Cranky

A guest asked for a oneshot of Snowing having to deal with an adult Emma being cranky and acting up.

"She's coming again." Snow sighed. Charming nodded, bracing himself. They didn't know if Emma was sick, tired or what. She just hadn't been in a good mood all day. If they asked her to do anything, it was an uphill battle.

Snow and Charming fell silent as Emma came down to get herself some snacks. She'd spent the majority of the day up in her room, which truly was a blessing given her dreadful mood. Although, as she rummaged around the fridge to try and find something she wanted, she could feel eyes drilling holes in the back of her head. She turned around. Her parents both did a good job of trying to look like they were busy doing something else, but it was pretty obvious to Emma that they'd been staring at her.

"What?" She snapped. Snow and Charming looked up innocently. "Don't give me that. You were both looking at me funny. What?"

"Nope. Nothing strange happening here." Charming defended him and Snow. "Sorry, don't know what you mean Emma. Princess. Darling daughter. My little ray of sunshine…" Emma rolled her eyes, grabbed a packet of Fridge Raiders and went back up to her room. Charming and Snow just looked at each other before sighing in relief. They were glad they'd escaped with their heads still on their shoulders. Somebody really was in a cranky mood!
