For years, Lord Voldemort has been forced to live a miserable life as a wraith, possessing one unfortunate creature after another, ranging from filthy wondering muggles to his beloved snakes. He had finally been able to possess a wizard last year a reprieve, a chance to finally get a body of his own. Only for the weak fool to blow it to smitherings. To crumble at the hands of a blasted child, Harry Potter, frustrating him to no end.

What an understatement.

Lord Voldemort was livid. Hissing his rage throughout the snake he possessed, dripping venom that burned plants with a single drop, as he crawled through the forest of Albania.

Fiend fire wouldn't be enough to quell his rage. What made the boy so special? The boy lacked power, lacked the will to learn and ran around, the very definition of a foolish Gryffindor. How in Morgana's name could the child, a child, even come close to a full grown wizard well beyond his age?

Time did not quell his rage. No, but it did prove as a good distraction. A way for him to consume time, a way for him to plan.

Rage would not help him right now. He needed to know this weakness and what he had right now was time at his disposal. He has years to plan the boys down fall. As he now has a few missing pieces of the puzzle that is Harry Potter. What power does an average child have over Lord Voldemort?

His rage swirled around and around, fueling his determination, before confusion started to trickle in. At first he thought it was over the Harry Potter annoyance, but these emotions didn't feel like they came from him. They oddly felt external. So he pondered a bit before it was gone, like a passing breeze he brushed it off.

Days passed, and he occasionally got odd feelings here and there instead of his own rage and hatred of the Potter boy. Those feelings were both an annoyance and ...dare he think it, a blessing.

A blessing to feel something different over the years of being a wraith. He had felt pain, hate, rage, even fear of all things. But now that he was feeling something else, it caused Voldemort to pause and think, where these feelings were coming from. Can those feelings be his and if not where did they come from, because there is no way he found being a snake funny, strangling the Potter boy? Enjoyable? Yes. Satisfactory? Yes, but in no way funny.

And yet those feeling would ghost around in his head, appearing and vanishing without a trace. Oddly enough the extra feelings allowed him enough peace from his own to actually be able to take a step back and think.

His first priority, how Harry Potter had bested him, if he had or if it was something else. The second was figuring out these foreign emotions, where they came from and if possible deal with the problem.

Because that's what it is, a problem that needs to be resolved. It's not anything important, but none the less, it needs to be dealt with.

Permanently.

Alpha Echo: thanks for you many kind, informative and encouraging comments, they mean a lot. Especially about her name. I think that could be special for the two, and in her own ways it helps her since names have power (that's what I was thinking) so it shows she doesn't trust him entirely, she will but she's having small warning bells and doesn't know who to trust, if she can trust anyone ever.

Also I didn't really think about all of the horcruxes 'lore' as you call it, but rereading that part, it actually makes sense and I might have to 'add' a bit more which... would make sense actually, so special thanks for pointing that out (I think you just added a lot of possibilities for this story and now I'm feeling bad for what I might do to Harmony, but hey that's life)

The 'pretzel' I got from the movie 'Kate and Leopold' from steward's line . Honestly I make a lot of references both consciously and unconscious, though all of my stories, they do make up my life .

Also her wand might end up more as a sassy pet, but thanks to your encouragement I'll try to bring him into the picture more, Wizard do seem to forget that they are not just a tool, for Harmony, Indie is more like a partner than a stick.

Oh and she will find out, I did write a quick one for that part.

I do know there are a few Diary x OC stories for Tom, two from my knowledge sadly they haven't updated in a while

IRedeem: Since your looking forward to Hogwarts, any idea on who might be good friends? I'm looking into Cedric, Luna, and Nevil for sure, but am In debate for others I mean Hufflepuffs will be friendly no doubt, but not persay 'friends' maybe more like cousins that are nice to see and play with, but not really friends.

I do need 'bad guys' and am In Debate one whom to bash, Dumbles is on my list, he's not 'bad' per say, but extremely stubborn adult who 'knows' what's best for everyone.

It's going to be hard to have layered characters, but maya be I should focus on flaws and emphasize them.

I do feel as if my writing might or has turned into a Mary Sue story, but it's what I want in the world and I want my characters to be happy, if a universe is born through this story, I'm not going to harvest my characters misery, but that does make for a very boring story if everything is perfect, but at the same time I get tired of stories going perfectly only for them to stumble over the cliff, like you have someone super powered, but then a convenient villain that has 'waaaay' more power than the MC gets on my nerves (naruto, bleach, etc. there's seriously no end)

Also I've been reading other HP fanfictions and will mention my magic idea for my OC forms from the FF of Stranger Things Did Happened (seriously answered my question on my OC's magical talent, I find it weird that Witches and Wizards see magic almost as a perfect magical math like formula that has one way of learning it. Math has limits, magic doesn't and Hogwarts (and the ministry) seems to encourage those limits

Also anyone want a fun read, sadly there's only 1 ch available here, but if this story is elsewhere please let me know, it has a great view on the Ministry of magic, I'm hoping more reads to this story will encourage an update:
