Coffee jitters- part 2
A guest asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch473 "Coffee jitters" where Emma wakes up later still in a foul mood. She keeps crying. Snow is trying not to lose it. Eventually, to calm her down, she holds and rocks her. Emma puts up a fuss at first.
Sorry guys, I had hoped to be able to get through all the request list today, but to be honest, I've had a really shit day. Things just haven't been good at all, so this is all I could bring to you today. Make sure to get those requests in though, as tomorrow is that last official day of May Muses.
Guest: Gonnie just gies peace and wheesht though? I don't get why you bother complaining, just move on with your life. Or at least have the guts to log in and give me a proper place to have a discussion with you about it? No? Then hush. Nobody sees your reviews anyway, just me, and they just get deleted.
Snow just had a funny feeling. She frowned, looking up to the ceiling. Emma was supposed to be taking a nap, but Snow had a bad feeling in her gut that Emma was doing no such thing.
"Go check on her, if you want." Charming said, knowing what Snow was thinking. He raised Neal up slightly, rubbing his tummy. "I've got the little man." Snow smiled gratefully. She came over, kissed Neal's forehead, and then pressed her lips against Charming's.
"What would I do without you?" She mused. Charming smiled. He never wanted to think what he would do without Snow.
Snow then walked quietly up to Emma's room. She pressed her ear against the door. She frowned. Yes, there was definitely something going on in there. Snow quickly opened the door and found Emma trying to open her window wide. Beside her, Emma had connected everything in her room that was long and relatively sturdy.
"Emma Swan!" Snow said sincerely. Emma startled on the chest of drawers she had been standing on, just about toppling over. Snow quickly came over and scooped Emma up. She fixed her with a stern look. "What on Earth do you think you are doing?!"
"I-uh…" Emma stammered.
"Because it looked to me like you were trying to get out through your window when you're supposed to be up here sleeping since you spent the night jumping around high on caffeine." Snow told her. Emma's eyes darted around. She was too tired to come up with a proper answer to her mom's questioning. Instead, she hit self-destruct. Emma started flailing around in Snow's arms, tears began streaming down her face.
"Lemme go!" Emma demanded. "I don't need to sleep!" Her very actions told Snow the exact opposite. She was extremely overtired and needed a nap, but she clearly wasn't going down without a fight. Still holding a struggling Emma in one arm, Snow grabbed a blanket in the other. She got the blanket wrapped around the wriggling Emma's shoulders.
"You want to go outside, Emma? Fine, let's go outside." Snow said. She kept a tight grip on Emma as she made her way outside. She sat down with Emma by her side on the swinging porch chair. Emma continued to throw her tantrum for a good few minutes. All the while, Snow continued to gently push her foot against the ground, swinging the chair back and forth slowly. It took at least ten minutes, but eventually, the sobs became silent. Snow peeked over and saw that her eyes were drooping. Snow smiled, she was fighting to the end.
"Not sleepy." Emma grumbled, her head slowly moving down to meet Snow's shoulder.
"Uh huh." Snow murmured. "I know." Snow continued rocking the porch swing until she was certain Emma was out. She looked down at her little girl, mission accomplished. Snow then carefully scooped Emma back up and carried her back up to her bed. Snow tucked her in with the blanket she had brought her outside with. Snow kissed the top of her forehead.
"I'll wake you up in an hour or so." Snow whispered, tiptoeing back out. Snow smiled to herself. Clearly Emma was right, she hadn't been sleepy at all.
