Fresh Start

Pain is a temporary thing, it can last a minute, an hour, a day or even years, but eventually it will end and something else will take its place.

Prologue: Slow steps to weakening grew in strength: Izuku fresh start

The view from above to see a city produces different types of feelings in people, in some they may feel fear, in another excitement, depending on the situation may even produce romance and may even generate enlightenment to respond to the meanings of the existence of the living being.

"How ... did I come to this?"

Or in this case answer the question of a 13-year-old boy with green hair and green eyes with four freckles forming a diamond on each cheek.

This boy is Izuku Midoriya, a high school boy with normal features that you would find anywhere, well, he would be normal if it weren't for the unique condition in his body and how society views him.

To understand his situation we must go back long before Izuku was born.

It all started in the country of China, in a hospital in the city of Qin Qin, where there was the birth of a luminescent baby, that was the beginning of the whole concept of normality gave a 180 ° turn, superpowered abilities appeared everywhere, over time people began to call them Quirk and even today has not been able to find an explanation of "why" or "how" this happened, but if it was clear something ...

and it was the beginning of an era of heroes and Quirks.

When chaos struck there was a group of people willing to use their powers for the greater good and they were called heroes by many, when the governments of the world learned of this they saw an opportunity and began to integrate heroes as a paid profession, it took time but in the end people with Quirk were accepted.

over time the current population of the planet was split in two with 80% of the current population being Quirk and the remaining 20% as normal people considered Quirkless.

So in a world where you could see heroes and villains in all directions, you could say that this kind of world was a "wonder", but the truth of reality could not be harsher in front of the remaining 20% of the current population, the Quirkless were practically repudiated by the vast majority who have Quirk, Quirkless were hardly treated with respect they were easy targets for bullying and worst of all the majority of the population ignored them even heroes were no exception, so Quirkless in such an environment are more likely to commit suicide or suspiciously disappear out of nowhere.

To Izuku's misfortune he was in the top 20% of the Quirkless population and was abused by his school both physically and mentally, constantly reminding him that he couldn't fulfill his dream of being a hero because he was Quirkless, but that wasn't the reason he is where he is now.

You may wonder, how did it come to this, did he reach his limit after so much time of not receiving support from his family to fulfill his dream? Or was it the constant bullying by his former best friend and his classmates since he was 4 years old and the educational institutions he attended?

If Izuku was in a better state of mind the responder... today on the way to school.

Part 1

CRASH

CRASH BOOM

CRASH RIIIIIIIIIP

The collision produced by three cars in a chase occurred in Musutafu city center , being that among the three cars one is a police car that unfortunately got caught in the villains' wrong turn, which caused a collision with the two cars in pursuit, leaving the policemen unconscious and the villains half stunned.

Coming out of their daze the villains one by one got out of the cars, four in all, looking increasingly worried as more and more of the police cars chasing them with the heroes arrived at their location.

"SHIT! Please tell me our hostage is still alive!" A lanky villain with a punk hairstyle with a left arm like a buzz saw exclaimed uneasily.

"You care more about a scapegoat than money!?" asked another villain with a lean, but well-built musculature, wearing black pants, barefoot and with nothing over his waist up, brown skin and bull horns.

"That such a "patsy" as you say is literally our only line of defense against "HIM"! The reason we are not yet crushed is because we still have a hostage!" shouted in panic a villain in a costume that hides his entire body except for his eyes, made entirely of metal plates that are strangely not welded together.

In response to all their complaints the fourth member pulled out of one of the cars an unconscious but alive woman, and large bags of money, this villain is wearing Kevlar armor on his torso, he has a gas mask connected to a gas tank attached to his back which is also connected to a gun that is held in his right hand, he also has a third arm coming out of his back like a tail, which was dragging the seven bags of money.

To express his jubilation the bovine-like villain said.

"Tox if it weren't for you being a man and melting my face I'd be kissing you right now" Tox said nothing, but frowned in disgust and waved his right hand in a gesture to keep him away.

Gradually civilians gathered at the scene, but among them could be seen a clump of green hair with a notebook and pencil in hand.

"What happened here?" confused Izuku asked "Wait... That's Air jet, Death Armans ¡Present Mic! ¿¡Midnight!? ¡Hell even Eraserhead showed up!What happened here for so many Heroes, including an underground one, from different cities to come!"he asked as he quickly wrote about the heroes and villains in his notebook, not noticing that for a moment the villain named Tox and the aforementioned underground hero looked at him.

