Chapter 64
For the second time today they were back at Hudson. Kat texted some friends and found out where Monique Jefferies was. "I heard you were looking for me and my sister well here we are." Monique stepped forward, "You're the bitch who was dancing with my man at the club. I already split your eye and your sister's lip, maybe I should reverse it this time." Kat was a smart ass, "I wouldn't call two cheap shots and running like a scared bitch anything." Kat pushed Amanda behind her. Monique was pissed, she swung and Kat ducked, but Amanda got hit in the eye. A full blown fight broke out. Kat got hit a few times in the ribs, but she laid Monique out. "Stay away from us I mean it." When everyone saw blue lights they ran. Monique's boyfriend helped her up, but she was done.
Kat went to check on Amanda, she wasn't bleeding, but it would be a black eye. The two police officers walked closer. Kat and Amanda were the only ones around. "Well, well, well, I see Olivia hasn't properly dealt with you yet. Still causing trouble. Officer Dodds you should help your girlfriend up and I will deal with this one. Amanda let's go." Amanda went because she knew she was in big trouble. "Sergeant Beck, Olivia is in the field, please don't call her." Beck and Dodds carried them to some precinct, but it wasn't Liv's. They were put in a cell, with two cots. Amanda was given an ice pack for her face and Kat was given one for her ribs.
Mike went to check on them. "Hey are you two okay? I'm headed home. Olivia's still in the field and this is where she wanted both of you. See ya soon baby." Kat shook her head, "Yeah if she doesn't kill us." When Amanda heard what Mike said, she got upset. "Kat she put us in this cell. She's really pissed." Kat sat on the cot, she held Amanda, rubbed her head and back until she fell asleep. Kat was fighting sleep when she heard Olivia's voice and she woke up right away. Olivia was still dressed in all of her gear and Fin was behind her.
"Hi Liv. Hey Fin. Are you here for Amanda?" Olivia walked closer, "Yeah I'm here for both of you. When Beck called me, I told her to lock you two up, that way I knew you were safe. Olivia knelt in front of the cot and brushed Amanda blond hair out of her face. She gently rubbed her finger over Amanda's hurt eye. "Olivia please don't be mad at me. I tried to protect her and took the most hits." Olivia looked confused, "Fin pick Amanda up and take her to the car please. Don't worry she may move but she won't wake up." Olivia stopped Kat, "I don't want either one of you getting hit, unless it's me. I still owe both of you a punishment. How are your ribs? Let me see." Kat lifted her shirt, when Olivia touched the bruises she flinched. "Do you need to go to the hospital?" She shook her head, "I'm ok."
When they got home, Fin put Amanda on the bed, she hadn't woken up at all. "Olivia, she could sleep through a fire and she's put on weight." She sent Kat to take a shower and gave her some night clothes. While Kat was in the shower she pulled off Amanda's jeans and put her under the covers. "You aren't gonna wake her up?" Olivia turned, "No at least she doesn't stink." They both laughed, they needed that. "Come on let me take you to your room." Olivia put Kat in the guest room, "Wait here." When she returned Kat was standing beside the bed looking nervous. "Here take these. You're gonna be sore and it should help you sleep. Get in bed."
Olivia pulled the covers up and sat next to Kat, "Are you ok, why are you so apprehensive?" Kat looked at her, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen. I know you hate me now. I should go home." Olivia wasn't sure how Kat felt about affection, but she reached over to brush her hair back. "Well you're wrong about all of it. Get some rest, we will talk in the morning." She tucked her in and headed out, Olivia you'd make a really good mom. Do you want kids?" Olivia giggled, "Ummm I've got one and she's pretty hard to deal with." Olivia started thinking after that. Kids oh my gosh how would that work. She also knew she needed to talk to Kat in the morning.
