Starting on the second chapter of The Goddess of Universe Seven, and I have decided that it would be a saga story. In simple words, one story is one saga. This story will cover the first arc, that is the Battle of Gods, and the next one will cover the Revival of F. This is because it will be easy for me to focus on the story this way rather than having a huge story.
I might upload the stories into one when the story is finished as a collection.
Gohan waited for his father to open the door. Every year he would spend this day alone, and he knew why. His wife, Gohan's mother, had disappeared, leaving them alone.
His father had to raise him alone for the first four years of their life. He had instilled him with every good thing he knew. Seemingly getting him ready for the future. He taught him how to fight, as well as helped him study, though, at times, it was him teaching his father.
Gohan, from an early age, had shown an interest in engineering and being the good father he was, Goku had gone out and bought several books and whatnots on the topic, even getting help from their family friend Bulma. At first, he had assumed that he would have to teach himself on his own as his father wasn't on the smarter sides of things, but to his surprise, his father had taught himself a little so he could help him. Things were looking up for the Son Household.
Then the Saiyans came. At first, it was Raditz. The Saiyan proved to be formidable for the duo of Goku and Piccolo, however, they were able to kill him at the expense of Goku's life.
After that came both Nappa and Vegeta. With training under Piccolo, Gohan had teamed up with his mentor, Piccolo, along with the rest of his father's friend such as Krillin and Yamcha, to take down Nappa, however, Piccolo and Yamcha felled to Vegeta. His father, back from the dead via the Dragon Balls, had saved them and defeated Vegeta soundly.
However, with Piccolo dead, they had to travel to Namek, where his father fought Frieza, where he first used the legendary form, Super Saiyan. After that whole debacle, he trained with Vegeta and Piccolo, training to get stronger while his father returned in one year after escaping the exploding Namek. However, before he could reach Earth, Frieza and his father, King Cold, had arrived, intent on destroying the planet. Thankfully, because of the boy from the future, Trunks, they had been saved.
Trunks then warned them about the threat of the androids and upon learning that his father would die due to heart disease, Gohan made sure that he took his medicine whilst they trained for the threat.
During their training, another member of Frieza's race had arrived seeking vengeance, Ize. However, she joined their side when she met Yamcha and changed her ways. They now had another ally on their side. When the time came, Goku faced the Androids without any issue, however, they had to face another threat in the name of Cell. Having the cells of each of the fighters, Cell's own ego lead to his downfall when he gave them a week to prepare. It was in this fight that Gohan prevailed, at the cost of his father's life.
After that whole debacle, Gohan lived with Vegeta and Bulma, getting a better hold of his Saiyan powers. The world did seem at peace, however, after seven years, the events with Buu transpired, with his dad now being stuck in this primal state. After the whole thing, he had been in a good relationship with Videl, marrying her two years ago.
Slowly the door creaked open, "Hey son, daughter." Goku said as he gave a fanged grin and beckoned them in. "Make yourself at home."
Gohan and Videl entered the house, finding it to be as clean as they had expected. Goku always kept the house clean. "So dad, we have big news." He said as they sat down on one of the several chairs that were present. Gohan always felt at home whenever he came back. It felt as if nothing had changed.
"Funnily enough, me too," Goku replied. Gohan noticed the smile that was in his face. It seemed that his father had gotten out of his funk. "You go first." He said.
Gohan nodded as Videl scooted a little closer to him. "Well, we had a big announcement." He smiled, "Videl told me that she's expecting."
Goku nodded as he slowly came to realize what his son was telling him. "Wait, really?" He asked. Was he going to be a grandfather?
"Yeah, she told me at Bulma's birthday party yesterday." His son replied. "I felt as if you should be the first one to know about this." He chuckled as he scratched the back of his head.
"So, have you guys decided on any names?" Goku asked.
Videl nodded, "Yes." She said, "If it's a boy, then we'll call him Gokken. If it's a girl then Pan."
"Those are good names," Goku said, reminded of the time when he and Chichi chose a name for Gohan.
"I really wish mom was here," Gohan mumbled, causing silence to befall the room. Sometimes he wondered why his mother left him. He had only seen her in family pictures that his dad had kept around. From what his father told him, she only stuck around a couple of days after his birth before disappearing.
"Umm, yeah, about that." Goku started, getting the attention of the couple. "Remember when I said that I also had some good news?" He asked as Gohan and Videl nodded to that. "And funny that you mention your mom."
