Chapter 10
Isuke was not pleased. The previous night, she received a text from Haruki saying that she won't be able to have breakfast with her together because Aimi had asked her for breakfast meeting to discuss about their project. And during their Science class today, Aimi sat next to Haruki to discuss about their soil sample collection activity after school later.
Aimi kept on pushing Haruki for a time to meet after school for the soil sample collection later. She preferred it to be straight after school, but Haruki had politely declined and proposed a different time. However, the bubbly girl just wouldn't get the hint and she fucking pouted at Haruki. Isuke was already on the verge of shouting profanities at the girl for being a pushy dumbass.
Kouko was telling Tokaku and Isuke about something related to the project, but Isuke wasn't paying attention. She was too busy sending dagger glares at the bubbly dumbass who was now giggling coquettishly at something Haruki said.
Isuke hated the sight in front of her, so she folded her arms on the table and covered her face, shutting herself out from the world as she started to drift off. This earned a glare from Kouko and Tokaku, which Haruki quickly pacified by offering to take notes on behalf of Isuke.
When it was time for recess, Isuke thought she could have lunch with Haruki without that dumb bimbo clinging onto the redhead. She walked into the school cafeteria with Nio in tow, and made a beeline to the usual table that Haruki always sits with Tokaku and Haru. She saw the familiar redhead sitting together with her friends in her line of sight, but as she got nearer, Aimi was already there, sitting next to Haruki.
She faltered in her footsteps, which Nio noticed. The blonde looked like she wanted to say something, but she bit her tongue and just waited for Isuke's cue. She had learned by now that Sagae Haruki is a touchy subject for Isuke.
Isuke recovered quickly and squared her shoulders, before walking confidently towards the table and placed her tray of food down across from Haruki and sat down in front of the redhead. Needless to say, Haruki, Haru and Tokaku were surprised to see Isuke joining them for lunch.
"What are you doing here?" Tokaku asked.
"What does it look like I'm doing? Having lunch with my Science group members, what else?" Isuke replied curtly.
"Kouko didn't say anything about us needing to sit together to discuss about our project during lunch," Tokaku said.
"Well, I'm sorry, but I thought you guys were discussing about the project while having lunch, since the three of you are sitting together and Haru is always with you because the two of you are like a married couple," Isuke said, sarcasm dripping from her voice.
"Well, your logic is flawed because Kouko's not here, that trash is here with you too, and since when did you care about the project? All you ever did were disappearing and sleeping in the middle of the discussion," Tokaku replied. "So tell me. Why are you really here? To torment Haru?"
When Isuke didn't answer immediately, Haruki spoke up, "Tokaku, it's ok. Isuke-sama hasn't tormented Haru for a very long time already," Haruki said. "You can confirm with Haru."
"Yeah, come to think of it, she hasn't," Haru said innocently.
"Why are you always defending her, Haruki?" Tokaku asked unhappily. "Are you two friends now?"
"Nah, Haruki is just nice and kind," Aimi said, her eyes filled with awe and admiration for the redhead.
Isuke wanted to gag. Maybe having lunch with them is a bad idea. And since when had Aimi started calling Haruki without any honorific?
"Fine. I can see when I'm not wanted." Isuke took her tray and got up to leave.
"What? Don't be ridiculous, Isuke-sama. You're welcomed to have lunch with us anytime. Just sit down," Haruki said. Just like that, Isuke immediately sat down.
Haruki turned to look at Tokaku. "Isuke is one of our Science project group members. And that automatically makes her my friend. If you have any problem with that, Tokaku, you can just treat her as a classmate and nothing more and I will leave with her to another table."
There was a pregnant pause as Isuke looked at Haruki with a grateful smile for standing up for her. However, she immediately rolled her eyes when she saw Aimi looking at Haruki like she was some sort of a Goddess to be worshipped, not realizing that she was also looking at Haruki the same way.
"Tokaku, don't be like that," Haru said placatingly to her girlfriend. "I don't have any problem with Isuke-san having lunch with us. In fact, I'm glad that she wants to be friends with us. It says a lot about her making an effort to change!"
Nio nearly spit her green tea when she heard Haru said something about Isuke changing. She couldn't believe that she is the only one who knows what really is going on here.
"Fine, do whatever. It's not like I'm the leader of this group and the table and chairs don't belong to anyone. It's a free country," Tokaku muttered, earning a squeal of happiness from Haru. A small smile tugged on Tokaku's lips upon seeing her girlfriend so happy by the littlest and most random thing.
