Emma's secret drawer

FanOfMost asked for a oneshot of Snowing find a false bottom in one of Emma's drawers whilst helping her to move. In it, she hides everything Disney related. This includes a small, faded, worn, stuffed Snow White and pictures of her when she was little dressed up as different princesses. So this is set just after everyone gets back from the Underworld and Emma officially moves into her house.

They couldn't believe this was already happening. It felt like just yesterday that the curse had been broken and they had all began living together. Now, they were all being separated again. Snow and Charming were doing their best to be supportive and not overly emotional. After all, Storybrooke was a small town. Emma was only moving a couple of blocks away. It wasn't like they were going to stop seeing her every day. Even still…in their heart of hearts, they both knew it wouldn't be exactly the same as waking up every morning to seeing her grumpy little "I don't do mornings" bed head.

The last, and most difficult, step involved clearing out Emma's room when it was all but empty. There were just a couple of bits and pieces now to either be moved to the new house or thrown away (or secretly hoarded by Snow). Together, they opened up the drawers of her bedside cabinet to make sure nothing was left in them. It was as they were taking out one of the drawers that they noticed something…it was rattling, even though it looked empty. Snow's nimble fingers soon found the edge that could be pulled up, and what a bounty the parents found inside. Emma seemed to be a bit of a hoarder herself. Inside was a small collection of items that all appeared to be Disney related.

"Look." Charming whispered excitedly as he found a small packet of photographs. Each one contained little Emma dressed up as a selection of Disney princesses. Snow let out a little aww. Their baby girl.

"I have to show Ella this." Snow said, tapping on the one of Emma dressed as Cinderella. "Obviously not that Emma will ever know."

"I think you might be more interested in this." Charming said excitedly. He pulled out a larger object and handed it to Snow. She felt her eyes becoming watery. This toy had obviously been loved. It was slightly dirty, and had little tears here and there. It had clearly seen better days from an outsider's prospective, but to the child that owned it, it was exactly as it should be. It was a small, soft, Disney's Snow White doll. It had clearly been Emma's when she was little. Snow held it close to her chest.

"She loved you before she even knew you." Charming said, pressing his lips gently against hers. Snow looked at the little doll lovingly. She brushed off some of the dirt that had gathered on it and placed it gently back in along with Emma's other belongings. She had a feeling Emma might be needing these. Not that she or Charming would ever mention finding these to Emma. No, they were clearly personal to her and that was ok. Snow and Charming had been touched by just knowing about their existence, and that was just fine by them.
