Author's Note: Late once again. Blast. I'm on the mend from whatever it was that had me down and excited to get started on the season eight finale. Incidentally, this is the last short season of the series.

Disclaimer: I don't own Total Drama, the shuffled concept or the (most of) the characters.

And to answer some reviews:

LazloVader9943: Thank you so much. I'm sorry I've subverted your expectations twice in a row though. And I'm glad you like the Final Two. But I can't answer any questions about season ten just yet.

OmnipotentAbsoluteUIGodzilla: That's pretty much why I chose them for the final lol.

KryptonianKnight: Sadly this is the final chance anyone who hasn't been in a Final Two has for the money. Eh, even if I'm not sold on the last chapter, I cna say that t's good that it's not mind-blowing.

Derick Lindsey: Well I feel like I mentioned somewhere that I wasn't gonna go the canon All-Stars route but I may be mistaken. I'm glad you liked the cameos andreferences, but there's actually an in-story reason behind Chef's rant. Olivia was always going to reveal that little bit of information, even if I could have eliminated her in Casablanca. I don't like being too horrific to my characters unless they bring it on themselves. But I'm glad there was tension in the last episode for you. I was really worried about that.

TheChrisanthemum: In your defense my response to your review may have been overly sensitive. So we'll just call it even. And wow, only disliking one episode? Even the first season? Y'know despite the fact that I specifically planned seasons 7-9's finalists for their appearance in The Finale, I actually forgot about Contessa and Geoff now being confirmed for that. Like I said, I had no intention of anyone else making it to the Finals. These two got screwed, and I'm making up for it.

Crosshot: Well I like to post my chapters in a rotation of every other Sunday, Thursday and Tuesday. So by my strict standards, I was late. Not by much, but late. And as explined in one of the author's notes. I skipped the Race update to keep things nice and even in the rotation, because ending on odd numbered chapters in the main series bugged me a lot more than it should have. Congrats on guessing the finalists, reviews were all over the place trying to figure out who would fall short. I can say this about Geoff and Courtney's rivalry. It will never be fixed. Some people just don't get along no matter what. Granted, my portrayal of that is more humorous than how it normally goes in real life. Oh no way was I gonna send Olivia back to her parents. I like to save the really horrific fates to people who bring them on themselves. As for the next cast, you;ll have to wait a bit before you'll see if you're right.

Gucci Mane LaFlare: Thanks. It's nice to know I did Courtney justice.

LittleMermaid: There's always a bittersweetness when I finish a season, even more as reach the end of the series. I'm not bothered by the AU's but I have so many ideas in my head I'm afraid if I comment on one I'll wind up wanting to do it. I don't think the producers will allow the island to be risin again, considering how much it wound up costing them. I'm sorry to boot your favorite, and I'm also sorry to say that Geoff and Courtney will never really get along. Some people are just like that. As I said before, I had no intention of sending Olivia back to her family a second time. Heck, if I could have swung the start of the Olivessa plot without it, I wouldn't have sent her back the first time. I can confirm that Rebecca wasn't injured by the volcano, and that the next two seasons are 26 episodes long.

Tempokeep: Like I said, this way the rotation of 2 main chapters per Race chapter will be a bit more even. And I think you'll really enjoy the finale.

Shuffollower: No worries. Review when you can. No aftermaths next season. There are two many people forme to pull them off. HEre's hoping you enjoy the finale though.

Remember, the finale is between Contessa and Geoff. Time to see who's the second true Random Drama All-Star!

Episode 13: An Action Pahk'd Finale

"Last time, on Total Drama All-Stars 2!" Chris opened, the recap beginning with the Final Four contestants standing together on Boney Island as Chris explained the challenge. "The Final Four went diving for the mystical invincibility statue." Contessa was shown being chased by Fang, Courtney was electrocuted by the door to Chris's trailer, and Dimitri the eel made his first appearance. "Awww, adorable," he said as the giant eel caused a massive wave in the water.

"Olivia and Contessa vowed to take each other to the finale," the couple was shown having a heartfelt discussion in economy class and paddling their canoe together, "and Geoff and Courtney did too." The two rivals were shown arguing in first class and strategizing in their canoe.

"In the end, Contessa won immunity," the hopeless romantic's desperate dive and scramble past the finish line was the next clip played, and was followed by the three losers reacting in shock, "but thanks to an unknown twist from yours truly," the elimination ceremony was shown, where Olivia was declared the loser, "she couldn't take her girlfriend to the end." Contessa was then shown choosing to bring Geoff to the finals, "But she gave Courtney the old toss-a-roo shortly thereafter!"

"Only two competitors remain," Chris said over shots of Geoff effortlessly winning the first challenge in Japan, then Contessa beating up Dracula in Wallachia, "Geoff and Contessa in the ultimate Total Drama showdown!" The montage ended there, the scene cutting to the host in the plane's cockpit. "It's Hero versus Villain in the fight of their lives all to win," the shot briefly cut to a close-up of the show's signature suitcase, which was opened to reveal the money inside, "One! Million! Dol-lars!"

The shot cut back to the cockpit, where Chris was rubbing his hands in anticipation. "So get ready!" Chris told the camera, "for the epic finale of, Total! Drama! All-Stars! 2!"

[The sequence opens exactly as it did in season three, with a tilted shot of a stagelight swinging up and turning on in front of an airport control tower, followed by another light popping out of an overhead compartment along with a pair of oxygen masks; then a camera forcibly ejecting a raccoon from a wing engine and another camera bursting out of a suitcase, sending undergarments flying. A pair of white-skinned arms clap a film slate in front of the camera, which then flies down the aisle of first class seats. It passes a drink cart, then forces Chris McLean to jump to the side as the camera flies into the cockpit.]

Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doin' fine;

[Chef Hatchet is piloting the plane in its cockpit, bobbleheads of himself and the host sitting on the control panel. For a single frame he turns his head and glares at the camera before it passes through the windshield and out onto the runway, the silhouette of the CN Tower visible in the distance as the camera flies over and through several baggage tugs.]

You guys are on my mind!

