"I hate you! I hate you Rose!"

Those words echoed in your mind, they haunted you. You couldn't sleep, it was a good thing the night was always so peaceful and calm, it gave a sense of clarity when things seem crazy and jumbled. Sleep did sound nice, Sadie, you turned to her sleeping across on the other side of the room in her bed.

She set you up with a nice sleeping bag, comfy pillow, and one of her many, many stuff animals. The Snow Leopard, you choose that one. It was rather adorable, and fluffy. The floor wasn't a bad place to rest, it was much better than what you had so long ago. It wasn't cold or hard. Nor did it hurt. How long has it been since you last had a place to rest your head? You knew, it was when Rose was still...here. She was the first one to give you such a thing...after everything...she was the first with many things and the last thing you remember saying to her...before...

Your heart ached, those words...you didn't mean to...they just...Steven. He came to your mind, his smile was the same as Rose's. It was...it burned just thinking about it. Why did he have to...holding a hand over your chest that tightened the longer you thought of Steven's smile...thought of Rose...the similarities between them.

Quite a character he was, Steven. His presence was soothing as it was...your face...it was leaking. With a finger touch under your eye lightly feel wetness.

A tear, your eyes where crying.

They felt the same...heavy that day. You said those words. Shifting where you sat, get up and walk to the window. Stare out to the night sky, at the stars. So many covered the sky. It was like little lights lighting the way. Rose told you that. When the world was...painful and dark. She told you that. And from those words you...for the first time after...the darkness and pain managed to see the world again...anew. And cried...tears of light and joy. And with her you danced under them...in wide open field. She took you there, just the two of you.

There for the first time you expressed your radiant feelings to her. That she welcomed and repeated them back and from there she gave you...something you've carried for the last couple of years.

That ached thinking about it...if she was still here, you wondered...would she forgive you for all that you said? All that you did? The fact you broke heart...when you left. If was clear the others didn't...of course they wouldn't. That was alright...then again it wasn't not when you had...sighing lean back a bit. Turn to Sadie who turned over comfortably in her rest. You wondered what she dreamed about? Was it good? It had to be, you made sure she slept peaceful. Taking away what might ill her. Turning it cold, it was fine.

You were Snow after all, it only made sense. You were made...given these gift, cast your eyes to the gems on the back of your hands. They didn't hurt anymore. There was no more redness or pain. Only...the memory of them...the installment...you could still hear your curling screams. That swelled you up with heat, that you almost screamed. Turn cold instead and let it go.

That was in the past now, set your hands to your side...it wasn't going to happen again.

Now then, you stood up, smiled at the stars...Steven entered your mind and your smile slowly fell. Would he forgive you for what you said? Did the others tell him? Oh you hoped they didn't. The thought would just be...swallowing the thought turn and walk back to your sleeping bag. Get in, curl up with the animal, and close your eyes.

Another day at Big Donut and you where doing actually...fairly well. At least with getting the donuts made properly. There wasn't any frost on them nor did you freeze them. Get the dough. Shape the dough. Fry the dough. Take them out. Glaze them or sprinkle them or dip them in something or fill them. But, never eat them...which was rather hard.

So you did...just one...then two...then three. Stuffed your mouth with a few others. Eventually you finished them, with one hangout. Wondering what was taking you so long Sadie came to check up on you.

"Hey, Snow, you okay?" She came around the corner. "Are the donuts done?"

You turn around, her eyes go to the donut hanging from your mouth and sighed. You smiled, picked up your tray and frolicked out the room to the front. Where Lars was as always board and lounged over the counter. Groaning.

Stopping for a moment noticing the donut hanging from your mouth. "If you keep eating them," he said flatly. "nothings going to be sold."

Sliding the door to the display rack open load the donuts. Shut it and finish what the donut. Before answering. "I cannot help it," you smile licking your fingers. Then your lips a bit."they taste wonderful. Besides do we not have the knowledge to make more and the back is filled all that is needed to make more. Much more!" Spread your arms out to emphasis.

He holds up a finger to say something, dropped it. There was clearly no wining right now. "We do," Sadie said coming in. "that doesn't mean you should eat the profits otherwise we're going to have to explain why we're low."

