"What such colorful lights."You said admiring all the glittering and blinking lights at FUNLAND. The amusement park, which Steven and his friend Peedee took you see."Many more than I had quite anticipated. The colors bring such joy and good feelings. Do you not agree? Nephew Steven?"

"Just Steven."He reminds you. Though agrees."Yeah. The lights really do. When others come they do look happy."

You give him a smile."That is wonderful. Oh!"You sprint ahead to another part of the place."Wow! There is much many lights in here more! And movable creatures inside these..."You tap the screen one of the video games."Boxes? Yes. Hollow yet electrical boxes. Oh! Look!"Spotting something and go over. Pressing your face against it. Looking at the soft, plushie creatures inside this glass box. That had some sort of mechanical claw hanging over."What such adorable creatures. It is sad they are stuck inside."

Steven and Peedee catch up with you."Oh,"Steven looks."It's a claw machine. And don't worry, those animals in there aren't trapped."

"Yeah. They're plushies. Toys."Peedee further explains."You play the game to see if you can one."

"Oh!"That sounded rather amazing and interesting."How?"

Steven further explains. Pointing to the claw."You put money in, to move that claw. With that analog stick. Press the button over the toy you want and the claw goes down and tries to get it. Though most people don't really win. This game can be rather tricky."

"More like a rip off."Peedee mumbles under his breath.

Looking at the game, it sounded like fun."Well, it sounds very fun. Everything in here sounds like fun. With all the different kinds of noises and music. Beep. Boop. Ding!"You begin to try and inmate some of the sounds. Finding it funny."What more is there to show?"

Steven thinks about it, looking to his friend who too was trying to see."Well, there's the beach."Peedee said."But, you can see that anywhere. I mean this is beach city."

"Well, there are a lot of things here."Steven sounded more joyful than his friend. And begins to list some of the things."There's the move theater Dewy Park, The Lighthouse, Fish Stew Pizza. The place is good. There's actually a lot of places to eat. Buddwick Public Library...There's just so many things to list and say. It's best if we go and see them."

"That does sound like a large quantity of places. All which sound rather enjoyable."You pause and turn around looking out. Gazing fondly at those walking by."...It is very good to be back. I can see very much why, my sister had come to choose this place as home."Lowering your head respectfully, shutting your eyes lightly. To open them, finding Steven hugging you. Actually it felt more like squeezing than anything."...?!"

"And now it's your home, now."He tells you with a huge smile."I know mom would be so happy knowing your here. And she'd want you stay here. This place was your home, years ago. And it can still be."

"It can..it can be?"Your eyes widen. Dropping when you, you remember...remember."I am not sure. After the way in which, which I had departed. The others...I am not sure.."

Hearing and sensing your doubts. Steven does his best to reassure you."Don't worry about that. The others are going to be glad to see you again. I mean. I am. Well, I've never meet you until now. And found out about you just a few hours ago, but, if I can be happy. They will too."

You look at him uncertain. But, his smile pushed it in the back of your mind."Yes. I do believe you are correct. So? Where shall we venture to next? Tell me? Steven, what is your favorite place in which you prefer to go?"

The bell jiggled signaling a customer was here. Meaning the staff at hand had to greet them."Hello and welcome to the Big Donut. What can I get for you? Oh Steven it's-"She pauses, looking at the person with him.

"Hi Sadie."Steven greets her."I want you to meet someone. My Auntie Snow Quartz. Or just Snow."

You smile and bow your head politely."Hello. Once again. Human Sadie."

"Wait a minute?"Steven looks at you then Sadie, rubbing his chin."How do you two know each other?"

Sadie still with her mouth open, you tell him."When I cam to search and inquire about you. Human Sadie and the other human. I male I believe, he had extra holes in his ears. Pointed me into the correct location of you. It was very kind of them."

"Oh."He understood."That's how. It makes sense. Thanks Sadie."

"Su-Sure..."she stammers in awe. A light blush spread across her cheeks looking at you."So..enchanting. Ah! Wait? What!? You're auntie?!"She comes back realizing what Steven just said. And points at you."She's your AUNTIE!?"

He smiles proudly."Yeah! I just found out not to long ago. She's my mom's sister. Well, younger sister. She use live here, but then left for a long time. And now she's back. Isn't it exiciting?!"

She wasn't sure really what say to all this. Looking at you then to Steven. Back and fourth. Trying to wrap her confused and shocked mind around all of this. He was short and stock. Okay, guess that didn't mean anything, then again...Remembering what his mom looked like from that video. She had very long and curly pink hair, in thick, tube-like ringlets. You didn't. Instead had straight long snow white. Pulled back into a pony tail. Reaching mid back. Steven's mother had peach skin. You had pure ivory. His mother was taller and heavier built. You had a thinner frame. A elegant thinner frame. Bright baby blue eyes that seem to glisten like frozen water. Attire different too.

Just how in the world could the two be sisters? Maybe through adaptation. But, it was clear by one thing, her and Steven seem to share the same smile. Even if his auntie looked more like a teen. Knowing well, that she wasn't.

"Yeah...It..it is exciting."She agrees. Looking to you and begins to twiddle her thumbs. Nervously chuckling."You're Steven's auntie. Well, ummm...welcome. Did you want anythi...anything?"

Stepping to the counter you look at the the donuts. The sugar coated bread, in different styles and forms. Some had a glaze, others different colors and sprinkles. Some round and puffy."I am not sure."You come up smiling at her."This is Steven's favorite place. Steven? What would you decide? It has been quite some time."

Steven looks at the donuts pondering, with a serious look."Well...they're all really good. But..."While he focused on that, you took up small chat with Sadie.