[Fading through the whiteness of a baggage cart, the camera emerges close to the CN Tower. The camera flies up along it, the sun shining bright at its peak. The scene arcs downward towards a lake, and speeds forward into it with a splash.]

Ya asked me what I wanted to be,

[The bubbles from the splash fade to show Owen floating underwater seemingly naked. He notices his swim trunks float past him and covers his crotch with a blush on his face, and the camera pans up to the surface.]

And now I think the answer is plain to see!

[On the roof of the cabin of a boat woven from reeds, Dawn is meditating in lotus position.]

I wanna be...famous!

[The camera pans down and to the right to where Olivia is frantically paddling the boat as crocodiles leap out of the water on either side and snap their jaws. The boat leaves the screen, and on 'be' one of the reptiles winces; the camera moves back to the boat, revealing that it had crashed into an inflatable raft that Contessa was standing on. The raft begins to sink, and Olivia quickly grabs her into a fierce hug. The two girls blush and separate just as quickly.]

I wanna live close to the sun!

[The camera flashes to the a snow-capped mountain, immediately cutting to the top it as Brick climbs up from the side, then wipes the sweat from his brow as he helps Courtney reach the summit.]

Well pack your bags, 'cause I've already won!

[The couple stop with shock on their faces as Izzy suddenly runs past. The wildcard blindly runs straight into Jasmine, and the two tumble off the other side of the mountain.]

Everythin' to prove,

[The camera quick-pans to Mitch standing in an open field on Pahkitew Island. He catches Jasmine in his arms and gently sets her down, and she kisses him on the cheek as Izzy lands on the ground behind them.]

Nothin' in my way; I'll get there one day.

[Another pan to the right shows Topher watching with a devious expression. He rubs his hands in anticipation, only for a furry paw to quickly tap him on the shoulder. The camera pans to Scuba Bear glaring at the instigator, who promptly runs away. On the bear's other side, Terrance begins to laugh...]

'Cause I wanna be...famous!

[...Scuba Bear then turns to glare at Terrance instead, even roaring at the boy and chasing him off. The camera zooms in on a mountain in the background, and flashes over to Geoff and Katie walking down the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The party dude turns to the right and screams and the two run away, a large number of fans chasing them away.]

(Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa)

[Justin and B were next, the genius driving a speedboat and the model waterskiing behind him. They speed up and out of frame and the camera shakes for a moment. The shot pans to the right to show that the boys had ran into another speedboat driven by Sasquatchanakwa, Justin now face-down in his and B's boat. The yeti makes a hand gesture that had to be censored and the camera pans up to the sky.]

I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous! (Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa)

[The jet flies right past a Mayan pyramid, causing whole structure to fall apart; the jet flies over Cristo Redentor in Rio de Janero, startling a priest into crossing himself; the jet flies trough the air and the camera pans down.]

I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous! (Na-na nanananaa, nanana-nanaa, na-nananananaa)

[The pan ends on a zoomed out shot of the swim-dressed all-stars lined up on eight platforms according to their teams – the villains holding red dueling sticks on the left of each platform, the heroes holding gold dueling sticks on the right. The camera zooms in and moves between them as they clash – smirking Courtney against smirking Brick; smug Topher being shoved in the water by a smiling Mitch; vain Justin holding off a confused Owen with one hand as he admired his own reflection in a hand mirror; Geoff thrusting eagerly but being easily blocked by an unimpressed Jasmine; Katie smirking darkly as she easily knocked Dawn into the water; Olivia being knocked away by a maniacally grinning Izzy; Terrance evenly matched with B, both boys smirking competitively; and Rebecca evilly smirking as she slammed her stick against a terrified Contessa, the top pieces of the padding suddenly catching fire and making both girls look up in surprise.]

[The lyrics end and a guitar is strummed as the camera zooms in on the two flames as they flare together, and the last few whistling notes play. The fires peter out to show the cast lined up and most of them smiling at the camera, the jet behind them. Mitch is on the far left end; to the right are Jasmine, B, Owen, Terrance, Geoff, Justin, Topher and Rebecca. In front of them are Dawn, Olivia, Contessa, Katie, Courtney, and Brick. Rebecca has her back turned to the camera as the song ends, spray-painting a '2' at the end of the 'Total Drama All-Stars' logo on the side of the jet, then turns and winks at the camera.]

The episode began with a shot of the Jumbo Jet in flight before flashing to first class where Contessa and Geoff were sitting together. "Okay, scale of one to ten," Geoff said, tilting his head curiously. "How much did you expect to be here right now?"

"Like three at best," Contessa barked out a laugh. "I mean, you saw how I was at the start of the season. Anyway," she shrugged. "What about you? Scale of one to ten."

Geoff laughed as well. "One. I was stuck on the Villain's team. But man," he sighed. "It's down to just us."

Contessa snorted. "Yeah, I get what you mean. And for what is worth," she smirked. "I don't plan on losing, but if I did, I wouldn't mind losing to you."

"Same here brah," Geoff smiled.

XXX

"Even though I radiate confidence on the outside," Contessa said rather sarcastically while gesturing to herself in front of the confessional camera, "on the inside I'm really worried." She smiled. "Don't get me wrong. I'm gonna give it my all, but I'm more than aware of the physical difference between me and Geoff."

"That said, I really feel like I've changed for the better this season. When the game started," her face darkened momentarily, "I wasn't in the best place," she sighed, and plastered on another smile. "But thanks to Owen and Izzy, and Liv," she added with a blush, "I was able regain my confidence and now I'm gonna use it to win this last challenge!"

XXX

"If you had told me two weeks ago that I'd be on a trip around the world to win a million dollars I'd say 'I know,'" Geoff told the confessional with a blissful smile, "because two weeks ago, I was here."

"Now if you'd told me that I'd be in the finale of a million dollar competition," he added, "then I'd say 'You're crazy'. But I guess you're not crazy, because I'm in the finale. Man, I just can't think of a word for how awesome that is."

XXX

The static cut to Chris with his usual grin on his face wheeling a large cart with a widescreen television on it. Geoff and Contessa pursed their lips and gave him a confused look as he passed them by.