"You should check your cell phone for the recent news, apparently villains robbed one of the big banks in Tokyo and have been running away from the police and heroes for almost three hours" said a civilian polite enough to tell Izuku the situation and show him his cell phone screen as the incident happening in front of him was shown live, so Izuku looked to the sky to see that there was a helicopter broadcasting the event.

"Wait! You said Tokyo, that's the place where All Might mostly resides how could they escape from him, or more importantly why isn't he here?" asked confused and worried Izuku.

"From what they said on the news these villains hurt all the people in the bank at the time, but they did not kill anyone, but left them in a serious state to the point that All Might himself, when he arrived, had to prioritize taking those people to the nearest hospital as there were not enough ambulances for everyone, worst of all, that bank is one of the farthest from the hospitals in Tokyo. The villains had already fled when he arrived," explained the civilian in more detail.

Izuku continued to watch the fight and saw how the villains created a wall of acid cloud, with metal objects making a barricade not only to defend against the heroes' attacks but also to stay out of Eraser's sight.

"From what I can understand All Might shouldn't take long with leaving the civilians even if the nearest hospital is far away, since his super speed will allow him to arrive in a few second, but you have to take into account that other people can't survive that kind of speed and more when they are in bad shape, as for the villains apparently they had a whole premeditated plan and used All Might's weakness for civilians to drive him away and for some reason they know about Eraser's peculiarity... wait Is that Snipe ?"

Izuku continued to write unaware that he was beginning to mumble and startle the civilians around him, until he stopped to see a subtle shadow crossing the buildings.

Again Izuku did not notice the gaze of the villain and Eraser, only that the hero kept his gaze a few seconds longer than the villain.

Aizawa Shouta , the underground hero Eraserhead, was not having a good day, first of all, it seemed like the world was conspiring to not let him sleep any more than he normally did, with villains showing up more than usual at his shift time, which was at night and a damned cat, as much as he loved them, snuck into the UA building and scratched his favorite sleeping bag that was in the teacher's lounge when he went to get a coffee, when he resigned himself to sleeping on the couch in the lounge using the remains of his bag as a comfortable pillow, if only for an hour before classes started, he received a call from his best friend as well as one of his biggest headaches, Present Mic AKA Hizachi Yamada the voice hero.

Apparently some villains, to their slight surprise, were able to escape from All Might using their weakness for civilians long enough to lose him, but taking a hostage with them, of course other heroes soon found out about them, found them and triggered the full speed chase from Tokyo to Musutafu, this led to their friend who was on his way to school joining along with another of his friends and co-workers, Midnight AKA Nemuri Kayama the +18 heroine.

He was called in as one of the villains had a Quirk that could spew liquid acid, as well as a cloud of the same compound.

Aizawa told them that they could solve that themselves, especially since Midnight was there, but apparently the problem and the main reason they called him was that the villain's acid had a special property, as it could make any liquid or gaseous compound, with the exception of air, turn into acid, they discovered that when Midnight tried to throw his Quirk somnambulist towards them, only for it to turn into acid, on a side note the acid gas does not affect metal in comparison in its liquid state, but it is very harmful on biological things when you breathe it, one of the heroes present had the misfortune to try it first hand and abandon the chase so that his life would not be in danger.

He was also told that a hero with a mutant-like Quirk that gave him characteristics of a lion with some kind of metal bone sticking out of his joints, tried to get in the way of the villains only to suddenly be lifted up and then thrown out of the way, this gave even conjecture that one of the villains had a telekinetic or magnetism Quirk.

With that said Aizawa had to admit this team of villains were competent and that they were well balanced, he reluctantly told them he was on his way and would bring reinforcement, so he went to Snipe and agreed to go with him, but unfortunately only he and Snipe were free, as the other heroes have not arrived or would be of no use for this situation.

With no more allies to call the two left in Snipe's car and Aizawa called Mic to find out where they are, he was told they were about 20 to 30 minutes from entering Musutafu heading downtown.

Devising a route, he and Snipe went to the Musutafu center. When they arrived it was just as the collision between the villains' car and a police car occurred.

Aizawa couldn't help but grimace at the unfortunate policemen, mentally sighing he just had to tell himself again that no matter if you are a hero, policeman or fireman, any job that entails putting your life at risk for others will lead to your death sooner or later, he just hoped those policemen are not dead.

