Lost girl

A guest asked for a oneshot of Emma finds a lost girl in Neverland that used to be Emma's younger foster sister. They tried to stick together as they were so close. She insists the girl comes home with them. Snowing are a little jealous of how close they are.

The Charmings watched as all the lost boys boarded the Jolly Roger. They were all going home, aside from the handful who remained loyal to Pan's cause, and as such, decided to stay on Neverland. Emma smiled at the boys as they all trundled on board. But as one came on, head covered by a cap, she suddenly stopped him. She would recognise that face anywhere.

"Danielle?" Emma asked. The child stopped. Her arm went ridged. The other boys laughed.

"She thinks you're a girl, Danny." The boys laughed. Danny didn't laugh, and Emma knew she was right. She removed the cap, and a shower of brown waves came tumbling out. The boys all went silent. They'd been living with a girl all this time?! Emma suddenly pulled the girl into her arms.

"What happened?"

"Peter found me a couple of years after you left." She said. "He made Neverland sound so good. I've been so scared, Emma." The little girl looked at her. "You're an adult now." Emma smiled, bending down so that they were eye level.

"That means I can look after you." Emma promised her.

"Um, Emma?" Snow asked from the side. Emma looked up. She supposed they deserved an explanation.

"Danielle and I were foster sisters in this group home." Emma explained. "We got on so well. We tried to convince our social workers we were biological sisters so that they couldn't separate us." Emma smiled at their innocence. "But eventually, we were pulled apart." Emma couldn't believe she was getting this opportunity. She had loved Danielle like the little sister she never got to have. Emma looked up at her parents.

"She can stay in my room with me, but I can't let her go. Not again."

"Ok." Snow said, seeing how important this was to Emma. Charming nodded in agreement. They weren't going to tear the girls apart again. Emma couldn't help but cry a little as she hugged Danielle. She never thought she'd see her again, and certainly not like this. Snow and Charming couldn't help but feel a little jealous as they watched the girls interact. It was clear Emma's walls had crumbled upon seeing Danielle, and she was welcomed inside to Emma's private little world where Snow and Charming had been shut out since the curse had broken. They were happy Emma was reunited with someone who was clearly important to her, but they couldn't deny it was a little hard to swallow.