"We've already seen the in-flight movie," Geoff said blankly.

"Unless there's another one," Contessa added.

"Nope," Chris said impishly before shrugging, "as a reward for making it all the way to the finals, you each get thirty seconds to speak to a loved one back home."

Both finalists perked up in excitement. "Whoa, awesome!" Geoff said before the television switched on to show a live feed of an attractive white young woman with short blonde hair. She wore a burgundy business suit, and was sitting at a large wooden desk in front of a filled bookcase. "Hildegard," Geoff said with a slight scowl.

The woman scowled in return. "Geoffrey," she said, "it's just 'Hilda', you know I hate using my full name."

"Yeah, and I prefer Geoff to Geoffrey," the party dude shot back. "So we're even."

The two continued to level tense glares at each other... for all of two seconds before bursting into laughter. "So how's Mom and Dad?"

"Ah, you know the 'rents little bro," Hilda smirked. "Well-meaning leaning falling juuust shy of overbearing. But enough about them. How the heck did you make it to the end?"

Geoff laughed. "And you could do better?"

Hilda flipped her hair haughtily then giggled. "I know I could. But alas, I was just too old to compete. Anyway, I gotta board meeting so I have to cut this short. Do your best and have fun. Mom, Dad, me, and Will are all rooting for you. Good luck little bro!" She finished with a smile and wave.

"Thanks," Geoff replied with a wave of his own before the feed cut to static and then cut out entirely. He let out a breath shortly after, and smiled.

"Wow, that's your sister, huh?" Contessa asked. "Seems like a close-knit family."

"We are," Geoff replied. "I'm the baby of the bunch so I had to put up with a lot of pranks growing up, but I wouldn't trade my bro and sis for anybody."

"I know the feeling," Contessa nodded sagely.

It was then that the widescreen cut to static, and then to a brief glimpse of a locker room before a large black man with waist length curly hair entered the frame. He was wearing a pair of black leather pants and matching tank top and the sounds of cheering could be heard as soon as the feed started. "Settle down back there," he shouted off to the side before looking at the screen in pure adoration. "There she is! My beautiful daughter!"

"Papa!" Contessa squealed. "It's so good to see you! How's the road been? Have you been eating right? Sleeping well?"

Contessa's father laughed. "There's no need to worry Tessa. I haven't withered away just yet. But enough about me. You made it to the finals! I told you you could do it."

"I know," Contessa smiled. "Thanks for convincing me to come back. I still can't believe I made it this far."

Her father laughed heartily. "Of course you could've. My daughter can do anything she sets her mind to. Your mother would be so proud of you right now," he added softly.

Contessa blushed. "Thank you Papa."

"Good luck Tessa," her father smiled. "The whole league's rooting for you to win. I love you," he quickly waved, "goodbye!" The feed ended there, and the shot focused back on Contessa as she ended her own wave, then looked down and let out her breath.

She looked up to see Geoff, Chris, and Chef staring at him. "What?" she asked in confusion.

"Your dad is Andre Maximus?!" Geoff asked in shock. "Why didn't you tell us?!"

"Because I didn't see the big deal," Contessa said slowly.

XXX

"Man it was great seein' my big sis again," Geoff smiled. "Truth be told, I've always felt kinda inadequate in my family. This is my chance to prove I can be just as big a success as them."

XXX

The static cut away to a long distance shot of Pahkitew Island with the plane approaching.

\

A grandiose fanfare began to play as the scene cut back to first class. "Attention Final Two," the Chris announced, spreading his arms excitedly and earning a wary look from the finalists. "It's time for us to head to our final destination of the season. Prepare yourselves for Paaaaaaaahkitew Island!"

\

The fanfare continued as the scene cut to the island where a three two-tiered seating area had been set up. Chris was standing in front of the bleeachers with the finalists. He made a cutting motion across his throat, and the music suddenly stopped.

"Finalists, say hello to all the all-stars you beat to get to this point," he opened, the camera following his point to reveal the season's former contestants. "From the Heroic Horses," the camera zoomed in on the left side of the top row, "B! Dawn!" The genius smirked at the final two and the moonchild smiled brightly and almost knowingly at them. "Mitch! Jasmine!" The cowboy, no longer wearing a cast on his foot, tipped his hat to the finalists with a smirk and Jasmine slightly ducked her head in shame."Brick!" The cadet snapped off a salute. "Owen! Aaand, Izzy," the host finished, the pan across the row ending on the optimist, who had the wildcard sitting in his lap. They looked at the finalists and waved with bright smiles.

"And from the Villainous Vipers," Chris continued, the shot briefly cutting back to him before following his motion back down to the second row. "Rebecca! Terrance!" The rebel, now sporting a black eye, merely scowled, while the basketballer shrugged. "Katie! Justin!" The hot-blooded girl smiled, but it faded into annoyance when she noticed the model looking at his own reflection. "Topher!" the instigator scowled at the finalists and turned away. "Olivia! Aaand, Courtney!" The actress blew a kiss to Contessa, but the prep crossed her arms and huffed in righteous indignation.

The shot cut outward to show the two finalists while the losers began to cheer – Dawn, Mitch, Owen, Izzy, and Olivia for Contessa; Brick, Topher, Terrance, Rebecca, and Katie for Geoff. Courtney, Justin, and even Jasmine remained silent while B held up a sign with Geoff's face on it.

"On with the main event," Chris announced, drawing the camera's attention back to him. "The final challenge of the season is," he stood up and folded his hands behind his back, "a Robot Rumble!" The shot pulled back to show the two finalists looking wary. "But first, you'll need to make the robots themselves."

"You'll need tools and materials to build your metallic maimers," the host continued. "And we've got 'em, rrrright here!" He motioned towards the arena floor, the camera cutting to several objects lying on the ground together – a blow torch, a magnifying glass, various hammers and wrenches, tacks, a roll of duct tape, a dead fish, and a bowling ball.

"I call the blow torch!" Contessa called out, the shot panning up and right to her and Geoff. "No clue how to use it, but it's gotta come in handy."

