Night problems- part 2
Amy asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch2660 "Night problems" where Emma goes to see the doctor and Snow goes with her. Snow brings a notebook containing details of when Emma has had accidents. Emma's embarrassed.
How her mother had even found out that she had a follow up appointment with Whale Emma would never know. What was even more of a mystery was how she managed to convince Emma that she should sit in with her on the appointment for moral support. Given the sensitive nature of them medical complaint, Whale seemed hesitant to allow Snow in with Emma, but the look Snow gave him when he suggested she might be more comfortable waiting in the waiting area made him think twice about insisting.
"So, Emma, how have you been getting on?" Whale asked her. Emma shrugged.
"I've been attending sessions with Archie since our last appointment. Not much has changed."
"With the bedwetting?" Whale asked for clarity. Emma nodded. "Has there been any change in how often the accidents occur?" Emma sat back to think. That would involve keeping some kind of mental log of when the accidents happened. They all involved her getting up in the early hours of the morning. How was she going to know if there was some kind of pattern? However, even though Emma hadn't been paying close attention to it, Snow had.
"I can tell you exactly when they all happened." Snow explained. She then began to list off the dates, days of the week and even the time of each accident Emma had since Snow found out. Even Whale was a bit taken aback by how thorough Snow had been. "I've looked it over for any kind of pattern. I can even tell you when she had her last drink the evening before each accident and what it was if you…"
"Thank you, but that won't be necessary." Whale said before Snow could launch into another list. Emma shrunk down in her chair, hoping that the ground would swallow her up. As if this whole situation wasn't awkward enough!
