"Dada! Dada! Me up!"
Grissom woke up and looked at the clock, he wasn't shocked to see it was still very early, the clock showed it was only 3 in the morning. Grissom saw Sara was still sound asleep curled up next to him, he smiled and got out of bed grabbing him boxers. He then gently woke Sara up passing her a pyjama top and some shorts.
"Leo's awake, put these on baby"
Sara let out a groan, without opening her eyes she put her clothes on, Grissom laughed watching her do this. She then went straight back to sleep.
"Dada! Dada! Da!" Leo called again.
Grissom smiled and left the room, he left and headed to his sons bedroom.
"Daddy's here buddy. You know its still night time." Grissom told his son while picking him up.
"Me come cwddle wif you and Mama?" Leo asked laying his head on Grissom's shoulder.
Grissom laughed "Of course Buddy, but you have to be quiet cause mummy's still asleep, okay?"
Leo nodded his head and let out a yawn.
Grissom smiled at his son and left to go back to his room. Sara was now on her side of the bed still fast asleep, he placed Leo in the middle of the bed the got in himself.
Leo cuddled into his mother who wrapped an arm around him, Grissom moved close to the pair wrapping his arms around them both.
"I wove you dada" Leo yawned.
"I love you too buddy, now go to sleep" he said kissing his sons head.
The three of them slept until 9 when Leo once again was the first awake.
"Mama" he whispered into Sara's ear while still cuddled into her.
Sara slowly woke up and saw her son looking straight at her.
"What's up baby?" she whispered.
"Daddy's snoring" the little boy giggled.
"So he is baby" Sara laughed.
"He too noise" Leo said moving over to Grissom.
"DADA, stop snoring!" Leo shouted in his dad's face.
Grissom woke up with a fright while Sara laughed at his reaction.
"Leo baby, come here" Sara said pulling her son closer to her while still laughing.
"He gets me every time" Grissom groaned as he rolled closer to the pair, wrapping his arms around them.
It was now August 17th and Grissom's 21st birthday. Sara had planed a surprise party for him at her parents house. She and Grissom along with Leo had spent most of the day in their house, Sara had told Grissom they were going to dinner at night and that she had a surprise for him. Grissom had wanted to spend the day with his little family, enjoying the day together. The family were sat outside on their swing bench.
"Daddy, wook at me!" Leo shouted as he went down his little slide.
"Wow, look at you Buddy!"
Leo got off the slide and ran over to his dad holding his arms out to him. Grissom scooped the little boy up and sat him on his lap.
"Happy burfday dada, I wove you" the little boy said cuddling into his father.
"Thank you Buddy, I love you too. My favourite little guy in the whole wide world" Grissom said hugging his son tightly.
"Are you having a good day babe?" Sara asked sipping her water.
"The best, got my two favourite people with me, what more could I ask for?" Grissom said leaning over to kiss her.
"I'm glad, now we should really get ready for dinner, we have to leave soon" Sara said getting up.
"Grissom followed with Leo still in his arms, shouting for Buddy to follow them inside.
"So are you going to tell me where we're going for dinner and what my surprise is yet?"
"Nope, its a secret. Now go and get ready baby" Sara said kissing her two boys and making her way to her dressing table.
Sara started doing her hair and makeup, she left her hair down and curly, her makeup was a natural-glam look. She then got into her dress which was a tight black strapped body-con dress with sparkles over it. She then added her silver stilettos as well as some sliver earrings and a silver necklace she got from her dad a few Christmas's ago.
"You two ready?" Sara shouted as she stood up.
Grissom walked back into their bedroom with Leo in his arms, the two were dressed in matching black suits with a white shirt.
"Wow!" Grissom said looking at his fiance.
"MAMA! You wook pwetty!" Leo smiled.
"Sara you look amazing!" Grissom said walking over to stand in front of her.
Sara blushed "Thank you both, and I must say you boy look very handsome"
Sara kissed them both getting a smile from them both.
"Now, we need to get going. We're going to be late!" Sara said grabbing her bag.
Grissom grabbed Leo's bag and his own things and followed Sara out to the car, putting Leo in his car seat.
"Okay Mr Gilbert Grissom, I need you to put this on" Sara said holing out a blindfold.
"Kinky" Grissom said winking at her as he pulled her into his arms.
""You wish, now I'm being serious, put this on" Sara told him, getting out of his grip.
"As you wish" Grissom said rolling his eyes.
Sara tied the blindfold for him and helped get him into the car. She then got into the drivers seat and started driving towards her parents house. At the house all of Grissom's family, as well as Sara's and all their friends were patiently waiting on the three of them to arrive. All their friends were now of age to drink, Sara was the only on who wasn't now able to, had a glass of champagne in their hands as well as the rest of the adults.
"They're here!" Catherine shouted as she seen their car pull up.
Everyone stood in silence waiting for the trio to enter.
Sara helped Grissom out of the car then got Leo, who wanted to walk to the door by himself as he said he was a big boy. She then grabbed their things and guided Grissom to the door.
