He needs no excuse
RaisingStar asked for a oneshot of something based off of "lights down low" by Jessie James Decker.
Barefoot, dance with me now, dance with me now
Turn on the disco ball
Kiss me up against the wall
Laughing so hard we fall
Cause this is our night.
Snow hummed happily to herself as she washed the remainder of the dishes. It had been a peaceful little day. Now Neal was sound asleep and she and Charming had a little time to themselves. Clearly, Charming was just as happy about that.
"That's a lovely little tune." He commented, coming into the kitchen. Snow kept on humming, but her smile had widened at the sound of her husband's voice. "In fact, I don't think I've heard it before." Snow could hear Charming padding towards her. He reached down and took the sponge out her hands before twirling her around. "I quite like it." He said, taking up one arm and spinning Snow around. She squealed in delight before giggling.
"Charming." She giggled. He smiled at that. Her laugh would always make him smile. "We've not got any proper music to dance to. We can't put any on because it might wake Neal."
"I don't need any proper music as an excuse to dance with you, Snow White." He told her, pulling her flush against him. She smiled, her eyes twinkling up at him. She would always feel butterflies when he did things like this for her. "Besides, I don't think we'll be dancing for very long." He said quietly.
"Oh? Is that so?" Snow asked.
"Yes, yes it is so." He responded as he moved them both over to the edge of the room. Snow's back was pressed against the cool tiles. She needed the cold against her skin. It felt like it was on fire. Charming swooped down and pressed his lips against hers. Snow reached up on her tiptoes to deepen the kiss. She moved her had up, running it through his soft hair. She felt his hands move between her cardigan and her blouse. They moved down to the waistline of her jeans. She smiled into the kiss. No, they wouldn't be dancing for long at all. Well, not vertically, anyway.
