Through the mirror

Jade Star asked for a oneshot of *season 6 finale spoilers!* Snowing managed to talk to cursed Emma through the mirror. She can sort of remember them. She becomes frustrated as the conflicted memories mess with her head.

"I don't know how long you'll have." Regina told them as she handed the hand mirror over to Snow. "I can't see the Black Fairy leaving Emma alone for long periods of time." Snow nodded eagerly. She and Charming would take whatever time they had. They just had to see their daughter, had to tell her to not give up.

"How do we start it?" Charming asked.

"Just say her name." Regina explained. Snow and Charming looked at each other. Charming squeezed Snow's shoulders reassuringly. Emma had to know they were here.

"Emma Swan." They said together. Suddenly, an image appeared in the mirror. It was her! It was Emma! She was pacing back and forth in a small room. She just looked so…broken. "Emma!" They said together. Emma looked round at the mirror. For a moment, she looked shocked, she took a couple of steps towards it before stopping, shaking her head, and going back to pacing.

"No Emma, don't look away." Charming encouraged her. "It's us, it's mom and dad. We're here."

"My parents aren't fairytale characters." Emma hissed, clamping her hands over her ears. "You're not real. You're an illusion. Leave me alone."

"Sweetheart, we can't do that." Snow told her. "We are real. You know we are." Emma risked taking another look. They were still there. She walked over.

"Archie's right." She sighed. "I'm delusional."

"No, no you're not." Charming said, reaching out and touching the mirror. He wished he could reach right through and hold her. "It's really us. Henry's right Em. You're right. Your parents are Snow White and Prince Charming." Emma looked at the parents. Her parents could see the look they hadn't seen on Emma's face for the longest time. The look of the lost little girl who just wanted her parents. Emma then clutched at her ears, screwing her eyes shut.

"Get out of my head!" She yelled. The image faded as Snow and Charming screamed her name, but she was gone.

Emma didn't know who she was really screaming at. Was it the people in the mirror, or was it the people around her telling her they weren't real?
