A few weeks had gone by and it was the day before Sara's 20th birthday. She and Grissom were still on their break, Sara and Leo were living in their house while Grissom had moved back in with his parents after insisting they should live at the house and he was more than happy to move out while on their break. The two parents hadn't spoken much about anything except for their son in the past few weeks, everyone had noticed the they both were very sad during this time. Both were too stubborn to sit down with each other and talked about things properly.

Sara had just woken up, Leo was with Grissom having a sleepover. She quickly ran to the bathroom as she suddenly fed nauseous, she made it to the toilet just in time. She sighed as she sat there, she knew she'd have to tell Grissom and soon but she just didn't know how.

An hour later Sara woke again to the door opening, she had fallen asleep by the toilet.

Grissom was bringing Leo back home to Sara as he had work in a few hours. He rang the doorbell but got no answer, he decided to walk in and find out where Sara was. He left Leo in the living room watching TV and playing with some of his toys, he then went in search of Sara.

He eventually found her by the toilet, as she still hadn't moved.

"Sara!"

Sara looked up to see Grissom running over to her side. He helped her sit up and cupped her face with one of his hands, his thumb caressing her cheek.

"Honey, are you okay?" he asked worried.

Sara brushed his hand away from her face "I'm fine"

She stood up and went back to her bedroom, grabbing her robe and putting it on. Grissom sighed and followed her out of the bathroom.

"You're obviously not, so just tell me what's wrong"

"Where's Leo?" she asked ignoring his question.

"Downstairs in the living room" he sighed.

Sara left and went to go see her little boy, Grissom once again followed her downstairs.

"Hi baby" Sara said walking over to Leo.

As soon as Leo saw her he ran up to her, holding his arms out.

"Mama, I missed you" he said hugging her as she picked him up.

"I missed you too baby, so much. Did you have fun with daddy" she asked hugging him tightly.

"Yeah, we watched 'A Bug's life' and 'Monsters Inc' and we played piwates too! We even swared Mia" the little boy giggled.

"Wow, sounds like great fun baby" she said kissing him.

She placed the little boy back down and let him play with his toys, she moved to sit on the couch, Grissom sat on the other end.

"So, um, has he had breakfast?" Sara asked breaking the silence.

"Yeah, I made french toast for us both. He also had some fruit too"

"Great"

"Yeah" Grissom sighed.

The two sat their in an uncomfortable silence, the only noise was from Leo playing.

"So, Sar, are you really okay?" Grissom asked still concerned.

She sighed and immediately tears sprung into her eyes.

"I, um, I guess I should have told you before now but I was just scared I guess" she began saying.

"Scared of what honey, you can tell me anything" he said, his voice full of love and concern.

"I had a feeling before you're birthday which is why I didn't accept my place at uni. God, we were so careful. It's also really bad timing as well considering our situation right now, but at the same time I'm so happy. But I'm so scared at the same time and I haven't told anyone yet cause I'm scared at what they'll all say but"

"Sara!" Grissom shouted, interrupting her rant.

She stopped speaking and looked at him, the tears in her eyes now fell down her face.

"Just tell me what's wrong, I promise you whatever it is it'll all be okay" he told her as he took one of her hands in his.

Sara took a deep breath.

"I'm pregnant Griss" she cried.

Grissom looked at her shocked for a minute.

"We're having another baby?" he whispered.

She nodded her head, not trusting herself to speak.

"This is great honey, another baby" he said excitedly.

"You aren't angry?"

"No, of course not Sara. It's a baby, one of the greatest gifts anyone could ever give a man" he told her as he got closer to her.

"The two smiled at each other.

"So you're really okay with this?" she asked him.

"Yeah, I'm elated Sara. How far along are you?"

"Just over 3 months" she whispered hoping he wouldn't be angry she had kept it from him.

Grissom grabbed her, pulling her in to hug her tightly. He then pulled back and kissed her softly on the lips. For a second Sara enjoyed the kiss, but then she remembered the girl at the bar and pulled away.

"Griss, I can't. This doesn't change anything between us right now. You hurt me so badly by not saying anything about the kiss" she explained.

Grissom moved away from her and sighed "I know and I'm so sorry Sar, I really am"

"I know, but I don't trust you and I can't be with you, at least not right now" she told him.

Grissom nodded "I should go, I've got work soon."

"Okay"

Grissom walked over to his son who hadn't paid any attention to what his parents were doing.

"Bye buddy, I'll see you tomorrow okay?" he said picking Leo up and hugging him goodbye.

"Bye dada, I'll miss you" Leo told his dad, wrapping his chubby arms around his fathers neck.

"I'll miss you too buddy"

Leo hadn't taken too well to his parents not living together, he'd spent most nights in his parents beds than his own as he often cried knowing one of them wasn't there.

Grissom placed the little boy back down next to his toys, he then made his way over to Sara to say his goodbye to her. He leaned town to kiss her, it was a habit. She turned her face so he kissed her cheek instead.

"Um, sorry. Just a habit" he sighed.

Sara nodded and said it was okay.

"So, I'll um see you tomorrow then?" he asked.

As usual on their birthday's they were, that is Sara's family, friends and the Grissom family, all going to the Sidle household to celebrate her 20th birthday. Sara had told Grissom he was more than welcome to come, he thought she had said that for Leo's sake but really it was cause she couldn't imagine spending her birthday without him.

"Yeah, see you then" she said looking down at her hands.

Grissom sighed and left their house, heading back to his parents house to get ready for work.
