"Oh really?"

Regina asked looking pretty annoyed raising her eye brow as an eye roll followed.

Nathan just nodded his head shyly holding a bunch of paper notes. Emma furrowed... for once in their lives they wanted to have a peaceful day with family and close friends to celebrate their eternal love and marriage but of course, something had to happen to ruin everything. She crossed her fingers praying that it wasn't another serial killer waiting to terrify them all right across the street.

"So what is it Nathan?"

The blond woman asked placing her hands on her hips.

"It's about Adrien Dubois! You better remember his name cause we're gonna spend lots of time looking for him!"

"And who's that?"

Regina asked.

"He's our new master mind that has committed 4 murders so far in Madrid and all we know about him is his name. If that's his real name of course."

He winked and handed Emma and Regina the rest of his note sticks. Both women read the information they had carefully and looked at each other confused.

"You do realise this is our wedding day right?"

Emma asked Nathan quite pissed and crossed her hands under her chest with an intimidating look on her face. Nathan shook his head again.

"Wait wait when are we leaving?"

Regina asked again.

"Right now. Spain awaits."

The former queen looked at emma and smiled.

"Can I have a word with you?"

"Sure."

They both walked outside of the church and sat down on the white staircase. Regina fiddled her fingers with Emma's and sighted.

"We don't have a choice my love. That's the way our life is."

Emma sighted and played with her hair speechless. She knew that... she knew that they both chose a profession that requires many hours of work and sudden missions coming up from nowhere. But she preferred having Regina by her side even when it came to work. At least she wouldn't be alone.

"Honey..."

Regina speller and extended her hand to cup Emma's cheek.

"You know people are suffering out there. We ought to catch that guy, and bring justice. It's what we do."

"I know... are you ready for an early honeymoon?"

She suddenly smiled and rubbed Regina's palm with her thumb lovingly.

"You mean that?"

The brunette chuckled.

"Yes! Things didn't go the way we planned but that doesn't mean that we can't enjoy our time in Spain."

"Then Spain it is sheriff."

Regina winked playfully as she placed a kiss on Emma's lips.

"Spain it is madam mayor."

The blond replied and hold both Regina's hands inside her own connecting their lips once again.

"Who knows, maybe you'll get an early wedding present from me as soon as we arrive at the hotel."

She winked and stood up helping Regina up as well.

"Then we better hurry up cause I don't wanna lose my appetite."

"Oh you better."

They walked inside the church as well where Nathan had been waiting for them there checking his messages.

"So?"

He raised his head as soon as they approached.

"Can you give us a ride to the airport?"

Emma smiled.

"Of course. Get in the car girls and get ready to kick asses."

"Wait! How's Regina supposed to get in the plane? She's nearly full term... what if the baby comes earlier?"

Nathan froze looking at Regina. He had obviously forgotten about that part... Regina's health was coming first of course and they wouldn't risk the baby's life. It was way too risky.

"I'm pretty sure I can get my gynaecologist to email the airport and let them know that I'm able to fly. Also, I got three more weeks. In case we're not done till then we are both flying back home."

"Deal!"

Nathan replied with a worried look on his face.

"No no wait! We can't just risk everything Regina! If that guys turns against us it's way too risky to leave while we will be the center of his attention."

Emma noted.

"Well stop imagining about the worst case scenario. We will be living in the hotel, so in case anything happens we'll find a way like we always do. I won't just decline a job offer because of a single possibility that might not even happen."

Regina relief coldly trying to convince herself as well. She loved her child, and she was worried as well, but the urge to save someone's life over there was coming first.

"Looks like you got all figured out."

"I always find a way."

She winked charmingly.

"And you're always making risky decisions."

Emma pointed out.

"I'm Regina Mills. Nothing can stop me when I make my decision Miss swan you should know about that."

"Yeah.. unfortunately I know this better than anyone else."

Emma mumbled.

"You got my back and I got yours. At least I can do paper work and research over there if you guys insist on not involving me into action. Which I understand.."

Emma pressed her lips together. It was way too dangerous, but at the same time she knew that there was no chance she could change Regina's mind. She just shrugged her shoulders and bit her nails nervously.

"I don't know Gina... "

"I promise in case I feel something's weird I'll tell you right away and we can fly back home."

"You promise?"

She raised an eyebrow.

"Yes I promise! I'm not that crazy to risk everything for a mission."

"Fine... let's just get this over with."

Emma finally admitted and held Regina's hand supportively.

"Great then get in the car!"

Nathan forced a smile.

"Yes just give us a minute."

Emma smiled and let him walk away as she turned around staring at her mother and father.

