Cheater

Etty 123 asked for a oneshot of Eira having a very crude, demeaning and dim-witted boyfriend who none of her family like. They put up with him for Eira's sake until he "accidentally" cheats on her making them all go into protective mode.

Nobody liked Seth. He was, to be polite, an asshole. Nobody saw what Eira could see in him. He was rude and he did not treat her properly. They all thought she could do better, but for some obscure reason, Eira was happy to settle for that idiot. Killian, David, Henry and Neal had all come close to having a brawl with him several times. All that stopped them was Eira. They didn't want to upset her. So they, as well as Snow, Emma and Rosie, held themselves back. Barely. Well, that was until the incident.

One evening, Eira came home in floods of tears.

"Eira." Emma said, alarmed. "Eira, what's wrong."

"Seth." Eira wailed. "I saw him in the park with Layla. They were kissing." She explained. "When I shouted at him, he said it was an accident. That he hadn't meant to be end up kissing her, but how can you accidentally cheat?!" Emma came forward and wrapped her arms around Eira.

"Because Seth is a jerk, that's how." She said, pressing a kiss to the top of Eira's head. For once, she didn't jump straight to her boyfriend's defence. Emma knew that meant this was it. Her daughter had finally seen sense. "Does this mean you've broken up for good?" Emma asked, wanting a confirmation. Eira nodded into her mother's chest. "Aw honey." Emma said, both sad for Eira and delighted at the same time. "You're well shot of him. Don't you worry. Cheaters aren't worth your time." Emma told her. She gave Eira one last squeeze before pulling back. "Ok, I'm going to drop you off at gran and grandpa's house to spend some time with Rosie. I want to stay with you, but there's something the rest of us have to do. Will you be ok?"

"Yeah." Eira said quietly. "But what are you going to do?"

Emma then dropped Eira off at her parents' house. Not that her parents would be staying, or her brother. She also called Henry from the printing room and Killian from his night shift at the station. They all had a little visit to make.

When Seth opened the door, he had no idea of the angry mob he would be facing. He tried to shut the door, but Killian jammed his foot in it.

"Oh no, son. That would be far too easy." He growled. Seth opened up the door again. By this point he had worked out that Eira must have tattled on him.

"What do you want?" He asked them all, trying (and failing) to sound brave.

"What we want is very simple." Henry answered. "For you to stay away from my little sister. She's finished with you. You've not to try and get back together with her. She's deserved better than you for months, but now that you've cheated on her, she can finally see it."

"If my daughter ever comes crying to me again because of you, you'll know all about it. Do you hear us, Seth?" Emma warned him. Seth nodded his head. "Good." Killian removed his foot from the door.

"I still keep the hook for a reason." He growled. Seth gulped before closing the door. The family all got back into their respective cars to go back home, satisfied Seth would no longer be their problem.
