So this is the very first idea I ever came up with while in the middle of watching Boys Over Flowers because I actually found the show due to Tale of the Nine-Tailed and falling for Kim Bum in that show. Immediately while watching BOF, my first thought was what if Ga Eul met Lee Rang and how would Yi Jeong react if he saw them together. This is only intended as a very small one-shot. I make no guarantees if I will ever write a sequel or just leave it as is to everyone's imagination. Ultimately, I just needed to get it out of my system. Back to my other 'fics!

Chu Ga Eul was trying to rifle through her bag, searching for her keys while also looking for her phone. She needed to shoot a quick text to everyone to let them know that she was running late. She paused with a harsh sigh as she continued looking through her bag. She was starting to get frustrated as she searched.

"Aish!" she grumbled out loud as she started to walk again until she bounced off a hard body.

"Do you always run into strangers?" a too-familiar voice questioned as she felt strong hands curling around her arms.

Ga Eul lifted her head, arching a brow as she looked into So Yi Jeong's face. When did he change his hair? She had just seen him last night. She tilted her head to the side as she studied him.

"Why did you change your hairstyle, Sunbae?" she asked.

"Change my hairstyle?" he asked. "Considering I've never met you before, how would you know if my hair was styled one way or another."

Ga Eul rolled her eyes as she extracted her arms from his. "Oh please," she said. "Your hair wasn't even styled that way last night when I saw you." She tried to look into her purse again then huffed in annoyance once more.

"Fine, since I am seeing you now, you can let everyone else know I am running late for the get-together tonight. I have some papers I need to get graded before I can get there."

"Do I look like your messenger?" Lee Rang asked, amused at the little human in front of him. Though he had to admit she was pretty attractive for a human. "How would I even know who you were getting together with?"

"So Yi Jeong, I do not have time for your games," Ga Eul said, the frustration she had been feeling all afternoon finally bursting to the surface. "Just please tell everyone-." Her tirade was cut off when his fingers covered her mouth.

"Shhh, that's a good girl," Rang said, smirking. "Obviously you know someone else as devilishly handsome as me, but I am not this So Yi Jeong."

Ga Eul jerked her head back so his fingers were no longer on her lips. "Yah," she said.

"What?" Rang asked, tilting his head. "You were on a tirade. I needed to stop you." He smirked again when she narrowed her eyes.

"What are you playing at, Yi Jeong?" she demanded.

"Aish," Rang murmured before slipping his hands into his pockets. He leaned closer to her face. "Listen closely," he said, his voice taking on a hypnotic timbre as his fox eye appeared. "Forget you ever met me and this So Yi Jeong."

Ga Eul stared into Rang's eyes long enough that he started to smirk again when her head tilted to the side and her brow furrowed. "What's wrong with your eye?" she asked.

Rang blinked, his fox eye fading to brown as he straightened, surprise evident. "How did you do that?" he questioned without thinking.

"Do… what?" Ga Eul asked. She took a better look at him and realized that this couldn't be So Yi Jeong. His face was slightly thinner and when she ran her eyes over his body, he seemed to be a bit more muscular than Yi Jeong. Not that Yi Jeong was lacking when it came to muscles, but this man was just a little bit bulkier as if he worked out more. There was also a cocky assurance that even Yi Jeong didn't have that this mirror image of him did.

"You really aren't So Yi Jeong playing a trick on me," she finally said.

Rang smirked again, those same dimples that Yi Jeong also had indenting his cheeks. "I'm really not," he said. "But I want to know who you are now since you broke through my hypnosis."

"Oh is that what you were trying to do?" Ga Eul questioned. "And what about your eye?"

Rang pulled his hand from his pocket, waving it dismissively. "Unimportant," he said. "Tell me your name."

Ga Eul actually scoffed, tucking her purse onto her shoulder more. "Why should I tell you?" she asked. "If you are to be believed, you just tried to hypnotize me to forget you and a man I've known for a few years now."

"If you knew him that well, then why mistake me for him?" Rang asked her, amused.

"Because you look very similar, enough for me to think you were him in my rush," Ga Eul said. "Now since you aren't him, you are simply making me later than I am and I need to go." When she attempted to step around him, Rang smoothly blocked her once more.

"Not before you tell me your name," Rang said with a grin.

Ga Eul's eyebrow arched. "Don't think with that cute face you can get your way," she said. Hadn't she said something similar when she first met So Yi Jeong? "Now please move, I'm very busy."