Gohan's eyes widened, "Wait, did you find mom?" He asked desperately. He had several questions to ask her, and if his dad found her then maybe he could have had some of his questions answered.
"Well, not exactly." Goku replied, "It's more like, your mom found me." Once he said that Chichi walked down the stairs, getting the attention of Gohan and Videl. The Half-Saiyan gasped as he saw the same woman he had seen on his family pictures.
She looked as if she hadn't aged a single day. "So, the funny part is that-" Goku started with a chuckle but was interrupted with a soft cough by Chichi. He looked at her as she stared at him, "I think your mother wants to explain this part." He said as Chichi sat down beside him.
"That's fine," Gohan said as he kept his eyes fixed on his mother. "Um, hello." He said meekly. This was weird for him. He had no idea how he should talk to his mother.
"Hello, son," Chichi replied. "It seems we have finally met."
Gohan nodded, and then asked the question that was on his mind for Kami knows how long, "Where were you?"
Chichi flinched as she knew that she had to tell him about her position in the Universe. "I had to be in a very important place because if I wasn't then the entire Universe would suffer." Gohan raised an eyebrow at that.
"Huh? The Universe?" He asked.
Chichi nodded at that, "Yes, the Universe." She stood up, shocking all of them. She then began to charge her ki, giving her body a purple outline as her aura flared a little. "I am what you can call a Hakai no Kami."
Gohan and Videl were flabbergasted at the revelation. "WAIT WHAT?" Gohan shouted in shock.
"I originally came to Earth intending to relax, as per my assistant's orders." Chichi said, "However, I met and fell in love with your father here." She pointed to Goku, who gave a small wave. "And well, we had you." She said with a smile. A sad smile, but a smile nonetheless.
Gohan took a moment to absorb all this. This was unbelievable. His mother was back, and she was essentially a Goddess. He looked at his mother, "I have so many questions." He whispered out.
Goku noticed the strain in his voice and took the cue to leave the two alone. "Hey Videl, I have some of Gohan's baby clothes." He called out, "Wanna see?" He asked.
Videl had the same idea, "Sure Goku-san, I would be delighted."
Goku chuckled at that, "Please call me dad." He said as he led the soon-to-be mother out, leaving the two alone.
Gohan looked at his mother, who was looking back at him with keen interest. There were thousands of thoughts in his mind. He had thought that if he ever met the woman who gave birth to him, he would be composed, asking questions left and right. However, when it came to, he was confused. What could he ask? He groaned. Why did his father leave him in such a precarious position? He thought to himself as he rubbed his face.
"Are you okay?" He heard her ask. He looked up to see the concern in her eyes.
Gohan nodded, "Yeah." He replied, before speaking up, "C-can you hug me?" Noting the shocked expression on the Hakai no Kami's face, Gohan continued, "I didn't mean it. Sorry." He said, shaking his hand.
"NO!" Chichi yelled, startling the young warrior. "I mean, no, it is okay. You can hug me." She said, carefully choosing her words.
Slowly, Gohan got closer to her. It was difficult for him to do so. He had faced Nappa. He had fought Cell, Majin Buu and Kami know who else. But this was the toughest thing he had ever done.
Slowly they both embraced each other, and for the first time ever, Chichi had hugged her son. She could feel her shoulders getting wet as she realized that he was crying.
Gohan had streams of tears flowing from his eyes. 'So this is what a mother's hug feels like.' He thought to himself. He had been hugged by his father several times, filled with love. He had been hugged by his wife, filled with love. But being hugged by his mother was different. It was filled with love, that was for sure. But it was different. He relished the love being given here. 'This feels different.' Gohan thought. He realized what this was. This was love indeed, this was a mother's love. His mother's love.
"Ara ara~. Perhaps I shan't be intruding on a touching moment." They heard another voice call out, one which Chichi recognized. Gohan turned his head to see a woman with white hair and light blue skin, her eyes fixed on the mother and son. "I believe we haven't met, Son Gohan." She said.
"Gohan," Chichi said, "This is my attendant and tutor, Vados." She told him, "She is the reason I am here right now."
"Oh, thank you for that," Gohan said as he gave a slight bow.
"Ho ho," Vados chuckled, "There's no need for that. I was only doing what is best for the Hakai no Kami." She then looked in the general direction where Goku and Videl were, "I best leave now, give you two time." She said as she disappeared.
They both looked in the general direction where Vados was before both of them gave a chuckle. "Well, that was unexpected," Gohan said as he cleared wiped some of the tears away.
