The next two weeks flew by, Sara and Grissom were busy with both their jobs, Grissom going to Uni, looking after their son, Sara's pregnancy and of course their wedding. It was now the first of October, the day of their wedding. Both their families and friends had helped the couple sort all the details out for the wedding. Sara had gone shopping for her wedding dress with Laura, Betty, Catherine, Annie, Morgan and even Mia a few days after Sara's birthday. She had found the perfect dress and fell in love with it.

The couple had decided to not tell anyone about the baby until after the wedding, they didn't want their friends and family to think the wedding was just because of the baby.

It was the morning of the wedding, Sara woke up in her bed with Leo cuddled in next to her and her best friend Catherine next to him.

Grissom had spent the night at his parents house with the boys while Sara and the girls had all stayed at their house along with Leo. Annie and Morgan where in Leo's room on a blowup mattress.

Leo started to wake up "Mama" he whispered into Sara's ear.

She slowly opened her eyes and saw a set of baby blue eyes staring back at her.

"Good morning baby" she said kissing his forehead softly.

"Mama, Auntie Cath is snoring, weally loud" he giggled.

Sara laughed and moved to sit up in bed. Just then she heard Catherine snore, loudly and she laughed again.

"So she is baby, why don't you wake her up and tell her"

Leo laughed and nodded his head, he moved closer to his aunt. He then shouted in her ear "Mowning Aunt Cat!"

Catherine let out a scream and nearly fell out the bed, while Leo and Sara sat laughing.

Catherine looked over at the two "Well that was mean"

"Swrry Auntie Cat but you snore too woud" the little boy giggled.

Catherine blushed and started tickling the little boy.

"Swop Auntie Cat, pwease!" Leo giggled. "Help me mama!"

Sara laughed and grabbed Leo away from Catherine and into her arms.

"Fank you Mama!" Leo said cuddling Sara.

Catherine and Sara laughed at how cute the little boy was being. Just then both Morgan and Annie entered the room and sat on the bed.

"So, how do you feel then?" Annie asked after they all said their good mornings

"About what?" Sara asked while Leo played with her hair.

"It's your wedding day silly! So tell us how you feel! Are you excited? Nervous? Happy? Tell us!" Catherine said all excited.

Sara laughed "I'm all of that and more, I can't wait to marry Gil! I'm just nervous about standing in front of everyone"

"It's all be fine when you're standing up there next to him" Morgan said.

"I know! I just can't wait to finally be a Grissom" she laughed.

"Mama and dada gonna be married?" Leo asked with a curious look on his face.

"That's right baby, mummy and daddy are getting married today. So you have to be on your best behaviour and help hold the rings to give to us at the right time. Think you can do that?" Sara asked her son.

"YEAH! Me a big boy Mama" he shouted making the girls all laugh.

"I know you are baby" Sara said kissing her little boy.

"Okay, so who's ready for breakfast before we have to leave to get our hair and makeup done?" Morgan asked.

"ME!" Leo shouted as the others agreed and headed downstairs to eat.

Meanwhile at the Grissom household, the boys who had all slept in Grissom's room on either his bed or a blowup mattress were now all awake eating breakfast with his family at the dinner table.

"So Grissom, how does it feel to be nearly married?" Nick asked.

"Great! I can't wait to marry the girl of my dreams" he smiled as he stuffed another piece of waffle in his mouth.

"My little boy's all grown up" Betty said getting tearful.

"Mum" Grissom said blushing while his friends snickered.

"Grissom, look I know we're friends and all but Sara's my sister so I've got to say this" Greg started saying.

Everyone looked to him and knew what he was about to say.

"If you ever hurt her, I will kiss you! She's my little sister and I won't let anyone hurt her, no matter who you are. I love Sar and I don't wan to see her upset, ever! Okay?" Greg said, feeling happy with himself.

The others stared at him and smiled, they knew Greg was very protective over Sara and meant what he said.

"I promise Greg, I won't hurt her. I love her and I don't want to upset or hurt her, ever. She's my life and I don't know what I'd do without her" Grissom smiled.

"Glad to hear it" Nick said slapping Grissom on the back.

"Gil, you're making your mother and me very proud" James said to his son, this made Grissom smile once again.

"Thanks dad"

"Mummy, is today the day I get to wear my pretty dress then?" Mia asked her mum.

"It sure sure is baby girl, you get to be a pretty flower girl" Betty told her daughter.

Mia smiled, the boys carried on talking while James and Betty cleaned up the kitchen.

