Too darn cute

FanOfMost asked for a oneshot of something with "Mom/Dad, make him stop."

Emma loved her little brother dearly, but Neal also reminded her why she was waiting a few more years before she had another baby. He had recently discovered how to make a fist, which opened him to a whole new world of toys. His favourite currently being hair. He loved yanking on long hair and watching the way it made the owner of the hair wince.

Emma was hanging out at her parents' place. She'd been handed an antsy Neal while their dad got his new highchair set up and their mom got lunch ready. Neal gave Emma a gummy smile. Emma smiled wearily back. She hadn't slept well the previous night. Neal didn't like the lack of reaction he got. So he reached out and grabbed a fistful of Emma's hair and yanked. Emma yelped, which just delighted Neal. He giggled happily, pulling it again. Emma sighed. She managed to release her hair from his sticky hand, only for him to grab another fistful and pull again.

"Mooooom, daaaaaaad." Emma whined. "Make him stop."

"We keep telling you to have your hair up when you're around your brother." Snow called from the kitchen. "It's not our fault if you're not listening." Emma pouted.

"It's just as well you're so darn cute." Emma grumbled, getting her hair back again. Neal gurgled at her, he knew he was too darn cute to make his big sister properly angry.