"Your name?" Rang asked again.

"None of your business," Ga Eul said, stepping to the side only for Rang to once more shift and step in front of her.

"I think by now it is," he said with that same grin.

"I don't," Ga Eul said with her own snarky smirk. She once more tried to side-step the man, only for him to mirror her easily. "Yah!"

"Your. Name," Rang said once more, still grinning.

"You. First," Ga Eul snapped.

"Oh, so a game of you'll show me yours if I show you mine?" Rang asked, grinning more as her cheeks blushed brightly, knowing what normally happened with that sort of line. "My name is Rang."

"Ga Eul," she finally said with reluctance.

"Autumn," Rang said with a tilt of his head. He grinned once more at her. "It suits you."

"Let me guess, because I'm not quite an ice queen, but close?" Ga Eul said witheringly. His eyebrow arched a bit, wondering if it was a common insult she faced from others.

"Not at all," Rang said. He moved closer, smirking when she took a step back. He lowered his head. "Autumn is when we see the changes of green leaves as they shift to fiery reds and oranges. It's the most stunning season of the four."

Ga Eul blinked, her blush coming back as she pulled her head back to look into Rang's eyes. There was mischievous mirth that filled the dark depths that was so similar to Yi Jeong and yet entirely different from what she was used to from the potter. It was almost intoxicating.

"I hope to see you again, little Autumn," Rang said, his voice low before he straightened and walked around Ga Eul to head off down the sidewalk and away from where she stood staring at his retreating back.

"Ga Eul!" Geum Jan Di ran over to Ga Eul as she stood waiting for her best friend outside of the club Song Woo Bin owned where they would all be meeting. It was a tradition that the F4 and the two girls would all get together at least once a month now that Gu Jun Pyo and So Yi Jeong were back in Korea. Only the past few times, Ga Eul had been extremely late or had to cancel at the last minute. This was the first time she had nothing that would keep her from joining them.

It had been almost two months since she had, quite literally, run into a man that looked identical to So Yi Jeong. She hadn't seen him since and she had only mentioned the encounter to Jan Di. Of course, her best friend had said it was impossible that there could be another man in Korea that looked exactly like the former Casanova and for them not to notice. So Yi Jeong's face was too exquisite to not be noticed if another was walking around. Jan Di teased Ga Eul saying that she probably had only thought he looked like Yi Jeong because she had been in such a rush that day to get to their normal get-together and see the handsome potter. The status of their relationship was still a bit ambiguous since he had returned from Sweden, despite going to see Ga Eul immediately when he had gotten home. To be fair, Ga Eul had said to Jan Di when they discussed it once, both her schedule and Yi Jeong's had been insane since he had returned so discussing any relationship between them, let alone forging one, was proving difficult in light of that.

"I can't believe I'm the first to arrive," Ga Eul said as she hugged Jan Di.

"Well I am sure Woo Bin-sunbae is already inside since this is his club," Jan Di said. "Why are you waiting outside, anyway? Why not just go in?"

"I wanted to wait for you," Ga Eul dodged. She sighed when Jan Di arched an eyebrow. "Okay, fine, you know I'm still uncomfortable at times going anywhere without you or Yi Jeong-sunbae. I still feel like an interloper even after all these years."

"You know you're not," Jan Di said, rubbing Ga Eul's arm.

"Hello, Little Autumn." Jan Di frowned, tilting her head at the familiar voice and face as the man was dressed similarly and yet so differently from what So Yi Jeong would wear.

While Yi Jeong was known for his suits, a bit more casual than what they had been before he went to Sweden, she still didn't imagine that he would wear a red suit with a black shirt that wasn't completely buttoned and no tie. Not that the man didn't look extremely good in such attire, but it wasn't Yi Jeong's style. And Ga Eul's reaction was definitely not the same one she would have to Yi Jeong. Plus, what was with the Little Autumn reference?

Slowly turning to face the man she hadn't seen in a couple of months, Ga Eul couldn't help the hard swallow when her mouth suddenly went dry at the image he presented. Like Jan Di, her immediate thought was how not like So Yi Jeong he looked in that moment, while still managing to look exactly like him. Not for the first time since remembering their initial encounter, there was something very carefree and dangerous about Rang that Yi Jeong could potentially possess but probably did not give into due to his family's reputation. Something that it would appear Rang could care less about. It was a sexy combination that could be dangerous to any woman's libido.