"That's not all!" Chris added impishly. "Oh, Cheee~ef!" he called out, the cheering section gasping in shock as they noticed a helicopter approaching. Chef lowered it over the area, and the camera zoomed in on the massive dumpster hanging upside down below it. The lid opened suddenly, dumping the assorted garbage inside onto the useful items below causing Contessa and Geoff to groan in annoyance. "THANK YOU, CHEF!" the host called and waved out to his assistant, who nodded slightly and flew away.

"You have thirty minutes to collect useful bits of crud from the trash dump," Chris explained over a shot of the two finalists looking at the trash heap they'd been given then turning back towards the stands, "and assemble your robot. But watch your step," he warned with a smile, sitting back onto his throne. "I may have loaded the dumpster with a ton of booby-traps." He laughed with anticipatory glee, causing Geoff and Contessa to flinch and exchange a wary look. "Once you finish, then you'll have to send your bots into battle against the giant monster from season two!"

"Aaand," Chris finished, snapping his fingers. "Go!" he declared.

The music immediately became tense as the two teens made a dash for the junk pile while the losers cheered on their preferred all-star. Contessa reached the pile first, however, with Geoff running past while she lifted a robotic bear's head off the pile with a grunt of effort. She was rewarded by a sudden blast of disgusting-looking gas from the pile that left her coughing and hacking. "It smells so bad!" Contessa said as she stumbled backward out of the cloud, nearly dropping the piece of scavenged metal in the process. With a startled near-yelp as the gas cloud dissipated she regained her hold just before it fell to the ground, and she drug the piece of metal off to the side.

The gallery continued to cheer ass he ran back towards the pile. "You've got this Tessa!" Olivia called out, rising from her seat and cupping her hands around her mouth.

"Come on little buddy!" Owen added.

"You can do it Geoff!" Katie called out.

"C'mon, Geoff!" Rebecca cheered next, the camera focusing in on the other end of the stands. "Beat her! Stop her! Take her down!"

"Aww," Terrance said mockingly. "Can't stand to see your ex in a good mood?"

"Shut your mouth before I shut it for you," the rebel warned.

"I'd be careful with how much I let my hatred show if I were you," the basketballer continued. "Her new girlfriend might give you a nice matching bruise for your other eye."

Olivia smirked at the overheard conversation.

"Hey!" Chef objected, drawing the attention of Chris and the camera. "You said I was gonna get to pilot the monster," the cook complained as he approached the host. "Now I'm gettin' a text sayin' your givin' it to an intern?!"

"Uh dude," Chris said in confusion. "I never sent a text. And the interns are busy rebuilding the old shelters. In fact, I just got a text saying you were in position for the next part of the challenge."

Satisfied with the answer, Chef smiled and started to walk away... only to stop in his tracks as both men's eyes widened in sudden realization.

"Wait a minute," Chris said in concern. "If you're here, and the interns are busy, who sent that text?"

The music turned ominous as the ground shook and heavy thuds could be heard. "Uummmm," Chris asked warily. "What's that?"

"RUUUUUUUNNNNN!" Katie could be heard screaming, grabbing the attention of all present as the camera cut to the Peanut Gallery scrambling and running away as fast as they could just in time for a giant green foot to step on the now vacated bleachers.

"MCLEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAN!" The voice of a disturbingly familiar rang out. "IT'S TIME TO PAY!"

The shot cut to Contessa as she got to her feet and grabbed the head of an orange tabby cat-bot, then panned back across the pile to Geoff as he pulled at a length of chain that seemed to be stuck in the rubble. Both stopped to look in horror at the giant monster. "Is it time to fight already?!" Contessa asked in a panic.

"I don't think so..." Geoff said with a scowl.

The shot cut back to the monster.

"How did he...," Chef said in open-mouth confusion before the animatronic monster slammed its fist into the gawking form of Chef Hatchet. The man was sent flying, and Matthew broke out into roaring, sinister laughter.

"But...but how? Why?" Chris asked in fear and confusion as the scene cut to him sitting on the ground and shaking his head.

The voice laughed, and the monster uncurled one of it's hands to reveal Matthew in its clutches. "Don't tell me you've already forgotten about me?" he asked as Chris's eyes widened. "I mean, it has that it was over a year since we've last seen each other," he continued as the monster stood up and stomped towards the host, "but considering you were almost killed I'd think you'd have remembered it. Now," he smirked as the monster towered over Chris, then grabbed him as he tried to run, "it's time to FINISH WHAT I STARTED!" He had the monster hold the host up level with him, then had him squeezed so that he yelped in pain.

"Okay everyone!" Rebecca shouted as the shot cut to the horrified former contestants. "That is a psycho! Not me! Got that?"

"We have to help him!" Owen shouted as the monster turned and carried Chris away.

"Why?" Rebecca shrugged, "I'm not getting anything out of this. And it serves him right for all the crap he puts us through."

"SOMEBODY!" Chris yelled as he was being carried away. "SAVE ME!" The camera cut in close as he struggled to free himself, and he was surprisingly able to plaster on his usual hosting demeanor. "Don't worry about me kiddies!" He told the camera as a dark chanted version of the capstone theme began to play. "This is just a momentary delay in the proceedings. Who will win the million? Find out when we return on Total! Drama! All-Stars! 2!"

The shot cut to a long distance shot of the island as the host yelled out "HEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLP!"

\

(Commercial Break)

\

The episode resumed to a shot of Chris in the monster's hand. "Welcome back," he said calmly. "For those of you just tuning in let me catch you up. Geoff and Contessa were building battle bots to take on the giant animatronic monster from season two. Said monster was hijacked by former competitor Matthew, who has kidnapped me and intends to do me grievous harm. But don't worry," he told the camera, "we'll have this all settled in a jiffy."

\

The scene flashed back to the finalists, standing in utter shock at the scene they just witnessed. Chef, sporting large bruises from his encounter and an arm that was most certainly not bending a normal direction, ran over to them. "I can't get a hold of the RCMP," he told the two. "It's gotta come down to you to stop that guy."

"How the heck are we supposed to do that?" Geoff asked skeptically as he flailed his arms.

