Waking Neal
justices asked for a oneshot of Snow saving Neal with TLK when he is 9.
They thought anyone with access to sleeping curse potions had either joined the side of good, or had been wiped out. It turned out, they were wrong.
Whoever they were, they had taken Neal. The problem wasn't waking him up, no, that was the easy bit. He was the product of true love, he most definitely shared true love with both his parents. The problem was finding him before it was too late. If he was left sleeping for too long…there would be no waking their son up.
Whoever it was had been clever enough to block the use of locator potions to help them find Neal. So they were doing things the old fashioned way and hunting for him by foot and looking for any small traces. Luckily, Snow was an experienced tracker. Even for her though, it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. After hours of searching both Snow and Charming were becoming desperate. They knew their window of opportunity was drawing to a close. But after searching near all day and all night, they had a stroke of luck. Two sets of footprints in the forest. One small set that looked like it would match Neal's perfectly. They followed the footprints to a tent hastily pitched, hidden by some bushes all around. When they went inside they found their son, with his kidnapper nowhere in sight. Snow was first in the tent. Without a moment's hesitation, she got to her knees beside Neal and pressed a tender kiss to his forehead. A bright light shot out from their son. He sat up, gasping for air. He looked at his parents.
"You found me." He said, relieved. Snow smiled, cupping his cheek.
"We have a secret in this family, sweetheart." She said gently as Charming crouched down beside his wife and son. He knew what Snow was going to say, so he joined in and they said it together.
"We always find each other."