Snipe broke away from him and went down an alley to go and climb to the roof of the buildings to get a better aim against the villains, while he joined behind his fellow heroes.

Aizawa is not someone who likes to attract the attention of both the media and villains, after all his Quirk Erasure is his greatest trump card as well as his best form of attack. If this were to become public, he would lose his greatest advantage against the villains, unfortunately even with his best efforts he could not avoid being known at least a little bit in the underworld.

But today the world really wanted to test his patience.

"Air Jet, Death Arms, Present Mic!, Midnight!? Hell even Eraserhead showed up! What happened here to attract heroes, even an underground one, from different cities!"

Thanks to all his experiences from his work, Aizawa had to develop a keen ear to hear sounds to avoid stealth attacks, you will also find him listening to conversations between villains and drug dealers from a distance where they could not notice him, over the years he developed his hearing to the point that he can recognize the noises caused by people, animals and objects to hear the most significant conversations in a noisy crowd that can turn the tide of battle.

So when he heard his name, he was inwardly alarmed.

THEY RECOGNIZED HIM! SOMEONE RECOGNIZED HIM!

When he shifted his gaze to the person he knew who he was what he saw was...A CHILD OF ALL THINGS!

Aizawa also realized that he wasn't the only one who heard the boy, he realized that the villain with the gas mask attached to a tank on his back was also watching him. After both men looked at each other for a split second before they moved.

Tox dropped the money bags and grabbed the bull-like man and they both stood in front of the metal-plated villain.

Eraser activated his quirk and shouted "Midnight activate your quirk now!"

The effect was immediate, three of the four villains tensed up and a violet cloud came out of Midnight, luckily for them the wind was in their favor, but it was not enough to defeat them, through some signs Tox told the villain of the plates to create a barricade, orders that he accepted very quickly, then the villain with the gas mask fired his toxic gas towards Midnight's cloud changing its somniferous properties to acidic, making Midnight stop his attack.

"Tch" Aizawa clicked his tongue as he realized that the villain kept the acid produced by his Quirk in the tank on his back, he could erase a Quirk, but he could not erase what had already been produced, nor cancel its characteristics.

The villain of the plates created a barricade made of the surrounding metal debris, which caused Eraser's Quirk to be losing his advantage each time from the position he was in.

Cursing under his breath, Eraser was about to follow Snipe's example and go to the rooftops to get a better view, until...

"... Wait is that Snipe?" it was a whisper, but he could still hear the voice of the boy from before and he wasn't the only one who heard it.

Tox and Eraser set their gazes on the green haired boy for a moment, until Tox stopped looking at him and motioned to his partner who could control metal, which made four pillars out of the scrap metal surrounding them. Aizawa still kept his gaze on the boy, with his thoughts going at speeds that could make Ingenium green with envy, he gave up knowing that this was not going to be his day, but he made sure to give him a title that would fit this boy.

«Troublesome boy» the eraser thought with annoyance before moving out of sight of the villains and civilians to take to the rooftops.

The heroes were having a tough time against the villains, that's the picture civilians were seeing at the time.

Death Arms and Midnight couldn't get close, the former because the metal villain was making sure he didn't get close and the latter couldn't even use his Quirk without it backfiring.

Jet Air was busy dodging attacks from both the metal plate villain and the villain who has a closed circular saw for a left arm, which apparently could launch his deadly discs.

Present Mic would launch his sonic screams to destroy the villains' barricade, only for the three villains to surround the metal villain so that Eraser's Quirk would not affect him and fix the barricade and the cycle repeats again and to top it all off the villain named Tox could Throw liquid or gaseous acid even when Eraser's Quirk is affecting him.

Snipe's bullets were useless with the metal villain present.

The situation was becoming a vicious circle and heroes, villains and civilians alike were becoming impatient.

In the end it was the last villain who has not shown his Quirk was the one who turned the tide.

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF ALL THIS CRAP!" with a great shout the villain with bovine characteristics grew, his muscles swelled to the point that they would not envy All Might for anything, his face that was still human changed to the face of a wild looking bull and his body grew to be four meters tall, luckily for everyone his pants were able to resist his transformation and not tear.

In all his splendor, the villain was the spitting image of the Minotaur of Greek mythology.

The villain in question unceremoniously seized the hostage who was just regaining consciousness and threatened the heroes.