Chef sniffed and glared at him. "I don't know and I don't really care. All I know is the host is gone, some psycho's got him, and you kids are all we got!"

"What can we do?!" Contessa asked.

"Use those weapons you were gonna put on your robots!" Chef yelled. "And hurry! Every moment you spend waitin' around somethin' could happen to Chris!"

The Final Two ran back toward the junk pile, and the camera lingered on Chef as he shot a look of pure terror the direction Matthew took Chris.

\

"I gotta admit, this is impressive," Chris said in a poor attempt to mask his fear as the scene cut back to him and Matthew. "So how'd you pull it off?"

Matthew laughed. "I've been here on the island the whole time," he revealed. "I knew you'd come back eventually. All I had to do was bide my time and wait for you to come to me. And when you had this monster delivered, I saw my chance."

"So why didn't you kill me when you had the chance?" Chris asked.

Matthew snorted. "If you'd shown up earlier I would have killed you then and there," the hipster admitted. "But I figured you'd hide behind your pathetic excuses for contestants again and I wanted to give them the illusion of hope. That is," he smirked, "assuming you haven't finally driven anyone else to the point of wanting you dead."

\

The scene cut back to Geoff and Contessa, now wearing boxy, metallic looking backpacks. Each had a hose connected to its bottom leading to a nozzle in the hands of the finalists. Geoff's was small and narrow, while Contessa's was conical in appearance.

Contessa looked from side to side and sighed. "I'm still not sure what the plan is..."

Chef rolled his eyes as Dawn put his injured arm in a sling. "Use your weapons to go and fight that crazy hipster and save Chris," he told them. "First one to do so wins the million dollars."

"And we're s'posed to be doin' this by ourselves?" Geoff asked incredulously.

"No," Katie declared. "I'm coming with you," she said as she walked over to the group. "We've beaten that guy once and we can do it again."

Geoff smiled. "Thanks babe," he said, causing her to blush.

"I'm going too," Olivia said as she joined as well. "If he gets a helper you should too."

"No," Contessa said, looking off to the side. "It's too dangerous. What if you got hurt?"

"What if you got hurt," Olivia retorted. "You're all I have left," she added softly.

"I can't let you come with me," Contessa reiterated as Owen and Mitch walked over to the group. "Owen?"

The actress adopted a confused visage that turned shocked and furious when Owen picked her up from behind. "Let me go!" she shouted. "Put me down!"

"Ma'am," Mitch said as Owen carried Olivia away. "Olivia made a fine good point about the helpers. And just to prove there ain't no hard feelin's between us. I'd like to offer my help."

"But what about your foot?" she asked.

"Clean bill o' health," Mitch assured her. "And I ain't takin' no for an answer."

\

"Why are you doing this?" Chris asked, still in the clutches of Matthew's monster.

"Revenge," the hipster answered. "It was bad enough that you cheated me out of the million once after promising me the grand prize. But then you left me in a robot for a year and CHEATED ME AGAIN!"

"Promised?" Chris asked in strained disbelief. "I said that you'd win if you beat everyone in the new season. Which, clearly, didn't happen. And for your second loss, you were disqualified for breaking the rules."

"I'm thrice as intelligent as those IDIOTS!" he explained. "My victory was a forgone conclusion, until you decided to UNFAIRLY DISQUALIFY ME! Then you left me for dead on a volcano, trapped me in a robot and left me there FOR A YEAR! And if that wasn't enough, you disqualified me AGAIN and left me to float over the lake in a balloon! Now it's MY turn to make you suffer!"

He began laughing maniacally, but it was interrupted by a helicopter's motor off in the distance. The monster stopped in its tracks, and Matthew looked over with a smile. "It looks like your pathetic finalists have decided to take me on." He chuckled darkly to himself. "Not that it matters anymore since I'm about to ensure this show is permanently canceled. Now before you die," he looked over at Chris, "I'd like you to lead me to the million dollars so I can claim what is rightfully mine."

"You're outta luck," Chris said. "Not only, are you going in the wrong direction, but I wouldn't give you the money even if my li-" He was cut off when the hand holding him squeezed tighter, cracking several bones by the sound of it.

"Your life depended on it?" Matthew finished with a narrowed eye as he moved the monster's hands closer together. "I think you'll find that it does."

"Kill me, and you'll never get the money," the host said defiantly.

Matthew growled ferociously and pressed a button again, causing the monster's hand to squeeze harder and Chris to holler in pain.

The scene flashed back over to the finalists and their helpers, all four inside the military helicopter used in seasons' past. "We're almost there!" Katie shouted over the vehicle's blades as she looked over the distance.

Mitch looked over to the left, and asked. "Are you sure it's safe for you to be flyin' this thing like that?"

The camera followed his gaze to show Chef piloting the helicopter with only his good arm. He winced and hissed with every breath, and looked back at the cowboy. "I don't see anyone else with a license to pilot these things."

"Maybe we should come up with a plan of some sort?" Contessa suggested.

"Me an' Katie can work up a distraction," Mitch replied. "While he's busy chasin' us, y'all can take him down with those fancy machines B whipped up."

"Are you cool with that Katie?" Geoff asked his girlfriend.

"Well I'm definitely not okay with doing nothing while somebody gets killed," she replied. "Even if it is Chris."

Something unintelligible came from where Chef was, and the camera cut to him as he looked back over his shoulder. "Get ready to jump!" he told the four.

"Huh?" Contessa said in confusion as the helicopter began to lower. She looked up, and the camera cut to the giant monster, getting larger and closer.

"Jump!" Chef ordered, startling the boys into jumping out of the helicopter. Geoff was first, giving a slightly playful salute to the cook while Mitch said a silent prayer to himself before jumping. Katie and Contessa looked at one another, crossed themselves, then followed their partners.

\

The scene flashed over to the animatronic monster as it stomped along with Chris firmly grasped in one hand and Matthew standing openly on the other. "You know," the hipster said idly, "this thing is pretty powerful when it isn't being used for pointless reality shows. I can definitely see how losing control of it forced the previous owners out of business. Fortunately, I've already fixed that particular issue..."