"Who's up for a beer the?" Warrick asked as they all left the table.

"YES!" the boys all agreed.

Grissom grabbed a pack from the fridge and they all headed up to his room to drink before getting ready.

A little while later Betty and Mia left to head to Sara and Grissom's house to get ready with the girls, Laura too was meeting them there.

James shouted for the boys to come downstairs and get ready to head to the Sidle house as they were going to get ready there. They all headed there and met Robert who was left in charge of making sure everything was getting set up correctly.

"How'd did you get stuck with all the organising then dad?" Greg asked laughing.

"Cause you're mother threatened me, why else?" Robert huffed making the boys and James all laugh.

"You look like you need a drink" James laughed, patting the other mans back.

"Definitely" Robert laughed and the pair headed to the kitchen.

"Another beer?" Jim suggested.

"Yes!" they all agreed and followed the other men into the kitchen.

The house was full of organisers and an events manager who was getting the house ready for the wedding. The ceremony was being held outside in front of the huge flower wall at the end of the back garden, the dinner would be set up at the other end of the garden with huge tables set up all around and a dance floor added as well, along with a DJ booth. The colour scheme was white, silver and blue, they had picture of them growing up with friends and family dotted all around the place. It all looked beautiful, elegant and simple.

Back at Sara and Grissom's house the girls were all busy getting their hair and makeup done while Leo watched a movie with Mia who was getting her hair done after Betty. There were 4 hairdressers and 3 makeup artists at the house. Sara's cousin on her mum's side, Chloe, had also arrived at the house, she was another of Sara's bridesmaids along with Annie and Morgan, Catherine was her maid of honour.

"How you feeling baby girl?" Laura asked sitting next to her daughter while they both got their hair done.

"I'm excited mum, I can't wait to marry him" Sara smiled.

"I'm glad baby. You know, when the two of you went on that break a few weeks ago Gil phoned your father and I everyday to make sure you were okay, even if he was going to see you. He was so worried about you. He never meant to hurt you in anyway, you know that baby?" Laura asked her daughter.

"I know mama, I over reacted but we're both happy now and it's all in the past" Sara smiled.

"I'm glad, you know he came over to the house the after it all kicked off"

"He did?" Sara asked shocked.

"Yep. He wanted to apologies to your father and I for upsetting you and explained everything to us. He really does love you baby girl, I'm glad you've found a good one"

"Me too mama, me too" Sara smiled.

Just as the girl finished doing Sara's hair, Sara excused herself to go to the bathroom. She sprinted away and only just made the toilet.

"I'll go check on her" Laura said to the girls as she was already finished getting her hair done.

She walked to the bathroom and knocked on the door "Sara sweetie, it's mum. Can I come in?"

"Um, yeah" Sara said nervously.

Sara walked in and saw Sara sitting by the toilet, she quickly moved over to sit next to her.

"Are you okay sweetie?"

"Mum, I" Sara sighed.

"You can tell me anything, you know" Laura said wrapping her arms around her daughter.

"Please don't be mad mama" Sara said as the tears formed in her eyes.

"I promise I won't get made baby, just tell me" Laura said wiping away the tears from Sara's face.

"It happened by accident, we didn't plan it but we're both happy. We just didn't want to tell anyone just yet in case they thought we wanted the wedding and got back together just because of, of" Sara stuttered.

"Because of what baby" Laura asked confused.

"I'm pregnant" Sara finally got out.

"Baby, that's wonderful" Laura said smiling.

"Really" Sara said shocked.

"You're not angry?"

"No sweetie, you and Gil have done so well for yourselves and I'm so proud of how much you's have both grown up and taken on all this responsibility" Laura said pulling her in to a hug and kissing her forehead.

"Thank you mama, I'm sorry I didn't tell you" Sara said hugging her back.

"It's okay baby, maybe today's not the best day to say anything cause it's your wedding day. So how about we get through this day then in a few days you can announce it to people and I promise you no one will be angry at you or Gil. It's a wonderful thing a baby" Laura smiled at Sara.

"Okay mama"

"So, how far along are you?" Laura asked curiously.

Sara smiled and said "Just over 3 and a half months"

"Wow, and you're not even showing. Is everything all okay?"

"Yep! The baby's perfect, we had a scan last week. We get to learn the gender at the next scan" Sara said excitedly.

"Well as long as you give me a little granddaughter I'll be happy" Laura joked making Sara laugh.