Chichi also laughed as she said, "I agree." She had a smile, "Despite her being my mentor for seventy-five million years, I still haven't gotten fully used to her antics."
"Yea- wait, seventy-five million?" Gohan asked in shock, which wasn't to last for long as he had stars in his eyes. Chichi chuckled as she was reminded of Goku the day prior. "That must mean you must know some good fighting moves."
Chichi gave a short laugh. "You are too much like your dad, you know?" She said, "He said the same thing when I told him that."
"Wait, really?" Gohan asked, smiling.
"Yes." She replied, "Do you have anything to ask?" She asked her son.
Gohan nodded at that, "Yeah." He took a deep breath as he started, "Where were you?"
Chichi nodded at that, "I was busy, busy being a complete and utter fool." She said, "I thought that these bonds were unbecoming of me. That I should focus on my job as a Hakai no Kami rather than being a mother." She took a deep breath as she tried to hold back the tears. "I was afraid."
Gohan raised an eye, "Afraid of what?"
She looked at her son at that comment, "You do realize how strong I am?" She asked him, "I can easily shatter planets with the tip of my finger." Gohan looked both awed and shocked at that revelation. "Yeah, I soon realized what I was capable of, and I got afraid." She had tears in her eyes, "I was afraid of what I could do to you and your father if I didn't keep myself in check."
They both remained quiet for a while, the only sound present being the soft whimpers of the Hakai no Kami. Gohan looked at his mother, "Hey, you're here now, and that's all that matters to me."
Chichi smiled at that, "Come here you." She said as she pulled in her son for another hug."
(With Goku and Videl)
"And this is what Gohan wore when I took him out to see my friends at Kame House," Goku said as he showed her as he lifted a yellow dress with a Son emblem in the front. "It also had a hat, but I can't seem to find it," Goku said as he scratched his head. "It's where I kept the Four-Star Dragon Ball, which was the reason why I was able to find Gohan when Raditz kidnapped him."
"Oh yeah, Gohan told me about that," Videl said, "Is it true that you had to join forces with Piccolo-san, who was evil at the time, to even put a scratch on him?"
Goku nodded, "Yeah, it was pretty tough at that time to even land a single hit on the guy." He said, "It was pure luck that we were even able to kill him."
"Amazing," Videl said, "What was-" She said as she was interrupted by a flash of light.
As it subsided, a woman stepped out, which Goku realized was Vados. "Oh yeah, Videl, this is Vados. Vados, this is Videl, Gohan's wife." He said, however, Vados waved him off.
"Ara ara~," Vados interjected, "There's no need, I already know about you and all of your friends." She said with a smile.
Goku chuckled a little at that. He then turned to explain Videl this, "Well, Vados-san here is an angel and Chichi's mentor." His eyes widened, "Oh yeah, about the training?" He asked.
Vados gave a short laugh, "Ho ho, no need to worry." She said, "We will start in the afternoon after Lady Chichi has met the rest of her friends."
"Yeah, that's great," Goku said. He then looked at the angel quizzically, "Hey Vados-san, can I ask you something?"
The angel looked at the Saiyan before nodding, "Ask away, Goku-san."
Goku chuckled, "Well, for starters, can you stop calling me Goku-san, it feels weird."
"Only if you stop calling me Vados-san." She smiled back.
The Saiyan nodded, "I can do that. I wanted to ask you why I couldn't feel neither your nor Chichi's ki?" He said, "Back then, I wasn't a good sensor, only feeling super strong kis, like that of Piccolo Daimo, but now I can sense pretty much anything, so why can't I feel yours?"
Vados smiled at that, "That is simple," She said, "Both me and Lady Chichi use a different brand of Ki known as God Ki." She said as she raised her ki slightly, "No mortal can sense God Ki, only those who possess it, such as your son."
Goku and Videl nodded at this before staring at the woman in shock, "Wait, Gohan has God Ki?" Goku asked.
Vados nodded, "Yes, Gohan, being a child of Hakai no Kami, can utilize God Ki, more specifically Hakai no Kami Ki." She then looked into the orb on her sceptre, "In fact, one half of Gohan's ki used to have God Ki. That was the reason why he was able to overpower Cell." She said, "He temporarily tapped into that Ki after your death."
"Man, that's awesome." Goku commented, "Wait, you said used to. What now?"
"I believe Gohan partook in Elder Kai's ritual to unlock his potential, am I correct?" On receiving nods, she elaborated, "Well, because of that, Gohan absorbed a bit of Sozo no Kami's Ki."
"So Gohan has three different Kis in him?" Goku asked.
