May muses 23: Date nigh- Sb
Day 22 of May Muses! Another mirror oneshot from yesterday's!
Having a tiny baby at home did somewhat put a spanner in the works when it came to the Charmings' love life, but they did their best to make it work. It was understandable that both parents were a bit clingy with their son given what happened with their daughter, but that didn't make date nights impossible. It just meant they had to get creative. Like watching a movie they both enjoyed with the lights dimmed, the volume down low (a crying baby somewhat ruined the mood) and a bowl of popcorn to share. What mattered most was that they had each other. The location of the date didn't really matter. They hardly saw the endings of any of the movies they watched, anyway. Love Actually would be no different.
Snow lay with her head on Charming's chest, vaguely pretended to keep up with the switching plotlines. She got it. Love was a very complicated thing that came in different forms. Her finger lightly swirled around Charming's chest. He looked down at her, chuckling.
"Giving up on it already?" He asked.
"I just think I know where it's all going." Snow sighed. She shifted herself so that she was closer to Charming. He smiled, turning the volume down even lower. Without having to say a word, Snow pressed her lips to his, holding his face in her hands. Charming smiled into the kiss, shifting himself so that Snow lay back against the sofa. There was another movie that would go unwatched.