"Now, lets sort you out and go and get your makeup done otherwise we'll be late" Laura said helping her daughter up off the floor.

Sara washed her face and the pair left the bathroom to go finish getting ready.

"You okay Sar?" Catherine asked, bringing over some water for her friend.

"Thanks Cath, I'm all good. Think it's just nerves" Sara laughed.

"Okay, well Leo's getting bored watching a movie so I was going to fed him a snack if that okay with you?"

"Thanks Cath, there's some watermelon in the fridge already cut up that he can have" Sara told her as she sipped the water.

The girls all finished getting their hair and makeup done, taking it in turns to watch over Leo. Betty now held Leo in her arms while he played with his Teddy.

"Okay Sara, you're all done" the makeup artist announced.

Sara turned round to face the girls and her son "So how does it look?"

Her makeup was a natural glam look with natural fake eyelashes on and a subtle smokey eye. Her hair was curled with some of her hair pinned back in a messy but elegant look.

"You look beautiful Sweetie" Betty smiled at her soon to be daughter-in-law.

"Thank you" Sara smiled.

"You look amazing", "Stunning Sar", "Incredible" came from her cousin friends and Mia.

"Mama?" Sara asked looking at Laura.

"You look so beautiful baby" Laura said tearing up.

"Don't cry mum, you'll ruin your makeup" Sara laughed as she hugged her.

"I know, I know" Laura said laughing.

"Me see mama" Leo said after not getting any attention for a while.

Sara smiled and turned to look at her son.

"Pwetty mama" he squealed.

"Thank you baby" she said picking him up to hug him and kiss him softly.

"So time for us to get changed" Catherine announced.

They all apart from Sara and Leo went to go get changed into their different dresses, Sara sat on the couch with Leo and played with him until the others were ready.

"You excited to be a boy today and hold the rings for mummy and daddy?" Sara asked the little boy.

"Yeah, me gonna be a big boy and be good" he smiled.

"I know you will be baby, you are the best little boy in the whole world and I love you so much" Sara said kissing his forehead.

"I wove you too mama"

Just then Laura walked out in a lace blue mid length dress with a matching jacket and silver heels.

"Mama you look beautiful" Sara smiled

"Nana look pwetty!" Leo shouted.

"Thank you both!" Laura said to the pair.

"Now how about we get this little one into his suit?" Laura suggested holding up the little boys outfit.

"Good idea mama, come on baby, we'll get you changed here" Sara said taking off her sons pyjamas.

Between the two mothers they got Leo changed into a black suit and white shirt with a blue tie. They also put on some new white trainers knowing the little boy would be comfier in them rather than dress shoes.

"Okay baby, give mama and nana a twirl" Sara said placing the little boy on the floor.

Leo smiled at the two and began posing in his new outfit, making the two women laugh.

"Very handsome" Laura told him.

"Fank you nana" Leo smiled.

"You look so adorable baby, now you've got to stay clean, at least till we get to the dinner part of the night" Sara laughed.

Leo went back to playing with his Teddy while Laura and Sara waited on the others to come out.

"Okay, we're ready" Annie shouted as the rest of them entered the room.

"Lets see then" Sara said all excited.

They all came out and stood in front of Sara, Laura and Leo who now sat on Sara's knee. The three bridesmaids and Catherine all wore light blue long, a-line flowing dresses that were sleeveless with a scooped neck, Mia also wore a dress very similar but a child's version. A white lace belt was added to them all as well and silver heels, Mia wearing a very small silver heel. Betty wore a blue dress as well that was three quarter length, laced sleeved and fell to just bellow her knees. It was tight but not too tight, she too had on some silver heels and had a light blue fascinator added as well.

"You's all look amazing! Wow!" Sara said while smiling at them all.

"Pwtty!" Leo shouted in agreement making them all laugh.

"Why thank you little guy, how about you show us all your very smart suit?" Morgan suggested.

Leo nodded his head a quickly got off his mothers lap to show off his suit.

"Very smart" Betty laughed seeing her grandson strike some poses.

"Okay Sar, your turn" Catherine announced while laughing at Leo's different poses.

Sara took a deep breath and smiled "Okay, Cath, mum, you's are helping me"

The two women smiled and followed Sara to the bedroom to help her change. Sara stepped into the dress while Catherine held in open, Laura held her daughters hand so she wouldn't fall. They pulled the dress up and Catherine began to do the buttons on the back of the dress while Laura stood teary eyed.

