Kagome had bought sooo much! It was a good thing we brought Sota. But how does she fit it all into that school bus yellow bag?! HOW DOES SHE CARRY THAT BAG OF ENDLESS SPACE?!

Tiered of questioning it, I took a bath after Kagome and slipped into some pajamas she had lain out for me. The shirt had much more breast space then I needed…

"Kagome, what cup are you?" I asked.

"Size 'Mind Your Own Business'!" She replied.

"Someone's embarrassed…" I sang out softly.

"Oh! We should go karaoke tomorrow!" Kagome suggested.

"I'd love to and all, but like you said, Sesshomaru's protective and possessive. He's probably not going to talk to me all of tomorrow for leaving my leash."

"Oh…"

"But there's always tonight! We can still have a sleep over!"

"I don't know…"

"C'mon! It's only 7!"

"Fine, fine! I'll go call Eri, Yuka, and Ayumi."

"Yay! Sleepover, sleepover!" I chanted. "I'll go get the ice cream!"

"Haven't you had enough ice cream?"

"No! so long as it has chocolate in it, I will never have enough chocolate!"

I jumped off the futon I had spread out with Kagome's help and ran down the stairs. I asked Ms. Higurashi if we could have a sleepover, and she chuckled lightly before agreeing. I did a cartwheel into the kitchen. Well, I tried to and ended up hitting the edge of the counter with my foot, and landing on my butt.

"Ow!" I cried as I held onto my heel.

As I rubbed my heel, I could have sworn I heard a camera shutter. Ignoring my slight insanity, I got the fudge, caramel, sprinkles, marshmallows, peanut butter, almonds, and sea salt and stuck them into the refridgerator. We had lots of vanilla and chocolate ice cream, so that should be enough. I looked through all the movies they had, and chose two. We would be lucky if we got to one. I did a little twirl with my eyes closed before striking a pose.

"I scream! You scream! We all scream for Ice scream! No, we all scream for ICE CREAM! What? OH! I scream is close to ICE cream. Ha, I confused myself."

"Okay! Eri, Yuka, and Ayumi are on their way. Let's pull out some futons."

"Yes ma'am!"

We got to work, moving chairs and tables to make one large area of space. We then proceeded to pull out futons and covers. We made sure there was enough space for karaoke too. I went to the shed to bring out the machine as Kagome popped popcorn and put candy in different bowls. We set up just in time. Eri was the first to come, then Yuka, then Ayumi.

"Who's ready for ice cream?!" I suggested first as I brought out all the things.

"You can still eat that stuff?" Eri asked.

"Of course! Would you all mind if I took the chocolate, and you all share the vanilla?" I answered.

"Not at all. You have fun with that." Yuka said after they all agreed.

"Thank you soo much!"

I got an ice cream scoop and started on my first bowl. Yuka was the first one up on karaoke. She wasn't as bad as I thought, setting the standard pretty high for the rest of us. I was on my fourth bowl when Ayumi and Yuka pushed me and Kagome up on stage. I was sure to take the bowl of ice cream with me.

"What?" I asked after swallowing the last bite of my fourth bowl.

"You guys are going to sing a duet for us!" Ayumi explained.

"Oh." Kagome said.

"What's the song?" I asked as the music started.

The intro sent me running. Unfortunately, Yuka tackled me down and dragged me back to the front.

"Noo!" I cried.

"Sing the song!" Eri commanded.

"You know the song?" Kagome asked.

"It's-it's Every Heart by BoA!" I told her as I tried to escape again.

"You two lovers are going to sing it for us!"

"Is that what all of this is about?" Kagome asked us.

We all nodded our heads. Mine was distraught, while the others were determined. Kagome sighed and told them to start the music.

"Let's get this over with." She sighed again.

She started first. We both sang the chorus. I was playing with it of course, singing in a hoarse voice to teach Eri, Ayumi, and Yuka a lesson.

"If you don't sing seriously, we'll make you sing another one like this!" Eri threatened me right before it was my turn to sing a verse.

When did karaoke get so serious?

What kind of smile must we come across,
Every heart, before we can take a step towards our dreams?
A person in the face of sadness,
Every heart, his happiness drifts in slumber.

I let the lyrics on the screen take a melody from my lips. Singing in Japanese sounded a lot prettier than singing in English to me. The lyrics were poetic, and seemed to touch my soul.

Someday, someday, may all souls
find true peace.

We sang the chorus together once again.

Round and round, in looping time,
we live and come to understand things.
At times laughing, sometimes crying,
we will continue to walk again today.

The next lines were tricky. We sang by half-verse.

In the corners of my childhood memories, (Kagome)
There is a warm place, so sweet. (Me)
Where the stars talk of a future, (Kagome)
That will always sparkle, so shine. (Me)

After that verse, I started to improvise. The room was way too quiet for me. Kagome kept singing the original song as I said whatever came to mind.

"Round and round, in looping circles,
I am looking for ice cream.
For since I want some more ice cream, yes,
I will look around the crowded room tonight."

Kagome didn't even get to finish the last repeat of the chorus because she and all her friends were on the floor, laughing, giving me the perfect opportunity to do a quick solo.

Up and down, in never ending lines,
I am looking hopefully.
For when I want ice cream or love,
I will never give up, even to dwindling chances.

*Please note that they are singing in Japanese, but you all don't speak Japanese (at least I think you don't)! The lyrics made up, not so sure if it would fit, so let's pretend it would! Arigato!* (I own the NOT Italicized part of the song. The Italicized words belong to BoA and the credited people!)

I felt bad for changing the lyrics. I hate it when people do that, and I was no exception. People worked really hard to write those lyrics and the melody, and I turned it into a joke. Beating myself up would do no good however. My choice to do so was not in vain. Not only was the room filled with laughter, but I could escape from the evil clutches of this forced karaoke round. I went back to the fridge with my bowl and got some more chocolate ice cream. I put marshmallows and chocolate syrup in this one. The problem now was getting back to my seat without eating it all before I sit down…

I woke up to the flash of a camera. I was staring right in Sota's face. So he was the one taking pictures… He let out a quiet squeak as I picked him up by the back of his shirt and took him outside.

"Would you care to explain why you've been taking pictures of me all night?" I asked.

"Well…"

"Sota, I am not a morning person, and I hate being woken up at night. Don't make me be mean."

"I told some friends about you, and they didn't believe me." He confessed.

"So you promised them pictures of me?" I asked. "You could have just told me. I have no problem with going to school with you tomorrow."

"R-really?"

"Why not? Now that Kagome and I had a sleep over, we can't just disappear. Well, I can, but I won't. As a matter of fact, I would have posed for a picture."

"Oh."

"Don't feel stupid… we all do this type of thing in our lives."

"Take pictures of people while they sleep?"

"….. no, not that part. We all do something stupid to solve something that can easily be solved another way. Only me and stalkers take pictures of people while they sleep. Don't get us confused. I'm interchangeable between stalker and normal person, stalkers will always be stalkers…."

"…That makes no sense."

"I love you too, Sota, now delete those pictures and go to bed."

A/N: So you know how I said that this was going to be 50 chapters? Well, I was wrong. I'm probably going to go past 55… Don't hold my word if I end it at 54 or something, but there's still a stretch to go, so, I'll let you know!