"How much further?" Grissom groaned.
"We're nearly there, stop moaning" Sara laughed.
"Yeah dada, swop moaning" Leo repeated as he walked ahead of his parents.
The two laughed and carried on walking. Sara quietly opened the door to let them all in.
"Okay, stand there" she said to Grissom.
She then took off his blindfold, he saw everyone standing in front of him.
"SURPRISE!"
"WHAT! I thought we were going out for food?" Grissom said still in shook.
Sara laughed "Surprise baby, happy birthday" she said kissing him softly.
Leo tugged at his fathers trousers and held his arms out to him. Grissom picked his son up.
"Suwpwize daddy"
"Thank you! I, I'm in shock! How did you's pull this off without me finding out?"
"Secret baby" Sara told him winking.
"Okay, okay, can we get this party started!" Greg shouted.
"YEAH!" Leo shouted.
Everyone laughed, the DJ who was Warrick, started playing the music. Everyone began to mingle, Grissom thanking everyone for their birthday wishes and gifts. Leo was busy dancing with his Aunt Mia while Sara was was sitting with Catherine, Morgan and Annie talking and watching Leo dance. Grissom was standing with his parents talking to them and having in first legal drink.
"So who's idea was this?" Grissom asked them.
"Sara's, you've got a special one there son. Don't ever lose her" James told his son.
"I won't dad" he said smiling as he watched Sara laughing at something Leo was doing.
"So, are you enjoying yourself?" Betty asked her son.
"Yeah mum, it's a great party. I just can't believe you 's all kept it a secret from me" he laughed.
"Has Sara heard anything about Uni yet?" James asked.
"Yeah, I thought she was suppose to have heard by now?" Betty added.
Grissom sighed "Yeah she heard, she got in but"
"But what?" Betty asked puzzled.
"But, she didn't accept it" he sighed.
"Why?" James asked, he and his wife shared a puzzled look.
"No idea, she just said she didn't want to accept it"
"She'll tell you when she's ready son, just give her time" Jame told him.
Grissom nodded, he knew Sara was hiding something but couldn't put his finger on it.
"Dada, you come dance wif me" Leo shouted.
The three of them laughed.
"I'm coming Buddy!" Grissom said heading towards his son.
Grissom took his sons hand that was held out to him and started dancing with him.
"Hey! Check Grissom out" Nick shouted to Greg and Jim.
"Yes Grissom, shake them hips" Greg laughed.
"Leo, don't you think you're uncles should come dance with us?" he said loud enough for the boys to hear.
"YEAH!"
The three men laughed joined them on the dance floor.
"Aww, look at them all dancing with Leo. It's it the sweetest thing" Morgan said to the girls.
"Yeah, that little boy has them all wrapped around his little finger" Annie laughed.
The girls all agree.
"I'm going to get another drink, anyone else?" Annie asked the girls.
"I'll have another thanks Annie" Catherine said.
"I'll come with you" Morgan said getting up from her seat.
"No thanks, I'm all good" Sara said.
As the two left Catherine turned to Sara, she had noticed she hadn't been herself all week and wanted to know why.
"So, you going to tell me what's wrong?" Catherine asked.
"What you talking about?" Sara asked confused.
"Well first you don't accept your uni offer" Catherine stated.
Catherine was the only person with the exception of Grissom she had told about not accepting her uni offer.
"Then you've been quiet all night and you've not ate anything, so are you going to tell me what's up?"
Sara sighed "I dunno Cath, I just, I dunno."
"Okay, well you know I'm always here for you? Right? I mean you've been one of my best friends since I can remember, don't forget that."
"I know Cath, thank you!" Sara said smiling at her friend.
"Anytime, now shall we go join the boys in a dance?"
Sara laughed and agreed. The two got up and made their way over to the boys. Annie and Morgan joined them with their drinks.
"Mama, wook what unca Gweggo showed me" Leo shouted as he started wiggling him bum.
Everyone started laughing.
"So uncle Greggo taught you that?" Sara said giving her brother a look that said 'don't teach him any other moves like that'.
"Yup" the little boy said still wiggling.
They continued to dance, others joining them when the lights went out.
James and Betty entered the room with a huge cake in their hands.
"Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday dear Grissom (Dada), Happy birthday to you!" they all sang to him.
By the end of the song his parents were standing in front of him with his cake, Sara was at his side with his arm around her and Leo was now in his other arm clapping his hands.
"Make a wish baby, you never know, it might come true" Sara said kissing his cheek.
Grissom smiled and made a wish as he blew out his candles.
Grissom wished that Sara and himself would be together forever and that they'd have a little girl in the near future.
Everyone cheered as he blew the candles out, no one noticed Leo lean over and put a hand in the cake until it was too late.
"Yummy!" Leo said as he licked his hand.
"Leo baby, you're not meant to do that" Sara laughed.
"Here Sar" Nick said handing her some wipes.