Vados shook her head, "Not exactly. You see, both the Sozo no Kami and Hakai no Kami use God Ki, the major difference being how they utilize it." She then looked intently at Goku, "He has, at the moment, more God Ki than regular Ki. That is the reason why he can't transform into this Super Saiyan. His God Ki is empowering his Mortal Ki."
"Wait, so you are saying that Gohan can use Super Saiyan with God Ki?" Videl asked.
Vados smiled, "What I am saying is that Gohan, as of now, is not that well trained in God Ki as we are, and because of that, he can't use his Mortal Ki as well." She sat down on a seat that was nearby, "With training, Gohan can use both God Ki and Mortal Ki, maybe even turning Super Saiyan with God Ki on top, a Super Saiyan God, if you will." She said with a small smirk.
(Afternoon)
The family talked till afternoon, with Goku cooking up lunch for them. It was a hearty affair, with Vados and Chichi impressed with the cooking prowess Goku had gained.
"Say, Goku, I have been wondering," Chichi said, "How would you keep up with our training? You don't have God Ki at all."
Goku gave a toothy grin, "Well, I think my new body might help in this case." He said, confusing the two God Ki users. Seeing this, Goku elaborated, "You see, my body seem to have adaptive properties. No matter what my opponent uses, I can adapt to it quite easily." He said as he remembered his fight with Pure Boo. The Majin had used several different magic attacks, and while they did harm Goku first, he soon adapted to it and began to overpower the enemy.
Chichi looked interested at the revelation, "That is an interesting perspective." She said, "Is there anything else I should know about?" She asked.
Goku hummed, "I think I also absorb Ki to refill my reserves also." He wasn't sure about this.
"What do you mean by that?" Vados asked. She was curious about her seemingly new student.
"Well, when I was fighting Boo after I turned into this form-" Goku started but was interrupted by Vados.
"A Primal Saiyan." She said, "This body of yours is quite similar to the Saiyans of old, so I believe it would be best to call this a Primal Saiyan." She stated.
Goku nodded at that, "Yeah, so when I became a Primal Saiyan, I felt my Ki reserves being refilled whenever Boo attacked me as if I was siphoning off his Ki." He then looked at his wife and her attendant, "So, what I think is a good way for me to actually get God Ki is for one of you to shoot me with a Ki Blast until I absorb it permanently into me."
"Absolutely not!" Chichi said as she stood up, pointing a finger at her husband, "I won't partake in any manner of harming you." Her expressions got more serious, "A single Ki blast from me can shatter planets on a bad day, I don't want to find out what would happen if I do the same to a Mortal."
To ease the tension, Videl spoke up, "What if we Pass Ki?" She said.
"Pass Ki?" Chichi asked. She had never heard of this. "Explain."
"Well, Ki Pass is a technique Lazuli and I have created," She started, "Since Lazuli has Infinite Ki, while I have good control, we essentially pass our ki to others to sort of heal."
Chichi nodded at that, "That is a far better method. You need to teach me this technique once we start our training." She said.
Videl's eyes widened at this. She had signed herself up to teach her first student, a Hakai no Kami, no less. She gave herself a thumbs up in her mind. "And it would also allow me to connect more with my daughter in law." Chichi nodded to herself as she said this.
Goku chuckled at that. Things were not the same, well they hadn't been the same since yesterday. "Gohan." He called out to his son.
"Yeah dad," He replied.
"I was wondering if you want to train with us?" He asked, "I mean, you do contain God Ki after all, and with it, you can potentially get stronger, even going Super Saiyan."
Gohan raised an eye at that, "But that isn't possible, the Old Kai unlocked my potential, I can't turn Super Saiyan anymore."
Vados grinned at that, "Oh how wrong you are Son Gohan," She said, "Essentially, your God Ki is interfering with your Mortal Ki. Once we take care of that, you can turn Super Saiyan quite easily."
Gohan looked shocked at the revelation. If he could turn Super Saiyan, then he could potentially match up to dad. Before the final fight with Majin Boo, Gohan was the strongest fighter, if they didn't count Vegito, however, after that, the position of top dog went back to his father who had achieved this Primal Saiyan form.
While they were talking, the phone rang. "I'll get it." Goku said as he went to accept the call, recognizing the caller, "Hey Yamcha, what's up?" He greeted.
"Nothing much Goku. Ize and I were wondering if you were okay." The Desert Bandit said.
"Well, I'm better, much better," Goku replied happily.
"Why's that?" Yamcha wondered.