"Waahhhhh the two of you here are so pussy-whipped it's so funny!" Nio suddenly burst out laughing after watching the whole exchange.
"Who're the two? And what's pussy-whipped?" Aimi asked innocently.
Nio was about to open her mouth to answer Aimi's innocent question, when Isuke flicked her forehead. "Shut up, Nio or I'll kick you out."
Haruki didn't miss the way Isuke's face reddened at Nio's sudden remark. She knows what pussy-whipped means, but she didn't really get what Nio meant by that remark. But seeing how Isuke was affected by it tugged at her heartstrings. She didn't know she was staring at Isuke until Isuke turned her attention back to her food. As Isuke turned her head, she sensed that Haruki was staring at her so she looked at Haruki for a brief second. And for a brief second, their gazes were locked onto each other. Isuke internally panicked, wondering if Haruki knew that she was embarrassed by Nio's remark or not. But she couldn't tear her eyes away from Haruki, who was looking at her with such affection in her eyes across from her.
Suddenly, an annoying voice tore Isuke's eyes away from Haruki. "Ohhhh Haruki! This is sooo niiiice! You should try this!" It was Aimi gushing over a piece of salmon sushi.
Haruki turned to look at Aimi, who was already offering the piece of salmon sushi for her. "Say aaaaahhhh, Haruki," Aimi said, coaxing the taller girl to open her mouth, attempting to feed her.
"Heh, it's ok, Aimi-san," Haruki rejected politely.
"But I insist, Haruki! It's really mouth-watering delicious!"
After a few rejections from Haruki, but Aimi still didn't get the hint, Isuke couldn't take it anymore. She reached over and took the sushi from Aimi. "Can't you see that Haruki's not interested? So, Isuke will just take it!" she said, before putting the sushi into her mouth and swallowed it quickly. "There! Happy now?" She cast an angry look at Aimi, while Haruki just looked on, dumbfounded by what had just happened. Nio looked at the scene before her with an amusing smile on her lips. Tokaku just sighed and continued with her lunch, while Haru was as dumbfounded as Haruki.
Haruki almost felt sorry for Aimi as the bubbly girl continued with her lunch sadly. Everyone ate their lunch quietly after that. Isuke suddenly pushed her plate away, having done with her food although there were still about a quarter left. She never finished her food.
"Isuke-sama, you don't want that anymore?" Haruki asked.
"I'm full already. You can have it if you want," Isuke offered absent-mindedly as she reached for her drink. Nio knew Isuke well enough to understand the meaning behind Isuke's words. Usually, when Isuke offered someone of lower status her food, she was actually taunting them for being too poor to afford food on their table. However, Nio noted that there wasn't any trace of malice in Isuke's voice.
Haruki reached over and took Isuke's plate and placed it in front of her. "Thanks," she said before taking a bite from her plate.
They were so used to eating food from the same bento box every morning that they had forgotten that to other people, it is their first time seeing this whole exchange between the two of them. If Nio still had any doubts, this one single event had confirmed for her that Isuke had it bad for Haruki. Real bad.
"Awwww… Haruki…" Aimi suddenly whined. "Why are you willing to eat Isuke-san's leftover food but you won't eat the fresh sushi that I gave you just now?"
Haruki was caught off-guard that she choked on her food while trying to reply Aimi. Nio looked at Isuke for any reaction, and she was not disappointed. For the second time that day, in just a span of few minutes, she had witnessed the great Isuke blushing again.
"Oh dear, Haruki are you alright? Here, take a sip of water." Aimi offered a glass of water for Haruki while patting her back.
"Wow, the two of you sure are familiar with sharing each other's food, huh?" Nio said slyly. "It doesn't look like it's the first time, either."
Isuke blushed even harder and Haruki choked even harder on her food, while Aimi was trying to calm Haruki down. Next to Haruki, Tokaku raised an eyebrow while looking at them suspiciously. Haru, who was sitting next to Isuke, was looking at them curiously.
"Nah, it's their first time doing this together. I'd know because Haruki always has lunch with us," Haru said, unaware of the innuendo she had just implied.
"First time doing 'it' together, huh?" Nio said, adding fuel to the fire, which confused Aimi even more. She knew she should stop and she would probably get another earful from Isuke later, but this is too golden for her to pass up. Seeing Isuke blush even redder is worth it.