"So you're going..."

David approached rubbed Emma's shoulder worriedly.

"Yes... I guess we are."

She glanced over Regina.

"You know that we can come with you just to make sure that everything is alright right?"

Snow said.

"Mum... this is work. And after all I can't put your lives in danger again... maybe it's better you guys stay here and in case anything happens we'll make sure to let you know so you can be ready to handle things and help us out."

David nodded his head and pulled snow closer for an embrace.

"Fine... please just give us a call as soon as you get there."

David forced a smile.

"We will!"

"And Regina! Please... make sure to keep my grandchild safe."

She couldn't help but smile... once upon a time ago that woman standing across her that had just gotten married to her daughter used to be her greatest nightmare and enemy. It was funny how things turned out sometimes... she never expected that the brunette woman standing across her would be now one of the most important people in her life! Plus... she was about to give her a very important gift... another grandkid! That meant a lot.

"I surely will Snow. Don't worry about that."

She gave her a reassuring pat on the shoulder.

"And Henry! Don't do anything stupid and show up in Spain again..."

Emma chuckled making the younger boy blush.

"I did what I had to do. Just don't make me do that again."

He winked.

"Stay safe mums. I love you."

He smiled broadly hugging both of his mothers.

"Okay, family time is over guys. We need to go. We have a plane to catch."

Regina said and grabbed her purse and coat.

"Kicking asses in a wedding dress should be the new trend."

Snow laughed.

"That's something you don't get to see everyday."

Regina smirked and walked in the car with Emma. An hour later they finally reached the airport and walked inside for their check in. Nathan bought them their tickets and helped them with their bags.

"Can't believe we're doing this for god's sake."

Emma mumbled quite displeased.

"But we are my love."

The brunette woman replied with an obvious playful smirk on her lips trying to walk as gracefully as she could.

"Do you always have to be so stubborn?"

"I guess stubbornness runs in the family. Don't blame me."

She shook her shoulders innocently.

"Let's hope our kid just inherits your good traits and skip the stubbornness part. It would be a nightmare to deal with two Reginas in the house."

She groaned and laughed.

"Can't promise anything about that."

"Right..."

"Okay girls that's our plane over there. Are you ready?"

"I guess..."

Emma replied.

"Okay then let's go."

The team walked inside the plane after checking in and headed towards their seats as soon as they got inside the plane.

"Where are you sitting?"

Nathan asked.

"35C. What about you?"

"36C. Looks like we're together in this."

Nathan smirked.

"And I guess that that sleepy old lady over there is going to keep me company."

Regina mentioned and pointed the seat across Emma's with her finger.

"Ugh... I thought we were all sitting together."

"Babe we'll be fine. It's just a five hours trip. We can last five hours apart."

Regina soothed her.

"In case you need me just call out my name okay?"

"Yes."

"Good I'll see you in five hours."

Emma placed a peck on her lips and followed Nathan towards their seats. Regina headed towards her own and sat down next to the older woman trying to get comfortable on her seat. The plane eventually took off and the final countdown till the beginning of their mission began.

Regina turned on her laptop and placed it on her lap. She wanted to know everything about that case until they got there. She started searching for online newspapers and articles that described the murders and incidents so she could delve into all evidence.

Adrien Dubois or else the butterfly serial killer strikes again! Monday 7th of February.

All citizens of Madrid are terrified to hear the news again... the past few weeks Spanish police officers found four bodies that belonged to Jennifer Smith(23 years old), Arizona Lawless(35 years old),Isla Hernández (60 years old) and Eloise Antoine (17 years old) in different regions of Spain hairless and brutally murdered. The weird thing that worried us the most is the different techniques our murderer used to torture and kill these women. That confused us about his identity at first. The Spanish police officers first thought that these victims belonged to different serial killers but after the coroners examined the bodies thoroughly we discovered that it was all work of one murderer. The only thing we know about him is his name and probably sign. Every single dead body had the figure of a colourful butterfly tattooed on their back. The coroners claimed that the ink was fresh when they examined the bodies so that meant that the murderer drew it when he killed them. Underneath the tattoos there was the name Adrien Dubois written with a dabber dauber. Is that his real name? That's what we thought at the beginning... maybe it's just a fake identity that he used to confuse us all. Weird thing about this case is that these four women have nothing in common with each other. They all belonged at Different castes, their financial wealth was differing as well, and they all belonged at different races of the world. That eliminates the chances that our criminal had a specific motive when he killed. Let's all pray that we can all find a solution soon and that our police officers will manage to catch that person!