Rang, for his part, simply had his hands tucked into the pockets of his trousers, his head tilted to the side with that knowing smirk he seemed to always possess as he studied the human that intrigued him, even months later. He hadn't been able to forget her, especially as she was the only human he had ever met that his hypnosis had no effect on. It had certainly piqued his interest. His dark gaze shifted to the woman at her side. Not necessarily unattractive, but certainly not to his tastes. She seemed all hard lines and uneven edges whereas his little Autumn seemed much more supple and smoothly curved. It was a shame she seemed to keep herself so covered.

"And here I thought you were nothing more than a dream," Ga Eul said, but the moment she spoke she regretted the words that had slipped out as Rang's smile widened.

"A dream, hmm? Perhaps I have been haunting yours since you ran into me that day?" he asked her. He grinned even more as she scoffed.

"In your dreams," she quipped.

"Oh, believe me, you were in them," Rang said. He chuckled as her cheeks flushed brighter. He once more let his gaze move to the girl beside her. "Shall you introduce us, little Autumn?"

"Yah, her name is Ga Eul," Jan Di said.

"Which means Autumn, Jan Di," Ga Eul said. "This is Rang, the one I told you about."

"So you have thought of me," Rang said, amusement lacing his tone.

Ga Eul simply rolled her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest. "Only to tell her about our run-in," she said. "Don't think you left an impression."

"Except I think I did," Rang said with a grin. He stepped closer, grinning more as her arms lowered and she took an involuntary step back before making herself stop in an attempt to show he had no effect on her.

"You would be wrong," Ga Eul said, cursing how her voice squeaked ever so slightly. It was only because he looked so much like Yi Jeong! That was the only reason!

"You might be protesting a bit too much," Rang said, grinning down at her.

"Yo, Jan Di! Ga Eul!" Song Woo Bin's voice floated to them as he approached. Jan Di tore her eyes away from Rang and Ga Eul to see Woo Bin walking towards them along with the other members of the F4, including Yi Jeong himself. She had to blink a few times because the resemblance between Yi Jeong and the man currently staring into Ga Eul's eyes was uncanny.

"Who's this?" Gu Jun Pyo questioned as he walked up, noting the man standing a bit too close to the girls.

"Someone who was just leaving," Ga Eul said. "Weren't you?"

Rang simply tilted his head, his fox eye appearing as he smirked at Ga Eul. "Am I? Is that what you want?" he asked. Jan Di stared when she looked at Rang's face, seeing the fox eye, but she couldn't have seen it? There was no way someone's eye could change and she knew that both of his eyes were that rich dark brown, the same as Yi Jeong's were. So why was one different now?

"Stop it," Ga Eul hissed. "I don't know what you are-."

"First time you asked that since we met," Rang cut her off, amused. "It's a good question to ask yourself though."

"Who are you, man?" Woo Bin asked, his protective nature coming through as he came around to stand behind Jan Di. He blinked the moment he got a chance to see Rang's face.

"Is this guy bothering you two?" Yun Ji Hu asked, his tone soft-spoken but had a steel edge to it. One that reminded Rang, unfortunately, of his brother's.

"Not at all," Rang said. "Simply reacquainting myself with little Autumn here and meeting her friend." He turned his head to speak directly to Ji Hu, but his gaze fell on Yi Jeong's shocked face. A slow smirk formed as Rang took a moment to study the mirrored reflection standing in front of him. True there were differences, but he suddenly understood why Ga Eul had mistaken Rang for this Yi Jeong. Though he was certain he was still much more handsome and certainly more dangerous than the human before him. He couldn't help but turn back to Ga Eul with a knowing smirk.

"You certainly have a type."

"Yah!" Ga Eul proclaimed, her cheeks flushing brightly. Rang simply chuckled, slipping one hand free from his pocket to brush a lock of dark hair from Ga Eul's face. He ignored the growls from the four men before he was stepping backward off the curb, his dark eyes still on Ga Eul's.

"See you around, Little Autumn," was all he said before he turned on a heel and walked away from the group.

"Who in the hell was that?" So Yi Jeong asked, his voice showing obvious signs of jealousy. Jan Di attempted to explain exactly who the man was for Ga Eul, who could only watch Rang's retreating form before he was gone entirely, wondering exactly who and what the man was yet again.