"You know that was just a story we made up to scare the cast right?" Chris asked in a deadpan voice.

"Really?" Matthew asked, slightly disappointed. "Doesn't matter anyway," he decided with a shrug.

\

The focus moved back to the Peanut Gallery, mostly everyone assembled near the broken bleachers. Olivia was still trying to get out of Owen's grip, and finally succeeded with an elbow to his gut. He dropped her to the ground and she glared at him.

"How dare you grab me like that?!" she asked in outrage. "Now I have to go find Tessa!"

"Sorry," Owen told her, "but I had to! If she knew we were following her, she wouldn't be able to focus on fighting that guy!"

"Huh?" the actress asked in confusion.

"Did you really think I was gonna let my little buddy run off to fight a psycho and not do anything about it?" He asked indignantly.

"Yeah!" Izzy cheered. "Round one against that guy was fun! It's time for round two!"

"I may not be happy I lost," Courtney added. "But I'm not standing by while someone ruins the game."

"That crazy guy's into guys right?" Justin asked, looking away from his reflection. "I bet I could help out."

"I'm willing to help," Dawn spoke up. "And B is as well," the genius gave everyone a thumbs-up.

"I'm coming too," Jasmine declared. "Not only can I take down that bloke, but I can also apologize to Contessa."

"I've helped stop him once," Brick said as he clapped a hand on Courtney's shoulder, "and I'll do it again!"

"Count me in!" Topher piped up. "Maybe the producers will reward my heroism with my own show!"

Terrance cracked his neck and popped his knuckles. "A chance to beat up an egotistical dweeb? I can't let you guys have all the fun."

Everyone looked at Rebecca, who raised an eyebrow at them skeptically. "What?" she said. "I'm not risking my neck for Chris or any of you. If you're all so ready to run of to die. Be my guest."

Olivia made a noise of disgust, but the eleven former contestants ran off to aid in the fight. Rebecca merely sat down and rolled her eyes.

\

"Now let me see," Matthew said, within the monster's hand, "how should I go about stopping them?" The camera zoomed out to show him and the alien turning around to face the oncoming finalists and helpers, Chris McLean still very much captured. Each step the animatronic behemoth took shook the ground beneath it. "I suppose there's no point in over-thinking it," he said decisively as the monster came to a stop. "I am controlling a giant monster after all. Why not go with the classic approach? Who cares if it's cliche?"

"Wait a minute," Chris said nervously as the fist holding him drew back, "you don't really wanna do that do you?"

"It's either the hand carrying you, or the hand carrying me," Matthew answered with a smile. "The answer is clear."

Contessa, Geoff, and their helpers looked up and saw the hand rearing back. They scattered, and several deep and dramatic notes punctuated the monster's hard punch as it smashed where they had just been. Chris was shown looking dazed from the impact, and the monster roared.

"Stop right there partner!" Mitch called out as the camera cut to him and Katie.

With another roar and punch that the helpers barely dodged, Matthew laughed. "Take your own advice! I'm just taking what's MINE!"

"The million dollars?" Katie asked, the shot changing to show her on the ground with the cowboy. "You lost fair and square! Twice!"

Matthew growled. "There was NOTHING fair about my eliminations! I have suffered humiliation after disgusting humiliation! Treated as some sick cosmic joke just because everyone is threatened by my intelligence! And he's responsible for it all," he continued to rant as the helpers were shown with disturbed expressions, "I don't care about the money anymore! That's just a bonus! I! Want! Chris! DEAD!"

"Well too bad!" a shout from above came, accompanied first by a short burst of triumphant music and then by a couple of thuds from what sounded like the back of the monster's neck.

"What? What was that?" Matthew said in alarm, curling the monster's arms around himself. As the ex-contestants watched nervously, the monster tried to get its host-holding hand behind its back. It even went so far as turning slightly in an effort to improve its chances, but all it succeeded in doing was giving the camera a view of Geoff and Contessa clinging to the monster's back with a determined expression on their faces.

"Who do you think?" the hopeless romantic grunted, evading the monster's claw and holding her weapon. "If you thought we were just gonna let you run around hurting people," she continued as she began to fire a laser out of her weapon at the monster's back, "then you're even crazier than we thought!"

Mitch and Katie smiled with a cautious hope, and Geoff added his own steady fire, actual fire, at the monster's back.

Matthew narrowed his eyes in annoyance and pivoted the monster back and forth in an attempt to dislodges the finalists. "Why are you acting like it's up to you?" he asked, his attention taken by trying to get Geoff and Contessa off his monster's back.

"Why do you act like it's up to you?" Geoff countered as he dodged another wild and awkward swipe, then turned up the intensity of his weapon.

"Because in case you haven't noticed," Matthew replied irritably. "I have a GIANT MONSTER! And since you insist on getting in my way. I'LL HAVE TO KILL YOU TOO!"

"Not if we have anything to say about it!" Katie called out from the ground.

Mitch chimed in with a chuckle. "We might not have any o' those fancy lookin' weapons," he said, "but what the hay? You can't be that tough." He said as he picked up a large log and started charging at the monster.

"No...," Matthew muttered, his eyes darting from his remote control, to the finalists, to Mitch charging forward holding the log out like a lance. "NO!" He roared and slammed down on the controls, causing the monster to throw forward with its arm, the one that had been holding Chris. Matthew's target was Mitch, and his human projectile woke up in mid-air and began hollering when he saw himself flying towards the cowboy.

However, with his attention divided, the hipster's aim was off and Mitch managed to duck under Chris. "Yee-haw!" he exclaimed triumphantly. "Time to show this city-slicker how we do things in Texas!"

"No!" Matthew repeated as Mitch dashed forward and stabbed the log into the monster's foot. He quickly had the monster bend down and swat the boy away, but was immediately distracted when Katie started throwing random fruit up at him. "Stop that, you idiots!" Matthew growled, bringing the monster around to face the Latina.

"No, you stop!" Katie shouted up at the hipster as Mitch quickly grabbed her and pulled her away. Matthew snarled and started to have the monster turn even more, and as he did the camera's focus moved to Chris.