Looked like a very sticky situation... to be honest Regina was now confused as well. That guy was way more complicated than their former case in Paris even if it had to do with Regina in the end. Let's just hope that they would manage to catch him before he strikes again she thought. She sighted as she turned off her laptop and leaned her head back on the seat resting her eyes for a couple of seconds.

She run her fingers over her protruding belly as she felt her baby shifting positions inside of her pressing his tiny fingers against her skin. She smiled lightly but suddenly the light pressure she felt blipped by a sharp pain that made her heart miss a beat.

Her eyes filled up with fear as her body slowly tensed in great discomfort. What the hell was happening. She swallowed hard trying to remain calm as she slowly stood up.

"Excuse me..."

She breathed out as she cote by the older woman next to her heading towards the bathroom. She opened the door rushing inside as she leaned over the sink groaning. She arched her back and rubbed her stomach soothingly grasping for air as the pain spread all over her abdomen encircling her waist and the lower part of her back.

It was going to be okay she thought. It was probably a Braxtok Hick... her doctor informed her that Braxton Hicks would be more frequent during the last trimester, especially when she would be nearly full term. She swallowed hard trying to remain calm and positive when she heard a knock on the door.

"One minute!"

"Are you alright in there ma'am?"

A chirping voice replied coming from the outside of the W.C.

"Yes yes I'm okay!"

She answered and washed her hands preparing to go outside. It was going to be okay. Four more hours and she would be able to get plenty of bed rest when they would arrive at the hotel. She was probably just tired and sore... she walked outside of the bathroom almost bumping on the flight attendant standing outside of the door.

"Oh jeez! Watch out!"

She rolled her eyes.

"I'm sorry, I just noticed you were in quite discomfort back there and I wanted to make sure everything's okay."

She smiled broadly and happily.

"Yes I'm terrific! I just had to use the bathroom."

Regina forced an innocent smile.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes!"

She rolled her e he irritated.

"Now excuse me!"

She walked away heading back to her seat finding the old lady that was sitting next to her now reading a magazine.

She sat down back on her seat and pulled her coat over her body to stay warm and relax.

At the same time emma and Nathan were halfway down a bottle of whiskey. The plan was to start working on that mission tomorrow morning so they had plenty of time to sober up till then.

They cheered their glasses together and they both drunk a strong sip of their drinks.

"Agh.. I needed that!"

Nathan admitted smiling like an idiot.

"Tell me about it. At least if we're going to die there I will have already celebrated my bachelorette."

"So didn't you before the wedding?"

"No not really. Regina wasn't able to drink anyway, so we were planning to have a party for both of us after our honeymoon. We had no idea another deadly mission was coming tho."

She rolled her eyes and drunk another sip.

"Maybe we can do something about that as soon as we're done here."

"Maybe... we got plenty of time till then. Plus plenty of things to worry about!"

She cleared her throat feeling her head getting heavier and heavier.

"Do you think she's gonna be okay?"

She mumbled dizzily.

"Babies have their own schedule when it comes to showing up. They don't really care about the way you plan things out. I know that because my wife used to schedule up every single thing about our daughter's arrival, and in the end nothing went according to the plan. Our daughter came out four weeks earlier with a C-Section surprising us all. But in the end the way and place your child comes doesn't really matter as soon as it's healthy! And that's exactly what I'm going to make sure about Regina. We're going to keep her safe, no matter what. I can guarantee you that."

Emma nodded her head smiling broadly.

"I appreciate that."

She drunk another sip of her whiskey and swallowed hard the warm liquid allowing it to slightly burn her tongue and throat as it went down. The taste flooded her mouth with a bitter flavour.

"Your daughter must be a very kind and beautiful girl!"

"She is! And I'm a lucky person to have her around me. She taught me a lot. That's the funny thing about kids... even tho they seem so innocent, pure and unversed they end up teaching you a lot."

"Right... I'll make sure to take advantage of my kid then this time..."

"What about Henry?"

He smirked.

"Henry is a different story... I was not ready to be a mum back then... and I had to give him up for adoption. Regina adopted him."

"What a coincidence."

His eyes widened open in surprise.

"Not really."

"How come?"

"That's a story for another time. Plus now I'm drunk... and I don't think I'm in place to answer the list of questions after you hear the story. Maybe another time."

She forced a smile and kept drinking.

"Okay then. As you wish."

An hour passed. She was asleep for an hour straight, peacefully dreaming when that sizzling pain made her groan in pain and wake up. She almost doubled over in discomfort, squeezing the handles of her seat tight. Tiny drops of sweat had already formed on her forehead as she tried to breathe.

"Are you alright?"

The older woman next to her asked in confusion examining Regina's face and body movements...