After gulping the whole glass of water down, Haruki finally managed to stop coughing. "I just like this food, that's all," she explained to Aimi.
"Yeah, you like Isuke's food, alright," Nio agreed, a sly smile on her face as she put emphasis on the word 'food' rather seductively. It was now Haruki's turn to blush. Isuke wished she could kill Nio right now.
"Oh my God, what's with all these double entrende, Kuzunoha? Are you five or something?" Tokaku said, annoyed.
Isuke had never felt so thankful for Tokaku before, but she would never admit it. She was about to say a biting remark to Nio, when the school bell rang, signaling the end of recess. "Saved by the bell," Nio thought, smiling to herself.
"So, let's hang out together after school today, Isuke. At your favourite pizza place," Nio asked her friend two days later while Isuke was taking her books out from her locker.
Normally, Isuke would always reply that she is either too tired or busy to get rid of Nio so that she could hang out with Haruki, but lately, Haruki had been busy with Aimi due to the Science project. Aimi had successfully convinced Haruki to collect soil samples straight after class, and once that was done, Haruki would go to work straightaway, leaving her no time to hang out with Isuke. She did send an apology text to Isuke and said she will make it up to her during breakfast, but Isuke was so fed up that she decided to cancel breakfast altogether. They hadn't hung out together after that, except for lunch during recess, but Aimi was always there with them. This pissed Isuke off, but she couldn't do anything about it because she didn't want to get embarrassed again.
Because Kouko was a perfectionist and an overachiever, she wanted Aimi and Haruki to collect more soil samples, hence the reason why this activity has been dragged for so long. This, of course frustrated Isuke but delighted Aimi even more. And of course, the clueless Haruki just went along with it.
"Why? What's so special about today?" Isuke asked noncommitally.
"Are you seriously forgetting your own birthday?" Nio asked incredulously. "I know that we used to always go to Sumireko's house every year for your birthday, but since we are no longer in her circle, why not go to your favourite pizza place."
Oh, that's right. It's her birthday today. But she had never considered her birthday to be special. Her birthday would only remind her of her failure as a big sister. Her parents did try to get her into the mood of celebrating her birthdays again, just like they always did when she was young, but she had stopped celebrating her birthdays with them ever since her relationship with them soured. Celebrating her birthdays with them would only cause all the bad memories to come back to her, putting her into an endless cycle of rage all over again. So, in order to avoid this awkward tension with her parents, she would always go to Sumireko's house with Nio every year during her birthday, under the pretense of celebrating it with her friends. In the end, her parents had given up and would just transfer one hundred thousand yen to her bank account and text her happy birthday on her birthday nights, before flying off to meet another client to close another multi-million dollar business deal.
Isuke couldn't care less about her birthday. This year, she didn't really have anyone to celebrate it with, and she didn't really feel like celebrating it with Nio. Furthermore, she had not tear Nio a new one for making all these lame double entrende jokes that day during recess.
When Isuke took a particular long time to answer, Nio looked in the direction that Isuke was looking at and she saw what was distracting her dear friend. Of course, it was Haruki, and a certain bubbly girl who had become Isuke's object of anger. Haru was there too, but of course, she was a non-entity to Isuke.
Aimi was clinging onto Haruki's arm while talking to her, while Haruki looked uncomfortable but she didn't shake her off. Haru looked like she was about to burst out laughing.
Nio sighed. "You know, Isuke. I was just kidding when I said Sagae is not good for your reputation, right?"
That got her attention. "What? I'm not seeking for your approval." Then she quickly caught herself. "Besides, I don't know what you're talking about."
"Cut the act out. First, you told me you could give blue-collared workers a chance. Then, you told me you don't have that low of a standard. We may not be childhood friends, but I've known you since we were in junior high and I can see right through you. You like her, very much so. I'd go as far as to say that you love her, even. And I know it's a scary feeling for you, because, heck, I've never seen you looking so forlorn pining after someone before. It was fun watching you getting all flustered and sad, but now it's starting to get on my nerves," Nio said earnestly, without teasing her friend at all. "So, just get your act together and tell her how you feel already."
Isuke blinked several times while looking at Nio. She knows what she's feeling in her heart, but hearing someone spell it out so clearly for her made it even scarier for her. And Nio being all honest and shit made it even more real.
"Well, I guess you got me then," she said finally, sounding defeated.
"You aren't that hard to read, y'know?" Nio said with a chuckle.
