Ten minutes later both Snow White and Belle were standing outside of the mansion holding a bunch of cds on their hands and a basket filled up with blankets, baby shoes and diapers. Belle looked at Snow nervously and knocked on the door.

"She's gonna definitely kill us."

Snow mumbled as she heard footsteps approaching the door. Regina opened the door and looked at them both quite surprised.

"Can I help you?"

She asked hiding her annoyance and crossed her hands under her chest scanning both women from head to toes.

Belle was about to speak but she chocked on her own saliva feeling her muscles tightening up in nervousness.

"We're here to keep you some company!"

"But... I can't recall asking for your company or baby sitting... did Emma call you?"

She asked raising an eyebrow.

"No of course she didn't. She doesn't even know we are here!"

Belle replied with a guilty look on her face that made Regina chuckle ironically.

"We all know how stressful being a mother is, and labour is not an easy thing Regina. We are here to share our experience with you and watch a tape maybe... it could be quite educational."

"Nah. I'm good."

Regina replied annoyed holding the door half open almost hiding behind it. She was definitely not in the mood to deal with Snow's overwhelmed cries while she would be telling them the story of how Emma got born for once again.

"I wasn't asking for your permission Regina. I know that you're ego is way too big for you to ask for an advice! Thank the god I'm thoughtful and I'm here saving your ass for once again."

"Wha... what's that supposed to mean?"

The brunette woman rubbed her temples already getting more and more irritated by snow's attitude and chirped voice.

"We're coming in! Being a mother is a big deal. We are your friends... come on! We are going to have some fun!"

Belle finally managed to say without looking way too suspicious as she pushed the door leading the way inside the house followed by snow.

Regina raised her hands up surrendering at the woman's insisting tone stepping aside to let them in the house. She hated the idea of hanging out with those two, but she was indeed very nervous for the labor and the after part. She had never experienced pregnancy before so you could tell that she wasn't that good at hiding her doubts anyway.

Snow placed the vast basket on the kitchen counter and served herself a glass of apple juice.

"Hope that's not poisoned."

She laughed neurotically making Regina roll her eyes.

"For the first time in forever, I hope it would be! And I would give the world for a sleeping curse as well."

"Oh yeah, it does miracles on your skin!"

Snow joked trying to break the uncomfortable atmosphere surrounding them.

"Okay, so we should start with the movies first and then show you a little tips on how you can feed, bathe and make the baby stop crying easier!"

Belle noted and run towards the DVD player to get the cd set up.

"What... what's going on here? If Emma invited you over to supposedly calm my nerves down you better tell her that this is not working! I don't need your tips and wisdom over motherhood. I've raised Henry, it's not my first time."

She rolled her eyes and sat down on the couch obviously irritated. Snow huffed and sat down next to her glancing over Belle who was avoiding any kind of eye contact at the moment.

"I know... I know it's not your first time Regina and you did an amazing work with Henry! But this time it's different. And after all I'm pretty sure you can bare with use for a couple of hours. We are here to help you. We're your friends not your enemies."

She gave her a broad and bright smile.

"A couple of hours?!?"

Regina's eyes widened open in surprise.

"Well of course! We are going to have so much fun. Consider us as a group therapy session! Your safe place maybe..."

Regina cringed her face disgusted and leaned her head back on the couch closing her eyes. This couldn't be happening... She had gotten over her problems with snow, but snow had her ways to make her blood boil within seconds. It was a love and hate relationship and at this point Regina didn't need any more nerves and anger.

Belle placed start on the tape and sat down next to snow smiling broadly.

"Do we really have to? I mean, I seriously don't wanna see a watermelon coming out of another woman's... flower..."

"Birth is a miracle Regina. There's nothing to be scared of or feel disgusted about."

Snow scolded her and concentrated on the tape. Regina rolled her eyes and focused on the tape as well. Everything was evolving alright. They were just watching a documentary on labour, no one was speaking, and at least she found that moment relaxing and peaceful. She had the time the rest her eyes when snow and Belle weren't looking and relax.

But when the screaming and pushing part started all she could think of was blood and pain. Her eyes were wide open in astonishment and fear staring at the screen like she was looking right inside an angry dragon's eyes.

"Isn't it beautiful?"

Snow teared up smiling overwhelmed.

"JESUS CHRIST!"

Regina squirmed in the couch covering her eyes with both of her palms.

"LOOK LOOK! THE HEAD IS COMING OUT."

Belle pointed her finger towards the tv smiling.

"Are you kidding me? That thing is tearing that lady apart!!!"

She yelled annoyed.

"Oh oh the shoulders! Look!"

Snow continued holding a pillow in her arms overwhelmed.

"No wonder why my mother hates me!"

She yelped grabbing the pillow off snow's lap placing it on her face.

"I see the fingers and toes! That is a very important part."

Snow noted holding Regina's hand.

"Okay screw you guys! You're not the ones who have to do this! I'm out! I'm not doing this! He's staying in there forever!"

She stood up from the couch as gracefully as she could and headed toward the kitchen to grab a glass of water.

Belle turned off the documentary and smiled.

"I'm not quite sure that you can do that."

"Watch me!"

Regina groaned.

"Regina you don't get the point! A minute of pain equals with a life time of happiness! We all did it and we turned out fine."

"Well what about 5 hours of pain? What equals with that?"

She rolled her eyes in desperation.

"It's going to be okay. We are all going to be there supporting you! Especially emma!"

Regina just frowned. Belle moved closer and rubbed her shoulder.

"I just don't wanna make the same mistakes again..."

She mumbled referring to Henry and rubbed her temples.

"You learned from your mistakes. We can't be perfect cause after all we are human. But you got this Regina."