"Thanks Nicky, come here little guy" Sara said as she cleaned his hands.
"Okay, let's get the back back on track" Greg shouted making everyone laugh.
A little while later Sara wondered where her son was, she was busy sitting with Catherine, Greg and Morgan talking while Grissom was with the rest of their friends playing some game. She excused herself and went in search of her son.
She soon found him fast asleep on the bottom stair with his arms wrapped around his teddy. Sara smiled and picked her son up, she then grabbed his bag and went upstairs to change him into his pyjama's they had brought for him. She also changed into some comfy pyjama's she had at her parents house, after she was changed she went to place Leo in the bed her parents had for him but as she did this he woke up.
"Mama, me no go bed. Me stay wif you, pwease" he said clinging onto her.
"Sure thing baby, you want some warm milk?" she asked as she walked back downstairs.
Leo nodded him head and started playing with her hair.
Sara smiled and walked to the kitchen to get him some warm milk.
"Hey princess, you okay?" Robert asked seeing his daughter enter the kitchen.
He was in their with one of Grissom's Aunt's and Uncle's.
"Yeah, just getting Leo some milk."
"Let me do that for you" he told his daughter, grabbing the milk, pouring it in one of his grandson's sippy cups and putting it in the microwave.
"Thank daddy" Sara said cuddling her dad the best she could with Leo in her arms.
"Anytime Princess, here you go" he said passing her the milk cup out of the microwave.
Sara took the cup and walked into the living room and sat on the empty couch, She manoeuvred Leo into a comfy position and began to feed him his milk as he played with her hair. Even though he was able to, Leo still loved for his mum to feed him his milk. The two of them stayed curled up on the couch and both ended up falling sleep.
Grissom who was still playing drinking games with their friends, the others had joined in when Sara left them, was beginning to wonder where his fiance and son was at.
"I'll be back in a minute, just going to go see where Sara and Leo are" he told his friends.
Grissom searched for the pair and found them both fast asleep and cuddled into each other on the couch. He smiled and placed a blanket over them both, placing a kiss on their heads.
"I love you both so much" he whispered to them.
He then left them both and joined his friends again to continue playing their game.
"Okay, what we playing now?" Grissom asked as he entered the dinning room again and sat next to Jim.
"Never have I ever" Catherine told him.
"My turn" Greg shouted.
By this point they were all quite drunk, Warrick had joined them as well and set up a list of songs to play for the next few hours.
"Right, Never have I ever played strip poker" Greg said.
Grissom was the only one to drink hearing this.
"Okay Griss, you got to tell when you drink, it's the rules" Catherine said.
Grissom laughed "I taught Sara how to play and then for my birthday last year we decided to play since Leo stayed with my parents."
"Okay, my turn. Never have I ever looked at my phone during sex" Catherine said.
Greg and Morgan both drank, Morgan said it was with her ex as he wasn't paying attention to her and just cared about himself. Greg said it too was with an ex partner who he just got bored with making everyone laugh.
"Never have I ever sent a nude" Jim said.
Grissom, Catherine, Nick, Morgan and Greg all drank saying it was to their partners.
Annie then said she'd never used handcuffs during sex. Grissom, Greg, Morgan and Warrick then drank.
Greg and Morgan said they'd used them on each other a few time, Warrick said he's used them with Tina and Grissom with Sara.
"I just realised I'm learning how kinky my sister is, I don't think I'm ready for this" Greg said covering his face.
The others just laughed at him and continued to play the game. It was well after midnight when the party died down, most of Grissom's and Sara's family had gone home along with their friends parents. Their friends had all decided to stay since the Sidle's had said it would be okay, he also knew they were all far too drunk to leave. Sara and Leo were still fast asleep on the couch, the noise hadn't bothered them. Grissom stumbled into the living room and sat next to them both. The others had all stumbled to their different rooms for the night.
As much as he didn't want to he knew he had to wake Sara as they needed to go lie in a proper bed.
"Sara baby, we need to go to bed" Grissom slurred.
Sara woke up, confused at first as to where she was.
"Bed time baby" Grissom said getting up with some struggle.
Sara laughed at him and stood up, careful not to wake their son.
"Come on birthday boy, lets get you to bed before you fall" Sara said as she led the way to her old bedroom.
"Coming sexy" Grissom said winking at her.
Sara laughed and shook her head. They got to the room and Sara placed Leo in the middle of the bed, she then slipped in next to him. Grissom went to get in when Sara told him off.
"You better get changed before getting in this bed Mr"
Grissom stripped down to his boxers, he then shoved on an old t-shirt he had and got into bed.
"Night baby, I love you" Grissom said to Sara, leaning over careful not to disturb their son and kissing her.
"Night babe, I love you too. Hope you enjoyed yourself tonight" she said kissing him back.
"Best night baby, thank you! You're the best fiance ever!" he slurred as he slowly fell asleep.
Sara laughed "I'm glad baby, I'm glad."