Wordlessly, Isuke closed her locker and and was about to walk away when Nio asked, "Wait, how about your birthday later?"
"No, I'm not feeling it. You can go there yourself if you want," Isuke said and walked away.
Nio looked at her friend's retreating back and sighed. Isuke was always sad on her birthdays, but this year, with no one celebrating it with her, she would feel even sadder. Nio wasn't about to let that happen, so she formulated a plan inside her head.
As Isuke walked away, she didn't notice that Haruki was looking at her. Aimi had already left for class, so it's just Haru and Haruki now.
"I think she likes you. Inukai-san, I mean. Not Aimi-san because she's very obvious," Haru told Haruki.
"Oh you and your imaginary fangirls for me again, huh?" Haruki joked half-heartedly. She was not in the mood to talk about Isuke with anyone because she was suffering from Isuke withdrawal, if that was even a thing.
"No, I'm not talking about fangirls. She's like legitly in love with you. Like more than a crush or more than worshipping you. I always see how she's sending dagger glares at Aimi-san whenever she gets near you. It's so obvious that she's jealous.
"Haha very funny, Haru," Haruki said mirthlessly and walked away. Isuke couldn't be in love with her, could she?
Isuke found that she didn't have much appetite during recess. She kept on playing around with her food. Haruki wanted to ask her what's wrong, but she didn't want everyone else to get the wrong idea, like that time she ate Isuke's leftovers. They didn't do that ever since that day.
Nio decided to put her plan into motion. "So, are you guys free to hang out after school later?"
"No," Tokaku said immediately. "Haru and I are busy."
"Oh, me and Haruki have to go collect some samples again straight after school," Aimi said. "Isn't that right, Haruki?"
"Y-yeah, that's right," she said carefully while stealing a glance at Isuke, who was now glaring angrily at her food. She knows that Isuke didn't like the idea of her always collecting soil samples with Aimi, but it wasn't her fault that Kouko was making them collect more.
"Oh, that's too bad," Nio said. "'Cause it's Isuke's birthday today and I was thinking of inviting all of you to her favourite pizza place to celebrate it with her."
Isuke's eyes widened in disbelief at the blonde. "What are you doing? I said I don't wanna celebrate it," Isuke hissed.
"Awww it's your birthday today, Isuke-san? Why didn't you say anything?" Haru said happily.
"Because it's not a big deal," Isuke huffed, earning a scoff from Tokaku. "And ignore Nio, because she is too stupid to understand that some people have more important things to do than to celebrate some stupid birthday," she added.
"But it's your birthday. We have to celebrate it, don't we, Tokaku?" Haru said.
"No, we don't have to," Isuke said adamantly.
Haruki who had been unusually quiet, suddenly spoke up. "I'll be there. Just tell me the time and place. I'll reschedule all my appointments." The last sentence is more meant for Isuke.
Isuke looked at Haruki, who was now smiling widely at her. She felt all the tension in her body gone and all it takes was just one simple sentence from Haruki.
"See, Haruki wants to celebrate it with you," Nio said, nudging Isuke. "So, what say you, birthday girl?"
"Fine. Let's celebrate it then," Isuke muttered while glancing quickly at Haruki. This earned an even bigger smile from Haruki.
"I guess we can reschedule our soil sample collection," Aimi mumbled, disheartened that she couldn't get to spend alone time with Haruki. Great. Isuke had forgotten about Aimi's existence.
"But if Haruki's going, then I'm going too!" she said cheerfully.
"No, you're not invited," Nio said hurriedly. "Only Isuke's close friends are invited. Are you her close friend? I don't think so."
"Hey, we're in the same Science project together. And why is Haru-san invited then, huh? She's not even close with her until recently!" Aimi argued.
"You're all invited, alright?!" Isuke said suddenly. "Just get your ass to my birthday party after school later. Nio will send the location to you guys."
While Nio and Aimi started arguing again, Isuke looked across the table to seek out a pair of golden eyes that were already looking at her warmly. Their gazes locked and something unspoken was being communicated between the two of them.
After school ended, the five of them were seated inside the pizza restaurant. As usual, Haruki wasn't there yet as she always has punctuality issues even though she already said she would cancel all her appointments. Isuke kept a calm face while ordering her food, but internally she was disappointed. Why wasn't Haruki here yet? Why is she always late?
As if reading her mind, Nio whispered into Isuke's ear, "Stop fidgeting, Isuke. Haruki will be here any moment."