She smiled warmly making Regina's heart flatter. She finally had a family. A family that loved her and cared about her and all that was beyond overwhelming. Feeling secure and happy we're feeling she didn't even remember when she last felt. But she finally felt completed.

A couple of hours passed and her time with snow and Belle turned out to be fun and educational indeed. Both women managed to ease her doubts and worried and make her feel more ready to have this baby. The door bell rung and snow run towards the door to find Henry standing outside smiling at her.

"Everything is ready."

He winked. Snow bit her lips to stop a new wave of tears and rubbed his cheek.

"That's great."

"I'll go get her."

He rubbed Snow's hand and walked in the living-room.

"Mum?"

"Henry! Hi dear. What's up?"

Henry just nodded his head trying his best to not smile broadly and ruin the surprise.

"I need your help on something, oh you're busy?"

He looked at Belle narrowing his eyes wishing that she would play along.

"No no she's not! We were leaving anyway."

Regina used his hands for extra support to stand up and fixed her hair smiling.

"Of course what is it?"

"It's kinda personal... so I though that we could have a walk and maybe talk?"

He bit his lips nervously.

"Of course. Let me go get my purse and coat."

She rushed upstairs and wishing two minutes she was back down heading to the front door.

"Is everything alright?"

"Yeah yeah!"

"You guys go, we'll wash the dishes and go as well."

Snow added and both mother and son left the apartment.

"So where do you wanna go for a walk?"

"What about the beach?"

"The beach?"

She frowned.

"You used to take me there when I was little every time I was feeling unwell.. maybe we could relive that."

He hesitated and looked at her with a frown on his face.

"Yes! Yes of course, I don't mind. I could use some walking as well. Now tell me what is it! Did that girl violet break your heart? Do you need me to burn down her house?"

She furrowed her brows looking at him confidently as her voice tone became dangerously low.

"Jeez ma! No!"

He protested.

"It's not about violet. Well it kinda is... but you know... it's hard to say that out loud, since I don't really want to... you know stress you out or..."

He helped her walk down the stairs as they started walking on the warm sand. The night sky was perfect tonight. The stars were dancing above them and the big full moon was illuminating the entire beach area with a soft bluish light. The sea was peaceful and calm, making a sound that felt like a lullaby in their ears.

She turned around looking at Henry in shock.

"Did you get her pregnant?"

"No no! Mum! Stop! I... I was just considering moving in with her. We are on the same college after all, I love her so much... and I thought that moving in together would be a new adventure."

He swallowed hard looking inside Regina's eyes. The brunette woman smirked and held Henry's hand softly rubbing her thumb against the soft skin.

Her eyes watered from her crazy emotions and she breathed in smiling broadly.

"Well, that would be a new and different adventure for you guys indeed."

She run her fingers through his messy dark brown hair examining his face. He had grown up so fast... it felt like yesterday that he run inside the house with chocolate all over his face. And now... he was an adult! And mature... and there's no chocolate all over him anymore. She missed that.

"So you're not mad?"

"Why would I be mad? You love her and she loves you! I'm proud of you for the man you have become. She's a lucky girl.."

"You think?"

"Yes!"

Henry grinned relieved and pulled her closer for a tight hug. She buried her face underneath his chin breathing in his vanilla scent.

"Thank you mum. I really don't want to rush things so I just suggested that idea last night to her and she said yes but we both agreed that we needed some time to get used to the idea and tell our families. We really want you guys to feel comfortable with this!"

"As soon as she makes you happy I'm comfortable with anything. But she better not hurt you cause she doesn't want to see what I'm capable of."

She winked at him playfully kissed his forehead.

"Easy tiger. We are going to be just fine."

Regina nodded and Henry suddenly stopped walking.

"What? What is it?"

She turned around looking at him in confusion.

"Well, I think that it's about time you meet up with your happy ending as well ma."

His face totally relaxed and calm. The tone of his voice soothing. Regina raised an eyebrow.

"What are you talking about Henry?"

She narrowed her eyes and he gently held her shoulders and helped her turn around to look. There was emma, sitting down on one knee smiling broadly at Regina while holding a tiny box in her hands.

"Emma?"

She stumbled looking at the blond woman astonished. What the hell was going on? She finally noticed the tiny box and covered her mouth in surprise as crystal clear tears of happiness formed in her eyes wanting out.

"Did you have fun on your walk?"

She asked in a playful voice.

"In a matter of fact I did."

Regina winked as her tears rolled down her cheeks. Henry gave her a gentle squeeze on the shoulders.

"Go."

He whispered and Regina approached emma slowly kneeling down in front of her sheriff.

"You have no idea how nervous I was about this... I've been preparing all day."

Emma laughed and opened the tiny box revealing a small golden ring that had a row of gemstones on top of it.

"Regina mills..."

She paused and bit her lips taking a deep breath to encourage herself.

"You changed my world. You changed me, and you made me a better person. You made focused, happy and excited to wake up next to you every day! I can't imagine my life without your presence to make it a better one. I want to build more with you, I want to have more memories with you and most important of them all, I want to be through sickness and health with you. You and Henry mean everything to me, and I can't imagine a greater life without you by my side. Regina mills will you be my wife?"

Her eyes filled up with overwhelmed tears as well as her voice cracked.

Regina from the other side was already crying and nodding her head.

"Yes! Yes I will marry you!"

Emma put on her sun finger the beautiful and shiny ring and pulled her closer for a passionate kiss.

"Ew you guys get a room."

He joked teasingly.

"Oh shut up Henry!"

Emma groaned laughing and she extended her hand for him to join in their hug. He run towards them hugging them both.

"Congratulations you two love birds."

"God your disgusting."

Regina joked pushing him aside.

"I guess it's the beginning of all adventures..."
