Topher do there? Find out next time, on an all-new episode of Total!" The shot cut outside one of the windows, catching the instigator rubbing his hands together deviously. "Drama!" The shot quickly cut to a side-view of the flying jumbo jet, then pulled back slightly for the final part. "All Stars! 2!"

(Bonus Clip)

The clip opened to a shot of B casually strolling down the street. He turned to the camera with a pensive expression and sighed. He opened his mouth to say something, but a sudden rumbling took him off-gaurd.

"Oh my gosh!" an unfamiliar female voice said. "It's B from Total Drama!" The sound of multiple girls screaming and squealing in joy quickly filled the air

He turned to the side and his eyes widened in alarm, and he ran away. The camera lingered to catch a horde of Total Drama fans chasing after him.

Author's Note Post Script: And a Hero goes home for the first time. I knew B was going home this week because, there's really no where to go with him. Plus it helps me show Topher's strategy. As a wannabe TV host, he knows exactly what to say and do to push people's buttons and get them to act a certain way. Think of him like a non-murderous version of the Jigsaw Killer. He doesn't eliminate people, most of the time. He tricks people into eliminating themselves, or in this case tricks them into eliminating their own teammates.

Regarding Olivessa: Yes. You read that right. Contessa has given up on romance. That doesn't mean she and Olivia won't end up together, it just means the actress is gonna work a little harder to get the girl. Although the next episode has a twist that'll make it much easier for her. That's all I'm saying on the subject.

Also, sorry for the poor quality of the Villains' scene. That was harder to writ than I care to admit.

And as always I'm sure I'm forgetting to mention something.

I hope you all enjoyed the episode, or some part of it.

Please stay safe and healthy during these difficult times.

And I'd also like to remind you guys that a TVTropes page for this series does exist and needs you guys adding to it.

With that I'm signing off