"Alright, I've had enough of this if you heroes don't let us go, I'll break this woman in half and I'm looking at you two up there, one move and the lady dies!" the minotaur voiced his demands towards the heroes.

Two of the minotaur's three companions looked up at him in surprise, while the gas-masked villain gave him a blank stare, only to set his gaze skyward and notice an object... no, not an object, but a person, a terribly familiar person and he was not the only one to recognize that spot in the sky, that slowly, without anyone noticing, the villain dropped three of the seven bags of money and backed as far away from his companions as possible.

"It's about time you got around to fixing your problem," said a slightly irritated Eraser, noticing the arrival of a certain hero.

"That's..." muttered Izuku, also noticing the person's arrival.

It was in an instant when that dot in the distance became a blur heading toward the minotaur-shaped villain.

"SMASH!"

POW!

CRACK!

A big, resounding bang along with the cracking of the pavement was heard in the surroundings, a cloud of dust rose, but still everyone could see the imposing silhouette of the person who just appeared.

"There's nothing to be afraid of... Why?"

The crowd was excited, expectant, but among them Izuku was in disbelief of what was happening.

"It can't be him, it's..." he couldn't finish his words because of the sense of disbelief in his being.

"Because I'm here!"

Emerging from the dust with a blushing hostage in bridal style was All Might the No. 1 hero of all Japan, "the symbol of peace".

"It's All Might!"

"I can't believe it, it's really him!"

"Uuuuuuuuuuuhuuu! Yes! The day is saved!"

The cheers and sighs of relief from the civilians and heroes were soon heard at the arrival of their hero No. 1, the only ones who were not happy but alarmed were the villains.

"Shit, shit, shit..." the villain with a circular saw for an arm kept saying that word as if it were his mantra.

The metal-clad villain only gave a sigh of defeat knowing full well the outcome to come, he only gave a glance at the surroundings before kneeling down and saying...

"We surrender."

The civilians applauded at their hero and how he apprehended the villains with just his presence, but there was something that no one, not even Aizawa, noticed and if anyone could see under the metal villain's mask many would notice that he was smiling.

Among the civilians, Midoriya Izuku, was stunned, no, not stunned, elated to the point of shock could pretty well describe his state.

«It can't be... it's him IT'S HIM! IT'S ALL MIGHT!» His thoughts were a jumbled mess, unable to know what to do and not realizing that all the civilians around him crowded around All Might «should I ask him?» he mentally asked himself as he looked at his hero analysis notebook No. 9.

At the sight of his notebook he could not help remembering how he came to have this habit of studying heroes.

Like every boy born in this era of heroes, he had the dream of becoming a hero, but when he found out he didn't have Quirk everything went downhill, his best friend, Bakugou Katsuki whom he called Kacchan became his bully, people despised and humiliated him when they knew about his condition, but that didn't overcome the feeling of being alone and that no one trusted him to fulfill his dream of being a hero, not even his mother trusted him.

So the constant abuse from both his former best friend and his classmates affected his self-esteem to the point where he can't even trust himself, the teachers didn't even bother to look at him in fact they even encouraged the abuse... hell, they even participated in it.

When no one wanted to trust him he could only trust himself, however small that trust might be and he captured it in these notebooks, which he called "hero analysis for the future" from the time he was four years old, cataloging all the hero events he could find and those written in those journals, from the news on the TV or cell phone, to the hero battles themselves happening in front of him and even addressing them when they occurred, which earned him a habit of patrolling Musutafu City, much to his mother's dismay... back to the point, these diaries were literally the accumulation and crystallization of Izuku Midoriya's dreams and hopes.

So, having your greatest hero in front of you, the greatest inspiration of your dream, with the possibility of him answering the biggest question you've had since you were four years old, well... when he came to his senses, Izuku wasn't surprised when he noticed he was passing through the middle of the crowd to get to All Might.

He could hear a little of All Might's conversation with the reporters, but he was startled when he heard All Might leaving, he was close, so, so close, so close, so he took a little leap so forward which annoyed the people he passed a little, but it was worth it.

"All Might" the shout and their cries were heard.

Hero #1 turned around and saw Izuku with his notebook in hand.

" Ah, another fan, don't worry young man I'll sign your notebook" in a blur All Might took the notebook from a surprised Izuku.

All Might was surprised to find well detailed information on heroes, though he didn't focus much on that, as he was running out of time, signing on a blank two-page spread he handed the notebook to her.

