Kawahira, in full Checker Face regalia, sits down across from the newest Sun candidate and his...Guardians. Bermuda sits to the left, small fists clenched in frustration because Interpol and COMSUBIN have whole battalions of members waiting outside in case this goes wrong.

An amphitheatre of tables have been arranged in a huge circle around the large conference room, all the staggered rows angled towards the main table where the key players sit. These extra people were invited because they are the major powers of the underworld, from all across the world, and therefore have a responsibility to preserve the Tri-ni-sette and use any resources necessary to do that.

(Every single seat is full because as it turns out, between the seven of them, they have enough contacts and saved up favours and oh, yes, an angry Lal who gets shit done no matter who she has to mow down.)

"Is this the best idea?" is the first thing Kawahira asks.

"Maybe you shouldn't have picked us then, huh?" the Cloud candidate suggests.

"The strongest have a responsibility to all," Kawahira replies. "Are you so selfish-"

"Yes," the Mist candidate deadpans. "Yes, I fucking am. So we are here today to fix things so I don't need to be involved anymore."

"It is a great power that you would wield," Kawahira murmurs.

"Wield it up your ass," the substitute Rain chimes in merrily.

The Lightning candidate pulls out a cube, filled to the brim with Sky flames, and slaps it down onto the table. "We have a device that can store flames." He gestures around at the room filled with people. "And you have a whole lot of volunteers who are really very invested in the universe not dying."

The Sun, the Sky -Reborn- he clasps his hands together and smiles charmingly. "Correct me if I'm wrong but I assume a handful of fire from every flame active in the entire Mafia is more than enough to keep the Tri-ni-sette running for the next century or so."

And yes, during the brief recess, Fon's parents do corner Reborn in the bathroom.

A/N: Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed but this is the end now (unfortunately). I'm thinking of making a sequel later on because I don't want this to end but I don't have a plot in mind either so it would just drag on.

Tell me what you loved, what you'd like to see more of, etc, maybe I'll do some drabbles.

In the meantime, if you need more Arcobaleno dumbassery, I have another fic called Beginnings and Middles but No Ends in Sight.