Isuke scowled at Nio. "I'm not fidgeting."
"Ahhhh Haruki texted me to order anything on her behalf. She said she needs to take care of something first," Aimi chirped happily.
This seemed to plummet Isuke's mood even further. "And how do you know what to order for her?" Nio asked suspiciously.
"I know her favourites! We always have snacks together after our soil sample collections. This will be her favourite!" Aimi said, while pointing to the chilli flavoured pizza.
"Are you sure?" Haru asked. "I've never seen Haruki eating spicy food before."
"I'm sure! Trust me!" Aimi said, and was about to order, when Haruki walked into the restaurant. "Ahhh Haruki, there you are! I saved a seat for you!" Aimi pointed to the empty seat beside her.
Haruki hesitated for a moment because she'd really like to sit next to Isuke, but it was already occupied by Nio. Nio seemed to sense that and immediately got up.
"Don't be silly! Haruki has to sit next to the birthday girl! Haruki, you sit here!" Nio said while gesturing for Haruki to sit on her chair.
"Thanks, Nio," Haruki said and sat down next to Isuke, before flashing a goofy smile at the birthday girl.
"Awww… then I'll sit in front of Haruki!" Aimi said happily and changed her place. Nio rolled her eyes and went to sit on Aimi's previous seat, which was in front of Isuke.
Haru and Tokaku were too lost in their own world sharing their drinks to notice the comical exchange.
"So, Haruki," Aimi began. "I'm gonna order this pizza flavor for you because I know it's your favourite."
"Since when do you eat spicy food, Haruki?" Haru asked.
Haruki laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of her head. She turned to look at Isuke, who was being very quiet. "What are you having, Isuke-sama?" she asked.
"Just beef pepperoni," Isuke answered.
"It's her favourite!" Nio supplied unnecessarily.
"Then I'll have the same thing as Isuke-sama," Haruki said without thinking and closed the menu.
"You don't have t-" Isuke began, but was interrupted by Nio.
"That's great!" Nio said a bit too enthutiastically and clapped her hand. "I'll ask the waiter to change the pepperoni pizza to large so that the two of you can share!" She quickly took off before Isuke could stop her.
"Awww… too bad I've already ordered mine, otherwise I'd like to share with you too, Haruki," Aimi whined pathetically.
Isuke narrowed her eyes and glared at Aimi, suddenly feeling competitive. She had never felt the need to compete for someone's attention or affection before, but she told herself that she would worry about how silly she was becoming later.
Half an hour later, all their food had arrived and all of them started eating. Haru and Tokaku were being annoyingly romantic, feeding each other food. Isuke felt a sense of satisfaction washing over her as she was sharing her pizza with Haruki, instead of that dumb bimbo sharing it with Haruki, when Aimi suddenly cut a slice of her pizza and put it on Haruki's plate.
"Here, Haruki. Try mine. You'll love it!" Aimi said.
Haruki wanted to reject, but she remembered Aimi's reaction when she rejected her food before. She didn't want to disappoint Aimi again so she took a bite of her pizza, albeit reluctantly.
"What do you think? It's nice, right?" Aimi asked. "You should eat more real food other than Pocky. Which reminds me, I bought a new Pocky flavor for you. I forgot to bring it today but I'll give it to you tomorrow."
Something inside Isuke snapped and she stabbed her pizza angrily with her fork like as if the pizza had wronged her. Nobody buys Pocky for Haruki but her. Haruki noticed it and was about to calm Isuke down but Aimi just wouldn't shut up.
"Oh and Haruki, after our soil sample collection tomorrow, I was thinking that we could go to that new restaurant that you've been talking about these past few days."
What new restaurant? Isuke decided she had had enough. She pushed her plate away and stood up to leave without a word. She didn't need to sit here and listen to Aimi's and Haruki's private conversation on her birthday.
"Isuke, you haven't finished your pizza yet! It's your favourite!" Nio called after her.
Haruki immediately excused herself and left the restaurant after Isuke. "Haruki, wait for me!" Aimi said and was about to get up, but she was pulled back down by Nio.
"Hey, Aimi. Why don't you help me finish their pizza? Here, I'll finish Isuke's portion while you take Haruki's," Nio said, to which the bubbly girl agreed happily because she couldn't pass up the chance to eat Haruki's leftovers.
