Bringing up the past
Heather asked for a oneshot of *season 6 spoilers!* Charming noticing that Snow is off after Emma announces they're postponing the wedding. When he talks to her about it, she says she's actually irritated he brought up Whale again. She's never flung Kathryn in his face. Charming realises he was wrong and apologises.
He knew she was bound to be disappointed. She had her heart set on that wedding. Charming had seen how much effort she'd put into planning it. He had seen the top secret Emma wedding planning folder plenty of times, it was something Snow put a lot of effort into. Charming knew this wasn't like the wedding was being cancelled completely, but with all the other things looming over them, he understood Snow's disappointment.
"Don't worry, Snow, it's going to be fine." He said, gently rubbing her back. Snow turned and looked at him, confused. "I know you're upset that the wedding's been put off." He said gently. "I get it, but it's still going to go ahead. That folder of yours will still be put to full use."
"Oh, I'm not upset about that, I know." Snow responded, a little curtly.
"Ah." He said. "Then what's wrong?" He asked her. Snow sighed.
"It seems like every time something isn't going quite right, or we have a disagreement, you bring up my history with Whale." Snow answered honestly. They never kept secrets from each other. "It just hurts. I never bring up your marriage to Kathryn. We were cursed. I don't see why you feel the need to bring it up at all." Snow finished. Charming didn't respond right away. He sat for a moment and took in what she had said.
"I guess it just still hurts is all." He said quietly. "I know it's not your fault. I don't blame you or hold resentment against you, really, but just to know you were with someone else…" Charming stopped. Snow smiled slightly at his jealousy.
"Wasn't easy for me either, you know." She pointed out. "You're my Charming, nobody else's." She finished by pressing her lips against his. Charming sighed, now feeling bad for being petty.
"Even still, I'm sorry." He said. Snow smiled. She stroked his cheek before standing up and taking his hand.
"Well, I can think of a couple of ways you can make it up to me." She said in a sultry voice. Charming was all too happy to get up behind her and follow her through to the bedroom where he could show her how truly sorry he was.
