Sinkhole- part 2

A guest asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2510 "Sinkhole" with Snowing being super clingy.

Snow and Charming tried their hardest to be able to stay with Emma from the second she went inside the hospital doors. They knew how much she hated hospitals. But even they, the royal rulers from the Enchanted Forest, couldn't overrule the hospital staff saying they had to wait outside, but as soon as they were allowed, they were both back by Emma's side. They had got a full report from the doctors regarding Emma's injuries. By all accounts, she was incredibly lucky. With a fall as big as she had, she should be a heck of a lot more injured, if not dead. Hearing how bad things could have been frightened the parents to the bone. Charming had seen how bad she was at the bottom. He was terrified if he took his eyes off her for more than a second she might relapse. They pitied the person who came in and tried to tell them visiting hours were long over. As far as they were concerned, they weren't leaving. Emma needed them.

The painkillers the hospital had put Emma on had knocked her for six. She drifted in and out of consciousness, each time seeking out a friendly face. As soon as she saw at least one of her parents, she simply smiled and drifted back to sleep.

"She gave me such a scare." Snow whispered as Emma slept.

"Me too." Charming admitted. Seeing Emma lying there at the bottom of that pit…he never wanted to see his daughter like that again. "I know we're probably being a bit overprotective, sitting her like this. Whale's said she'll be fine and she just needs time to heal. But I won't leave until I see it for myself." He said stubbornly.

"I feel the same." Snow told her. They knew Emma didn't seen constant supervision, but they couldn't help themselves. She was their daughter, and seeing her so injured had shaken them to their very core. Until they felt stable in the knowledge that Emma was going to be ok they'd remain right where they were: right by her side.
