~Kagome~
She wasn't sure how long she just laid on the futon, staring into the darkness. She at first tried to think about her family and how worried they must be. Thinking about her family only made her more sad, her chest filled with anguish making it difficult to breath, sobbing into her hands, gasping for air as if she was drowning in sorrow. She decided not thinking at all was better, at least her chest wouldn't hurt, and she didn't have to cry. Laying on her back, not feeling anything was better than thinking. She dozed off a few times, she would wake with a start thinking she was back at home, only to be welcomed by the darkness encompassing her.
Kagome was just about asleep again when the sound of a lock being opened grabbed her attention. She sat up, pressing herself to the cement wall as the door opened and light flooded the room. Her heart dropped in her chest when she saw who it was.
He peered around the door, a devilish grin grew across his face, his long dark hair pulled back into a ponytail, his eyes glinted with wickedness. He approached Kagome, kneeling before her and sat the lantern on the floor. He wore a dark purple t-shirt and jeans. His eyes looked Kagome over a few times, making her skin crawl. He grabbed the chains for the shackles around her hands, yanking her closer to him. Kagome looked him straight in the eyes, her face expressionless as he studied her face.
"I can still remember the first time I saw you at the store," Naraku softly spoke, his voice deep and even. He grabbed her chin, turning her face as he drank her in. "You took my breath away, even now your beauty captivates me. It's odd, you remind me of someone.."
Kagome glared at him, she tried to pull her face out his grasp, his finger tightened around her jaw, she winced in pain. She wouldn't let him have the joy of hearing her cry out in pain. Naraku leaned in, smashing his lips against hers, Kagome's eyes widened in shock. She tried to push him away from her but she couldn't get her arms to move far enough to shove him off of her. Naraku pulled away from the kiss, chuckling at her reaction.
"You're a feisty one, huh?" Naraku drawled as his fingers caressed his lips, tracing where their lips just met.
"Let me go! I won't tell anyone what you did if you just let me go!" Kagome pleaded.
"That just won't do," Naraku said as he gave her a cocky smile. "The police are already aware you are missing, I saw them at your house. It's too late to negotiate you leaving."
Kagome exhaled sharply, she'd do anything to get out of here. "Why are you doing this? WHY ME?"
Naraku tilted his head to the side as he leaned in close to Kagome, his mouth at her ear, "You walked into my store, that's why. And now, I can keep you as a pet. Pets live to obey their master."
Before she could respond he lifted the shackles binding her hands above her head, forcing Kagome to lean back, she let out a yelp. Holding her hands above her head, he roughly kissed her, forcing her lips open as his tongue found hers, caressing it frantically. He moved his one leg and forced it between hers, slowly spreading her legs open as he slid his other leg in. Kagome's eyes widened when she realized what he was planning to do. Panicking, she kicked her legs attempting to get him to lose his balance, she tried to pull her hands out his grasp. His grip only tightened when he felt her trying to move them. His crazed kisses moved from her lips to her jawline up to her ear. His heavy breathing rang in her ears, adding fuel to her rage.
Naraku grazed her earlobe with his teeth, just hard enough to have her yelp in surprise. Snarling, Kagome mustered all of her strength, kicking her one leg into his side, he grunted as he doubled over in pain. Naraku's head snapped towards Kagome, before she had time to react, his hand made contact with the side of her face, stinging pain flashed from where he had made contact.
"Do you have to act like a wild animal and toy with your prey?"
Naraku stopped moving, craning his neck to see the woman standing in the entryway. Tears welled in Kagome's eyes, she never has been so happy to see anyone in her life. Composing himself, Naraku stood up and faced the woman, his eyes narrowing as he spoke, "Don't piss me off Kagura, remember I own were nothing but trash when I took you and your sister in.I can just as easily take out the garbage."
Kagura glared at Naraku, venom seeping into her features. "And you never let me forget it."
Naraku looked at Kagome's crumpled, sniffling form on the floor; she hadn't moved since he stood up.
"Well now my fun is ruined. Kagura, take care of the girl." He demanded as he left the room, shoving his shoulder into Kagura's side.
She scoffed and walked over to Kagome, kneeling beside her. Kagome stared back, not sure what to make of the situation. Kagura didn't take her eyes off Kagome as she called out, "Kanna."
A young girl quietly walked into the room, her light coloured hair dazzled in the light from the lantern. She carried in a bag of ice, wrapped in a towel, a bottle of water, and some food. She placed the bottle of water and food on the futon beside Kagome, who sat up,, and offered the bag of ice to Kagome. Kagome gently grabbed the bag of ice, giving Kanna an awkward smile as thanks. She put the ice onto her cheek where she had been slapped.
Kanna stood up and left the room the same way she came in, silent.
"Make sure to ice your black eye as well. The swelling won't go down if you don't do that." Kagura said as she turned to leave the room.
"Thank you!" Kagome called out, stopping Kagura in her tracks. Kagura stood silent for a brief moment before responding.
"You shouldn't thank me. I'm not doing this because I want to, remember he owns me."
"If you didn't come in he might not have stopped. At least let me thank you for that."
"If you think that's the end of it then guess again. He'll get his way, he always does." Kagura warned as she left the room, slamming the door shut, and locking it up.
Kagome moved the ice to her black eye, and leaned against the cement wall. Kagome thought over the words Naraku said to Kagura, how he owns her.
'She obviously doesn't like him, and it seems like she owes him something. Maybe, just maybe, I can use this to my advantage.' Kagome thought as she contemplated how she can exploit this relationship.
