Wet- part 3

Fiona2832 asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2832 "Wet- part 2" where Emma has a nightmare whilst Snow is sitting with her and she comforts her. Combining in the guest's request for a 3rd instalment to this chapter as well where Emma has another accident and goes to her mom for comfort even though she's really embarrassed.

Even after Emma fell asleep, Snow couldn't bring herself to leave her daughter's side. Emma hadn't let go of her hand, and Snow just couldn't seem to make her little girl let go. Emma had spent so long without any parental comfort, it seemed almost cruel to make her give it up now when she was asking for it. So Snow sat curled up by her daughter's side. She couldn't sleep, not after finding out Emma was having nightmares. So instead, Snow found herself lost in a daydream of sorts. That was until Emma suddenly cried out in her sleep.

Snow leapt into action.

"Shh, it's ok." Snow whispered, stroking Emma's hair. "I'm here, princess. I'm here. No more nightmares." Snow tried her best to comfort her. Emma was still tossing and turning violently, yelling out about her heart. "Cora's not got your heart, baby girl. It's right here." Snow said, placing her hand over the left side of Emma's chest. "Right where it should be." Snow promised her. Emma's eyes flew open as she gasped. Her hand reached out and took hold of Snow's wrist, terrified. Snow smiled down at her.

"You're ok." Snow promised her. "I'm here. I'm still here." Emma burst into tears. She suddenly sat up and flung her arms around her mom.

"It-it happened again!" Emma wailed. Snow was about to ask what she meant, but then the stench hit her. She felt heart sorry for her little girl. The experience of nearly having her heart stolen was bad enough, without having to relive it each and every night. Then there was this humiliating situation for her to contend with.

"Shh." Snow said, holding Emma close and rocking her ever so slightly. "It's alright. It's not a problem. I can sort it." Snow promised her daughter. Snow moved off of the bed and helped Emma out. "You go and have a shower. It's late enough now. I'll sort your bed out." Snow promised her. Emma was mortified.

"You really don't have to…"

"Nonsense." Snow told her. "It's my job to help." Snow promised her. "Go on, I've got this." Emma nodded. Suddenly, she flung her arms around her mother again. Snow gently squeezed her. "It's what I'm here for." Snow whispered, answering the silent thank you. Now that Snow was back in her life, she would never again allow Emma to feel scared, hurt, or alone.
