May muses 16: House arrest- Sb
Day 16 of May Muses! Another mirrored one today. Doing yesterday's scenario, but in Storybrooke :).
"How long do you plan on keeping us cooped up in here like sardines?" Emma snarled. She wasn't doing well being held in the one room. She'd done her time in jail and she never wanted to go back there again. She especially didn't like her family being there as well. Particularly Henry and Neal.
"As long as we want, sugar." One of the balaclava wearing hooligans that was holding them told her in a condescending voice. He aimed his rifle at a free chair. "Now, why don't you park your pretty little ass down right there so I don't have to put a hole in your head for annoying us, huh? That would be a real shame." Emma shot the creep a look, but sat down. These people clearly weren't ones to mess with. They had burst into the loft apartment and quickly put a magic preventing cuff on Emma. There were eight of them and they were each heavily armed. Trying to fight them, under the circumstances, would potentially result in one of the kids getting taken or hurt. It wasn't worth the risk.
"Don't talk to my mom like that." Henry growled at the creep. Emma put her hand on top of his. Getting angry just gave him more ammunition. The creepy guard laughed.
"What you gonna do about it, son?" He asked. He then very deliberately looked Emma up and down, smiling eerily.
"You wanna cut that out?" Charming snapped. Just because they were being held in his own house didn't mean he had to stand for this. The guard didn't take his eyes off Emma.
"Nah, not really." He replied, without the slightest bit of fear. "You want out this room so bad, princess? I can always give you a little break upstairs…"
"I told you not to speak to my mom like that!" Henry snapped. The creep just started to laugh. Henry didn't like that at all. He stormed over to give the guy a piece of his mind. All the guns suddenly pointed at Henry. Emma leapt to her feet and pulled Henry behind her. In doing so, she accidentally shouldered the creepy guard. He quickly grabbed her wrist and, before Emma had the chance to react, twisted it up behind her back. There was a very audible popping sound. Emma gasped in pain.
"Oops." The guard hissed in her ear. He tossed Emma to the ground. Charming was quickly up and bringing Emma back towards them.
"Emma, are you alright?" He asked. Emma nodded.
"I've had worse." She grunted. She looked at Henry. "You ok, kid?" She asked. Henry nodded.
"I-I'm fine." Henry stammered, shocked. "Mom, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for you to end up getting hurt." He said. Emma shook her head.
"It's not your fault Henry." She panted. She winced when she tried to move the arm. Snow gave Henry Neal to hold. She moved down and looked at Emma's injured arm.
"That's dislocated." She said immediately." She looked up at her captors. "I need to pop this back in." She told them.
"Since when did you become a doctor, lady?" One asked gruffly.
"Since I was a bandit and had to deal with injuries myself." Snow responded curtly. "Now, I need to take her into the bathroom and pop this shoulder back in." Snow said. The guard stood taller, puffing out his chest.
"I don't see why you can't do it in here." He said gruffly. Snow narrowed her eyes.
"For a multitude of reasons." Was all she responded. "Now, I'm taking my daughter into the bathroom to pop her shoulder back into place. Please don't shoot either of us in the back." Snow snapped. She was sick of this already. She couldn't wait until Regina and the others found out what was happening. All Hell would break loose. Snow then supported Emma into the bathroom. She got Emma sitting on the toilet and helped her get her top off. She gave her a facecloth to hold in her mouth.
"This is gonna hurt. Bite on that." Snow suggested, knowing Emma wouldn't want their captors to hear her react. Emma nodded, she'd been through things like this before. "Ok. On the count of three. One, two-" Snow popped the shoulder in on two. Emma screamed into the facecloth.
"Son of a bitch!" She grumbled, spitting it out.
"Yeah, he is." Snow snarled. She took Emma's hands in hers.
"We don't have a lot of time before they bang on that door demanding we get out." Snow moved up onto the edge of the bathtub and opened up the window.
"Hey." She called out. "Over here." Suddenly, Emma heard a pigeon cooing. It landed right on her mom's outstretched finger. "Take a message to Regina. Tell her we're all trapped in the loft apartment. Go." Snow said, shooing the bird. Then, right on cue, there was a thudding at the door.
"Move your asses!" The man yelled. Snow quickly helped Emma into her top. She opened the door and kept Emma far away from the guard as they moved back to the others. As stealthily as possible, Snow winked at her family. This would all be over soon.