"I suppose," you give it a thought. "that does make sense. But, then why make something so yummy when it is hard to resist the temptation on eating them?"

A compelling argument. One that Sadie left alone. And let you have. "So," she began. "no Steven today?"

You shake your head sadly. "No. Not today. He called this morning," you point the phone. "that he was going on a mission and was not sure when he would be back."

"Speaking of Steven," Lars interjects. "if he's your nephew and stuff...still trying to figure that out. I mean..."he looked at you quickly then away mutter something. Took a deep breath. "why don't you live with him?" He asked with his back still turned.

Your lips locked along with your tongue. Sadie noticed and quickly answered for you. "There wasn't any room." Lars looked at her, then to you and again his head whipped around. You cocked a head a bit at his odd gesture...he'd been doing to you. Something always seem to rise with heat with his emotions. Sadie kept going. "So, Snow asked if she could stay with me and stuff...so yeah. Just until...until..."

"I fine my own living quarters!" you come in for the save.

Lars this time looked at you with an arched brow. "Your own 'Living Quarters'?" He repeated. You nod, Sadie stood there with a slight fallen face. "You? Living by yourself?"

You nod.

He kept adding. "Do you even know how to?" Scoffed.

"Well, it does require money. So, that is why I am working." You tell him. "Is that not why many of you work, to gain access to the money, so that one might be able to enjoy the pleasures of their labor...and.."you twiddle your fingers. "as much yummy fried sweet dough one can eat."

He laughed. Lars just laughed Threw his head back and laughed, you weren't sure what was so funny. But, it felt rather down...Sadie muttered to herself shaking her head. Opened her mouth to say something when the door opened.

Thank goodness.

"Hi and welcome to Big Donut."Sadie greets them.

You follow behind her, Lars froze and began sweating. "Yes, welcome!" You chime with a smile. To have hands cup your cheeks and began to pull them.

"Oh my gosh! I can't believe it!" Jen shrieked, pulling your cheeks. "So you're Steven's auntie? You are so adorable."

Not sure who this female was, but she did look like Kiki from the pizza just with shorter hair and golden...large golden earrings in her ears. Not mention her attire was less conservative than Kiki. Dressed in short jean shorts and plate cream shirt. Not to mention she more lively than Kiki. She kept pulling upon your cheeks, then moved a hand to your hair, ran her fingers through your pony tail.

Seemingly amazed by it. "It's like snow." She gasped.

"Yes, that is my name." You said, taking your hair back. Though not in a rude way. Smile at her. "Hello, I am Snow and you are?"

She fawned. "Aww, you even speak cute and soft too. Well," she held her chin up with a smile. "I'm Jenny."

You bow lightly to her. "Hello, Jenny."

She fawned again at your gesture. "That was so adorable. You bowed. So cute."

"Thank you, did you want a donut?" You asked. "We have many kinds that I believe you migh-"

She shushed you. "No. I came here to see you. When my sister told me about you, I just had to come and see for myself. Steven having an auntie."

She already addressed them. Odd. "Yes, I am." You confirm it. Point to yourself proudly. "I am his Auntie Snow. If you are looking for my nephew, he is not here at the moment. He wen-"

She shushed you again. "Oh, I didn't come to see him. I cam just for you."

"Oh, well...thank you."

Jenny laughed again. "Sweetie, you're too much. I've got to show you off. You're too adorable to be here, are you doing anything?"

Working, that was what you were doing. "I am currently doing my-"

Again, she silenced you. Waving a finger before you. "Oh, you can do that later." She grabbed your hands in hers. "Come with me."

You weren't sure what to say, this was so sudden. Plus you still had work and..."Just go!" Lars nearly yelled, pushing you from behind the counter, that you nearly almost flipped over it. "And I'll come too." He includes himself. Hopping over the counter.

"Lars?" Sadie weakly said.

"What?" He said. "Snow might need help understanding somethings and let's be honest she's not very good at it. So, I should go to help-"

Jen shushed him. "Sorry, just want her." To Lars' dismay. "Don't worry, I'll bring her back. Now," she directs you around the counter to her. "come on."

Feeling her persistence follow her.