"Uggh," he groaned, holding his head and shaking it a few times from side to side, "what did I do last night?" He looked up and saw the alien still trying to fight off Mitch and Katie as well as remove Geoff and Contessa from its back. "Well you don't see that everyday," he muttered while standing up, "but I am not about to let him ruin my show."

He brushed himself off, then walked closer to the monster. "Hey Matty!" he shouted angrily, momentarily distracting Matthew. "How about you come down off of that monster and try to get the jump on me again?"

"How about you all just give up?" the hipster retorted, having the monster grab a nearby tree and throw it at Chris. The host yelped and ran out of the way.

"Hah!" Contessa barked out a laugh while she and Geoff continued to fire their weapons at the back of the monster's neck. "Why quit now and let you just rampage right over us? Besides," she added with a widening grin as she finally managed to burn a sizable hole in the monster's skin, "We've just gotten started!" With a dramatic flare in the music she fired a quick laser blast at the animatronic behemoth's exposed machinery, severing a few wires and destroying what looked like a piston of some sort.

It sparked a little, then the camera cut to Matthew gasping inside the monster's hand. "What did you do?" he yelled.

"Beats me!" came Contessa's muffled offscreen reply.

"Better keep going 'til we hit something important," Geoff added.

Matthew began to growl, and the scene rapidly zoomed out as he yelled "ENOUGH!" Everyone seemed to freeze where they were – The finalists with their weapons ready to strike again; and the helpers ready to pelt more fruit at the hipster; and Chris frantically making phone calls while hissing in a bush.

"I have had it with ALL OF YOU!" Matthew continued, slamming a finger down on his remote. The monster jolted upright suddenly, then with a mechanical whir it slammed backwards in the side of a cliff. The finalists were caught in between and grunted in pain, then the monster stepped back forward and spun its tail around, forcing the helpers to back off more. "Why won't you idiots just accept the inevitable?!"

"Wha-what do you mean inevitable?" Geoff asked, quickly recovering from the blow and still clinging on to the back of the monster's neck alongside Contessa. "The only thing that's inevitable is you getting your butt kicked the moment someone pries you outta there!" He plugged the nozzle of his weapon into the hole they'd made and smiled, then said "Which might be now, actually!"

"What are you talking about?!" Matthew asked in confusion as the camera cut to him. His eyes promptly widened, and he was suddenly dropped to the ground. The shot moved back to Geoff and Contessa as the monster flailed wildly for a moment. They finally lost their grip and were thrown off the behemoth. Both flew into the face of the cliff and fell to the ground unconscious.

Matthew looked at the fallen contestants and began laughing triumphantly. "See?!" he said. "You can't stop me, you can't even come CLOSE!" The others took pause again, and the shot cut to Geoff and Contessa lying on the ground.

"Now time for my favorite upgrade!" Matthew shouted, furiously flicking a joystick. The monster finally regained control of itself, and glared down at the helpers with black pupiless eyes. It then opened it's mouth and started breathing fire at them. They screamed and barely got out of the way, and Matthew continued to laugh.

"Quickly! We must stop him!" Dawn shouted, quickly grabbing the attention of Matthew, the helpers, and the camera. Matthew smirked, laughed some more, and unleased his monster's breath weapon on them. Mostly everyone got out of the way but when the flames receded, Topher was left completely singed. His hair fell out a moment later, and he gasped in shock and ran away while covering his bald head.

"DIE!" Matthew yelled to the fleeing former competitors. "Everyone who gets in my way has to DIE!" The monster breathed fire once again, and it covered up the camera...

The shot cut to black, and 'opened' as if it was someone opening their eyes. There was a groan, and the camera moved to the left to show an unconscious Contessa, then back to the right to see Matthew terrorizing the former contestants.

The focus moved to Geoff as he rubbed his head and groaned again.

Izzy made a defensive martial arts posture as the shot cut to her, but was unceremoniously batted away by the monster's arm. "Did you honestly think you could beat me?!" he asked angrily as he pressed some more buttons on his controller. "I'm the smartest person this stupid show's ever SEEN!" With a vicious grin, he made a few deft button presses and joystick flicks; the monster punched Jasmine and Brick into another tree. "AHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Matthew laughed.

His maniacal reverie was interrupted by two things. The first was the voice of Chris McLean shouting. "Hey Matthew!" he called. "Give yourself up! I've alerted the authorities, and they'll be here any minute! If you give yourself up before then, though, you might be able to get off with a lighter sentence."

"NEVER!" the hipster yelled out a retort, distracting him from the second thing to interrupt him: Geoff.

With an angry expression, the party dude armed his weapon, ran over to Matthew, and tackled him from the side. He immediately tried to grab the remote control and the two boys started to wrestle for it, and all the jostling caused the monster to move and jerk around erratically, causing those around it to scatter. But Geoff soon gained the upper hand. With Matthew on his back pulling on the remote with both hands, the party dude kneeling over him took one hand off the device, formed it into a fist, and punched the fallen hipster in the eye.

It was enough to cause Matthew to let go of the remote entirely, and with a triumphant flare in the background music Geoff pushed the nozzle of his weapon into Matthew's stomach. "It's over for you dude!" he declared, activating the weapon and electrocuting the hipster quite thoroughly; which had the side effect of frying the controller he had been using. The shot cut to the animatronic monster as it froze in place, and slowly began falling forward.

Geoff gasped and ran for dear life, and Matthew recovered just in time to see the monster falling towards him. "NOOOOOOOOO!" he yelled in a vain attempt to shield himself.

The shot cut to Chris watching with a smile, and wincing slightly at the sound of a thud, and back to Matthew. He was half buried under his now defeated monster, with the top half of his body sticking out from under the thing's stomach. "THIS ISN'T OVER!" He shouted as he struggled to free himself. "I'LL GET MY REVENGE! I'LL DESTROY YOU! I'LL DESTROY ALL OF YOU!"

"Just give up already!" Geoff told the hipster. "You lost!" Matthew merely glared at Geoff and struggled harder, but wasn't able to brake himself free. He continued to struggle for a few more seconds, shot Geoff a nasty glare, then finally flopped down in defeat.

