Equal punishments- part 2

captainswan2000 asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2553 "Equal punishments" where Emma isn't showing up because she is sick, but isn't telling her mom that. Snow goes to her house and is really mad. Then she finds Emma asleep on the couch with a high fever.

Snow tapped her foot impatiently. Emma finished her shift at the station well over an hour ago. She should be here to help Snow with chores. Snow was not impressed. Just because Emma didn't live at home didn't mean Snow couldn't enforce the punishments on her when she did wrong. So Snow left the two younger kids with Charming and went round to haul her ass back to their house. She had chores to do, like it or not.

Figuring Emma wouldn't answer if she knocked, Snow let herself in with her key.

"Emma Swan, I know you're in here! Don't think that because…" Snow stopped when she got into the living room. She sighed, her hands on her hips. Of course Emma had fallen asleep. Snow moved over to wake Emma up. As her hand brushed against Emma's cheek, she frowned. That wasn't normal. Snow went to Emma's medicine cabinet and took out her thermometer. She pressed it against Emma's forehead. Nope, that was not good. Snow felt terrible for being so mad now. Emma wasn't dodging her. She was sick and had fallen asleep. Snow took out a packet of aspirin from her handbag and left it on the coffee table. She poured Emma a glass of water and wrapped some frozen peas in a tea towel. She pressed the makeshift cold compress against Emma's forehead and quickly scribbled her a note asking Emma to call her to let her know she was ok until when she woke up. She guessed being sick could postpone her punishment.
