After sharing a lovely picnic together which consisted of everything that we had on our first ever date together me and Ben then lay down and cuddled tightly together. I loved being in Ben's arms like this; it was my favourite place in the world - and I knew that this would never ever change.
"So Ben?" I stated breaking the silence after we had been lying in silence for a few minutes just enjoying being alone together.
"Yes Mal?" he answered as we both looked at each other.
"I have something to ask-" I began to admit. "But part of me thinks it may upset you," I added nervously. This was the truth; we had already been so much and I didn't want to put either of us through any more upset but I knew that if I didn't bring it up then I was only going to strew on it.
"Well I want to know now" he insisted. "You can't just drop something and leave it like that" he stressed.
"Yeah" I nodded slightly. "Probably" I advised as I pursed my lips together.
"You say that you didn't do this to make it up to me-" I began and I stayed quiet hoping that Ben would understand what I was trying to say to him.
"Oh I see" he said after a few seconds of us lying in silence. "Well that was true" he started to explain. "However-" he added. "I do believe you are also right" he advised. "I wanted to make it up to you, I still feel terrible about it" he confessed.
"Me too" I agreed. "It's not nice thinking your husband doesn't want you" I sighed sadly.
"Hey!" he exclaimed as he quickly cupped the left hand side of my face with his right hand. "You know that isn't the case" he insisted and I could tell as the fear started to show into his eyes that he was worried that I was still fixating on this.
"Yes" I said and I watched as he sighed at me. "I know that isn't the case" I was quick to add as I started to feel playful. "You have been very insistent to make sure that I know that" I winked and I watched as a large smirk spread across his face.
"Hey!" he muttered as he brushed his nose against mine. "I'm not just the guilty party here, you pounced on me in the bath" he jokingly accused.
"I didn't hear any objection" I flirted back.
"And you never will," he winked at me.
"Glad to hear it Benny" I giggled at him.
"Would I ever hear any objections?" he teased.
"No," I purred. "I love what you do to me" I winked at him.
"Hmm" he purred as he pulled me closer to him.
"Calm down Beast" I teased as I rested my left hand against his strong and broad chest. "We are out in the open" I reminded him with a laugh.
"Yes" he chuckled. "But there are plenty of blankets that can keep us covered-" he offered. "And the tent can be closed," he added.
"I see," I noted. "It would appear that my husband has me out here on an ulterior motive" I told him suggestively.
"What do you mean?" He questioned innocently.
"Well you obviously wish to have your wicked way with me" I accused playfully as I slowly stroked his chest with my hand. "Out here" I giggled.
"That wasn't my initial thought" he stated.
"But it is now?" I sang teasingly.
"Yes!" He exclaimed. "But only because you have mentioned it" he said with a sly smirk.
"Don't blame me!" I exclaimed. "You've got me all riled up looking like that" I accused playfully again.
"Like what?" he joked.
"Like you" I sang huskily before pushing my head close to his and I planted a brief but loving kiss against his lips.
"I see" he noted as I pulled away from him. Our gazes then locked and I watched as my husband's eyes continued to darken in lust before he crushed his lips against mine. Even though I knew what was about to happen I opened it with welcome arms. As spending time with Ben was always going to be my favourite past time - no matter what naughtiness ensured.
