She's here- part 2
GrantL1991 asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch380 "She's here" where we see Emma settling into life in the town and spending time with her parents. They help her get to grips with being the Saviour and part of a loving family.
Guest: Here's a funny idea. Rather than complaining about other peoples' requests, why not make your own? Also, a description is given of each chapter, perhaps if you read it, you would have a rough idea if you were going to take issue with the chapter or not. Just a wee thought.
"So, I'm supposed to save you all from this curse?" Emma asked. Snow and Charming nodded. They sat opposite her, their fingers intertwined. "How am I meant to save you, what's supposed to happen?"
"We don't know." Snow answered with a small smile on her face. Neither of them could quite believe she was finally here. "We've never been able to leave Storybrooke, we tried several times so we could find you, but it's part of the curse. Maybe it's that?" Snow suggested. Emma nodded, still not fully comfortable with her parents talking about their attempts to find her.
"Or," Charming interjected. "Maybe, it's taking us all home?" Emma froze at that.
"But this is my home, this world." She reminded them. "I don't know your home."
"Emma, the Enchanted Forest is your home." Snow told her. "It's where you were born."
"It's where we think you might find your happy ending." Charming added. He reached out his free hand to place on top of Emma's. He didn't miss the way her hand stiffened under his, but at least she didn't pull away this time. She had in the past. Snow and Charming were treading a very fine line when it came to sharing any form of physical affection with their daughter. It was clear it was something Emma wasn't used to. But she was slowly coming round to it. Like she was with most things about having a family. All of it was going to take time. Snow and Charming didn't know what breaking the curse would mean, but they knew it would include them being able to stay together, forever. To them, that was worth anything.