Sara smiled at her mum and said "Mama, maybe you should go play with Leo. Catherine and me can do this"

"I think you're right baby girl" Laura laughed.

"I'll see you when you're ready" Laura said squeezing her daughters hand before leaving to go join the others.

Catherine and Sara laughed.

"Never seen your mum get so emotional" Catherine said.

"Me neither" Sara giggled.

"Okay, buttons done, just! Sar, I have to ask you something" Catherine said moving to stand in front of her friend.

"What is it Cath?"

"Are you pregnant?"

Sara smiled and nodded her head.

"I knew it! OMG! I'm so happy for you" Catherine said going to give her friend a hug but stopped as she didn't want to get a single mark on the dress.

Sara laughed "Thanks Cath, we didn't plan it and the only people who know are Gil, my mum and now you"

"Sara, this is great news! I thought you were you know, at Gil's party, you were acting different and I suspected it but doing your dress up just now confirmed my thoughts" she laughed.

"Yeah, I'm just glad the dress fits" Sara laughed.

Sara went on to tell Catherine how far along she was and how they didn't want to tell anyone until after the wedding while Catherine put the finishing touches on to get Sara ready.

"Well Sara, as long as you both are happy then I'm happy and hopefully I'll get a little niece this time" she joked.

Sara laughed along with Catherine.

"Okay, you're all ready. Lets go show the others" Catherine said smiling to her friend.

Sara took a breath and smiled, grabbing one of Catherine's hands and said "Thank you Cath, for everything"

"Anytime girl, you know I'm always here for you girl"

The two smiled and headed downstairs to show off Sara to everyone.

"I'm ready" Sara announced as she entered the room and stood in front of them all.

Sara was in a ivory LaLaMira 2020 chiffon long wedding dress that had a scooped neck and was in a mermaid style. Her shoes were white with the same lace as her dress on them. She wore her silver necklace her dad got her the Christmas before Leo was born and silver dangle earrings she had received from Betty and James as her something new. Her something old and borrowed was the veil her mother wore on her wedding day and her something blue was a lace blue garter the girls had bought her and given to her the night before.

"Oh my gosh Sara, you look stunning!" Chloe, Sara's cousin, said breaking the silence.

"Look how pretty mummy looks" Morgan said to Leo as she crouched down next to him.

"Mama wook pwetty!" Leo shouted loudly.

"Thank you baby" Sara said smiling at him.

"You look absolutely beautiful darling" Betty announced.

"I agree, you look beautiful sweetie. Gil's going to be in shock when he sees you" Laura giggled.

The others agreed and laughed.

"Thanks guys. So is it time to go yet?" Sara asked getting excited.

"Nearly Sar, just waiting on the cars" Annie said as she walked over to the window to see if the cars had arrived yet.

Finally the cars arrived and they all headed off to the Sidle house.

Meanwhile at the Sidle house, the men were all finally changed into their black suits with a white shirt and blue tie that matched Leo's. They all sat in the living room while the events organiser was finishing with the last minute details.

"Gil my boy" Robert started saying.

"Can I talk to you for a minute" he asked pointing to the dinning.

"Sure" Grissom said following him out the room while the others carried on talking to James.

The two sat on the chairs next to each other and Robert began to talk.

"Gil, you're like a son to me and I want you to know that"

"Thanks Robert" Grissom said blushing.

Robert smiled "I'm very happy my little girl has found you, you's both were friends for so long before finally getting your head up out of them books and telling each other" he laughed.

Grissom chuckled "Yeah, but I'm glad we waited. I think we got together at the right moment" he smiled.

"I do too son, you's built a friendship before a serious relationship. I'm proud to be your father in law, well nearly father in law" he corrected himself.

"But I need you to promise me something"

"Anything" Grissom replied.

"I need you to promise to look after my little girl and never break her heart or hurt her or Leo or any future children yous may have. She's my little girl and always will be, I just need you to promise not to hurt her. I know yous will fall out and argue, god me and Laura have at least an argument a month" he joked.

"But at then end of the day I need to know you will love her and protect her no matter what"

"Robert, I promise I will never hurt Sar, Leo and any other child we have. I love Sara with all my heart, she means everything to me. I love her" Grissom said smiling.

"Good, now that's over lets get the others and head out. I'm sure I just head some guests start to arrive" Robert said getting up out of his seat.

Grissom followed him out the room, the men all headed outside and spoke to the events woman who told them to get ready in their places. Grissom and James headed to stand at the front next to where the priest would stand while the other men waited for the man to arrive in the living room.