" Well, I have to go, have a nice day, citizens."

Izuku, as amazed as he could be at having All Might's signature in his journal, couldn't let it go just like that without him having told him his question.

"it's... espe... WAIT! I need to ask you a question."

" Sorry kid I'm busy at the moment." was all he said before preparing to jump, but stopped when he heard the almost desperate question Izuku wanted to say.

"Can someone without Quirk become a hero? ... Can one become a hero like you?"

And that he did, All Might stopped what he was doing and contemplated the question seriously " to be a hero without a Quirk?" repeated the question again All Might, not noticing the feelings swirling in Izuku's head.

" Cough..." All Might's own cough brought him out of his meditation and warning that his time was running out "hero's work is dangerous... but being a hero like me without a Quirk? No, I don't think it's possible. Professionals must always put their lives in danger, so I can't openly say that being a hero is possible without a Quirk because it is simply not possible, the Quirkless would be more of a burden than a support with the danger constantly that a hero struggles with." that was what the peace symbol said without knowing that he was slowly and painfully destroying the green haired boy, but that was not where hero #1 ended.

" It's good to have dreams, but you have to keep those dreams realistic, the Quirkless can still help people such as being nurses, firemen and policemen, although the latter are usually ridiculed as people who only get and imprison villains, they are no less than admirable for what they do. "

And that it did, all of Izuku's confidence, hope and dreams that were barely left as embers, now just a tiny spark fighting a fruitless fight to find a trace of hope.

After All Might finished speaking, Izuku tuned out all the conversations around him and headed off in a random direction not knowing where to go, if he had paid more attention he would have noticed the incredulous looks from both Aizawa and the metal villain, who was being escorted to a truck to be taken to the prison, apparently they heard everything All Might said.

He walked aimlessly for who knows how long, he did not pay attention to the people he was bumping into, nor when they shouted at him when they told him to watch where he was walking, he did not pay attention to the explosion that sounded in the opposite direction.

He didn't know when, but at some point he had arrived at his school, regaining his senses a bit, but still having a blank stare almost acting... no, he was definitely acting like a zombie, making his classmates look at him funny or with distaste, especially a boy with an explosive personality, by the time he regained his full senses classes were already ending.

Izuku was about to leave until someone shouted at him.

"DEKU!" The sudden shout caused Izuku to drop his backpack and fall to the ground scattering some of his materials.

As he turned around he saw the person who gave him that nickname since he was four years old, who marked his status as useless as is the translation of his nickname, there is only one person who uses it so much as to turn that nickname into a verb.

"Kac ... Kacchan wh ... what do you need?" he asked his former best friend turned bully.

Kacchan's real name is Katsuki Bakugou, Izuku Midoriya's childhood friend since he was four, until his Quirk appeared and his attitude changed for the worse and he became Izuku's bully because of his Quirkless state.

Katsuki's standout features, her menacing red eyes and spiky blonde hair...oh and a constant angry face that she has 24/7 a week.

Katsuki didn't bother to glance at Izuku when something caught his attention, he was looking at Izuku's hero notebook No. 9 that was sticking out of his backpack when it fell to the ground. During all the classes, Izuku had his gaze fixed on this particular notebook How does he know? He has been watching him since he came to the classroom, ever since he showed up with a face of the deadest fish he had ever seen in his life, so with what he believes to be his authority, Katsuki wanted to know what he was seeing in that notebook to put it like that.

"I was wondering, what had a nerd like you so focused, you had the stupidest face I've ever seen you make" Katsuki mockingly commented as she rudely took the notebook from Izuku.

"oy ... hey give it back, po...please... please Kacchan" to Izuku's bad luck most of his classmates haven't left yet, so seeing that Katsuki was messing with Izuku, again, they stayed to watch the show.

"Hey Bakugou what do you have there, his diary?" one of Bakugou's lackeys asked and much of the students laughed.

"Deku, how many times do I have to tell you, a person without Quirk...a Quirkless person like you, can't possibly become a hero..." still not directing her gaze at Izuku Katsuki's gaze went from one of displeasure with rising anger to a blank stare, stopping what she was about to say.

This did not go unnoticed by the others, it even bothered them how their explosive partner put on such a deadpan look.

Emboldened, one of Katsuki's lackeys stands next to him to see what Katsuki was looking at, only to scream in shock.

