It was a warm summers day, and me, my older brother Miles, and my best friend Trent, all decided to have a sleepover after school the next day, well things took a really dark turn that night, and nothing could have prepared us for what was going to happen. Trent actually ended up bringing a frickin Ouija board, into my house! After we agreed to play truth or dare with him, "Oh my God! Trent, really!?" I screamed. "Hey, hear me out, I will literally pay you $120 is you agree to play! What do you say!" Trent asked, waiting patiently for me to answer "Hell no!" I barked."Oh c'mon Kira, I thought you were brave" he taunted "C'mon, you play this with me and the money is yours!" Trent said with an eager smile on his face "I dare you!"
"What? No! No! No! Get that thing out of here Trent I do not want to touch that thing!" I cried, begging him to get rid of the cursed object "What are you, a wuss?"
"No!" I said in a firm voice.
"Awww, it looks like the brave daredevil herself doesn't even have the courage to play with it!" Trent teased.
"I am not scared!" I cried, "Please Trent, get rid of that thing! Please"
"Chicken!" he said.
"Okay fine! Fine! I'll play!" I said reluctantly.
"Finally!" Miles said, after being quiet for a good minute.
Then without hesitation Trent pulled the cursed board out from his bag.
"Are sure it's safe?" Miles asked. "You're fine okay! Fine!" he barked in a deep voice.
Wich was okay, if it were normal. "I've never seen him act like this." I wispered to Miles, who also agreed.
"Place a finger on the planchette!" Trent said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because, placing a finger on the planchette will allow the spirits to manipulate and possess our hands, that way it gives a spirit an easier way of answering the questions!" Trent said.
We all placed a finger around the planchette, and began our session.
"Hello!" Trent asked. "if there is a spirit in this room can you possess this planchette?"
Then the planchette began moving.
It moved to the word 'Yes'
"Are you moving it?" I asked.
they both shook they're heads, now unshore of themselves.
"No, are you?" Trent asked nervously.
"No" I nodded.
Then we both turned to Miles.
"I am not moving it! I shit you not!" Miles said.
"Here have an idea why don't we ask it something that none of us here knows the answer to then we'll know if somebody's moving it!" I suggested.
"What animal am I thinking of?" Miles asked.
-L-I-O-N-
The board spelled. The my brothers face looked shocked.
"Are you a good spirit?" Trent asked.
The board moved to the word 'No'
"So you're a bad spirit?" Miles asked.
The board said 'Yes'
"Where are you?" I asked.
-D-O-L-L-S-
The board said.
"What is you're name spirit?" I asked.
-S-A-T-E-N-
The board spelled out.
Trent and Miles's faces looked worried for me.
-D-I-E-B-I-T-C-H-
"Okay! We-re leaving... NOW!" Miles said now more scared than he'd ever been.
In fact, he was holding on to my hand the whole time we were running and I tried getting loose, he was definitely not letting go of me. Trent, following close behind.
"Kira! Kira! I am so, so, sorry!" Trent said.
"I never meant to put you in danger!"
"Shut-up Trent! Just shut-up!" Miles said furiously. "I hope you ended that stupid session of yours! Because if not, than I'm gonna kill you for sure!"
Trent looked like he was about to say something, but no words come out.
"You're supposed to be so smart, but don't you know you shouldn't be messing around with things you don't understand!?"
"But I wanna understand!"
"Right, you wanna understand but you don't because you never listen to what others have to say to help you understand! And worst of all, you put the life of my sister in danger!!" Miles barked.
"Kira, I'm sorry-"
Trent murmured to me before tearing up and turning around and walking away.
I never in my life have ever seen him so upset, Trent was so sad.
