Living situations

A guest asked for a oneshot of *season 6 finale spoilers!* Snowing being extremely protective after the final battle.

"You know, your new home truly is lovely, and we appreciate that we've got rooms as well, but it's been a week since we've seen our own home." Emma pointed out, trying to make a joke about it.

"Oh, you'll get back soon Em. We just need help with a few more bits and bobs." Snow said, brushing her off.

"Besides, it's nice spending the time with you, since I'm not at the station anymore. I'm enjoying showing you how to ride. It's easier with you here." Emma sighed. Subtly was apparently not going to work.

"Guys, I know it was a hard time, but we're just a few blocks away." Emma told them. "Nothing is going to happen. We've earned our happily ever after. It's time to start living it."

"Our happily ever after involves you." Snow pointed out. "And it's a lot easier to live it when I know you're all safe."

"We never want to be separated again." Charming said, backing Snow up. "We didn't just get you your own rooms so you could help us move." Charming said. Emma's eyes widened. They wanted them to move in.

"Gee guys, I don't know." Emma said awkwardly. "Wouldn't things get awkward?"

"This house is massive, Emma, there's more than enough room for all of us." Snow pointed out. "We still have spare rooms, even with you three here. It's not like the loft apartment, we're not living in each other's pockets. Please, just think it over? For us? I miss not seeing you every day."

"You basically do see me every day." Emma pointed out.

"It's still not the same." Snow said sadly. "I miss not living with my daughter. Remember, I'm still twenty-eight years behind. Maternally, you're like a toddler to me. It's weird not having you around." Emma sighed. She did miss the closeness.

"I'll talk it through with Killian and Henry." She promised. Snow almost squealed in delight. Her and Charming both swooped down and kissed one of Emma's cheeks each. Emma rolled her eyes playfully. She did have a lot of family time to make up for.