"Well, Chichi came back." Goku replied, "She came back." He repeated with a whisper, a smile on his face. The voice on the other end went silent, "Uh, Yamcha?" He called out.
However, instead of Yamcha, it was a feminine voice that replied, one that Goku instantly recognized, "Are you sure it's Chichi?" Ize asked, "After all, with your luck, it could be some fake." She suggested.
"Nah, it's her."
"How can you be so sure?" Ize asked, worried for her friend's safety.
"I can feel it," Goku said with a smile as he looked at his family, finally complete.
(Outside)
Sometimes later, they all had piled into Gohan's car as they decided to meet some of their friends. Chichi was ecstatic on meeting her old friends, whom she had not met for years.
She looked at Gohan, who was in the driver's seat. "Tell me again why we are not flying to Yamcha's place?" She asked. She couldn't understand why her son was doing that.
"Oh, that's because Videl isn't that skilled in flying, but I am still teaching her," Gohan replied. "Usually when we need to go to a nearby area, we fly, but since we live in Hercule City compared to dad, who lives here in Mount Paozu, we need this car, otherwise Videl will tire." He explained.
Chichi didn't agree with that but still accepted the explanation, "That reminds me, why didn't you get this Drivers License?" She asked Goku.
Goku giggled nervously, "Yeah, about that…" He started but was cut off by Videl.
"Yeah, dad has his License, it's just that, he is a daredevil at heart." She said, remembering the one time she sat with Goku. She wasn't sure how the agency allowed him to get his License, as half of the time, he was nearing the speed limit.
Chichi raised an eye at that, "Yeah, I dunno why, but the cars seem quite slow to me." Goku said, "No matter how hard I try to follow the rules, it seems as if the Saiyan blood in me wants to be competitive."
Chichi nodded at that, "That's great. Who are we going to see first?" She asked since she was curious, and she did not like being kept cooped up. While the backseat did have enough space for three people, Goku's huge muscular frame took most of the space, squishing the Hakai no Kami in between him and Vados.
Sensing the discomfort his wife was having, Goku shifted a little, allowing Chichi to have more space. Vados noticed this and smirked, "Perhaps Lady Chichi would prefer sitting on Goku-san's lap rather than on the seat."
"Yeah, you're right," Goku said as he shifted again, this time grabbing Chichi and placing her in between his lap, causing the Hakai no Kami to blush. "Are you feeling better now?" He asked.
Chichi calmly nodded as she rested on her husband. "Yeah, it's better." She said with a smile. Goku smiled at that as well as he calmly placed his hand atop her head as he rubbed it. "Who are we going to see first?" She asked again.
Goku hummed at that, "Well, Yamcha and Ize first, since they are the only ones that know about you." He replied.
"I still can't believe that Yamcha actually hooked up with Ize." She said, "Wasn't he enamoured with Bulma?" She couldn't fathom what had happened that lead them to that situation.
"Well, from what I remember, after Yamcha had been revived, their relationship had been quite rocky, since the year apart showed that they weren't as dependent as they thought themselves to be." Goku started, "Then once Vegeta came, Bulma spent more time with him."
"So they broke up?" Chichi asked.
"Yeah, thankfully, it was a mutual breakup." Her husband replied, "Then Ize arrived, and well, you know the rest."
"Interesting tale Goku," Vados stated, "Though I am more curious about this Vegeta. Is he on the same level as you?" She asked. If she had more Saiyan students, then she could understand the current biology of Goku's body.
"Well, when I had my previous body, we were equals, though I had Super Saiyan 3, something he didn't have. But ever since we defeated Boo, he also has accessed Super Saiyan 3, but he can't control it properly. I think it is because he has no tail."
"Yeah, on that topic, how did you get your tail back?" Chichi asked.
"Well, when I was wished back from the Otherworld for the second time, a new body had to be made for me since my other body had been blown up by Cell." Goku started as Chichi made a mental note to deal with this Cell. "And well, my new body had my tail. It made controlling my Super Saiyan forms quite easier." He said.
Vados hummed at the information, perhaps this would be an interesting student after all. "How long would this take?" Chichi asked as she rested on her husband. While she didn't disagree with this, she still had an image to maintain.
"Well, around two hours, more or less," Gohan said.
'I suppose this isn't all bad.' Chichi thought as Goku's arms enveloped her lovingly. She could get used to this.
Chapter Two is done, and I believe this story will have around ten chapters. This story will be cut into each arc, each being their different story. And don't worry, I will compile them into one big story when the entire story is completed.