"What the hell, how did you get this!"

That seemed to lessen the tension caused by Katsuki's condition and some went to see what was in that notebook, it must be said that they were more than shocked.

"No way!"

"This must be a lie!"

"All Might! A signature of fucking All Might the #1 hero!"

"How the hell did he get it!"

"...Wait can we confirm if it's true? This could be false."

"It's impossible, for two reasons, first, I recognize All Might's signature from a few pages and I can see a complete resemblance to this signature, second, we all know that Midoriya is a loyal fan of All Might to such an extent that he wouldn't settle for a fake signature, but he would make sure to get an article signed by All Might 100% confirmed. Besides... that you didn't see his face during the whole class? Only All Might's signature would accomplish that. "

While everyone was speculating the authenticity of the signature and how a loser without Quirk was able to obtain it. Katsuki kept looking at the signature with a blank stare alone, but his hands were throwing smoke and the only one who noticed that was Izuku.

Closing the notebook, Katsuki did something that caught everyone off guard.

BOOM

Still with a blank face Katsuki blew up the notebook and threw it out a window, only to approach Izuku who was as frozen as the others.

Suddenly Izuku was hit by a small explosion that pushed him to the wall of the classroom leaving him breathless, he tried to get up, but Katsuki grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and leaned him against the wall, even with that Katsuki's face was still blank, until he spoke in a monotonous tone that was escalating in volume as in emotion.

"Listen to me here and listen to me now DEKU , you are worth nothing do you understand me? NOTHING, you're just a person without Quirk that doesn't even serve as a trampoline and even with all that ¿¡STILL. BELIEVE. CAN. BE. A. HERO!? DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH! YOU'RE QUIRKLESS THE WORST OF THE WORST THE LOWEST OF THE LOW, IF FOR SOME REASON YOU CAN EVEN DREAM HIGH IT'S JUST AN ABSURD HALLUCINATION THAT EVERYONE WOULD LAUGH AT AND YOU CAN'T EVEN DREAM OF BEING ABOVE ME!" Katsuki's blank face was gone, now what can be seen is a face of pure rage and anger not unlike a demon.

The beginning of those words that was said with a coldness that was warming up, created an explosion of words that hit so hard in Izuku Midoriya's psyche, destroying the last spark of hope that Izuku had. What she received after her spark of hope was destroyed was not the feeling of having all your emotions torn apart that gave way to a great depression, nor an outbreak of homicidal emotions towards Katsuki, no, what I felt was the numbing of her entire being both physically and emotionally, she couldn't feel anything, she was empty, with no trace of anything...she didn't even know who she was anymore.

With that finished Katsuki released Izuku, who fell like a puppet whose strings were cut, when he was leaving Katsuki turned to look at Izuku.

"You know... there is a way for you to achieve being a hero" this shocked everyone, although Izuku was just looking at Katsuki with dead eyes "you just have to take a swan dive off the top of a building and pray really, really hard and ask to be reborn with a good enough Quirk in your next life" When he finished what he said he and his lackeys left"

The hall fell into a sepulchral silence, no one could say anything, the vast majority thought that what Katsuki said about Izuku and the Quirkless was correct, but no one had dared to say it, because that was crossing a line... a line that Katsuki crossed , so most didn't know how to respond to that, while some few, could only look at Izuku with pity. With nothing to say one by one the students were leaving the classroom until the only one left was Izuku.

He just stared at nothing, for a couple of minutes until he stood up, picked up his things, went to where Katsuki threw his notebook, picked it up and left for home. During the ride he couldn't help but replay in his head everything that has happened to him this day and he couldn't help but feel more frustrated and helpless than he had been in his whole life so far, only for that feeling to disappear and be replaced again by numbness, but in the midst of that numbness something horrible was forming.

When he arrived home, his mother was worried when she saw the burns on his clothes and part of his face, the only thing she said was that in a villain attack he roso him when he was watching a fight of heroes and villains, his mother could only give him a look that was between worried and exasperated at her son's adventures, she could only tell him to stay as far away from danger as possible and not to hurt himself. He didn't like lying to his mother, but he couldn't bother her with his problems, he had enough that she had a Quirkless son.

Izuku just smiled towards his mother, she always took care of him, she always gave him the love he always needs, but he couldn't help but feel so, so alone, no matter what he thinks about being a hero, his mother, even though she loves him with all her heart, never trusted that he could be a hero without a Quirk, she even hoped he would give up... but it never happened.

