Drunk talk

Mama Snow asked for a oneshot of something to do with drunk Snow and drunk Emma. A lot of fluff and mother/daughter feels.

Snow pressed her finger to her lip, Emma giggled at how she nearly missed and hit her nose instead.

"Shh!" Snow said, louder than Emma was laughing. "We don't want to wake the boys." Emma nodded. She wasn't sure waking Neal would be good right now. She wasn't sure her dad would be impressed at the state they'd gotten themselves into either, if she was honest. After the fourth attempt, Snow got her keys into the lock. She opened the door and stumbled inside with Emma close behind her. They tried to keep their sniggering as quiet as possible. Emma looked up the stairs, which suddenly felt a lot more like Mount Everest. She gulped. She kicked her high heels off and made for the stairs. It took Snow a moment to realise what was going on. She had a baaaaaaaad feeling about it.

"Why don't you sleep on the couch tonight?" She whispered. Emma turned. Huh. Sleep on the couch. She hadn't thought of that. She shrugged.

"Sounds good." She slurred. She staggered over to the couch and flopped down onto it, the world around her still spinning. Snow chuckled. Light weight. She managed to grab a blanket and pillow from the linen closet and came back over. She got the pillow under Emma's head before sitting at her feet to toss the blanket over her. As Snow sat down, she realised how tired she was herself. Well, maybe closing her eyes for a couple of minutes wouldn't hurt. She tossed the blanket over both of them, fully intending to get up and go to bed in a few minutes.

"I had a great evening." Emma mumbled, close to sleep.

"Me too." Snow sighed, patting Emma's leg.

"I love you, you know that?" Emma said even more quietly. "I'm so glad I found you." Snow smiled. She knew Emma was only admitting this because she was hammered, but she would take what she could get.

"And I love you, Emma Swan. It doesn't matter how old you get, you'll always be our little girl." Snow told her. Emma laughed.

"Sounds alright to me." Emma responded, drifting off. Snow was able to hold her own sleep for just long enough to wait until she knew Emma was sound asleep. She then closed her own eyes for a few minutes. Only to wake up the next morning with a killer headache. In front of her were two glasses of water, each with two painkiller tablets. In between the glasses was a note.

We're off to the park. Happy hangover! X

Snow smiled despite the pain. It had been a good night, so totally worth it.