The others cheered, and immediately rushed forward to surround Geoff and pick him up in celebration. Olivia was the only one who didn't join in the celebration, instead rushing over to Contessa with a look of horror on her face. As such, she was the only one to notice the hopeless romantic slowly waking up with a pained groan.

"What happened?" she said idly. "Did we get him?"

"You're okay!" Olivia cried, wrapping her arms around the girl's neck and sobbing openly. "I was so worried. Please don't do something like that again."

"I'm sorry," Contessa said. "I won't do it again. I promise."

Olivia dried her tears and offered her shoulder. Her girlfriend smiled, and the actress helped her hobble over to the celebrations where Chris, Chef, and even Rebecca and Topher had joined them.

"Geoff! Congratulations on defeating Matthew!" he began with arms wide. "Without you, I'd be nothing but an incredibly handsome stain! On behalf of the producers I'd like to thank you for saving the show, and more importantly, for saving me!"

The camera focused in on the party dude, who was being carried by B and Owen. He stared at the host blankly for a second, then grimaced and slapped his forehead. "Ahh crap, are we gonna have to redo the final challenge?"

"Actually, no!" Chris said with a smug grin that took the party dude off guard. "Since the cameras caught that entire fight on film and Chef," he pointed a thumb at his assistant, who smirked, "told you the million would go to whoever saved me, I've decided to honor the deal."

Geoff's face lit up excitedly. "Does that mean I-"

"Uh-uh-uh!" the host interrupted with a stern finger wag. "I hate being interrupted, so zip it!" Geoff scowled at him, and Chris smiled. "That's better. As I was saying, Since you managed to deal the finishing blow to Matthew, I think we can all agree that the winner of Total Drama All-Stars 2..." he paused for dramatic effect as grins formed on the majority of the contestants faces, "is Geoff!"

Immediately, the party dude and nearly all of the former contestants who had clustered around him began to cheer once again. The only one who wasn't was Rebecca, who was standing at the outskirts and seemed to be trying to hide her jealousy with disinterest.

"I-I did it!" The Party Dude said in excitement as he was carried around in celebration. "I really won! Woo hoo!" he pumped his fists. "This is AWESOME!"

"It's been a long two weeks," Chris said with a proud look, "but now it's time at last to crown our winner. For one of the most epic seasons we've ever had, only one person has emerged as the ultimate Total Drama winner." He gestured to the side and was tossed the million dollar case, a dramatic but ultimately victorious musical piece welling up in the background.

"His name? Geoff." The camera cut to the grinning party boy being set on the ground and rubbing his hands in anticipation. "His prize?" Chris's eyes popped open and a grin of his own formed on his face as his voice took a wild and dramatic shift. "One! Million! Dollars!" He spun the case between his hands, then shot it towards Geoff as though it were a basketball; he caught it eagerly, and held it up into the air as the background music reached its peak and the camera zoomed in on the coveted case, which was given a glowing golden aura and vibrant starburst-patterned background on-screen.

Those among the cast who were prone to cheering were doing so with full enthusiasm. Geoff's friends and allies had surrounded him and raised him up on their shoulders again, and he looked the happiest he'd ever been.

As the winner was paraded around, the camera moved back to Chris as the series's most well-known piece of reverent music began to play. "And so it ends!" he told the camera with a grin. "That's the end to our most unconventional finale ever!" he spread his arms wide as the others began to cheer even louder and the shot moved back in steps to show the continued celebration, "I'm Chris McLean, and this has been Total! Drama! All-Stars! 2!"

"What happened?" he said idly. "Did we get him?"

"Yeah," Katie said as she wrapped her boyfriend in a hug. "But you were knocked out for the second half of it."

"Yeah," Geoff said as he looked over at the scene. "It looks like it was pretty wild."

Katie let out a humorless laugh and offered her shoulder. Her boyfriend smiled, and Katie helped him hobble over to the celebrations where Chris, Chef, and even Rebecca and Topher had joined them.

(Roll the Credits)

Author's Note Post Script: And there you have it! Contessa is the official winner of Random Drama All-Stars 2! Why her? More people said they were rooting for her than Geoff. Honestly, I liked them both and couldn't decide who to give the prize to. But I think it's a nice 'screw you' toward Rebecca. Not only did the girl she destroyed come back better than ever, she won her season and got the full prize amount. It's a nice little way to end her arc the past two seasons.

And the finale, I told you it would be different than any other finale. After all, there are only just so many ways to do a race without it repeating. And since I knew there was going to be some sort of battle element, why not bring back the Randomverse's recurring psycho? I personally hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

The chapter as aforementioned is one of my favorites. That antagonist I was missing previously came back in full force in a big way. And I was able to add in some nice little endings for a lot of people. And for the record, Olivia is absolutely behind Rebecca's black eye. The point of divergence is, as you've noticed, who the first person to wake up was and was easy to establish. I knew I wanted a clear winner and I wanted t done in a way where they loser couldn't say they'd been cheated. So, just knock them both out and leave one asleep until everything's done,

Let's see...I've talked about the finalists, the chapter, so I guess the pairings are next. Olivessa obviously got a lot of focus this season. I'm still thinking I should have done that companion piece, but I don't think the season suffered with the focus they got. And the more I think about it, the more I'm glad I misinterpreted that review. These two just work so well and probably way better than the original pairings those two had. Ozzy was nice and I had a pretty basic canon formula to follow there, something I haven't had in a long time. It's barely there, and kinda sudden, but that's why we love those two isn't it. And it can be confirmed that they are officially together. I wasn't able to put it in without breaking the flow, but Izzy forgave him and they're now dating.

The messages from home should be next. Quite possibly my favorite moment from the episode even if both conversations were written by the seat of my pants. That's pretty much it there.

And as always I'm sure I'm forgetting to mention something.

I hope you all enjoyed the episode, or some part of it.

Please stay safe and healthy during these difficult times.

And I'd also like to remind you guys that a TVTropes page for this series does exist and needs you guys adding to it.

With that I'm signing off