Dinner was wordless except for the conversation of how school went, in which Izuku had to lie again, when they went to bed Izuku could not sleep, but the dark feeling growing inside him was increasing, so when he was finally able to consolidate sleep, the words said by his childhood friend echoed in his head.

You know... there is a way for you to become a hero. You just have to take a swan dive off the top of a building and pray very, very hard and ask to be reborn with a good enough Quirk in your next life.

Rising abruptly from bed, breathing hard and cold sweat running down his body, Izuku Midoriya realized that he would not be able to sleep tonight. Finally the numbness was wearing off and all the sadness, anger, despair, disappointment caught up with him and he could only cry in his bed, minutes passed and he got up, got dressed and noiselessly left his house.

Taking a random direction, Izuku was about to make a decision that would define the path of his life... to decide whether he wanted to live or die.

He thought about his whole life up to this moment, the moment Katsuki got his quirk, the moment he found out he didn't have Quirk, how his mom cried about being born Quirkless and not being able to give him a Quirk and how she didn't trust him to be a hero, the day Katsuki became his bully, the moments when he was discriminated against and assaulted for being Quirkless, how he had to hide the wounds they inflicted on his mother, the realization that the education system would not help him with his situation even if he died, how the teachers encouraged aggression towards him because of his condition and how the teachers themselves joined in the aggression... until the moment he heard his hero tell him that his dream was unrealistic.

It's good to have dreams, but you have to keep those dreams realistic, the Quirkless can still help people such as being nurses, firemen and policemen, although the latter are usually ridiculed as people who only get and imprison villains, although they are no less admirable for that.

He tried not to think about it, he really did, but the words kept repeating over and over again in his head that he could not stop it, not that he had not thought of other professions, but he had the urge to be able to help someone who needs help, he could not think of anything other than hero work to be able to do it, but when he sees himself in another job other than hero work, such as that of a nurse, he couldn't do it since a nurse in an operation they have to stay calm so as not to make a mistake in the operation, Izuku doesn't see himself in that kind of profession with his hands normally shaking, while in police officers or firefighters... while they are part of ensuring civilian safety, Izuku's ambition goes beyond that, he wants to make a difference, a real difference.

"uuuff" without realizing where Izuku was going he collided with something as hard as metal, although he had to change that, he didn't collide with something, he collided with someone.

"I'm sorry" Izuku apologized, but unlike other times in his life, his apology sounded almost hollow.

Without questioning why there was a person at this time of night, Izuku was leaving.

"Hey kid are you okay?" the man's concerned voice sounded from behind him, turning around, he noticed that the man was looking at him with concern, with steel gray eyes and even noticed that his hair was the same color as his eyes, only hair had a metallic sheen in it

«Maybe it's related to your Quirk» thought Izuku as he looked at the man "No, I'm fine, you don't have to worry about someone like me, just go on your way sir" in a polite and a little empty way Izuku said to the man.

Without waiting for his answer, Izuku turned around and continued on his way, not noticing that the man and a person watching from the shadows were still watching him.

As Izuku looked around the surroundings, he was surprised to realize that he was in the center of Musutafu, he must have walked a long way without him noticing, again. Looking around he couldn't help but look at one building in particular, it was a parking building and he couldn't help but think of his childhood friend's words as he kept looking at the building.

"You know ... there is a way for you to become a hero. You just have to take a swan dive off the top of a building and pray very, very hard and ask to be reborn with a good enough Quirk in your next life . "

Clenching his hands, he went in the direction of that building.

Part 2

And that's how he got to where he was, at last all the abuse he suffered throughout his life and the little confidence since he was four had caught up with him.

As I watched the city illuminated by artificial lights and the moon overhead, I was ready to end this pain.

One step.

TAP

Another step.

TAP

Another one.

TAP

He kept taking more steps until he reached the edge of the building, but before he took the final step he questioned himself, if this was right, that he was making a mistake.

And like an explosion the emotion that had formed inside him was released.

I'm sorry, but it's impossible.

You can't be a hero.

Seriously... Midoriya?

Damn Deku!

I'M SO SORRY IZUKU; I'M SORRY!

YET. BELIEVE. CAN. BE. A. HERO?!

But to be a hero like me without a Quirk? No, I don't think that's possible.

Still think you can be a hero, Deku?