Isuke couldn't believe how dumb she was to think that Haruki would cancel all her appointments just to spend time with her to celebrate her birthday. It was just an excuse for Haruki to spend more time with Aimi. Both of them had been spending so much time together now, even Haruki had told Aimi about going to a new restaurant with her!
"Maybe it's for the best," Isuke thought forlornly to herself as she exited the restaurant. "Both of them are good for each other and Haruki deserves someone who is better than me."
"Hey, Isuke wait!" Isuke heard Haruki calling after her, but she didn't stop. Instead, she quickened her pace. "Isuke!" Haruki shouted as she caught up to the pinkette. "Why did you leave all of a sudden?"
"Because Isuke's sick," the playgirl quipped.
"What? Are you having a fever?" Haruki asked, concerned as she placed her hand on Isuke's forehead.
"Not that kind of sick, idiot!" Isuke said, slapping Haruki's hand away. "Look, I'm fine. Just go back and enjoy Aimi's pizza 'cause it looks like you enjoy her company more than mine now. And she knows everything about you now, from your favourite pizza flavor to the new Pocky flavor to your favourite restaurant."
Haruki narrowed her eyes suspiciously at Isuke's sarcasm. "What is this? It seems like you're putting me in a spot to choose between the two of you. I shouldn't have to choose friends. It's like you're being ridiculously jealous over my friendship with Aimi."
"Yes! That's just it, isn't it?! We're just friends! And I'm just stupid being jealous, or whatever it is that I'm feeling over your just friendship with Aimi, who by the way, is all over you. You… you blind clueless idiot, who cares about nothing but just a box of Pocky!" Isuke yelled exasperatedly, while poking her finger accusingly at Haruki's shoulder. She is done. Done with everything. She had finally accepted the fact that she is jealous. She turned to leave again, but was stopped by Haruki's hand on her arm, turning her around.
Isuke struggled to move away, but Haruki placed her hands on her waist, locking her in that position. "I may be an idiot, Isuke-sama, but it would make me the happiest idiot in the world if you're really jealous."
"Let me g… what?" Isuke was struggling halfway when Haruki dropped that line on her so smoothly, like she has done this before with other girls.
Isuke stopped struggling and just stood still, staring at Haruki, who was staring back at her intently. Haruki had her suspicions and denial, and while she didn't have the experience, she went along with her instincts. Gently, she cupped Isuke's left cheek with her right hand and caressed her face with her thumb. The reaction she got from Isuke was immediate. The pink-haired girl sighed and leaned into her touch, her eyelashes fluttering.
Haruki's heart rate picked up, as she couldn't believe what she had just said, what had happened and most importantly, that Isuke felt this way about her. A million conflicting thoughts ran through her mind: Sumireko's assignment for her, her financial problem, the loan sharks, the rumours about Isuke that she is an easy lay. But she pushed it all away because right now, Isuke is right in front of her. The beautiful, gorgeous Isuke who had been occupying her thoughts recently, is standing right in front of her, so close and so soft.
Isuke suddenly realized that her hands have their minds of their own as they suddenly moved to Haruki's shoulders and pulled her closer. Her eyes slipped down to Haruki's full lips. Before she could stop herself, she licked her lips.
Upon seeing Isuke licking her lips, Haruki couldn't contain herself any longer. Giving into her feelings instead of her logic, she closed the distance between them and planted a gentle, shy, experimental kiss on Isuke's soft lips. When she felt Isuke's lips moving underneath hers, she pulled Isuke even closer and wrapped her arms around Isuke's waist. Isuke responded by wrapping her arms around Haruki's shoulder even tighter and melted into the kiss.
Eventually, both of them parted as they needed to breathe. Isuke had kissed many girls before, but none of them made her feel the things that Haruki made her feel. She leaned her forehead against Haruki's and panted. Haruki wasn't any far off, as she was trying hard to catch her breath too. Isuke just couldn't believe that she had finally kissed the girl who she had been longing for for months. There was no denying the inevitable; she genuinely liked Haruki not as someone for her to toy with, but as a person with feelings, likes and dislikes. She wasn't about to let Haruki go that easily, so she pulled her in for another kiss, this time, with tongues involved.
And oh yeah, someone left a review that they don't like my "M" chapter because it's always Isuke. Can you elaborate further on that?
But, if you mean what I think you mean... well, Isuke's a sexual being, and she has more free time on her hands than Haruki. While Haruki, well... she will get her turn soon. Don't worry.
