Kazuma didn't know how things got this way. He was locked in his room, an aggressive banging against the door. Since the window was only They were desperately trying to get to him, the door being only a temporary obstacle between them and their prize--and even if meant breaking the whole thing down, they were willing to do just that. Kazuma could only pray to Eris that the door wouldn't come down anytime soon.

There was a moment of silence after a while of banging. A sigh of relief leaves his quivered lips. It seemed that they had given up. Finally standing to his feet, he made his way towards the door, being just close enough to hear someone chanting something on the other end.

"Goddess Blow!"

It was at that instant that the door exploded, Kazuma using his arm to shield himself from the fragments of the door as they were blown in his direction. Dust shrouds the opening, with the silhouettes of the three peering through. Kazuma fell upon the ground, scooting back until his back was against the wall. Stepping into the room, the three stared down at the male with pink hearts in their eyes. Aqua then began to undress, the others soon following her lead.

"Kazuma~!"

Turn the pendulum back a few weeks prior to the scene above. The group went on a quest to kill some toads that were settled on the outside of Axel Town, this task being something that even a group like theirs could manage--or so they assumed, at least...

A sigh that parted his lips couldn't even express just how disappointed he was. With his back hunched and his arms flopping about, the brown haired adventurer's visage was one of a man that had lost absolutely everything. He could only think of their defeat at the hands of a bunch of gynormous amphibians. The shame!

The only thing more annoying than dwelling on his misfortune was the fact that Aqua had been bawling her eyes like a newborn baby this entire time. It was practically her fault for thinking she could take them on, using her useless "Goddess Blow" and other skills--onlybfor her to end up being gobbled up a second later! And don't even get him started on the other two! The loli Arch Wizard with the magic potential for one explosion had actually used her Explosion Magic on them--if only she hadn't been so distracted and ended up getting gobbled up too! And Darkness...well, Darkness is still darkness: as she was in the clutches of the frogs, she looked as if she was experiencing pure heaven, panting heavily like a perverted creep. But that was usual for a masochist like her. They would've been dinner if it hadn't been for a pack of wondering sheep that conveniently strolling by.

"Why did I have to be grouped up with this bunch?" He thinks to himself as he walked. "We couldn't even beat four toads. Four. Damn. Toads!"

Grasping his head, he tilts his head back with his eyes wide as he groaned with such unfathomable frustration. Despite his luck stat being so high, why was he always so misfortunate around these three!? The irony wasn't funny in the slightest.

As the group silently--aside from Aqua, of course--made their way back into Axel, they were able to detect the group of mysterious bugs that were small as mosquitoes were trailing them. Landing upon exposed skin--for Megumin, on her thigh; Darkness, the neck; and Aqua, right on her left butt cheek--the critters injected their venom into their bodies. In a simultaneous action, the girls smacked their palms against the designated area that the insects landed, their bodies nothing more than green pools of goo in their palms.

"What the heck? Ew!" Megumin says, wiping her hand on her already slimed up attire, now adding the remains as part of it.

"You dare bite the butt of a goddess!? Even if you repent for this a thousand times, you will never be forgiven for such a sin!" Aqua reprimanded the goo, her right index pointed right at it, as if we're still alive to hear her berate it.

Darkness simply moaned in response to her bite, something most--scratch that, none would do. There was just no telling how deep down the well she had fallen at this point.

Kazuma was too frustrated to even bother turning around to survey the others; he just wanted to return home, take a bath, and just forget about today as a whole.

A few days passed before the symptoms hit. Each member of his group had become ill within days. Whatever it was wasn't contagious, since Kazuma didn't feel sick in the slightest. Seeing the others in such shape was making Kazuma somewhat concerned.

"It doesn't seem fatal in the slightest. Since they only have mild fevers and sweats, I'd say that they will be fine in a matter of days. Just make sure they stay hydrated and eat when ready. But on the safe side, I'll be taking some of these samples back for analysis."

Kazuma escorted the doctor out the door, closing it soon behind them. He couldn't wait a few more days; judging from the way they were looking, he needed to get them something that made them feel better much more faster. And he knew just the Lich with a shop of magic items that could do the trick.

"A potion for cold symptoms?" The Lich asks from behind her counter.

"Yeah, the doctor said they should be fine, so I figured I help them feel better if I just got them something that will make them feel better faster."

Wiz had taken a moment to place her hand against his forehead, realizing that his temperature was just about average. Kazuma knew the reasoning behind her action, figuring he must've been coming down with something too if he cared so much over a cold. He just needed something that could help them get over it much more quicker.

Returning from her brief trip back from the area in the back of the store, she handed him three separate bottles containing blue liquid.

"These are the closest thing to the perfect remedy. Give them these, and after a day or two, they should be fine."

Retrieving the bottles, he made his way out of the shop, returning to the others as fast as he could. Hopefully their conditions hadn't worsened in his absence. This will be the only time that he goes above and beyond for these three.

Aqua's eyes fluttered open, the ceiling being the first thing in view. Her head was throbbing, as if a miniature being in her was banging a hammer against her skull. Even minor glimpses of light were blinding to her. Aside from the discomfort her felt, and the migraine, she felt able to move again.

Standing to her feet, she attempted to take a step, stumbling somewhat. She noticed that she was the only one walking about, Megumin and Darkness' rooms were still closed. Maybe they were still recovering, too?

The slamming of the door caused her head to dart left, her noticing a panting Kazuma as he was grasping his knees. She could see the perspiration that was covering his face, the front of his shirt completely soaked. She also noticed the small bag.

"Kazuma?"

"Aqua!"

Before she knew it, Kazuma had ran to her and embraced her. The fact that he was displaying such affection was so unlike him, that's for sure. He was truly worried about her. At the same time, while in his embrace, Aqua couldn't help but feel something welling inside her. She was uncertain to what it was, but when she can feel her heart racing for Kazuma--seriously, come on, this is Kazuma. The same Kazuma that pissed himself before he was isekai'd to their world, as well as being a pervert NEET--she knew that there was something was wrong. However, at this moment, feeling him embracing her made her...aroused.

It was like her body had a mind of its own; her limbs moved without permission, slowly embracing him back, albeit with great pressure. Just touching him made her feel...hot.

"Hey, Aqua, are you ok..?"

Aqua didn't bother listening, continuing to embrace him, her nostrils taking in more of his musky scent. Aqua didn't want to let her go, a sense of profound love for him coming into existence. Before she knew it, her lips were nearing his neck, hot breaths brushing over him.

"Aqua!"

Yelling at her seemed to do the trick, because shortly after, she released him, seeming to return to her senses. She could feel her cheeks burning intensively, assuming that she wasn't blushing at this point. She also averted her gaze, too embarrassed to even look at him. There was a moment of silence before she noticed him handing her a bottle.

"Take this. Since the doctor said that you guys just needed rest and such, I figured this would do the trick."

Escorting her back into her room, Kazuma witnessed as she swallowed down the contents with the bottle, with her soon lyig back down. She discovered that whatever it was had made her sleepy, with her returning to slumber a short while after he leaves.

As the doctor was busy looking at the results of their tests, his expression transitioned from neutral to shocked. Turns out that, after running tests on their blood, he discovered that the mosquito-like critter had the "cupid-effect": whoever the victim first sees will immediately fall in love with. But with this bug's case, the victim's carnal instincts are brought to surface. And depending on how that person feels about the other, the results could be very concerning.