Damn Deku.

Each and every one of his bad memories, old and new, were popping into his head like the tape of a badly made movie.

Clutching his head, Izuku was unprepared for the great flood of bad memories.

There must be something.

I'm sorry, but it's impossible.

I hear Dr. Tsubasa's voice.

Even if it is only one person.

I'M SO SORRY IZUKU; I'M SORRY!

I hear his mother's voice.

Even if it's just a stranger... please.

You can't be a hero.

Seriously... Midoriya?

YET. BELIEVE. CAN. BE. A. HERO?!

But to be a hero like me without a Quirk? No, I don't think that's possible.

I hear the voices of his companions, of Kacchan... of All Might.

No one.

There was no one to support him in his dream all his life since it became known that he was Quirkless.

There was no one and no one to support him as he was alone from the beginning and had been alone.

So, with no one to support him, no one to trust him, Izuku Midoriya was about to take the last step that would end his suffering.

I'M GOING TO BE A GREAT HERO LIKE ALL MIGHT!

Suddenly all voices fell silent and all that could be heard was silence, after which the booming voice of a small child was heard.

I'M GOING TO BE A GREAT HERO LIKE ALL MIGHT!

That voice ... that voice was ...

I'M GOING TO BE A GREAT HERO LIKE ALL MIGHT!

«That's my voice» Izuku said to himself as he heard his voice from when he was a four year old boy and it suddenly hit him.

Yes... he has been "ALONE" all this time, just him trusting in his dream.

Since he discovered that he was Quirkless he knew that life has never been, is not, nor will be fair, no one supported his dream, not even his family, he was ostracized, he was vilified, he was assaulted to the point where he had to hide his wounds from his mother, always since he left the office, at four he was thrown to the wolves and only trusting himself to survive in the danger that is this society.

... So, if no one trusted him... the only thing left for him to keep his dream from dying out is himself.

I'M GOING TO BE A GREAT HERO LIKE ALL MIGHT!

Yes... he doesn't need someone to tell him he can be a hero.

I'M GOING TO BE A GREAT HERO LIKE ALL MIGHT!

You don't need your own family to support you in your dream.

I'M GOING TO BE A GREAT HERO LIKE ALL MIGHT!

You don't even need your favorite hero's permission to be one.

I'M GOING TO BE A GREAT HERO LIKE ALL MIGHT!

Because he discovered that there are worse things than death...

I'M GOING TO BE A GREAT HERO LIKE ALL MIGHT!

He knows that having a dream is fine ... but living the dream is absurd.

I'M GOING TO BE A GREAT HERO LIKE ALL MIGHT!

BUT HE'LL BE DAMNED IF HE'LL LET OTHERS TELL HIM I CAN'T BE A HERO!

He has always been alone in his dream, was never supported to achieve it and does not need the approval of others to even try.

As sad as it sounds, it takes only himself to fulfill his dream and if he doesn't make it, at least he can say he tried.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAA!"

So, for the first time in Izuku's life he raised his voice, not against a person, but against life itself, for its harsh injustice and the harsh life of people like him, his cry and tears contained all the sadness, anger, injustice, pain, regret, repentance he has suffered for years.

With tears and snot still streaming from his face, he turned around and it was at that moment that Izuku finally realized how idiotic his actions were just because of one small detail... he slipped, in retrospect now that he thinks about it, it wasn't a good idea to stand on the edge of one of the tips of a building.

In the face of all "this" after what he had gone through both physically and mentally, Izuku could only say these last words before his end and that, if a person with an explosive personality heard it maybe, just maybe, no matter how small, that person would be proud.

"Fuck his fucking life," he said with a blank face.

"AAGHK" what he actually received at the end of it all was a big headache... and backache, though not as painful as he expected, normally you would think falling off a building would hurt a lot, even if it was for a second, that and he feels like his eyesight is all wrong, because if he had fallen he would be looking at the ground or the sky... not the wall of the other building.

It was at that moment that he realized he was also upside down and felt someone grab him by the leg, stiffly Izuku moved his head towards the person who just saved his life, only to tense up at the hard look he was giving him, though what stood out most about the person was his spiky turquoise hair.

«Almost like a porcupine» Izuku thought absently.

The two people will stare at each other in a tense silence, they followed each other for a whole minute, until Izuku ended the silence.

"Ho ... hello."

"…"

All he received was silence.