"Human Sadie, how is that you know my nephew?"You ask, she seem to jump from what you said. As if surprised you'd be talking to her. Even pointing to herself.

She started to twiddle her thumbs, becoming nervous with you."W-Well...He's a fri-friend. Yeah! A friend."She blurts. Quickly covering her mouth. Embarrassed."I am soo...soo sorry."

"...Haha...Hahaha."You chortle lightly. Hiding it behind your sleeve."It is alright. That is wonderful. Please, do not feel so tense and nervous around me."Sadie was surprised you locked onto those emotions she felt. Realizing this you apologize."Oh, forgive me. I read your personal emotions without any consent."

"You can sense my emotions?"She looks at you surprised and amazed. You nod your head."That's amazing. Oh, man. Now I feel really embarrassed."Flustering. Pulling on her collar."I...oh man..."Letting out a few embarrassed chuckles, while shaking her head."Kind of wish you would have said something sooner."Fanning herself. Stopping when she felt herself cooling off. Finding you blowing lightly on her. To cool her off."Wh-What are you doing?"

"Cooling off your rising temperature."You tell her, stopping and lean in close."Are you now cooled off?"

She didn't know what to say and just flushed. Scratching and looking away."Sure."You claps your hands glad to hear.

"Wonderful. Then I have done a good and wonderful deed. Steven?"You look down at him."Have you decided on what to obtain?"

He was still looking, till he came to a decision."Yep! Hey Sadie can we gave two twists and the sprinkles. The white ones."

She gets them."Here."Handing them over to him; watching Steven give you one.

You stare at the strange twisted yeast pastry, then take a bite. It was amazing! So sweet. So sugary. It made you laugh, with each bite you took, you laughed light-heartily. Like a gentle breeze. It was delicate and beautiful. Sadie was memorized, feeling her cheeks getting warm, again. Only to burn more when you throw yourself upon the counter asking for more.

"Please! May I have more?"You ask politely, with a wide small smile."I do much enjoy such a delicious treat."

"See? I told you'd like them."Steven glad to see his auntie enjoying it. Smiling too, nearly matching her's."Donuts are the best! Which one do you want to try next?"

Happy and elated he was going to allow you to you choose, squatting to look at them. Your finger trailing on the glass going across each row of donuts, stop on one and point."I would greatly enjoy this one."Steven comes and looks.

"A jelly filled one. Nice choice."He tells you."I'll take one."Sadie quickly gets it for him, accidentally putting in two."Alright, we should head back to the house. Cause I don't think I have enough to pay for anything else."Feeling a bit bad.

"Yes. Of course."You agree, standing. Quickly giving the donuts one last glance, a rather sad one. Quickly returning to a smile."Thank you again, Sadie."Clasping her hands, squeezing them gratefully. Before she could find her words, you let go and walk out with Steven who bids her good-bye.

The second the two of you leave, Lars enters from the back room. Finding a Sadie in a enchantment daze."Ummm...Okay."He looks around, to suddenly shiver."How high is the AC?"

The jelly donut was even better than the twist donut. The oozing and fruity taste of it was beyond words. Gushing from each bite, licking your finger that had some of the orange jelly on it. Leaving it rather sticky. Delighted at this treat, which you yearned for more. And hoped for more.

"That was very delicious."You speak out loud."I had no idea such food would be more delicious than the cream filled cookie sandwich. I do believe this is my new favorite food to eat now. Thank you, Steven."

"You're welcome. Yeah, I love donuts too."He agrees."Guess this can be our favorite treat to eat together."You stop and ponder it for a second.

And with a smile agree."Yes. It shall be. I am glad we are bonding."

"Guess we are. Yeah. We are. To bad though Peedee had to go back to the restaurant. It would have been great to have him over."

"Your friend is very kind. His food is yummy too. The Bits."You smile and repeat."The Bits."

"We're almost back."Steven looks up ahead the house was just about two minutes away."I can't wait for the others to see you. Sorry we couldn't see my dad. Maybe tomorrow we can."

Reaching the house, follow him up the stairs."Yes. It would be nice to see Greg once again."You hold the screen door open, for Steven who opens the main door and follows him inside. The second you enter, the pad glows.

"They're back!"Steven exclaims. Thrilled. Turning back to you, with a huge smile."Ah! This is so exciting."

While you smiled back, inside you weren't as joyous as he was. In fact you weren't sure what to feel. Besides rattled nerves and anxiety. Feeling your chest tighten, watching three bodies materialize. Three bodies you hadn't seen in, so...so very long. A bittersweet taste in your mouth. Fear rushed through you. Fear you had to keep under control. Fear that made your body begin to tremble. This was a bad idea, you begin to regret. Inching back, when Steven takes your hand. Squeezing it.

"Amethyst! Pearl! Garnet!"Steven says their names. Welcoming back and introduces you as well."Look! It's my auntie! Snow Quartz!"

The second he mention your name, all eyes look at you. A surprised gasp or maybe horrified gasp came from Pearl. You weren't sure. Garnet had to lift up her visors giving you a double take in disbelief. Amethyst's mouth nearly drop to the floor. This wasn't the reaction Steven was expecting or hoping for. It seem like a stand still between you and the Gems. No words exchanged. Only glances and stares. Making this suppose warm reunion feel, rather uncomfortable and awkward.

"Umm..."Steven looks from you to the Gems, wanting someone to say something. But, no one did. The only thing that happened. You turned heeled and ran out, without a single word. Not even a good-bye."Snow! Wait!"He runs after you, but you didn't stop.

Reaching outside, jump off and summon up the winds to carry you away. Forcing yourself to block out Steven's pleads for you to return.
